Tianbin Chen: *stop Aisan hate*It is quite ironic when a museum has a display of cultural diversity but it's crew doesn't. The Museum is ancient looking with collections from many places. It says no touching the stones which we followed. When we are about to take our last portrait photo, they said you should stay away from the stone at least AN ARM away which is not written on the sign. The manager clearly thought he is the king of the museum and his word is the law when he interrupted my explanation three times saying “this is the rule!”It is not even how the president establishes a law. And he told one of his officers to add that rule on later... (the sign said no touching but not an arm away)I talked to the manager that he could watch us while taking the photo to make sure I am not touching the stone. I appreciate this place and would like to preserve this as well. He didn't even mind to listen my explanation and offer. When prejudice is in someone’s mind, they started to keep an eye on you, and add this nonsense fault to you using this “newly established, and never before exist rule.” we saw people taking their portrait photos freely and leaning on these pillars and stones sometimes because no one has been keeping an eye on them. From the start of our entering the place, the focus on us was making us feel like prisoners under supervision.Lastly, just put some glass over the valuable things okay? Or get a no-crossing line for a distance notice. We Asian should speak up for ourselves for any inequity we faced. That is all I want to say. I will never recommend or visit this place again.

Dillon Williams: Had an absolute blast when I visited with a friend. Brad the docent was very passionate about the armor exhibit and he made the visit!
Christopher Marshall: What a great hidden gem. Wonderful art, friendly staff. They try to make this interactive for the kids such that even the little ones had a great experience.Visited on Weekend Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $16–20 …More
SLI: Nice museum, but a lot of it is closed off right now due to construction. There are even paintings taken off the walls, apparently in storage. And the Cafe is closed until further notice. There's a slight discount on the ticket price, but if you have the choice, you might want to delay your visit until it's actually fully open.
Oleksandr Ostashko: Great!
Wei Fu: Visited on Weekend Wait time 1 hr+ Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $16–20More
alexander valaris: Much better and bigger than expected. They have everything from ancient Greek and Roman rooms to modern art.
Sylvia Bullock: Exceptional for a small museum. It's like the MFA with just enough rooms for an afternoon. Exhibits change frequently and are often the same ones that go to major cities.

tyler wills: I've been here at the Worcester Historical Museum 5 times in the pasted few years, with family this is a beautiful Museum dedicated to our wonderful amazing City of Worcester MA! The reason that brought us in to go to the Worcester Historical MA this pasted Tuesday 8-16-22 , was that my 96 year old Grandfather is coming to visit from Florida with my 94 year Grandmother, we wanted to get him the the wicked cool black tee- shirt that ("say's all the different ways you can Pronounce WORCESTER ")! I'd gotten one a few years ago pior, my grandfather lived in Worcester MA, many years ago. So this shirt has some meaning behind it. This Museum is a great place to go to with young children and adults . It was (FREE Admission ) for us to enter if Im correct It's been (" FREE Admission since Middle of July till the End of August 2022") ,this is another part of celebrating Worcester 300th Tercentennial . Also, during the entire month of February they usually run " FREE " Admission because the kids that are in the Worcester Public schools are on February vacation! Great time to go too! A few things did change, I'd noticed that a few things were up & running at the Museum! Not many people there when we were there.
M S: Interesting and nice to learn more about worcester. Wish it was a little bigger but if your looking for something to do to kill an hour. Worth the trip. Also free parking.
Gemma Hake: Visited this morning, the lady on the reception desk was so welcoming and helpful and made the experience lovely. The museum itself is really good and has a lot of interactive elements, good for children too!
lisa lessey: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $6–10More
Yvonne Raia: Nice little museum full of lots of interesting things to see reflecting Worcester history. There are periods of history and specific groups of people that are missing from the stories, which bothers me. For example, the story of indigenous people and African Americans. Despite this there is a lot of about Worcester that you can learn here.
Khuong Nguyen: Great place to learn the history of Worcester!

