Stacy: This review has nothing to do with the food as it's delicious. It has to do with "Lucinda" the manager, or so she said that was her name. When I called to speak to the manager "Lucinda" to tell her my antipasto came without dressing she said, "Okay...... so you don't have any at your house you can use"? I told her no, I actually do not. She said "well what do you want me to do about it, I can't come bring it to you." Laughing like it was a joke. I told her that I can't eat a salad without dressing she then told me, "If you' be quiet and let me speak, I'll check to see what we can do about it." I can't even describe the terrible attitude she had, I was so surprised by her responses to me that I was actually lost for words. My family and I have been going to Dino's for 30+ years. It's really upsetting to be treated so poorly by one of your favorite restaurants manager, I honestly do not know if I will continue to give them my business, especially if this terribly rude woman is running the restaurant.

Patricia Coz: Lovely place. Quiet, cozy. Nice bar. The food is excellent. We had the day's special, lobster pappardelle. Outrageous. Creamy, a whole small lobster on a pile of al dente pasta. The perfect dinner for a cold night. Surprisingly reasonable prices, too!
Carlos Frias Acosta: Had the honor of work in this amazing restaurant for 2 different events and the food and service is top notch; had the pleasure to meet with the owner as well; amazing person; highly recommend Nuovo Restaurant to everyone and so far my 2 favorite plates are the fries Calamaris and the Meat Lasagna.!
John Foisy Jr: Really good Italian spot, always knew it was on Shrewsbury St but never actually went. I'm glad we finally reserved a table. Good drinks, friendly service and great food!
Luis Aponte: I’ll just say this was a perfect experience! My partner and I came to celebrate our first anniversary together and I’ve been blown away by amazing service and food! Our server Matt was awesome and very accommodating! We started with the most delicious Bruschetta and Dijon Mussels! My Cioppino was incredible and to end a wonderful meal we got the Exotic Bomba! The restaurant even sent us complimentary champagne so we could toast! Thank you Nuovo for an amazing experience, we shall be back!
Amy Colangelo: This places prices are ridiculous and the portions are pathetic. We ordered the baked brie and fig appetizer. It came with 2 small pieces of toast. We were a party of 3 - awkward! We ran out of toast and had nothing to finish the Brie we paid too much for. Also, be prepared - there is no complimentary bread here. Dinner rolls are .50 a pop. Won't be going back until I win the lottery.
Claudia Hall: Michelle was our waitress she was so friendly, personable & helpful with suggestions. Minestrone was delicious Chicken Milanese was excellent. Limoncello martinis were excellent. Tiramisu is the best I have ever had. Great atmosphere, clean & inviting.I highly recommend Nuovo!!I will be returning soon as I had a hard time deciding what to order. I’d take a star away for 1 reason. But I didn’t. Baker!!! 2 dudes sitting in a white BMW. I stood there watching them. Put hands up. Waited 15 min. They looked at us and others and sat there like 2 juveniles. I went to get my own car and it was locked (as they watched) smoking weed and eating. I had to go into back door of restaurant down stairs into kitchen !!! Asking for help. A sweet waitress went out and got them out of car. Unprofessional, rude, and beyond frustrating after a great dinner. Grow up kids
Hilary Ful: We went to Nuovo for a private function. The owner followed-up to make sure everything was set before the event. The ambience was terrific. The owner and her staff met all of our needs. The food was excellent and presented well. We would definite have another function here as well as have dinner at the restaurant. FIVE STARS and worth the 25 minute drive.

Russo Italian Restaurant: what do users think?
Unicorn Dreams: Service was not great. I can't even say it was good. No one looked happy. It took a while to get greeted, everything was slow. Painfully at times. Then the disappointing food. One of my girls had the children's pasta with alfredo, it was pretty good. I split the chicken francaise with my other daughter - it was chicken thighs. They were not good at all. I've never had francaise with thighs, it should be a chicken breast. I had a side of broccoli rabe, that was terrible too. Most of the meal was pretty tasteless, but dessert was decent, I took home a cannoli and black forest cake, they were good. The restaurant was very chilly, I wish they had turned some heat on because it was uncomfortable. Overall, it wasn't a good experience at all.
Jim Salvatore: I've tried this restaurant several times to try and give it a fair shake. I wanted it to be great as it would be awesome to have a go-to Italian restaurant. I'm sorry to say, it just does not do it for me. I promise, I tried.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Parking options Paid parking lot, Paid street parking …More

larry ciummo: Decent classic ItaliAn fare with a goos wine list. Service was good and seating in "cave" was cool, except for slight smell of some sort of cleaner.Parking: Public lot and Russo's lot is close.

