They wanted 1.2k for the locket and chain.I came to Pleasant Pawn Shop and got exactly what I was looking for $350, NO JOKE! Plus with our daughters birthstone on the locket, and they had it in stock in the store!lm glad I walked into Pleasant Pawn Shop today! The owner was there and dealt with me personally and even talked me out of spending more on another piece that i would have had to wait to be delivered. Walk in here before you make a purchase elsewhere! These guys are legit!

Audrey Valley: Walked into Empire Loan to get a loan on my laptop. Per the Empire Loan website, Google, etc.this particular location closes at 6:00pm. After driving 55 minutes to get there, I was in the store at 5:32pm and was told to come back on Monday because they stop taking "items like mine" conveniently at 5:30pm. The boy that was assisting me asked if I'd been there before and yes, I had, several times. He then said he meant to ask if I have ever loaned my laptop there before. Well no, I haven't. He was quick to respond with, "oh yup, we can't do now then because we close at 6pm". He couldn't give me a reason why, but would ask someone in the back room. At this point I'd like to mention, from when I entered the store at 5:32 and up to this point, there was NO other customer in the store. So several minutes go by and then out slumps a slow- moving, disheveled looking man from "the back room" who called himself the "assistant manager". He was well prepared with an answer to my question..he said the reason why they stop taking laptops (specifically laptops) at 5:30 is because of how busy they are at the end of the day. WAIT, WHAT? I looked behind me expecting to see at least 1 other person, but nope...I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE STORE from the time I walked in at 5:32 to when I left at 5:53. I couldn't help but laugh and chalked this experience up to horrible customer service, LAZINESS, and a non-existent work ethic. Good luck getting anywhere in life boys.

luca king: I stopped in a while back. Had a Gary Fisher mountain bike that sold for $2000 dollars, less than three months old. The guy I talked to told me $50, he also told me Walmart had a contract to start selling Gary Fisher bikes in a few months. Naturally, I walked... sold it a few days later for $1700. I know pawn shops are not known to be reputable but, wow... talk about scamming?Walmart still/never has/never will sell high end mountain bikes.

For the past 22 years we have used the services and products from this store and have saved money. In one case we had power serge and the tech department for their computers recovered all of our data. I feel the excellent service is very valuable and they certainly a very friendly and courteous staff. One thing for sure, we do not need The Best Buy Store when we have the Money Stop and Computer store as a working partner.

Greg Simpson: I bought 13 ounces of silver at the money stop, gave 3 away as a birthday gift, than in was tight on cash and brought the remaining ten to a silver dealer only to find out they were all fake. The money stop does not test the silver they buy and sell. I am beyond pissed off that I got fake silver, and worse, I gave 3 to my brother for his birthday. Why don't they test the silver they buy. I lost money and faith in people., if u buy silver there ask to see proof that it is real. My inexperience cost me. Karma...

Michael Grajales: I was in a tight jam and needed to come up with 300$ i brought one of my guitars to them. I had got it about 2 months earlier and cost me 500$ i brought it to him he offered me 15$ i was like what? I told him i brought a few things before. He raised it to 20$. I brought the guitar to a local music store and they gave me 175$ and later came back and saw it listed for 300$. So I couldn't believe i had gotten an offer of 15$. I will never return to this place again. They're prices are so outrages Its like paying retail.
