Heidi Ann: My first time ever getting a facial and I was a little disappointed. The facility was super beautiful and clean but the girl who performed my service didn't really explain anything that was happening. I didn't realize she was going to target my blackheads which was very very painful. I also had a lot of product in my hair and eyes which ended up burning for most of the day. I would be willing to go back for a different service such as a massage but I don't think I'll be getting a facial again 😟Service:Facial treatments

Alicia M Castilla: My son's wedding was to take place in Worcester and the bride’s mother recommended Tu Moda to get my hair blow dried. I scheduled an appointment for a blow dry about a month in advance. (I tried to also schedule makeup but they no availability.) The Tuesday before the Saturday wedding I received a voicemail cancelling the appointment. On Wednesday they sent a text message cancelling. I called back and was told the hairdresser wasn’t coming in and no other hairdresser could accommodate me. They were aware this was for my son’s wedding. Since I was coming from out of town I asked the receptionist if she could recommend anywhere else. No, she couldn’t she said.I guess since they knew I was from out of town and therefore, perhaps, not a repeat customer they felt their business would not be affected. It is extremely unprofessional as well as inconsiderate to cancel an appointment on such short notice without making any attempt to provide any accommodations. It is also short sighted to not treat a new customer, even one from out of town, with respect. Of course, I will share this bad experience with my son’s new family who are all from Worcester.

Jacqueline Savageau: I had a great massage. But when I went to get my hair colored the stylist informed me that the treatment would be a full foil and longer than she was expecting. Rather than rescheduling she rushed through a great deal of the process leaving lots of Brassy spots that were only bleached for a short period. The overall hair color was bad and not at like the multiple pictures I showed the stylist. Really not satisfied with the price or my experience here.

It was a deep tissue sports massage.Pros-#1 no check-in required, masseuse was waiting for me at the reception.#2 masks were required and practiced for the whole time.#3 the towel was very hot.#4 the bed for like a sleep number, with various adjustments.Cons-#1 - masseuse was not presentable#2 - she mentioned deep tissue, but it was not all around, just a back and may be for 5 minutes.#3 - it was kind of like when I moisturize my body every day, without pressure.#4- the masseuse did not know how to use the numbers and was constantly fidgeting with the remote.#5 - I do not carry cash, when I asked the receptionist to charge my card, she charged me $2.50 as a cash back.

When booking the appointment I asked if they have experience with curly hair. Was told they do. Want to say that the place is beautiful. Everything is top of the line. From the moment you enter you feel welcomed; but they do not know how to work curly hair. First, they did not allowed enough time to the hair stylist to work on my hair. In no way this is a bad review on her. I think she tried her best, but at the end, my hair was not done right. It looks so dry, looks like the hay given to the horses. My ends are completely dry. I had the same experience at another salon which I guess don't know how to work Latinas curly hair. I always go to a Dominican woman who leaves my hair so shiny and straight. I will have to go to her to correct my hair today. She charges half of. what it cost at this place, and does it better. Even when I do my own hair looks better than today. Was so embarrassed to be seen with my hair down that I put it up immediately before coming home.This is a bad review against the owner. He is from Puerto Rico and should know what it takes to work hair like mine. There should be at least a hispanic hair stylist who knows how to work with our hair. I still have a balance on my gift card. Was planning to get more services, but will have to go buy some products. Will never go back to have my hair done again. And let alone she is elderly and dismiss her . I saw photos of all gelled makeup and they did t even line up eye lashes and or properly lengths I was quite distraught she was charged 75$ for make up !!!!!! Sephora not that expensive ulta is expensive they make you buy stuff but 75$ ? And they refused to allow her even buy product telling her oh just go online and buy the stuff really lissed off and should consider refund or fighting charges with the bank ridiculous how greedy this place is !

I wanted my hair a little above the middle of my back and it turned out barely touching my shoulders! And the back underneath is even shorter. so short I cannot even put it up, I have to use clips or it falls down. The blow out was horrible as well. Disappointed!!!