Becky Farrar: Sorry to say but my birthday dinner was terrible. Had never been to Russo's and was excited - Italian is my favorite. Nice atmosphere - cute restaurant - but food was terrible and waitress was uncaring.I ordered a sausage pesto dinner - pasta hard in the center, pesto sauce was inedible, dish very unappetizing to look at - servers only comment was sorry. No offer of a side of pasta or relief on the bill. Husband's lasagna was passable, not great-as we had expected. Son and wife's meals were okay.Wasn't going to leave a (-) but with the costs of dinners now - thought I should.Won't return!

Darlene Golightly: We’re so glad we responded to the tv ad playing on Spectrum 1 for Russo’s….. We’ve never had better Italian food. The restaurant was cosy and the waitress friendly. How do the Italians say delicious! The pasta fagioli was the best I’ve ever had. We both had the Fruitt de Mare an excellent choice. We’ll be going back soon.
Denise Lalashius: We went for my birthday. A party of adults. I ordered some chicken and broccoli with aglio e olio oil. It was completely tasteless without event he slightest hint of garlic flavor. The chicken was breaded nicely but not much for flavor and I needed a good amount of salt and grated parmesan to just eat the meal. My daughter had the family meal and the green beans had stem ends on them. The rest of her meal was ok. My husband had the chicken parmesan but the sauce had a bit of a metallic tin taste. My other daughter and mother in law had chicken broccoli alfredo which they seemed to like. There seemed to be a lack of flavor all the way around. The tiramisu was just ok, the cake was hard in it. Not sure what I'm missing here, but we probably won't be back.

Danielf Ferguson: I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about Russo in Worcester so I thought I’d give it a try . When you walk in it is very nice , down a few steps into an all brick seating area, great for a date or special gathering . There are several rooms and a bar area, which looks very, very nice.! The appetizers of Calamari, fried artichoke and homemade meatballs were very, very good , everyone gave them rave reviews! The meatball appetizer (3) were served in little cast iron skillets which was a great presentation and they were delicious ! Everyone raved about the Calamari. I got the chicken marsala, which had a very nice presentation, but after tasting it, it did lack some sweetness from the marsala wine, and it was kind of a white sauce which I’m used to having a more darker Marsala reduction sauce. The pasta with ricotta, good excellent reviews and look great. The chicken Parmesan looked OK but a little bland. The shrimp francaise looked nice but if came out looking like it was cooked all together and you had to cut out each piece of shrimp from the egg batter . I am a little fussy when it comes to chicken masala but honestly, they could’ve been much tastier yes, a darker, sweeter masala sauce was used, literally very little taste in the sauce. A great place to go for a date, etc. and I would definitely go back again which I will in the future. I also got a draft beer, which was good, but you know my experience, it was a small glass of beer.
Angela P: Great spot for a date. Really nice atmosphere, great drinks and food. Really enjoyed the space for something a little more "special". Prices were fair @amp_eats (instagram and Facebook)Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Joseph Kane: Atmosphere was good, food was tasteless and the zeppole's were burnt. Despite the steep price no effort was made by the staff to correct this, even when the food was returned with almost none eaten. Much better options for a better price.

