jesse travers: I have used DiLeo Gas for about 5 years and whether it’s calling for a refill or getting some service done they simply cannot be beat. Recently we needed our tanks filled and moved due to new electric box being installed for solar panels, the tanks got filled prior to the move and the techs (Kenny and Bucky) made no qualms about it. They simply got the job done, ran a new beautiful line and got my tanks leveled and in a safe area. This is all within 24 hours of a phone call. If you’re in the central Mass or Northern CT area I would only recommend them.
Leo Kremer: Russ Wright and DiLeo gas delivered as promised. I have been in contact with them for over a month when i decided to convert from oil to propane. Russ walked me through the process and explained all the costs associated. On the day of my furnace install, they were here installing my new propane tank and then it was filled a half hour later. It was a seamless transition.

diana wentworth: I was away in Spain when the cold snap came and was worried that our propane furnace backup for our Lennox heat pump would run out of propane. I emailed to get a fill up . I immediately got a response although it was too cold to deliver. They delivered on a Sunday a day ahead of my ticketed Monday delivery. I was thrilled . There was an admin error where I was supposed to be on automatic delivery vs will call .I'm on will call Spring/Summer as well as the small 50 gal in the front all the time and then go automatic with the 2 big tanks on the side of house when I call back in the Fall.It was taken care of and tanks were filled fairly prompt.
Kevin Roach Jr.: Literally the only propane supplier that have refused to fill my tanks. I had 3 30 lb tanks told me it's against the law. I have my Hazmat and I also am very familiar with the law and it is exactly 90 lb limit in an enclosed vehicle. Needless to say I won't be going back. I guess that's what I get for trying to find a place on my way home and not sticking to what I know.

They always delivered within a day or two. Being here a few years now they know my usage so they have me scheduled for deliveries automatically. No issues at all and it is convenient to just pay the bill online. What is there not to like?
Nathan Brodeur: We recently purchased a new home in Putnam Connecticut that had a propane tank from this company. I was very unfamiliar with propane up until this point. I called their customer service and they were excellent to deal with. They answered every one of my questions and guided me through the billing process. Suddenly today I spoke with a man called Tony claiming to be the manager in Worcester MA. He was very Rude and shortcoming with me, I tried to inquire about this sudden poor customer service, he intimidated me into backing down from my position and he refused to listen to my concerns, he then said go find another company if you don’t like our way. WHAT?? I am unhappy and disgusted. Finding another oil company is easy, but losing a loyal customer is Stupid.

Maribeth Lynch: We had what we thought was no heat early on a Saturday morning. We placed a call to Pioneer and a pleasant girl answered and assured us someone would call back shortly. Within minutes, Ben called and we talk through the issue. He said he would be there in 20 minutes, and sure enough he was! It ended up that our tenant had turned off the oil switch, so what could have been a real no heat call, was really just a waste of time for the poor technician. But, he handled it in stride, was so easy to deal with and wonderful I can not even express our thanks to him. In a world of grumpy people, who are dealing with so much stress, Ben was the epitome of professional. He has worked on our boiler in the past, and has always been prompt, knowledgeable and polite. Thank you so much for providing 5 star service, we greatly appreciate it!

Amy Pietrewicz: Very disgruntled customer after nearly twenty years. Joe from Pioneer gave me a highly inflated quote for a new boiler. I used a competitor instead, but kept Pioneer for oil out of loyalty. When the Pioneer tech came to service the brand new boiler, the nozzle was adjusted to use more oil, he spilled oil on some items, and broke the gauge on my oil tank--none of which Pioneer will own up to or repair now. They also never notified me they were using such a high percentage of biofuel, which gummed up the readjusted nozzle and caused the brand new boiler to leak out and flood my basement during a cold snap last winter. The customer service staff that answers the phones are not helpful and I have been "dumped" as a customer after filing a complaint with the BBB.

Jay Zel: I have been struggling with this horrible economy and i went to order propane and CK only does minimum of 100 gallons.. UNLESS you are almost full and dont need the 100 gallons. they wont let me order 50 gallons. So I guess my family and i will eat cold food, wear dirty laundry and have no showers until we have 640 dollars to buy the full 100 gallons. They wouldn't even let me pay half now and half next week! Thanks CK Smith for providing outstanding service for your customers. its unprecedented!

He worked efficiently and was very willing to explain what he was doing and why. Bob Dee: Recently had the bearings on my furnace blower replaced, it had been screeching and keeping me awake at night for over a year. CK had done some work previously but it only was a temporary fix. I held off on the replacement because I couldn't afford it. When it was finally repaired, CK did it for free. They are absolutely great and I have been with them for over 50 years. They always provide a fair deal and excellent service.
John Dowd: I discovered recently that I didn't receive my yearly maintenance service call, though I pay every year for the service contract, and that it was my fault for not calling CK Smith. That seems a backward way to do business to me! I paid for a service I did not get.

