Vivian Tristesse: About eight years ago, I had electrolysis done on my eyebrows with an amazing woman named Tammy. Recently, I needed a touch up, so I tried another electrologist that had 24 5-star ratings. Compared to Tammy, this other electrologist was very slow and spent over half the appointment giving me an energy reading and trying to sell me essential oils. I walked out at the end of that session with only one done eyebrow. That’s how I learned how lucky I had been to have had Tammy.On the other hand, Jael, I think her name is, at Unique Electrolysis is incredible. Because of my schedule and short-notice request, she put me in during her lunch break. She worked even faster than Tammy, and was very kind and professional. She didn’t ask any intrusive questions, and she made sure to make my eyebrows as symmetrical as possible before I left, even though this took extra time. I offered to pay for the extra time but she declined, stating that she couldn’t let me walk out looking like what the other electrologist had done to me.Jael even counseled me on how to avoid overtweezing my eyebrows, which I really appreciated because I do have that tendency. She made sure my eyebrows had an aesthetic shape, which the other, bad electrologist had not bothered to do.Don’t waste your money elsewhere— come to Jael! She will help you get the results you’re looking for. I am so relieved that there is still quality work being done out there, and it’s being done by Jael.
Lindsey Aubuchon: I would leave 10 stars if I could. Jael has been providing me with electrolysis using the blend method and she is amazing. She pays attention to how your skin reacts to the treatment and adjusts accordingly and makes sure that the treatment does not cause redness and swelling. She adjusts the settings for more sensitive areas so that the area heals quickly. I recently traveled out of state and visited two different electrologists. One caused burns that took a week to heal plus an additional week before the redness in my skin went away. I decided to try a second electrologist. The second was not gentle with my skin and would push and pull the treatment area excessively. I never experienced any issues with Jael's expertise. She approaches the electrolysis in a way that is as gentle as possible on your skin and she really cares about the results. I highly recommend Jael!!!

Lynn Skladzien: I have been dealing with a medical/skin/allergic rash on my lower limbs, for the past 18 days, a condition that came on while on my 2 week vacation at Salisbury Beach - I went to urgent care in Amesbury, as well as 2 trips to the Anna Jacques Hospital er in Newburyport, for treatment/diagnosis, but explanation was vague and steroids did not clear the rash - yesterday when the condition worsened I decided to go to the Umass Lake Ave ER - the staff and Drs were not only extremely pleasant, but also compassionate and knowledgeable - a diagnosis was almost immediate - a consult with on call dermatologist Mark Scharf also confirmed the er dr diagnosis - an appt was set-up for me at the Umass Hanneman Dermatologists office - upon arriving at that office this morning, I was greeted by a very pleasant friendly admin rep, this pleasant and caring manner was exemplified by Dr Mark Scharf and his assisting Dr Jones, nurses and check out staff - I cannot praise this staff enough - not only do I know have knowledge of my condition, but the warmth, the compassion and genuine concern put me at ease.... Thank you for this experience

Chelsea Bentley: If you’ve been considering laser hair removal, RUN, don’t walk to The Woo Skin!! I called one day just to get more info and spoke with Tiffany. She was extremely knowledgeable answering all of my questions/concerns so I ended up scheduling my first session for that evening. The treatment room was very clean, comfortable and inviting. I had laser done on my lower legs, the process took about 25 minutes and it was MUCH less painful than I had anticipated (kind of like a rubber band lightly snapping). I saw results after just one session! My only regret is that I didn’t find Tiffany sooner!! The results were so great that I’ve scheduled to have other areas treated and am also getting a facial this week :) I can’t recommend this place enough!!Service:Laser hair removal

It is cozy, and clean, smells terrific and the sounds are simply amazing.Mikayla will always gauge her treatments to how my skin is doing. I have rosacea, so she had her work cut out for her. She did not give up on me, and wow - my skin has never been better.But besides the facial, the dermablading, the brows, it’s the scalp massage that usually knocks me out, and she ends up having to wake me.I cannot say enough about Mikayla!