Jason Brockway: We always love the food from Chiodas. Consistently good every time
Anne Telemaque: Very disappointed wait was very long as our Server mentioned their was a problem with the printer to the kitchen. Believe she forgot our order.
Andrew: Food is good, service not so much. Drink menu is abysmal.
Jim Carnevale: Place is amazing had the Italian pork chops ..they were amazing....
Frank J Esposito Jr: Excellent service and nice people!
C. DeVico: If I could give it 3.5 - 3.75 I would. Everything was better than average, but nothing outstanding. Beer selection is poor for these times. Their style of Parm is what I would call a 'wet' style, where the sauce makes the fried shell soggy, versus having any crunch to it. More of a personal expectation, but not really my favorite. Tiramisu was 'okay', I think my own is better.
Peter Ettenberg: Always a great dinner! Well worth a visit.
curt esposito: Eating at Chioda's is the closest I have come to eating in my mother's kitchen. It is very comfortable and homey. The atmosphere makes the food that much better.
Peter Brytowski: A old classic Italian atmosphere, and incredible cuisine. Surprisingly not busy on a Friday at 6 p.m. Maybe just a hidden gem.
Maria Cocker: Best restaurant I have ever been to. Atmosphere is cozy waitresses are very pleasant and attentive. Owner is friendly. The calamari was not just fried calamari it had a flavor that was absolutely delicious. The spaghetti sauce and the Marsala white was thick stuck to the pasta and was absolutely delicious. We were so full and had leftovers too. I can't wait to go back. We are picky eaters so it was a great experience for us to find a restaurant like this one.
Steve Mac: First visit definitely not last! Started with Calamari, it was as good as it gets. Taste of Italy was delish. My partner had a chicken pasta with white sauce, best sauce I ever tasted in town...yum! Too full to try dessert. Highly recommended!
Kathy Lynch: OMG our favorite Italian restaraunt in Worcester... We always say we are going to try something different and we end up ordering the same favorite thing we always do... we have brought so many friends with us and they absolutely love it here as well!

Stephanie Williams: I've been coming here for years and although they're not well know (which is why I like going there nice quiet, authentic dining place with comfortable/laid back ambiance) they have AMAZINGLY authentic Italian food. Like not microwave to plate and not frozen let's heat it up and serve. Always fresh...However, the last two times I went there the place wasn't very clean. The dishes were dirty and sticky, the cloth napkins were dirty (with pieces of food still on them) and the silverware was filthy. The food is great but for some reason the cleanliness of the place is atrocious lately. As much as I love the food I can't bring myself to go back there (even though it holds such sentimental value).
Mike Kujawski: Wonderful Italian food. Intimate restaurant with fantastic food and service. Excellent Excellent restaurant!!!
Todd H: Rarely does a restaurant live up to the hype that you see on TV. This one did.
Elaine Tiberii: First time eating here. The food was fantastic! Our group had chicken piccata, shrimp scampi, veal Parmesan and Taste of Italy…everyone was pleased. Our server was top notch too. Thanks to all at Chiodas for a great dinner!
Ellen Sturgis: We found it by Google search with no idea. Delighted in the traditional Italian fare, super nice staff, a wonderful family ambience. Food was great as well and we had plenty leftovers! Will make a point of going back again!
Marcia Oliver: Food was delicious and service was great.
Delaney Hanrahan: Very slow, didn’t get our drink for an hour

La Cucina Italiana: what do users think?
Janet Schwartz: Love the service and the homey atmosphere
alex Fontaine: For the money you spend an the portions you get, it’s not worth it. Not to mention over cooked calamari. I could of spent $30 elsewhere and actually been full after eating.
Sam Chipman: My first visit to this restaurant was several weeks ago with family. My dinner choice that afternoon was the Lasagna. It was a very good meal. Portion size was generous and appealing. Definitely worth the visit as it was recommended by family.Unfortunately, todays call in and pick up meal was on the opposite side of the spectrum. My toasted Chicken Parm sandwich was a total waste of waiting time and money. The chicken was either,1. Not watched and left in the fryer over its cooking time,or2. The frying oil needs to be changed/replaced, or3.The cook was new or needs to be retrained. The fried chicken was very dark and had the apperance of grocery store roast beef in the deli showcase. The inner chicken was dry with no taste. However the sandwich bread was decent. The marinara sauce was tasty. If and when I decide to call in a meal to pick up again. I will definitely inspect the meal before I walk out.I was unable to transfer the pictures I took to this review.

