Worcester Pistol & Rifle Club: what do users think?
Joe Augusto: I’ve been coming here so long I’m now a lifetime member, meaning I don’t have to pay annual dues, which by the way is a very reasonable price. It’s a great place to shoot, very friendly members with a newly renovated 50’ indoor range. You won’t be disappointed if you join.
AJ DIBART: This place is the absolute best in New England! The staff who run this place are top shelf people who go out of their way to make sure the place is as safe as possible and even if you have a minor discrepancy, the president,Al Bonofiglio,is extremely fair and fast to address any and all issues.Love this place!!!
Scott S: A great, safe place to shoot.50' indoor range with 5 lanesOutdoor Pistol Range100 yard outdoor range
Rich Joseph: I am so glad that I joined in I have been using it frequently. Nice place to go relax and shoot your guns. Very secluded and classy place. A place is run by a bunch of top notch people!
Randy Wheeler: Great club, safe and good place to shoot.
Sarah Deal: Great range, polite people, generally not too busy.
E Hub: Great outdoor members only range in the worcester area. This place has both a indoor range and an outdoor pistol and rifle range.Put in an application and become a member
One of 12: A good place for shooting. You need a membership but, can visit with a member. The range is divided as to what gun you are shooting. We loved it.
Felicia LeClair: Great indoor & outdoor facilities!
brian mccarthy: Excellent club with all the amenities a pistol club could possibly offer.
Mary McLaughlin: I had training here for my LTC , had a great day!

The White Room: what do users think?
Kristi Martin: I had my wedding here. Everything was perfect. Luis was fantastic and accommodating ! Highly recommend this event space!
Ellie Woods: Attended a wedding here this week. The venue was absolutely beautiful. It was perfect, well decorated, and lots of space for all our needs. If you’re looking to host an event, I highly recommend this cute, intimate venue. Also there is hammocks inside and who doesn’t love a hammock at a party?
Brian Dutremble: My wife and I had the reception for our wedding at the White Room and we absolutely loved it! Luis was a joy to work with throughout the process - always very accommodating and kind. The White Room was able to provide a full bar for our event and the sound system was great. Also, the venue is primarily an art gallery, so we were lucky enough to have our event surrounded by art from lots of local artists, which was really nice. We very much recommend having your event at the White Room and will definitely be booking the space again in the future!
fatemeh farajzadeh: They are best of the best. A couple who kindly dedicated their life to art!
John Rogers: Attended the music Makers and Merchants Show hosted by Old Truck Guitars. Really great venue with plenty of space for all the builders and guests. Bar seemed well-stocked to boot!
Dan: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueThe White Room at the Crompton Collective was amazing. We used the space for our wedding service and reception and everything was just perfect. Amy is a saint and really helped deliver an experience that just unforgettable. The space is so unique, our guests were really blown away. The value was incredible. Thank you so much Amy!
Audrena Lovely: Everything about the White Room at Crompton Collective is amazing!!I coordinated my sisters wedding December 5th of this year. Due to the pandemic, things were a bit stressful but the venue only made things easier for us. Amy the owner is such a great person and super helpful. Despite the large square footage of the venue and the covid number restrictions, the wedding still felt very intimate yet full. So much is included and the venue itself is so beautiful that you really don’t need to do much in terms of decorating which saves you both time and money.I highly recommend to any bride looking for a venue especially ones who are getting married during the pandemic. I wish I had my wedding here!!
Kawinthi Fernando: The White Room is a beautiful spot for a wedding, or any other event really. I recently staged a styled shoot at their venue, and can say their space is truly unique. Their indoor space is very modern and industrial, with lots of options for lighting (including the cutest string lights), lounge furniture, tables, and antique chairs! They also have a beautiful outdoor courtyard with multiple elements - brick courtyard, water fountain, green space, metal arch with live greens - you name it, and they probably have it. Would definitely recommend this space for any couples looking for a great venue in Worcester!

Higgins Armory: what do users think?
Allison Johonnett: Sadly, I’ve been trying to contact this business since December 2022. I’ve called them. I’ve emailed them and I reached out to them on social media countless times. The special effects studio that I work for has had multiple events here, and would like to continue doing so, sadly, I don’t see that being possible as they are not willing to communicate to any capacity. We also have items stored in their basement that we cannot retain. We have props there as well as sets. I’m truly heartbroken at the lack of communication and inability to hold my events at this beautiful venue.