We have been to 4 other salons all over central mass - all different types of spas even really, really expensive ones and I have to say this place had the BEST massages.The massages here are amazing, professional, relaxing and the price is really affordable! Michael is my absolute favorite- I feel like I melt on the table during the massage- he knows all the best pressure points and I’ve noticed that he is really good at finding where I have knots or tight/injured muscles and will work them out gently and it doesn’t hurt when he does it when it usually does with other massage therapists. He is very good at feeling where people need the most work done even though his English is not very good. You can tell he has been doing this a long time and is well trained in healing. He is also very great at communicating the best he can (English is not very good) but he will always ask If you are ok, If the pressure is ok etc.I def recommend this place. I am really picky and I get shy easily when going to a new massage place because it is a very vulnerable situation lol- they were really great at creating a safe, comforting, professional and relaxing environment. They also usually have specials and coupons on their site! If you are driving far I would recommend calling before you leave- they usually call and confirm an hour before, but there was two times they either had to cancel or change the time which was difficult because I live an hour away.Thank you New Forever Young! We will be back! We have been getting monthly massages with you guys and I look forward to it each month :)

Anna Komar (Anna): We scheduled twice and they cancelled because they first double booked then were understaffed. First time I drove all the way out there just to find out they double booked (even though I got a text confirmation earlier that day that I am set for our appointment) second time they texted to say they can’t do the other time they promised, resulting in a huge waste of our time and gas. I would have asked for a refund but I purchased the massage through Groupon so we went back when they had time for the couples massage and were both shockingly disappointed. Their hands were so calloused I felt like I was getting scratched by a rough sponge (my boyfriend had the same experience with his masseuse). The massage itself was so uncomfortable and I felt like I was getting my bones massaged instead of my muscles. There was obviously little to no massage experience so I politely kept asking for them to please spend the remainder of our time on my feet/legs as I did not want my back and neck massaged anymore (it hurt and I just wanted them to stop and work on something safer). They don’t speak any English so that was another issue, I had to ask like 15 times and gesture in various ways to please ask that they just switch to legs and feet and no more back. They also brought out some hot stones which were more like scolding coal rocks that I couldn’t even hold in my hand it was so hot, without looking my boyfriend said he would take the stones if I didn’t want them and then promptly changed his mind after feeling the outrageous burn. He also asked them to switch to feet because the massage was ridiculously bad and we were even considering leaving early. I was going to leave a 10 dollar tip but they demanded 40!!!!! I said no, and left 20. We were basically corned and conned. I just wanted to be out of there as quick as possible so I tipped the 20 and left. Really bad experience, I wouldn’t usually go out of my to write a poor review but this really was a bad experience start to finish.

This is a lovely open salon owned by Luigi who is a seasoned professional and quite a business man . He is renowned in Worcester County. Together with his staff, they create the perfect look for their clients. Just being there is such a great experience. Follow that up with a nice meal at Pepe's which is adjoined. Well groomed, and well fed, what could be better?

When I arrived the doors were locked, the place was not a spa like environment, she talked the whole time, burned my skin with the facial steamer, she was also on the phone with another client, kept leaving the room, and rushed the service. We did review preliminary information regarding what's included in the service and the approximate time needed to complete the service; however, it seems there was a miscommunication regarding the duration of the appointment - and for that, we apologize. The locked door is unusual since it was during the middle of the day at 2pm and the salon was full of clients - I am not sure if you tried to enter through the side/back door, but in any case, we're very sorry if you had difficulty entering the facility, and can understand why it was frustrating for you. With all that being said, we would love to service you again, and we're happy to work something out for you if you're interested. The place was locked and I had to call them to let me in.She talked the entire time, it was suppose to be 60 minutes and it was less than 40. She was on her cell phone and kept coming in and out of the room. Did not rebook Oh! and she burned my g=face with the steamer because she had it too close to my face..... Awful place!

My first experience with her was incredible, virtually painless! She was very professional, knowledgeable and personable! From then on I continued to see her for various treatments and she has never disappointed! Hands down the best spa in Worcester! I will be a customer for life.
