Jared Stenquist: I would recommend NE Spas to anyone in the market for a spa. Their team was very knowledgeable and had a no pressure sales process. Their delivery team (Augie, Dylan, Anthony) and their recommended electrician (Brian Bradley Electric) were both outstanding and took the time to walk us through operation of the spa. A+.

Jeff Brooks: SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS A TOTAL SCAM.I'm updating this review... While the sales experience 4 years ago was great, the service now is AWFUL. My heatimg element went out, spa only heats to 77 degrees. I went through the troubleshooting guide for Sundance and landed at a bad heating element. I called NE spas and had them open a service. Viviana called me. She was not at all interested in what the issue was. She was only interested in getting a credit card number. I did not feel comfortable and got off the phone with her. A few days later a Jarod called to follow up. He was much more caring, listening to my issue, explaining that they send a tech out and $250 fee they charge up front includes an hour of service. I explained that I was ok with that if the tech would have on their truck parts to fix the issue and that this was a heating element. Jarod reassured me that they carried parts with them and could resolve most issue but "IF THEY COULDN'T, AND HAD TO COME BACK, I WOULD NOT BE BILLED THE $249 AGAIN"The tech came out on Wednesday. He did not call me to explain what he found, nor make any attempt to fix it. He simply sent me a quote to come back and replaced the heater at a later date and yup, you guessed it, that quote included ANOTHER $249.I then called the store to discuss and unfortunately got Viviana again who basically just over talked me the whole time and said the original $249 was a diagnostic fee and the additional $249 was for the work. I recounted my conversation with Jarod where I had said I was NOT OK with that and she basically just said too bad. I then asked to talk to a manager and she said "they were all in meetings" and that she would send an email to have them call me. That was at noon. Now it's 6:30 and they're closed. No call back. Absolutely awful customer service.The sales side of this business is good but the service department is a total scam. The parts are heavily marked up- more than 2x what you can buy them for on the internet AND more importantly they absolutely lie to you to get that initial $249 charged to your credit card.PREVIOUS REVIEW FROM 4 YEARS AGO..Great overall experience! We stopped in and talked to Denise Orwat. She helped us work through the options and features that fit our needs and wants. She then put together a detailed quote for us. The price was reasonable so we ordered it. As it was being shipped from the factory Denise quoted us a 6-8 week lead time. At almost exactly six weeks, Denise emailed me to schedule the delivery. Despite a recent snow storm, the guys still showed up as scheduled and managed to get the hottub around the house and into our back yard. They also hauled away our two dysfunctional hottubs. I stopped by the store today to pick up our free chemicals. Joe spent a good amount of time with me discussing which chemicals were essential, which were optional and which he felt we didn't need based on our intended usage. He then showed how to open the filter and fill and treat the hottub on one of the floor models. These guys are really committed to making sure you have a great hottub experience! Thanks NE Spas!!

Patrick and Dave have been our guys and they have taking great care of us. Can’t recommend this business highly enough if you have a spa.

Christian (crew leader), Shaun, and Nick did a great job removing my 17 year old Optima spa and replacing with a new Optima. Very professional from start to finish. I would recommend NE Spa to all.

Brian Hanks: Jeff Meunier was my salesman. Excellent knowledge. He helped me choose the spa that fit my needs. He has answered all my questions, even after installation. He also took my hardscape contractor's calls to ensure the cement pad and electrical connections were where they need to be and the correct dimensions. Would buy from Jeff again.

Kaitlyn Klosterman: My husband and I have gone back and forth on a hot tub for the last year and a half. We did our research and called multiple other hot tub dealers in the area but no one could come close to matching the price. At the end of the day, it was our salesman (Jeff) at the Auburn office who was the deciding factor that convinced us to bite the bullet. He was helpful and informative without being pushy, just an all-around great guy. Even after the purchase and (quick) delivery of our hot tub, Jeff remains a phone call away. He still checks in randomly to see how things are going, still answers questions immediately and made the seeming overwhelming salt system seem much more manageable than we expected. We could not be happier with our purchase, our only regret is that we didn't do it sooner!If you have been on the fence for a while, go to Auburn and ask for Jeff!