Joshua Yee: Saw a ghost here it’s haunted don’t come here they don’t want to be bothered
Tanya Luna: I hosted a Sweet 16 there a few months ago. This place is so beautiful. There are gorgeous, vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, and very much fits a fairytale castle theme. I used to bring my kids there when the museum was open years ago, and we had so many fun memories. The price is reasonable once you’re shopping around and comparing different venues. Keep in mind that they only offer the venue space. You will have to bring everything in, and everything out. Accommodate that into your planning since you’ll need extra set up time and breakdown time, unless you have professional vendor(s) helping you.Unfortunately, there were many more negatives than positives. The management company was terrible to deal with. I mostly spoke with Joe, the Property Manager, and he was consistently rude throughout the process. The man does not know how to talk to people. The contract charges a $2500 rental fee, a $500 refundable cleaning fee, and stipulates that if you need extra setup or break down time, you’ll be charged $100 per hour. All sounded great and fair. As we moved closer to the event date, and I asked about extra set up time, he felt it necessary to lecture me. MORE THAN ONCE. He didn’t understand why I needed extra set up time, why I would even throw such a big party for my daughter, and that I needed to re-read my contract, because if I took advantage and went past my time or tried to sneak in early, there would be consequences. I was paying this business thousands of dollars and he felt the need to treat me like a criminal and a child. He also decided to charge me $200/hour for extra time, instead of what was in the contract of $100/hour. And when I pushed back, he was volatile again. It was a helpless and hopeless situation since the event was then around the corner.I am a mediator in my work and home life. I hate conflict and avoid it whenever necessary. I am a lover, not a fighter. And this man tested me often where I had to tell myself to be calm & professional, since he clearly did not know how. It got to a point that I got anxiety whenever I had to call him. I had to remind him kindly that I’m not a professional party planner, and that if I had to set up tables & chairs for 120 people, I had no idea how long it would take, so I’d rather be cautious and pay for extra time, especially since he kept saying that I better not go over my contracted time.On top of Joe being disrespectful and repeatedly condescending, the place is disorganized. He changed his mind more than once. Sometimes he thought I was renting a different venue in a different state (confused me with someone else). He also promised that I could set up the night before the event, then changed his mind, and called me back to lecture me again. There was so much back and forth on just a handful of extra hours, I felt I was going crazy. Not to mention I'm paying for it. You'd think I was asking him to sacrifice his firstborn. I went to the venue twice prior to the actual event date, and both times the maintenance person wasn’t there when he said he would be. The maintenance guy was nice, but the process was frustrating, since no one works there, and the property management company is all the way in NH. The day of the event, he was also late to let us in. The AC also wasn’t working, and several of the lights stopped working because there had been some flooding. No one mentioned this until I asked. The place wasn’t immaculate either. Floors are dusty, and we definitely cleaned the place up better than how we’d found it. Luckily the floors were dark, so it wasn’t super noticeable. The $500 refundable cleaning fee is promised two weeks after the event, and I didn’t receive my check for two months. After I inquired three times about it.The Gist: BEAUTIFUL medieval venue. Great price. Tiny elevator (which matters when you have 100+ guests on the 3rd floor and restrooms are only on the 1st and 2nd floor). And sadly, horrible, disorganized property management.
BOOMER: Amazing place Very sad to hear it closed
Gabrielle Jezebel Grace Murray: A very cool place! Great for special events. Unique and old school.
Felix Andino: Super nice medieval place.
Isabella Richard: My fiancée and I viewed this as a wedding venue several weeks ago with the property manager and he answered all of my questions. When we went to set the date and review the contract there was many discrepancies. The first red flag was the property manager being 30 minutes late for our scheduled viewing. The next red flags occurred when we had made the decision to move forward and book this venue- The price, which the owner reviewed with me had changed despite the size of the wedding remaining the same along with several other details. He explained that the property manager has no say and he didn’t know what he was talking about and that the contract is as is.The venue is beautiful and unique but due to so many discrepancies between the property manager and the owner we chose to reconsider. It is such an important day and should have been handled with closer detail or shown by someone more knowledgeable.
Andrea Afshari: Enjoyed all the little shops plus the bagpipe rehearsal.
Zofia Thibeault-Tran: Amazing Venue!
Nautilus Realty Group: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueAn amazing building with so much history. The new owner has revamped the building and reopened it to the public for local businesses to call home and for people to celebrate their most special events in! Simply put, it is an extraordinary place!
Dalton Cotter: Dont rent the hall the new owner took 3000 and would not return the couple's call and wont refund their money. This Happened in July my friends had to have the wedding and reception in there back yard. The owner booked them and kept the money but did not let the couple use the hall. New update the owner offered to give back half, even tho he provided no service. The newlyweds have hired a lawer.
Spencer cline: This is no longer the fantastic museum it once was what a shame not a museum at all anymore it's an event space and office building
Freddy Alvarado: Beautiful place with alot of historic moments, it's a nice spot for photos with your adventuring company😄
Dylan Kessler: My fiance called over there to inquire about having our wedding there because the venue is really nice looking. The person who answered the phone was very rude and kept asking why she would get married if she was a student. It's not your business why we are getting married. Either you have the space and you're willing to rent it out or you're not. Everything else is rude and intrusive. We will be taking out business elsewhere..
Robie T.: We attended a friend's wedding yesterday. Plenty of room for ceremony and reception.
1965kittycat: The most unique venue!
S Santiago (BrooklynSzBee): Great place to hold an event. Beautiful.
Carolyn Polomarenko: Stuffy, but SO much history!
Maria Brogna: Was hired to be an event coordinator & the offer was rescinded when I told them my son had a bone tumor.
John Hamilton: Same nostalgic feeling WE in Worcester, received as LADS! KILTIE KNIGHT KIDS reuniting!
Ronan Silveira: Well it is just a shame, that a great place like that is not in use, with innovation this place could be awesome
