O'Connor's Restaurant & Bar: what do users think?
Suzanne Hamm: This place has gone downhill what a shame! And shame on the new owner’s and management for not caring about their customers. Spent almost $100.00 for 2 dinners and their waiter was excellent but the owner charged us for an item that we couldn’t even eat! Even a discount would have been something but no. Whatever you do don’t get the spare ribs! Poor quality of meat! Spare ribs anyone should be able to eat and they couldn’t be eaten and they could tell that the whole thing went back to them and still charged us for it. Only the waiter cared not the owner! That waiter was so good and caring he doesn’t belong working for a place like that. Good luck to them. They should close their doors now before the public tarnishes their reputation worse. Cause they don’t stand a chance if they don’t care. Hello it’s us that let the public know where’s a good place to eat. Definitely not there!!! Good Luck!
J W: The Food was cold. The sweet waitress offered to take the item off the check but the old blonde woman manager refused with a nasty attitude to boot, the management are cold and rude. I was overcharged for an item once and the old rude blonde woman manager wouldnt correct the error. The wait staff seem miserable and there is a big turn over with wait staff. The quality of food and management has greatly declined since there are new owners. The resterant used to be packed every night with the old owners brendon and clare, now there is 1/2 of the customers there used to be.They will be out of business within a couple of years. What a shame. Brendon and clare took great pride in the resterant and the customer service.,Not so with the new owners and management. I understand the new owner is only 23 years old. Perhaps his mother should assess the management and make some improvements .What a shame.Kid-friendliness: Too many screaming unruly children running through the resterant.
John Hamm: Went there today for lunch and ordered the ribs. Was served in a timely manner when I tried to eat them I couldn’t get them off the bone, I put the fork in to try and separate the meat from the bone and it became a tug of war due to all the fat. A person whom I believed was a manager and the waiter asked how it was and I told them. They offered me a free dessert to make up for the ribs and still ended up paying for the ribs that couldn’t be eaten.
James Hunt: What a rip. 10.00 dollars for a half glass of wine.
Dan Larrabee: The whole experience was excellent. The parking lot was almost full, but we were seated right away. The server was prompt and knowledgeable. They have an excellent selection of beer on tap and a comprehensive wine list. The food was perfect, and the timing was as well. The price was great and we've spent a lot more for a lot less. This has been added to our favorites list.

Margaret A'Hearn: The big disappointment for me, was the inaccuracy of the posted on-line menu. As I have low vision, it is easier for me to read a menu on line than to try and read a busy, full menu at a low lit table. There were many deletions so the smoked salmon appetizer was no longer available and several salads were missing. So after a long time, I finally decided on the fish and chips which were very good, but certainly no the delicacy I was anticipating. So I hope the menu will be updated quickly to make it easier for all of us, and it will spare the disappointment.
Michael Kozlowski: Great place to go when you want to feel like you are at home.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Denise Smith: O'Connor's has a great menu and excellent service. Our orders (for a party of four) included 2 turkey dinners, salmon, and a veggie burger. All portions were large - with plenty to take home if you were so inclined...but more importantly, everything was fresh and tasty. This is far from "gourmet fare" but you can count on a decent meal, pleasant servers, and such a broad selection of menu items that everyone willng go home happy and satisfied.

Debbie Rayworth: Great service, yummy food as always. Thanks for lunch!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Shepherd's Pie, Fish and Chips, Traditional French Onion Soup …More
Andrea Smollin: The food is delicious. However, my party of 2 was sat in a section where the waitress had to cover 10 tables (by my count). We were forgotten about. We gave our order and sat politely with our starter drinks for an hour. When the waitress came to check on us she asked if we were all set as in ready for the check. She was stunned when I asked if she could check to see if our food was ready. She immediately went to the kitchen and brought out food, again delicious. So far no problem as we could see how hard at work she was. We left at least 20% tip.The perceived insult happened when whom I assume is the manager was walking around to every table checking on their experience and when he was near our table took one look at our food and walked away. It was clear he was avoiding us. Accidents happen and a simple acknowledgement and apology was all that was needed to keep a 5 star rating.
Lizzy: I recommend the chicken pot pie! Delicious and huge servings
Matthew (bikehooper): Recommended dishes Traditional French Onion Soup, Genuine Fish & Chips, Chicken Pot Pie, New England Clam Chowder Dietary restrictions accommodated Not sure Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lotMore
April Cooley: Played very sad music loudly. Made the experience an atmosphere unpleasant. I ordered a Long Island iced tea and was told they do not make them. The food was lukewarm at best. I was served a baked potato on a dish not cut open. I was not giving any butter or sour cream. When I ask for butter or sour cream, the waiter acted like it was an unusual request. The waiter was very unapologetic for the long wait for our appetizers and our meals. I will never go here again. Signature drinks were also served warm and not very good.
