She asked if I had ever tried acting. When I revealed my rather limited stage experience, she recruited me as Louise -- a retired circus animal tamer -- a contender against two other women for the attention of an attractive man.I put together a ridiculously over-the-top costume out of odds and ends in my closet, added too much makeup and did my best. I talked about taming lions and tigers and my appreciative audiences..No, I wasn't cast as the winner but that was such fun! I met and laughed with so many friendly, interesting people. What a great beginning as a resident of The Willows!
