Lisa R: I had initially found Jade through, Wedding Wire.I got in touch with Jade, and Jade and I confirmed spoke on the phone going over the booking and plans for day of the wedding. She asked I text her the address we'd be getting ready at, which I did along with reconfirmation of the date 12/14. She replied: "Great see you December 14th". Morning of I text her prior to arrival just to get an update on her ETA. No reply. I thought maybe she's already enroute and can't check her phone. 20 minutes after the agreed upon time, I call her cell just to see if she's running late because of an emergency, anything. She didn't answer so I left a voicemail. At 9 am when the Salon itself opens I tried calling there to see if they might have any information as to an update on where the stylist is. No answer there so I left a voicemail asking for them to call me back with an update. I try calling several more times to both Jade and the salon, no response. In case anyone is wondering, the voicemails I left were not hostile in tone but pleading. Still now several days later still no response. No half-hearted excuse, no apology, nothing.In summary: If you're equipped to handle a stylist not show up the day of your wedding then go ahead and book them. If you are not, then be warned, this could very well happen to you too.

At NKD, I have finally found the perfect esthetician, Vanessa! She’s so amazing at her skill, and I have never had more consistently thorough waxes. My skin is always so smooth after the service with almost zero irritation immediately after and until my next wax. I used to have a problem with ingrown hairs after waxes, but that hasn’t been the case with Vanessa, from a combination of her expertise and products she recommends. Vanessa is incredibly efficient and a pleasure to chat with during the service. I think it’s important to feel comfortable during your wax, and leave knowing you just had a positive experience. Dalia Yassin: I have a short dark hair and I got an appointment and I spent 1 h just trying to explain her and the owner how I want my hair, I was told that almost every style I want wasn’t working (even I show her my friend who has a darker color than me and recently colored her hair) Even basic colors that I had it done before to my hair. And after we get to an agreement they asked me to leave because the time is not enough. I explained to them I have work and had to have day off (which is from my vacation time which will cost more that what they would charge for the service..) and offered to stay longer while she works with others, they said no, and she was at the end that she won’t reschedule because I seem busy to her.. she didn’t even offer to work with other stylist another time. Saiyidah Aisyah: I don’t often write a bad review because my first step is to let the company know of my dissatisfaction but after leaving an email and a message on Instagram, I still have not received any reply. So here I am writing this unfortunate review.I went to the salon excited to get my keratin treatment and haircut. I also don’t want to name the hairstylist because I’m giving this company another chance to look into this matter. The keratin treatment went fine. I asked for a haircut below my chin, my hair was just touching my collar bones before that. Next thing I knew, the hairdresser kept on cutting and cutting until it was right below my ears. I did show her photos of what I hope to achieve but it turned out nothing like what I wanted. Initially I thought it was going to look weird because the keratin treatment must have made my hair too straight and flat but when I reached home and checked the side and back of my hair, it just looked awful. I washed and blow dried it but it still looked the same. I have attached photos to show you that the straight cut was not even straight and that the length was not below the chin.I had to go to another salon the next day to “fix” it and as you can tell at least, there’s a little bit more shape to my hair. I feel more confident now. (The last photo is after the “fix”)I just wanted to put it out there that if a hairdresser isn’t proficient in cutting short hair, they should let the customer know. Or even if the cut is going to look weird after a keratin treatment, I should have been told that as well. I’m not the expert in this case and was depending on the expertise of the hairdresser but was utterly disappointed.—-Updating this review. Ashley, the salon owner, reached out to me and refunded me the cost of the haircut and the other haircut to “fix” my hair from another salon.Thanks for looking into this matter and I’m just grateful hair will always grow back.

Tiffany is amazing with communication and making sure you are comfortable with every step, especially for brides! I used bright eyes for my wedding hair and makeup and the pricing was great for my bridesmaids. Martha was amazing for makeup. She listened to what each bridesmaid wanted and we all loved how it came out. Even when my hairstylist got Covid the week of the wedding, Tiffany made sure someone else was ready to step in and that my bridal party and I were taken care of. Looking back at the photographs and video from my wedding day, I still cannot believe how beautiful we all looked. And let alone she is elderly and dismiss her . I saw photos of all gelled makeup and they did t even line up eye lashes and or properly lengths I was quite distraught she was charged 75$ for make up !!!!!! Sephora not that expensive ulta is expensive they make you buy stuff but 75$ ? And they refused to allow her even buy product telling her oh just go online and buy the stuff really lissed off and should consider refund or fighting charges with the bank ridiculous how greedy this place is !

Hillary Brenz Brevi: I've had a relatively a good experience until recently. I made my mother an appointment and on the website it said it would be $140 but apparently they did other things to my mom's hair without telling her that it would cost her more money, totalling up her bill to $250. Not only that but a lot of attitude was given to my mother about it. I honestly wished they would have communicated with my mother about the extra charges.I'm honestly very disappointed since I've been very loyal to this place for 2 years. It's a shame honestly.Edit:In your response you stated that she was told multiple tines. Which doesn't make sense because she knew how much she had at hand. She would have never gotten it done if she knew the price went up. She would have rescheduled it. The fact that you would lie about it to make it seem like it was my mom's fault. Kates Fam: I came in with hair down to my butt. My hair cut turned out horrible and not anything like I wanted. It was cut way shorter than I initially asked. I wanted my hair a little above the middle of my back and it turned out barely touching my shoulders! And the back underneath is even shorter. so short I cannot even put it up, I have to use clips or it falls down. The blow out was horrible as well. Disappointed!!!
