Rob Watts: Our septic tank needed to be pumped. I saw ads for Grant's Septic on Facebook and then a couple of my neighbors used Grant's. I texted the Upton and Carson got back to. I was under the impression that pumping the tank was all that was needed to keep the septic system healthy. Carson pointed out that was not the case. As our system is approaching 40 years old, I decided to have the whole system inspected. Derek and John came out for the inspection. First they checked the tank. Yep it needs to be pumped. Then they dug down to inspect the baffle, onto the distribution box, and then the end of the leaching field. They brought me out to see the results. There is a bit of degradation with the baffle. They felt that was still sturdy and ok for now. The distribution box was more degraded. There was no standing water at the end of the leaching field, indicating that it was still healthy. I am going to have Grants change the distribution box for our own peace of mind. Once they finished they refilled the holes and made it look like no work had been. Grant's are the first guys who talked about the entire septic system as a whole instead of just pumping the tank. I'm so glad that I involved Grant's and I would recommend them to anyone.

I called 5 other companies (One of them we have been a customer with for over ten years, no call back) and Helgerson’s was the first to call back and showed up within an hour of calling them. undistribearnings: I had my septic back up on me for the second time since we bought our house in 1997. I'm a DIY kind of guy so I went to HD and rented the 75ft snake and cleaned out main line. I did this in 2012 and it has been fine since. This time it worked for only a few days. I read some reviews and Curtis Septic looked like a good bet. I called at around 8:30am and the woman was very professional and knew I sounded like I needed fast service. By 12:00 noon Bobby Voyer arrived to pump our system and check things out. He went the extra mile and checked for blockage in the septic and saved the day!!!

Raffaella Tomaselli: My experience was not a positive one. I saw a lack of communication which it should have warned me about the job. A filter was installed which requires maintenance every 6 months. I did not request the filter and is neither needed by the Title V inspector, just and extra cost to you every 6 months... Curtis does not tell you that thought they say it will need cleaning every 2 years, which is completely against what is printed on the top of one of the tanks. I asked them to take the filter out and don't know if they did it or not because the tank is completely covered now. Not professional at all. No communication or phone calls up to the last minute. Sorry.

Braden Golub: I never write reviews online for company's, but I felt as if it was necessary in this specific instance. I made an appointment with Nikki and Christine, both of whom were very nice over the phone. I made the appointment for a home that I am selling in a Weston. I was given a window of 1:00-3:00pm. I had to call them(instead of the other way around) after waiting for two hours and was told they couldn't find the person who was supposed to be coming to do the inspection. After another 15 minutes I got a call from the 'inspector' who said he would need another 30 minutes at the current job he was completing and he was a little more than 15 minutes away so I would have to wait another 45 minutes, at least, until he arrived. This would have pushed it to later than 4:00pm. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable to say the least. Because of this, I wasted a whole day sitting out at a house to complete inspection before a set closing date.Although they may charge an affordable price for the work being done, this is not good business practice in my book. If you are willing to wait around the house for a while, I supposed they would be a good choice...if you have somewhere to be though, I'd suggest going with someone who will be on time.

Tim Grady: Inept, unorganized, and unprofessional. With the licensing laws the way they are, there are not many choices in Grafton to have a title V and septic pump done. It took almost an entire week to have my Title V done and septic pumped, this was done in April, I have yet to receive my paperwork. When I follow up, the confused girl that answers the phone can not keep track of the array of excuses that spill out of her mouth. I was charged for use of a backhoe to locate the septic cover that was 4 inches from the surface. My lawn was left in shambles and I was promised that grass seed would be planted for the butcher job done to my lawn. Seed was planted, by me, paid for out of my pocket. If getting the paperwork I already paid for takes this long, I assume they would show up this winter to plant new grass seed. Also, my Shovel & Landscaping rake that were located in my backyard against my house mysteriously disappeared after their 1st visit and is still missing as of today. So If you want to be charged an extra $180 so some guy can play with a backhoe to locate a round piece of cement 4" from the surface, leaving your yard as a muddy rock filled mess, steal your tools, and take forever to process your paperwork please feel free to contact these clowns. They will certainly not disappoint you.UPDATE...Since Chase-Harris took so long 2 years ago to get my paperwork, the sale of our house fell through. Fast Forward to this week. The house is back on the market. I called Chase-Harris to ask to pick up a copy of my Title V. I was told it wouldn't be a problem, come pick it up the next day. I show up to the office and was rudely greeted by the owner and told that my promised paperwork was not done and he didn't know when it would be done. Its good to see that Chase-Harris never disappoints when it comes to disappointing people.

I contacted a few local companies for a quote on some potentially expensive repairs and when I spoke with Mr. Mercurio he said it sounded a bit strange that it would need that repair. He dug into the issue, going as far as contacting the original engineer, town officials and the installation company to get more details. Patricia monk: David and his son Daniel are the only ones I call for excavation work at my horse farm.  They developed and implemented solutions to several drainage issues around the farm, in the driveway and in the horse corrals.  New dry wells, a parking lot drain and other solutions were also implemented.  They have also worked on excavation for a new chimney foundation for my house.  They are really good at describing what they plan to do and staying on plan and on price.  They are professional, respectful, and maticulous.  The place always looks great when they are done.