We went the night that you get 20% of your check as a gift card for a future visit that every Monday & Tuesday nights then Wednesday is buy one get one pizza Night ! Great atmosphere and drinks were good too
Michael Laske: Went there Sunday night with 13 people service very poor started out ordereing apps order 2 sausage ragoons and fried calamari after 25 minutes waitress came out said they only have 1 order of sausage ragoons left started to order dinner she said they are out of scallops and lobster with is what I was going to order asked for water had to ask again in 15 minutes because they never brang it after 1 1/2 hour findly got our dinners was not impressed with food very bad experience paid $600 dollars for very bad night don't recommend them
Sam Young: Went here expecting a great experience after hearing other people say that they liked it. We had a 5:30 reservation and didn't get our food until 7:30. The waitress was great and could tell that she was trying all she could to keep us content. I ordered a makers mark old fashioned that was just makers mark maraschino red cherries and some bitters. By the time we got our food we were so annoyed that we couldn't enjoy it. The stuffed shells were okay but under cooked and the meatballs were okay. My girlfriend got chicken Parm that was okay as well but didn't have much flavor. When we got there there was a larger party next to us that were very unhappy as well that must have been there much longer then us and got there food only shortly before we did. Would not recommend.

Christine Macey: So disappointing. My family of 3 went to celebrate all our January birthdays. To start we were seated in the bar area under a light that was constantly flickering. The bartender got our drinks but brought me the wrong wine, I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc and received a Cabernet Sauvignon, I like reds too so I just drank it. The food was good but I can’t believe an Italian restaurant would only have linguine and penne as their choices. The service was ok but no one asked if we wanted more drinks and we had to pile our plates up so they would be bussed out of the way. When the meal ended the server just dropped the check and was not offered dessert so we had to ask for dessert. My daughter ordered the m&m cookie sundae and they gave her a brownie sundae which she ate anyway. 1 or 2 of these things I can over look but there were just way too many issues. Long story short, we won’t be back.

Pat Campbell: It was a post funeral reception. Not a typical dining experience since it was a buffet service.Parking: Due to construction in area, restaurant provides courtesy valet parking.
Maryann Santella: The sevice was very sloooooow!!We waited an hour for our drinks to be served, an another hour for our entrees to be served. We always loved this place before Covid.
Joseph Ballotte: My wife and I met at Leo's almost 10 years ago now and we have been eating there regularly since. Leo's is one of the last of the original old world Italian restaurants in Worcester, and the food is fantastic. Same family since the beginning, just new generations. The red sauce is the best I've ever eaten. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Kayla Jenkins: Atmosphere was fine, the service was great. The quality of food vs price just didn’t line up. Food seemed like it was frozen, instant mashed potato’s, stuffed shrimp were cocktail shrimp.
Morgan Vizard: We have been to this restaurant twice now. First time was great other than the lack of attention the wait staff give you. But it was a busy day so we let it go.Easter Sunday they were open. So we decided to have a little date night the two of us. I wanted to try the Braised Short Ribs w/veg Risotto I saw last time. My Fiance had the Ribs.Horrible. Why on earth they charge $25 for a small chunk of what looked more like brisket than short ribs. The Risotto tasted old with bland vegetables. I didn't come close to finishing my meal. Way too much parsley or celery…idk but I was so disappointed. I figured it was $25 right so it mist taste great! Wrong. The ribs also looked old with fresh BBQ sauce on top. French Fries were probably the best thing. It wasn't busy when we got there. We were seated down at a booth. And was ignored for a solid 25 mins. Not one person took the time to even ask if we wanted drinks. Had to chase someone down.Idk what happened but we wont be going back. $80 later and I feel like our money would of been spent elsewhere.

