Marilyn Dalton: Let me start by saying my stay at Worcester Medical Center was awful. I went in for a same day surgery procedure on 10/5/21. That team was amazing and the OR staff was great. When I got on The North unit after my surgery i remained on the unit for 3 hours before I was seen by a nurse. Which she stated she didn’t know I had arrived. I was in pain, drowsy from anesthesia and needed relief. Eventually a nurse named Linda made up for the entire team, she was amazing and took care of me..but the next day the poor care continued. All day I was not attended too, I had to reach out I did have a caring PCA who helped some with the experience, I have limited mobility due to incisions and sutures and I had to constantly ask for soap, towels and sanitary napkins. Call light rang for 30 minutes I understand the medical field is stressful and it can be quite busy. However Your patient statement is that you put patients first and are caring. I found that to not be true. One suggestion is take back the nurses you have striking and build your reputation back to a higher standard. Now every nurse, CNA, PCA is not bad I am just sharing the experience I had.

Carlito V: Called to make a dental appointment called number on website kept getting there voicemail called during operation hours, called the main line instead of talking to me just sent me to the same line left voicemail and no one returned phone call, next day called operator and they took my information and claimed to put a note in for dental office and someone would call me back yet no one did had to go outside side my provider to be seen which cost me out of pocket cost over 500$

Jerey: I normally don’t do these reviews But enough was ENOUGH with this facility.Everyone knows to make a Same Day appointment you have to call at 8 in the morning to get booked in for the day.Exactly what I did, I got scheduled for a 4 Pm appointment at the Urgent Walk in center. I arrived an HOUR EARLY (everyone knows the Walk-in Center is Always crazy packed- and they usually take you in earlier)Now let me tell you, I Have a recording of TWO NURSES trying to deny me Medical services And cancelled my 4pm appointment.One nurse Named Kathy (WIC) was obnoxiously Rude. Telling me that I should Call for a Same day, that what I’m being seen for is not “urgent” and brings up an irrelevant appointment that I missed that I was NEVER informed about. No calls. No Text. Not email regarding a missed appointment- besides the point she Then tell me “I’m not a doctor to tell you anything about your ear I just know an earwax impaction is not urgent” and I told her “if you’re not a doctor you should not be talking on something you have no Knowledge on”She cancels my appointment along with a Little Asian nurse (did not get her name because she refused to give me it) in words (in my recording) said “your 4 o’clock appointment is cancelled, there’s no doctor that’s available, no one can service you today.”I had to Report these ladies to their higher up Located on the 3rd Floor, Administration. Those ladies seen that I went to report them and all of a sudden they “ found” a doctor to attend me and all of a sudden my appointment was NOW available.This was completely unacceptable.DO NOT WORK IN THE MEDICAL FIELD IF YOU AREN’T COMPASSIONATE. ANYONE who books an appointment is and should ALWAYS be entitled to be Seen and to have medical supervision.This is a real life review, and a review telling new comers to Simply go to elsewhere to be medically seen.I dunno why they targeted me, I do 6 months routine for an ear flushing appointment UNLESS my pcp is not available. Cousin illy: This place is terrible. Front desk associate Ginger B has the most disgusting customer service skills ever. I simply came in for a drug test with all the information need instead of helping and doing her job she proceeds to become a dunce and acts like she doesn’t know anything and push me out the door. If you don’t want to work go home if you don’t know what you’re doing get another job. There’s a sign in the front of the establishment that clearly says no rude patients so I guess that means the people that work there can be rude to the patients. It’s always the ones who look like crypt keeper who have the most attitude. Get it together goofy and do what you were paid to do.

edna rivera: Went for a pre employment physical, felt like I was in jail! Front desk person was very nice. The woman who administered my drug test basically kicked me out the facility because she was frustrated I couldn’t pee even though she said I had 3 hours. I’ve worked in healthcare for a while now and this woman was one of the rudest I’ve ever came across. Teach this women some decency or how to be polite, she clearly had a bad day but that isn’t okay at all her attitude and tone of voice is all not okay. I went back a few days later for another test and I seen her interact with another patient in the same way. People are sickly looking to be treated, and they should be treated with kindness period.

