JOSE NIVAR: I do not like the way the secretaries of that center give customer service, they have been very inconsiderate with my children and with me despite the time we have been there. I missed an appointment because they agreed to send me a reminder and they did not do it and the other appointment I told him that I needed for the afternoon for the children's school and he did not see the interest to help me, please, what I told them and at the end what they told me I had to find another dentist. I would never recommend it.

After 7 years of being happy, reliable clients, they chose to put a bill for covered services into collections rather than follow instructions directly from myself or my insurance company on how to complete the claim. Dr. Vera is lovely but rude office staff (who hung up on me repeatedly) and incompetent billing personnel ruin the experience.

D Fox: Brought my 5yo daughter here on 9/16/20 & was told she has 8 cavities, 2 teeth to pull out, 4 to put crowns on, 2 to fill which seemed a lot of work for a 5yo but i too thought it’s an investment towards better dental health for her in the future. She was in pain daily & to do all at once we (Dr. Vera & I) agreed to do all at once with anesthesia. They asked us to pay two weeks in advance for the full amount for the work needed to be done or they would cancel our much needed appointment for a child in pain. We’d never heard of a clinic with such ludicrous policy especially given the fact they would not give us a pre-estimate from the insurance. I reluctantly paid (after arguing with my husband that waiting to find & book appt with another dentist would cause our daughter more pain) as Linda kept pressuring me to either pay immediately or she’d cancel the appointment & my heart was breaking seeing my child in pain a few times a day from a huge cavity that needed immediate attention or it would get infected/worse. They kept saying its taking long because they sent it by mail. Linda, the very rude, condescending, unprofessional office manager who shuts the patients’ parents up the second they ask a legitimate question about the cost of their dental work & other important details about their child’s dental care, first said they sent pre-estimate via mail hence it being late coming back. Then on a later day, Josie (?) the equally rude, unprofessional insurance coordinator with zero empathy & awfully cold demeanor, rudely informed me that pre-estimate was “sent Electronically” on same day as first visit with Dr. Vera. Shamelessly, unethically lying & caught in the lie, neither Linda or Josie apologized but kept hanging up when i asked them to explain why they wouldnt give us the pre-estimate of what insurance would approve of & cover. They got so annoyed, Linda flat out told me that she discussed with Dr. Vera & they decided that if i dont trust them i should go & take my business elsewhere as they were canceling our upcoming appointment (in two days) we had already paid for & my daughter very much needed to rid her of the constant pain. I begged them, implored them as j sat outside in my car to not to do that to a child in pain & i was shocked/disgusted with the lack of empathy, let alone professionalism. She hung up on me, once more! I called back asking to let me in to sign a form of release of records to another dentist so i could speed things up but they told me to go home & they would mail it. I stayed there telling them they were being cruel to a child who’d wait needlessly for a few more days/weeks to just get seen by a new dentist. At that point i didnt even trust Dr. Vera because regardless of her dental skills, she too was showing lack of professionalism & empathy allowing/asking her staff to treat her patients in such a way for absolutely no good reason. We, as parents, act in ways we never thought we would when desperate to see our kids in better health. I dont regret trying so desperately to get my daughter dental care from Dr. Vera because she was one of the few dentists around that work with patients needing anesthesia and also booked us relatively fast but under the circumstances I would never ever trust or go to a healthcare provider after experiencing firsthand the lack of professionalism ethics and empathy not to mention their ludicrous, 3rd world country, “pay-up-front or no-care” policy.

We wish we could give 6 + Stars!First off regarding our experience, the initial phone calls were so helpful and informative, they got us in for an exam the next day. When we arrived with our 5 year old son, the assistants and staff were immediately making him laugh and smile with jokes. Their office is incredibly clean and futuristic.You can tell Dr. Moheban takes extra care to ensure the office space is upgraded and cutting edge, it can't be cheap for them to make such a nice office, but they do and it shows.We went there knowing our son had cavities, after a horrendous experience at the previous pediatric dentist in Auburn, Dr. Moheban met with us and assured us he would give our son the care he deserved. We were able to ask a lot of questions and after looking at our son's mouth Dr. Moheban expressed confidence in our son's ability to get his cavities fixed without General Anesthesia.Hearing this was amazing, the last dentist had no such confidence and was horrible when discussing a treatment plan.Dr. Moheban's office and staff wrote up an extremely thoughtful treatment plan with prices for us as we move forward and got us in the next day for a cavity filling.Our son arrived the following day and was greeted once again with kind faces, voices, and reassured throughout the process. They communicated with our son and treated him wonderfully.Our son got his cavity filled without issue and it was such a breathe of fresh air compared to our experience at the Auburn Dentist that my wife and I cried. We were so proud of him and so happy to see him treated well.If you're looking for Children Dentistry, stop looking and take your kids here.We're so thankful for all of the staff and we look forward to our dental journey with our two little ones for the forseeable future with Dr. Moheban.