O'Nifty B: Nice museum that's easy to overlook. Well worth an hour of exploring. Lots of cool facts about Worcester I never knew. The time line of inventions from Worcester was the highlight for me.
Tata Siriphan: I love exploring new museums and this was a hidden gem!! It was so fun learning about the history of Worcester. I also took some souvenirs home from the gift shop! William Bohannan: Great place to gather with family and friends.
Jorge Mac & Cheese: It's a very fun place with stuff from the space race to a room themed as a 1950s diner. It's really great for kids, with multiple interactive items, and great for adults, so you can learn more about our great town.
Karen Kearney: Amazing place to learn about the local history but some facilities were not well-maintained and staffs were not friendly.
Victoria Miles: Awesome experience and fantastic to learn some things about the area!Great for post lunch afternoon activity. Anyone from Worcester County should go see it - only takes about 1-2 hours to go throughMore enjoyable than Boston Science Museum! It’s quick, sweet, and a great experience.
Wayne Geiser: The museum is relatively small, but there is a lot of stuff packed in, particularly in the room filled with all the industries that have called Worcester home throughout the years. We also drove the short distance to the Salisbury Mansion (part of the museum). The tour we got was a little rushed as it was the end of the day, but the guide was incredibly knowledgeable and it was both fun and interesting.
Michael Downs: Went to Visit the For the Record GLBQ+ Exhibit. Easy to get to. Easy parking. Low price admission. Greeted at the door by friendly volunteer staff. Temporary exhibits are right off the lobby and were easy to find. Well lit and spacious halls. Great local museum. A real treasure.
Helen Nguyen: Seriously, let’s meet a scientist!
Nadine Barnett: There was an exhibit called 50 Objects as well as a photography exhibit of Worcester Center that just amazed me. Time flew by wandering from room to room. I remarked to my companion that I enjoyed this museum more than my recent visit to The Smithsonian. I believe that is because the local history was so relevant to me and gave me the opportunity to appreciate just how rich and diverse this city has become over the years.
Gail Ferreira: Fascinating exhibits, artifacts & library - about Worcester’s history; what made it special previously, providing context for what’s ahead!

Damian Wayne: One of the most wonderful museums I've ever been to. Incredibly diverse selection of intractable educational exhibits. Beautiful outdoor regions to explore. This location has a little bit of everything, so its great for everyone! On top of that, the Ecotarium is incredibly inclusive of all types of people and is additionally very accessible to individuals of any level of physical or mental capabilities.I truly feel so lucky to have discovered this place, and then shared an adventure there with my bestest friend. There is playground equipment and an immense sand"box" outside, streams, ponds, walking trails, and animal exhibits outside (ie. Otters, mountain lions, owls, eagles, hawks and more!). Inside animal exhibits with many turtles, frogs, birds, and more. Interactive exhibits that children of any age can find something to attract their interest and a preschool area for the youngest ones. The EcoTarium is a Worcester treasure and a great place to go to inspire interest in nature and science.

The staff was incredibly kind, professional and helpful.
Kyle Charest: Don't like that you have to pay to get in and also pay to use the train or go to a show. It's a pretty small park, good for about 4 hours of time. Salisbury Mansion: what do users think?
Lisa Thomas: Interesting colonial era house museum, great history and original furniture. Particularly cool replicated wall coverings and floor coverings. The tour leader, Ashley, was amazing. Clear, interesting—a great guide. Her ideas for how to show more of the full history of the house and update the visitor experience should be heeded.
Joyce Powers: I visited on a Friday in March and was greeted by docent Linda who gave a wonderful and very informative tour. I recommend a visit, especially people from the Worcester area. Quite the history of the area.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry $1–5 …More
Charles Linder: The guide was wonderful, the history lesson incredible and its probably one of the more affordable historical mansion you can visit (not like a Newport mansion).I'm guessing on how busy they are determines the tour length but we spent about 45 minutes there and parking was free.