I had high expectations for the care and support I would receive, but unfortunately, my experience was far from it. I am giving this urgent care only 1 star out of 5 due to the lack of empathy and professional courtesy exhibited by one of the nurses on staff.From the moment I was admitted, I noticed that the Nurse was dismissive and seemed disinterested in my wellbeing. Rather than being attentive and compassionate, she appeared to be annoyed by my presence and treated me like an inconvenience. Her body language and tone of voice were both cold and unwelcoming, making me feel like a burden instead of a patient in need of care.When I expressed my concerns about my symptoms and pain level, Nurse Anglea Farmer would either brush them off or provide curt, unhelpful responses. The lack of urgency and empathy was alarming and distressing.Furthermore, she seemed to make me feel guilty for requiring her help. Rather than providing support with a gentle demeanor, she would often roll her eyes or sigh loudly, making it clear that my needs were an annoyance to her. This behavior was very unprofessional.My experience here was marred by the utter lack of empathy and professional courtesy displayed. It is my hope that the urgent care administration addresses these issues and provides additional training for their staff to ensure that all patients are treated with the dignity, respect, and care they deserve.

Saade Saade: I was there at 7:15 for severe cough and blocked ears, I was told no one will see you all are busy and all rooms are busy , mind you the parking lot had 2 cars , 3 employees behind the counter too busy with their smartphones , and not interested in helping , was told to come back the next day , I find it horrible, I went to Shrewsbury street l9cation it took 10 min waiting and was taking to check up room, took my vitals , did a flu and covid test all came out negative, gave me 5 descriptions to pick up from my pharmacy and off to my house , if you open until 8pm you don't take any more patients, but 7:15 , come on do your duties........

srkgoswami: Improvement required from the front desk staff/system:I walked in and got help in filling the paperwork online by a nice front desk staff (3:50 pm). Then entered another staff who got my payment card information whom I asked how much time I have to wait to see a physician. The 2nd staff told me I will be told when it is the time and asked me to wait in the car. I was wondering why I had to wait in my car in a cold afternoon, probably using a heater, when there are 10 chairs vacant in the lounge / reception area. I then started to talk with my insurance company and did not realize I got call from the Urgent care facility. I got 3 calls within 5 min between 4:01-4:06 pm. Why to call someone so frequently if the person is not able to pick call? Then I received a message within 5 min that they cancelled my appointment. When I called them back after my call to insurance company at around 4:15 pm, I was told to re-register again. So, they deleted my information within 15 min of their first call when the facility was open until 8 pm? I was not sure what kind of treatment I would get, so I went out looking for other urgent care.Additional note: Also, they would not send you a bill and give you time to pay back unlike other organizations, but will deduct money form your debit or credit card on file. I guess if you do not have credit or debit card, you may not see a physician.

Ashley Scruton: Almost 4 hour wait first thing in the morning Sunday. Have a massive infection cyst on my face. They told me they think it's a MRSA staff infection and gave me antibiotics. Didn't test for MRSA or even look at my face. How can you diagnose something like that?Tried this place again for my son who needed to be seen. His doctor told us to go and we even called their help center as well as their website saying they offer pediatrics. We’re turned away because my son is only 3 months old. They only treat 8 months and up.. it should be specified before people waste their time bringing their sick child out in the cold.

I've been to a different urgent care prior to this one and they were able to see me on the spot granted they didn't give the right inhaler. But this urgent care on Lincoln St. didn't bother to take any consideration of my urgency and just said to make an appointment!!

Stephanie Segur: Between my two kids (5 and 2) we’re here, often. It doesn’t matter if we’re one of the first in the door or one of the last. We are always greeted with a pleasant staff member, and the nurses and doctors always go above and beyond. I’ve never felt rushed. I’ve never felt unheard and I’ve always felt like my kids were check out like they were one of the docs own. Yes the wait times can be long at times. The website is always pretty accurate, and even if they’ve been working like crazy all day, and we waited two hours, we’ve always had a very pleasant experience. I’m thankful for you all.

Arthur Wang: A terrible waste of time and money.Had nerve pain in my arm that got worse day by day, and wanted to come in for an ultrasound. Called ahead to confirm that they can do this.Waited 1 hour and 30 minutes to be told that they don't do ultrasounds on arms, and even if they did, they couldn't see nerves.Just do a quick google search for "ultrasound on nerves" and you'll see it's a common way to detect nerve damage. Showed the doctor literal photos of ultrasounds on nerves in the arm, and papers showing how effective ultrasound is for diagnosing nerve pain, and he had no idea what to say.I could also hear him talking to another doctor outside about how annoying I was.Again, just a huge waste of time and money, and apparently uneducated in their field.