Letisha Harris: I went in with a concern about my daughter’s tooth coming in crooked and found out she had both a tied lip and tied tongue. The procedure to release both was done the next day after extensive conversation and explanation with the Dentist, Dr. Dan and his team. They made sure my insurance would cover it first and told me the out of pocket costs before the procedure. There were two follow up visits and the staff was always available for my calls and questions.

Timothy Westerman: I would not recommend using this practice. My son has had a cavity for several months and they cancelled his appointment several times. This is understandable given the current COVID situation. However, they have a "policy" that requires an appointment for an exam even though they have already confirmed the presence of a cavity, if several months have lapsed between appointments. In order for them to fill the cavity, I have to first schedule an appointment for an exam, then wait another 3-6 months before they can fill the cavity. I reluctantly agreed to this once, and they once again cancelled my appointment forcing me to succumb to their strict policy once again.I would highly suggests finding a dental practice that places their patients well being over office policy.

This place is the best kid’s dental office in Worcester and you can believe us, as we’ve been to a few of the competitors... and there’s really no competition. Benefit of location on Plantation St. vs Park Ave/Downtown greatly reduces traffic.Covid has totally changed the dental landscape as they are a now a high-risk biz and somehow despite that and all the safety requirements they must meet, CDS remains welcoming... something that unfortunately cannot be said about some offices.This place is high tech, equipped with the latest dental tools, is completely spotless and best of all every single staff member we’ve come across is kind and connects with the kids- which is severely lacking at other Worcester dental offices and can make a huge difference for the experience ESPECIALLY with young children. The paperwork is online, I’ve yet to pick up a pen in the office. The desk staff is fast and super proactive and will text you reminders and info and are always friendly and professional; they are so prompt it’s kind of amazing actually even when they are busy.Dr. Dan himself is just simply brilliant and knows his stuff- he found some subtle differences in my middle son’s mouth and immediately referred us to a specialist to help. No one else noticed these things and it makes so much sense. The best part is he is communicative and receptive to all questions. What started out as an appointment for a brief second opinion has turned into our new office. This is the place to be!

Mrs. Lisette made the impossible possible by squeezing both my children in last minute and at the same time!! Dr.Moheban is wonderful! If my 5 year old went into the room and came out smiling from ear to ear then they are doing EVERYTHING RIGHT! Great teamwork y'all! Thank you!

Ana Cristina Kaizer: Update:Wanted to update because the office reached out to me via phone personally apologizing for the whole situation. Stating that it should never have happened and that they have been through several trainings since then to make sure their patients are treated fairly and they refunded me the $50 that I had paid. Even though I was treated that way at first, they reached out to apologize so I appreciate that.***I have never been so poorly treated by a dentist/health office. I needed to cancel an appointment for my younger daughter because I just had a baby and when I called they said they needed to call a manager and she threatened to remove my daughter from their practice and charged me $50. A few weeks later I get a letter saying I had a past due balance of more than 90 DAYS!!! & if I didn’t pay within 30 days they would charge us $25 on top plus attorney and collection fees. It had only been a few weeks and I was going to pay. Looks like all they want is the money- I would not trust my child with them ever again! So disappointed. No respect for your patients whatsoever. Its too bad because it’s a nice looking place and the dr was nice- but seems like they only want the money.

Steve Burns: Dr Mohebon and his team are simply amazing. Both of my children leave there with a smile every single time (pun intended!) and keep asking if they can go back (like they had just gone to Disney World or some other fun activity). That is no easy task and I commend Dr Mohebon for creating such a great atmosphere. Oh yeah, his dental skills are the best in the business too! If you don't yet know about Dental Children's Specialities, it's time you find out!

Andrea C: Back in July I took my son to his regular check up. They told me that he MIGHT have a cavity; to make sure he brushes and floss which I always make him do every morning and Bedtime. Two months after I noticed a weird smell coming from his mouth. I decided to do a follow up just to make sure the cavity was not getting worse. I bring him back to the dentist and I couldn't believe what I was hearing . "Your son had 7 cavities and he was going to need two root canals" unbelievable how they did not catch this two months ago. I am not an expert in the dentist field but how can you go from Might have to he has 7!!! Is it a SCAM??? That's how you guys make money stealing from insurance companies . Good luck but this is not going to be my case!!!!!!
