The Sharp Shack LLC: what do users think?
Jon Boucher: Steve spent some time with me going over my sons broken skate. He is extremely knowledgeable and taught me a lot about the construction and the purpose of various parts of a skate. He then rebuilt the skate to like new condition. I dropped the skates off at about 11:00 PM and he texted me before lunch the next day to tell me they were done. “If” he has a fault it is that he doesn’t charge enough for his craft. You’ve got to pay this guy more than he asks just to be fair to him.Steve is the best!!!
Lori A Lospennato: Absolutely deserves 5 stars. Highly recommended!
David Hay: SharpShack is the best in the area. Extremely knowledgeable with fair pricing. Top notch in every way.
Jeffrey Azzolin: Duffy at Sharp Shack does great quality work. He provides great services and products - you'll be happy you gave him your business.
Owen Napolitano: Top notch, and very knowledgeable about what he is doing. Also puts a lot of pride in every piece of work. Highly recommend!
Andy Angstman (Wild4HockeyMN): As a hockey player, I need my skates sharpened. However as a working father, I find it to be an incredible inconvenience to drive to a sporting goods store on my day off just for a sharpening, even in a state like Minnesota with several shops. The mail in service at Sharp Shack has been awesome and I’ve also come to find out that skate sharpenings are not created equally, the edges are even and the sharpness is consistent and smooth across the entire blade. The customer service has been top notch, the owner has worked with me to find the correct hollow for my game along with the correct profile for me. Pricing is on par with any shop I’ve ever gone to. It’s simple, drop my steel in the mail, send him a quick message and my blades are back in a week or so. I highly recommend the services of the Sharp Shack.
Ryan Perry: Steve at Sharp Shack has the knowledge of an NHL equipment manager. He can help with all of your needs with anything hockey. He has done a lot of work for me from swapping ice skates to roller, patching holes in my gloves, and fixing other shops sharpening mistakes. 10/10 recommend whether it’s mail on or you take the drive to his shop!
Cam G: On multiple occasions The Sharp Shack has done last minute shatpenings for us. The drop box is extremely convenient as I usually leave for early amd can just drop them in the box and they have the skates ready that night. I can then grab them from the drop box that night or thr next day. Highly recommend
Eric Wang: The Sharp Shack not only stocks amazing products but his quick turnaround, excellent customer service, and great knowledge of hockey gear makes him the man to go to for all your hockey needs!

Pure Hockey: what do users think?
Thomas Doane: Taylor was great helping us to outfit our daughter ahead of a learn to play program. Thank you!
Joseph Pandiscio: Jamison was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. My 11 yr old daughter needed a new helmet and he was so kind to her explaining the options and making adjustments.
Dennis Dashkevich: Great store with friendly and knowledgeable staff! Highly recommend!
jack costanza: I took my 3 1/2 year old grandson Jameson Wyatt here for his first set of hockey skates and the experience was unbelievable. John, William and Jameson were all amazing working with me and my grandson Jameson. John sized him for his new skates all while making small talk with him about the sport including his favorite team Mighty Ducks. Then we proceeded to the front were he and his colleagues (William and Jameson) showed him how the skates are sharpened and then honed. It's not often you see the type of customer care these professionals showed us today so I wanted to take time out to say thank you from Papa & Jameson Wyatt.
Matthew Boehm: Always a positive experience at this Pure Hockey. Great customer service and the store was really well stocked.
Suman Chakrabarti: This is the best one I’ve ever been to. The people are super helpful and they care to ensure you have a good experience and that your skates and other equipment are perfect. Thanks for making it a great experience.
Tommy Z: Come here if you want to be completely ignored.
Scotty Uknowmyname: Helpful and knowledgeable goalie equipment help as always. Glad they don't just try to sell you unneeded equipment and offer honest opinions
Joseph Tracy: I had to get a whole new set of equipment since my old stuff is many states away. Kory was awesome and helped me get everything from head to toe. Great guy and great service!
Jonathan Bowman: Great place they carry all the high quality brands
Yonggang Hao: Very friendly and knowledgeable staffs.
Aimee Smith: We are from VT and whenever we visit my parents in MA, we stop at this Pure Hockey. We have not had a bad experience. Today we were helped by Jameson, who on a busy day took the time to give my son some pointers on his shot while helping him get a stick. I would recommend this location to anyone. Thanks for the help!
Tom Ciras: If you get your child's skates sharpened at Pure Hockey, this could be the reason they fall or skate poorly... they don't grind full length of runner, they ruined two sets of blades that had to be re-sharpened to use.
Steph Mitchell: We went in for a new stick and we spoke with a young man RJ. He was FANTASTIC! I've played hockey for years but never really payed attention to my stick. It feels good, looks to/I'm guessing has a similar blade to my current stick, it's well priced....good to go! RJ listened to what I said about how I play, the position I play, the shots I take, etc and recommended a perfect stick! He explained everything and how it all works. He also showed me the area where I could use synthetic ice to pass/move the puck around to get a feel for each stick. After using both for a while, he came over and made his recommendation after watching me move the puck around and passing it. He was also just a really good, fun loving kid. Can't say it enough, he was FANTASTIC! We then got a stick extension and he called another young man over, Johnny or Josh? Lol RJ called him over with like a friend's version of his name like Joshyboy or something. Anyway, he too was FANTASTIC! Very nice, respectful as well, knowledgeable, another really good kid! I like my stick a bit longer and they didn't try talking me out of it. They both understood why, no arguing, and he took the measurements and cut my stick. He cleaned off the stick, smoothed it out, got as much glue as he could off, etc. He and RJ even talked some hockey with me. A GREAT experience!!
Rob Buchanan: Large selection. Knowledgeable staff is eager to help
Patrick McCarthy: What a great place to grab your equipment. Jameson and a young man that he was training were exceptional and impressed my son and I very much. They both made for a great experience & we highly recommend this store.
R V: I have two hockey players (one who is also a ref) and every time I’ve been there - whether it be for skates or equipment or repairs or just questions - every staff member I’ve interacted with from associate to manager, male and female, young and ... less young - has been incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and most of all patient. We all know hockey is an expensive sport. I shop online for many things in my life but I go to this store 100% of the time for all things hockey because their customer service is unbelievable. You won’t regret it.
Matthew West: Went In for a pair of skates for my 7 year old who is just starting to learn. Was helped by Derek to find who quickly measured his feet and found an inexpensive skate for us to start with. Did not try and oversell us something which relieved a lot of anxiety in this process thank you so much!
Sarah Bartholomew: I had a wonderful experience getting my first pair of skates. Dylan was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time with me asking questions to get the right product. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful!
Sean Burlingame: Very friendly staff. I needed to get a new pair of skates and the manager was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Angus Lindsay: Huge store with lots of choices.