Stephanie Gaudette: I don't usually leave reviews, but felt this one is warranted. I went there yesterday (New Years Day) with severe cough that I've had for 2 weeks. The wait time when I got there was 3hrs, this was at 3pm. I was shocked at first but the waiting room was full so I totally understood. The rate that patients were going in and out was fast, I ended up only waiting 1hr 15min, so you can't always go by the wait times! In just under 2 hours of treatment I received 2 nebulizer treatments, an x-ray, and IV fluids (I was a mess, lol). Try getting that in an ER these days! They gave me a nebulizer machine to take home and made sure many times that I understood the multitude of meds I was prescribed. I was so impressed with the efficiency! All of the nurses and the NP that I saw were phenomenal and so caring. I've been to this location many times before for me and my kids and have received nothing but great care there!

Shanice Reeder: I came in for eye irritation twice and they said it was allergies even though I told them that the over the counter medications was not working and my eyes became more swollen and painful. I went to see an optometrist and it ended up being severe pink eye. I felt like I was overlooked and they didn't seemed to care.

The Physican Assistant, I'd had was very concerned & caring , this place is literally little a mini - hospital without the additional Crazy experience & Noisey! They're did a C.T. Scan , Blood work , and a few other things, I'll truly appreciate everything they've did for me to help me feel better & I'd did find- out when was Wrong with- me. No complaints, whatsoever, they've even have a Little Mini- TV's with cable other side , for their patients to watch some television and get their help them not think about feeling crappie, that was so cool! This Redy - Med Location , makes our local Urgent Care's look a Vet - Hospital for pet's, Urgent Care's people & there staff aren't that approachable and friendly, for the most part . Here at Ready- Med on Shrewsbury St, in Worcester MA, excellent professional staff , nurses, kind , 👏 approachable, clean beautiful new state of the arch equipment! If ever I'd need to go back I'll 100% percent go here for sure ! Only 3 hours, if I'd decided to go the route of going to ER , it would've have been double- triple the time there an. Not so friendly staff, and a wrose endless migraine 😑 that wasn't needed, so I decided to go this route to Ready- Med , 5 stars ! Excellent service ! In addition, We got the test results at the end of the visit, which was really good!

mariangeli: I was there for 5 hours, they called the wrong name multiple times (mind you i’m hearing impaired - but if you’re not calling the right name to begin with how am i supposed to know it’s me?), my number was still in queue which is why i had stayed even though they claimed to have “taken me off” hours before when they supposedly had “called the wrong name”, told me they couldn’t take me after they messed up by never even TRYING to call me and were extremely rude. they clearly skipped over me multiple times and refused to take me once i spoke up. I literally have a photo of myself in my MyChart and everything because of my hearing loss so the excuses were beyond me. I watched my number sit FIRST in queue for 2 hours while they called everyone else in so their version of events doesn’t make sense. don’t even waste your time at this place. especially if you have a disability, they don’t care.

Zeynep Yükselen: I checked the website before our visit today, it showed 50 minutes waiting time for peds visit. Entrance was at 3:30 pm, saw the PA at 6:40 pm. He checked the toddler's ear, prescribed Abx and we left at 6:45 pm. As a physician myself, I'd understand the importance of triage. But not being able to do 2 minutes physical in 3 hours telling me that something is really wrong. Otherwise nurses and the PA were pretty nice and they deserve to be rated 5 out of 5.

The nurse asked all great qualifying questions about my injury (previous nursing student myself) was friendly and the doctor was very knowledgeable about my treatment and follow up instructions should my situation not improve or worsen. Will definitely go back if I ever need medical attention again.

Bob Gazard: I made an appt for 2:30, no one in wait room, was put right into a room and told the Dr would be right in. Waited 50 minutes in exam room, had a 5 min visit, practitioner was very nice and gave me prescription.

Maggie Davis: INCREDIBLY kind and caring nurses and front desk staff. My doctor, however, listened to me describe a list of mono symptoms such as severe fatigue and hives, and she proceeded to say "it's probably allergies, get over the counter Flonase and Zyrtec." I wasn't congested and didn't have a sore throat. It was like she didn't listen to a single word I said. I had to argue with her that I needed a mono test, and the very sweet nurse came to administer it ("Oh, you're in college? Say no more, you need a mono test.") , and wouldn't you know, I was positive for mono! The doctor wasn't even apologetic when she told me it came back positive, after she tried to tell me to go get FLONASE for hives and fatigue. Infuriating.