Lorraine Kanter: Peter was very thorough and friendly/professional. While doing my annual boiler tune-up, he discovered that I needed a new oil pump as there was a leak inside the burner after troubleshooting cause. He changed it out, as part of his visit, along with usual tune-up parts. Unfortunately, there was also a problem with the fuel supply line (cracks in it) that were not known at the time. The following business day, Ed came out, and after additional troubleshooting, swapped out the supply line part and also changed out the nozzle and oil pump again. No more leaks! Friendly techs! As this was my first tune-up service as a new customer, it was even nicer as my service plan was free, and all parts and labor covered at no cost to me!

flecour1016: Doug was our technician for our yearly furnace maintenance today and he was *wonderful*. Super-friendly, super-efficient, professional, and very pleasant to deal with. We've always had great service from all the CK Smith technicians, but Doug stood out today. He recommended replacing a part that wasn't covered by our service contract (the name of which I can't recall) but it's an integral part of having our furnace run efficiently and it was showing signs of wear and tear after 21 years. We truly appreciate his pro-activeness in doing so, and also greatly appreciate only having to pay for the part (a nominal cost), and not the labor to install it. A middle-of-the-night call to do so would cost much more as he advised, so it was wise to replace it now.We're going to request Doug as our technician for the yearly maintenance from now on. Give the man a raise! ... just sayin' ;-)Cheers and happy holly-days!

Adrian and Russ worked together through system and logistical issues to get us taken care of. Cannot thank them enough for their efforts in making it work. Thank you!!
Carl Cervini: On a slippery, icy morning, I had to rent a van to pick up some lumber at HD. I changed the order so I needed a bigger truck to handle the load. I called while at HD and explained my situation. They said no problem come on back and switch trucks. They had the paperwork and the new truck ready and waiting to go. They were all very professional from the first day counter girl to the General Manager of the store. Thanks for making the day a little easier. Great job!
Jeff Rezende: Probably the worst location I’ve ever dealt with. I had a half day rental and I was charged for 4 full days. I’ve been on the phone with customer service AND the worcester location’s manager a total of 7 times combined and I never received my money or a call back. Customer service closed the case multiple times without resolving the issue. Stay away from this location.

Isaac Dube: If I could leave zero stars I would. The manager at this place is awful! I made a reservation and upon arrival I was very rudely told my drivers license was fake and that they would not rent me a van. My license was issued in 2018 and does not expire until next year. I had to call the Worcester police station, have an officer show up and confirm my license was valid before they would rent to me. Over an hour of my time wasted.Throughout this whole process I tried my best to stay level headed, never even raising my voice. However the manager was rude, dismissive, and has no business working in customer service. After the the officer confirmed my license was real and simply an older version, she didn’t even apologize. She doubled down by taking a photo of me and my id on her personal cell phone and insisting she did that with every customer.Uhaul corporate if you actually read these reviews, it’s time to trim the FAT. This woman is costing your business money.

Johanna Lolax: The Belmont Street site has consistently refused to serve me. I am disabled and walk with a cane, and I had to rely on my husband to reserve a large unit for our temporary storage purposes. When we visited today to close out the unit, we were refused an inspection and a receipt for the closeout, though we are paid to date. There were no other customers in the store or onsite when we were there, and there were two employees available who were not busy - one was simply standing by a stack of boxes. But both refused - repeatedly - to walk across the street to our unit with us to inspect the unit so that we could remove our lock without worry of unauthorized use. When we were refused a receipt for closeout, we were told we had to return in 4 hours when the storage facility clerk would be in. This site had been great on customer serve for years, but this year, the service under new management has been extremely poor. There are other local UHaul sites and other storage and van rental firms in Worcester and other nearby towns. Save yourself the frustration, and use another firm.
Holly Williams: Staff was extremely unprofessional. Their radio system was on loud for all to hear and while I checked in, my wife pulled around back to the trailers. Clearly over the radio I hear “Some N****r out here trying to back up to the trailers, I’m about to call the cops on them” and the ladies at the front just laughed it off. They continued to joke back and forth with derogatory comments on the radio while I was being checked out while I could hear everything. They also continued to say derogatory comments around my wife while hooking up the trailer. Then they hooked us up to a trailer that before we left the lot found was coated with mud on the inside. In addition our lights were not working and they said “are you driving at night” we said no and they said it shouldn’t be a problem. Finally, we asked for a different trailer that was clean and they agreed to change it for us. They hooked up the chains wrong, which we discovered and fixed ourselves. The only good thing was that it turned out it was our electrical adapter that was causing the lights not to work and they ended up giving this to us for free. So some redemption at the end but a very rough road to start.