Mike McNally: I was looking to purchase a hot tub from a local dealer so stopped by New England Spas of Auburn and was greeted by Jeff Meunier. Jeff showed us the different spas they offered and all the different options they had. We took it all in and decided on a Sundance Edison 680 and couldn't be happier. They happened to have it in stock so we made the purchase and it was delivered the following week by a great crew that did a fantastic job. Jeff was also very prompt at returning phone calls or emails any time I had a quick question for him. Top notch service!

Brian Gould: We went to Auburn and spoke with Jeff Meunier, his professionalism was incredible. My wife and I had a bunch of questions, since this was our first spa purchase. Jeff answered all our questions and gave us a few options to think about. Although my wife and I were not going to purchase a spa that day, we ultimately changed our minds and are extremely happy that we did. We purchased the Limelight Pulse model and it was delivered within a week. The delivery team led by Shawn was professional and fast. It was easy after that! I had to make 1 call to be sure that I was doing the initial start-up correct and Jeff was able to do that via phone and email. My electrician found one small issue with access panel to the tub (a couple of the screws were stripped). I placed a call to Jeff and David (repairman) came to my house within two days to repair it, while David was here he checked all the jets to be sure they were all secure (he found a couple that were loose) and 1 had popped off. David was here for about half hour and had everything fixed. My wife and I are extremely happy with our purchase and are enjoying the spa daily. Thank you!

Austin Power: Worst buyers remorse I’ve experienced so far in my life. Don’t buy a spa unless you are sure you will use and enjoy it on a regular basis otherwise it is a huge money pit. Whatever they quote you for the tub you should double for the total price of install etc. We are at $30 k and counting and we only bought a $15k tub. Run away as fast as you can.

William DeBenedetto: Purchased my Sundance in 2021 from a different dealer but after multiple issues with them I got Sundance to transfer my warranty and service coverage to New England spas. Unlike the other company, I receive prompt responses and they came out within 5 days of requesting service. The tech Dave that came out was very personable, super knowledgeable, and helpful. I explained to him I had service down back in mid 2022 and the issue then was the same as now, a temperature sensor. Dave was upfront with me that Sundance did have a ru n of bad sensors but the issue was fixed. He explained the problem sensors had a green wire and the new sensors that addressed the issue was now red. I was very satisfied with the service and appreciated the candidness. Would recommend this company

I had Service tech Dave Groulx from Nespas come out and he figured out it was the way it was wired in the breaker panel. It was not the hot tub at all. Dave was excellent, professional, and kept me in the loop. We are now back to enjoying our hot tub!! Thanks Dave!

MBL: Bought a pretty expensive Spa at this place yet all communication stopped once I signed and dropped off the downpayment. Our spa finally arrived several month delayed, got „dropped-off“ at the house yet nobody bothered to help us with the setup such as connecting it to power or setting up the proper chemicals. I’d never buy at NES again!

Jason was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel heard and understood when it came to our wants and needs. Also must add, he was very patient and kind with our three little ones while we were perusing our options. Augie, Dylan, Anthony and William were our delivery team. Even amongst rain they were professional, respectful and diligent. They gave us ample opportunities to make minor changes to positioning of the spa and helped make smart decisions. Curt Anderson: Yesterday, July 7, 2022, the New England Spas service technician performed his magic on our brand new HotSprings Grandee spa. We were able to go into the spa for the first time last night, due to David's prompt response to my wife Susanne's and my request for help. David Moy: Great experience from sales to delivery to installation. Installers Augie, Shawn, Dylan and Edwin were on time and did a great job. Original electrician fell through so we used recommended NE Spa electrician and cost was outrageous.

I am impressed with the professionalism, customer service and genuine friendliness of the staff, from sales to delivery and set-up. The salespeople took the time to educate us about different types and features of hot tubs and guided us to a model that is right for us. The delivery crew was simply amazing. Augie, Nick, Dylan and Edwin made it seem easy as they hoisted our new spa from the flatbed truck to the front yard and then by crane to back yard over the top of the house. I never doubted them for a moment! They set up the hot tub, packaged up all the wrapping materials and helped me put the recyclable items in my bin. Since delivery, Steve in sales has been very helpful with getting me all the supplies I need. I am very pleased with my purchase so far and would recommend New England Spas to anyone who is interested in improving their outdoor life.