Mary Dybka Diorio: Stopped by on a frigid January day, knocked on the door but nobody was home
Brian H: Very cool local history.
Paul O'Brien: Classic historical home,a true beauty rich with history, check out the original floor covering on display
Mary Bell: Little known facts about the history of Worcester!
Ismael J GONZALEZ: At this location I was trained as an instructor of Advance CPR, Heimlich Maneuvers and all Basic First Aid actually taught to me by the United Air Force Security Police Specialist under SAC but here at the old American Red Cross Office moved to Century Drive towards East Mountain Street. I WILL CONTINUE GROWING IN JUSTICE and Peace.
Michael Nixon: Nice old building, the way it was was back in the day.
Narcisa Smuliac: Upon entering the mansion you'll be greeted by the tour guide and given a narrative of the history of the place. The tour tool about 30 minutes. It was okay and something to do in Worcester.
Andrew Keefe: We were the only people who showed up for 'Twas the Night Before Christmas
Steven Aronson: Very nice tour and guide of an excellent restoration of elite Worcester history
Rebecca Rentzsch: I've got the ticket when I have visited the Historical museum. At first I was unsure because I had to knock but everyone was very nice. They were about to decorate the house for christmas (Although the Salisburys were Calvinists). We were three people at the tour. Our tour guide was really quirky but she knew everything about it. I got confused by all these different names but our tour guide told us everything even in a funny (sometimes judging) way. I love how the house looks! Our guide explained us the changes which were made during the centuries. All in all very great!
David Seybert: Cool place to learn about Worcester history and take a tour. Friendly staff.
James Walker: I had friends visit from Maryland who couldn't believe how great the collection at the Worcester Art Museum was for a city the size of Worcester. It was only when I went on a tour of this mansion that I learned that Stephen Salisbury donated money to the museum and many other institutions in Worcester. I loved it when I went again and saw a group of elementary students coming out. I told them the only reason why Stephen Salisbury had all his money, namely, he was a bachelor and never had any children.
Deirdra Murphy: Yesterday we went to Salisbury Mansion, and it was marvelous! Thanks to the knowledge and enthusiasm of the Docents who gave our tour, it was truly an experience of history in it's most accessible form, through the architecture, furnishings, and the story of the people who lived and worked there, from 1772-1851, and even after, the building itself undergoing many changes until efforts to restore it and create this extraordinary historical experience, I feel we learned so much, and still, I want very much to return soon and learn more! Definitely an experience you don't want to miss!

Rexblogs11: Worcester has always been an excellent day trip. From there art museum to Shrewsbury street, DCU Center, and Palladium, it's an excellent tourist destination. A skyline as well with close to the amount of buildings that Boston has. Always enjoy the drive to Worcester as well, 146 is a nice ride. Highly recommend Worcester for a day trip, the Woosox or Worcester Red Sox are there now as well
Abigail Epplett: Great visitors center with interactives next to a paved trail for walking and biking. The "big brother" of the visitors center in Whitinsville.

Luz Negron: Muy facil de llega muy buena restriction para protection de coronavirus y muy seguro

Eric Penney: Really great up until the homeless encampments.
Alissa Kramer Briggs: awesome place where you can learn a lot about Central MA and the Blackstone Canal! I have always driven by this structure and never knew that it was the visitor center. Nor did I even know that we needed such a place! But, very interesting, informative and a beautiful building - worth a stop.
Blaine Bershad: I attended an event and was surprised at this incredible facility. There are history lessons here, also a great place for all types of events.A new Jewel for Worcester and Central Massachusetts! You never know who you will meet!Representative Jim McGovernSenate candidate Joe Kennedy
Adam Zwick: Really great visitors center connected to an amazing Greenway for biking and walking along the Blackstone, across is a really nice Marsh boardwalk with a interpretive walk. The place itself speaks on the history of the area and the Blackstone valley as well as hosting a bike repair station and offering fantastic maps of the Blackstone for blue space recreation.
David Charbonneau: I have driven by this place daily and never stopped in. Today my wife and I stopped in to check it out and we were pleasantly surprised to see a nice display of the history behind the early days of Worcester and the industrial revolution. The space is clean and bright and shows how important this area was to our earlier days. We will be back to explore the bike trail system when it gets a little warmer
A Allen: We were met by an enthusiastic, knowledgeable park ranger who gave us a great tour. The visitor center is very well planned and built. The human and natural history of Worcester and the Blackstone Valley is on display for all. We also had a nice walk on the mill pond boardwalk.