Even went the extra mile to ensure my keyless sensor was relocated to not impact performance. All-in-all highly recommended. Keep up the great work!

Yes. Do I feel like a valued customer? No. Do the folks at uhaul care? Absolutely not.Uhaul is the worst.

Suzanne: If this is the location near the hospitals on lake Ave than I had a great experience each time I have encountered dealing with the employees at Uhaul , entering my space and paying both in person and setting up online services. I called the same day and was able to secure a space for extra things for a family member. The parking is a bit of an issue but for the price I think if you pull around to the storage pods you can either cross the street or use Google to see if the times are less busy ! Setting up pre pay is an awesome choice to avoid the traffic and parking situation. All I all I am very happy her and inside the actual facility the area is impeccable. Not one spec of dirt or dust. The floors shine like a mirror and lights go on as you proceed along the path toward your bin. I recommend Uhaul as a place to rent and use for temporary storage.

Gayle Gillis: So we are on automatic delivery and have been since we bought our new home in Uxbridge ma now yesterday my husband sees we are down to 20 percent in our propane tank he called and was promised a delivery today no delivery when we got home tonight I called was on hold 35 min and was assured I would get a call no call yet and it’s 40 min now we now are down to under 15 percent no propane and snow is coming tomorrow BAD customer service very bad no they say they won’t deliver unless we are completely out so now upon waking in the morning our heat will be off snd it’s a snow storm I hope everyone that reads this uses another company besides you

Petro Home Services: what do users think?
Tony: I don't understand the bad review. Our experience was 5 STARS. On a very cold, snowy Saturday morning, our heating/AC system stopped blowing hot air. It was freezing in the house. We called 3 other "24/7" HVAC companies, and Petro was the only one that answered the phone - 7:08 AM.The Customer Service rep was sympathetic to our plight. We did not have an account with Petro, having come off of install warranty with another provider. She set us up with an Service account, and explained it was an initial $69.95 diagnostic fee, which I found very reasonable, for not being normal customer, and calling in on the fly. She also mentioned that they did have maintenance agreements if we were interested in the future, but she did not go in for the hard sell. She was wonderful on the phone.She dispatched the On-Call technician - 7:28 AM. The Petro tech called to confirm our address at 7:42 AM, said he'd get someone out there ASAP and the Petro truck pulled into our driveway at 8:01 AM.Brad from Petro, arrived in uniform, wearing a Covid19 mask, and was very friendly. He went right to work. Our central heat/air unit is in the attic, not an easy place to get to. He went up & down the ladder a couple of times, out to the truck, and back to the attic. Hot air started blowing out the vents soon after. He found a bad sensor and replaced it wicked quick. I asked how much I owed him, and he said the office would send us a bill. He was out that door at 8:51 AM. That's less than 2 hours from 1st phone call to a job complete. That's amazing response time.I would defiantly call this company again for any of my heating, AC or plumbing needs. Tony & Heather, Worcester, MA
Greg Branch: If I could give them 0 stars I would. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs!... Issue #1. They automatically bill you for " Premier Agreement" Cost for 1 YEAR= $310.85. Issue #2 Just got a delivery of oil 144 gallons = $447. $447 is more than 2x's what local oil companies are charging at this time! Then when I call to understand why they charged me 2x's the current rate they said " Because we are a full service company we charge more" LOL. Ok so I am subsidizing your full service company so you can pay oil techs, plumbers and who knows who else just in case I need them? When I asked if I pay double what local companies charged do I get those " Full services for free?" The answer was .......wait for it...."of course not"...We would charge you the full price of the service"? Think over that business model....
David Jong: Their prices for oil are outrageous (they never charged me less than $3.09 even when higher-taxed pump diesel was $2.69. I just ordered from a competitor for $1.95), they top off too often (effectively charging you for 200 gallons on your initial fill that you'll never get to use) and they will not suspend auto-fill if you signed up for that. They also continue delivering and billing even after the contract expires if you don't explicitly tell them to stop.
James Hughes: Shady company, avoid. I was told I'd be in a no contract service andwould have only 2 scheduled oil deliveries. I called to cancel after the 2nd delivery. A month later, they delivered again, after I had received 2 deliveries from my new company. They had no delivered since November and suddenly I get a new delivery in March after cancelling. I called to dispute and they claim it was never cancelled and they couldn't find a recording of my call. Shady business. I recommend Alliance oil.