Shantanu Patil: Good Italian fare. Better than chain restaurants. Looks like a local hangout place where everyone knows everyone. That gives a strange vibe where new patrons don't feel welcome. Hismastersvictrola: Went to 2 Chefs we got the Veal Parm and the Eggplant parm both were excellent + 2 sodas $57 with tax and tip. This was our 3nd time. Finally was able to park in the 1 Handycap parking spot. If I park in a regular spot I can't get my wheelchair out of the van !I know the city requires at least 2 Handycap spots but they only have one. For the convenience of there Handycaped customers they could at least have 2. Every time I've gone someone was in the 1 Handycap spot. 3 times out of 7 I was able to find a end spot for wheelchair access the other 4 visits we left and went to another restaurant. How much Bissnisses have they lost because of the Handycap parking? It's obvious that they don't care about their Handycaped customers but the food is excellent!Parking: 1 Handycap parking spot and 50 regular spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible bathroom and seating.
Jessica Luong: Relaxed atmosphere, good portions, decent pieces, good drinks. Fabulous staff!! I’d return!

Que Nguyen: I like the food here but I only ate at lunch. It's hard to find parking space at dinner time so I decided to order for take out. I found I could order via Grubhub. Paid for it, took a screen shot of the order # with my name, phone #, name of the food, & total cost. I went to the pick up counter. They asked to see my Grubhub app. I said I used Google map which led me to order via Grubhub. I showed them the screen shot with all the info and my ID. They still asked to see the Grubhub app! After raising my voice, they decided to give me the bag of food that has the receipt which looks exactly like my screen shot! Where is the common sense of "what's your name? And phone #?" because I was asked that when I placed the order! Needless to say, I won't order take out again from this place...and probably won't come back for lunch either! Bad service.
Jonathan Lavallee: Great experience here twice… one time eating and one time getting late night drinks at the bar. The place has a nice homey vibe. The food was a great value. The portions were on the larger side and price point was low. The bolognese was simple and good… nothing mind blowing, but for ~$15, it was a fantastic value and I was satisfied. The second time we went, we got some drinks at the bar. We were happily surprised to see the bar open at almost midnight and we were welcomed with a warm greeting from the bartender. I forget his name as it’s been a few months but I think he had previously worked at table twelve in west boylston. Nice guy and a true gentleman. He was very friendly and we had great conversation and laughs. He made us some of the best crafted drinks (some of their winter specials) we’ve had in a while. Seek this place out… you won’t be disappointed.
Lil LaPensee: Very very good especially the Eggplant Rotitini!!

Michael DeGrange: Well, initially waiter started with am excellent personality and welcoming attitude, unfortunately not sure if it was the kitchen or waiter but the never ending soup wasn't because it didn't come until well, well after I received my entrée and others were still waiting on their soup. I was done eating and her soup finally arrived. So the never ending soup was just a single bowl due to the timing. My food was delicious but even when it arrived it was luke warm at best. We go to Olive Garden alot and know this isn't the norm.

Aparna L: We had a bad experience here on multiple visits. Once, I found a piece of white plastic spoon on my pasta order. On two occasions, they brought pasta with meat sauce by mistake when we actually ordered pasta with marinara sauce. We stopped going to the Worcester location. The framingham location is much better when it comes to service, atmosphere as well as the food itself.

Ellen M. Goldsmith: I came here with my spouse for my sister-in-law's 70th birthday. We were seated in an alcove, which made the eating experience cozy. We had several appetizers. They were all good. The main entrees were chicken Parmigiana (okay), chicken picata (good), shrimp skewers scampi (so so), and other Italian dishes. For dessert, a supermarket cake was sliced for all 8 ppl.

philip drapos: Fantastic Italian Restaurant in Worcester!. Delicious meal, plentiful portions and a great value. Hard to say that these days. Starter house salad was excellent, served cool and crisp and perfectly dressed. I had the eggplant Parmagian which was great: sliced thin, tender and not drowning in cheese. We also had the parpadelle bolognese. Pasta cooked perfectly Al dente but not too firm, and the pork and beef Ragu was great: Not too heavy but definitely hearty and tasty. Both meals served piping hot and cooked to order. Service was excellent and friendly. Love the old school vibe. Definitely one of the best on Shrewsbury Street. Will be back.
Tim Ruston: Amazing food, great staff and service. Absolutely would return and suggest. However one star is removed due to being a bit crowded and no changing station in bathrooms.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

A quaint and well-loved location, definitely try it out if you're looking to get some delicious red sauce and gain like 5 lbs at dinner (I mean this in the best way possible...you won't be able to stop eating its so great!).
