Holly Young: We bought a new home with an indoor pool. I scheduled John to come at 10 am on the 13th. He never showed. I called and called and left messages. Finally, 4 days later, on Wednesday someone answered Fidelity’s phone. It was John. He’s gone a week before he was scheduled to go to the house. He knocked on all the doors and when no one answered, he left. He never called me at any point during the next 10 days to find out why (he was a week early and we didn’t own the home). No one called me back from any of my messages. I can’t believe how unprofessional.

Kate McEvoy: Booked this guy 3 weeks out.More expensive with less services included but my usual place couldn’t come for several more weeks (this is my first in-ground pool so I needed someone to open for me and walk through what needs to be done). Had no problem with cost.Said no way he could give me a specific date/time unless we booked out to May 21. We did just that.One week before appt he came to scope out pool. Called to tell me status and I said, we will do whatever needs to be done, just let us know. He said (arrogantly) that step one was to get the pool open. I reminded him that we scheduled this already and the date/time. He didn’t seem to remember but recovered ok. Mentioned that none of the other stuff that needed to be done was covered in cost, I said ok, let’s just do it.Appointment day comes. I leave work to be at house as we had agreed upon. Fidelity Pools doesn’t show.Doesn’t answer phone.I finally get a call back at 11:50 asking if he could come tomorrow or Saturday. Told him I couldn’t and this was the whole point of booking the time. Told me to go book with someone else.So I did.I highly recommend Surfside pools. They seem great.

Carl Bowman: A 5-Star pool service. We have been using Fidelity for 7 years and we have never looked back. We have an indoor pool we use year-round with our kids, grandchildren and friends. Our pool is not an easy monster to keep a handle on. Our pool is cared for on a bi-weekly basis and we have never had a major issue of any kind other than minor maintenance repairs. Fidelity has kept our pool in tip top shape. We have never had an issue they could not fix promptly; never an excuse. We had the built in the 1996 and Jonathan has replaced the liner and retrofitted the entire system to be completely automated and work with a remote control, smart phone and windows apps. We have only had a few experiences with companies this conscientious and professional.We were on a family vacation most of the month of February and our caretaker contacted us, Fidelity (we travel extensively, and Jonathan has keys to the house) and several HVAC companies as to an issue with high humidity levels in the pool section of the house. Fidelity showed up within an hour on a Friday afternoon. No other company was available until Monday at the earliest. Turns out a “Stink-Bug” got in the switch for the dehumidifier and prevented proper operation. He bypassed the switch, lowered the humidity and replaced the switch the very next day (Saturday). Due to the rapid response and knowledge of the system, we have returned from vacation to our home that hasn’t been destroyed by rot and water damage. Because Jonathan continues to give the best customer service, we felt compelled to write a review and share our wonderful experience with Fidelity Pool Service.

Ryan Send: I am only leaving 1 star because that is the minimum. The most unprofessional pool service in Worcester. After failing to finish the job they kept promising to finish the job but could never get to it. The owner is so full of himself don’t dare to ask any questions. Just move on and try someone that understands customer service. I can’t stress enough that that they seem professional but when it comes down to it they are just incompetent.

From the very beginning Matt has been great to work with & provides all of the services we need to operate/maintain our pool. One thing you cannot place a price tag on is someone's professionalism & responsiveness to the client. There have been several occasions where we had questions & Matt never hesitated to answer them. Our pool is open year round & we just lost power on the coldest day of the year. I was able to reach out to Matt early on a Sunday & almost immediately he responded. We stayed in touch all morning until the power came back on & all systems were functioning properly. For these reasons among others, I highly recommend Solstice Pool & Spa. Thanks Matt!

Karen McMonagle: ‘Fun in the Sun Pools’ without a doubt, receives a 5+ star rating from us. Deciding to put in a built in pool was a big decision for us. What I did not anticipate was that the decision on who to hire, to put the pool in, was going to be an even bigger and harder, more complicated decision and one being certainly initially, more frustrating. I had researched and contacted ALL of the local and even not so local swimming pool installers. I called (and called) left messages, looked online, asked around and researched everything I could find extensively. One pool installer told me we had to attend a seminar before he would even consider taking us on as a client, one told me he does not do anything but the pool, we would have to hire out for everything else, but he would sub-contract if necessary and as he put it, ‘it will cost us’, one answered the phone but would never commit to anything, others never answered or called back weeks later and then you hear the horror stories. Our neighbor had used ‘Fun in the Sun Pools’ (from Stroudsburg) and their pool turned out beautiful, so I called. The owner came, explained everything, we liked what we heard and we signed and we thought, oh boy, what did we just do. But this company, family run, handles everything, from submitting the permits, to the electrical, plumbing, concrete and everything beyond but what we were so incredibly impressed with was the work ethic and professional standards this company demonstrates. I was told when they would show up, and what they would do, and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. The workmanship and quality of their work shows and they left every day with everything neat and clean. We had people tell us they never even knew that we were having work done. IF you are considering installing an inground pool, without a doubt, this would be the ONLY company I would recommend. The owner Manny will sit with you, work with you, provide guidance if you need it, but most importantly, is committed, to you, to the quality of the pool he is delivering, to his employees even, you can see it.
