They explained in clear and professional terms my condition, the procedure and the expectation of recovery. They were available when needed. After excessive surgeries on both my left and right rotator cuffs I am happy to say that I am full recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Desio and his team.

He was thorough, friendly, didn’t seem rushed while meeting with my husband and I. He answered all of our questions. Wish I had gone to Dr. Desio right from the start. Laurie Raphaelson Ballantine: I was treated for rotator cuff surgery. It was difficult to get an app’t because I was considered a second opinion even though I never had seen a surgeon. Once I finally got my records to Dr. Desio and got to see him in person I was very well cared for. Nurse manager, the PA and Dr. Desio did everything quickly because of the need for surgery. No complaints. Aftercare has been great as well. His aggressive view on PT has made for a great recovery.

Dan Kelley: Have a shoulder injury that has not healed. When I tried to explain the follow up appointment from the initial injury the receptionist told me I wasn't making sense - cut me off with authority. She stated that my trying to see this doctor was for a 2nd opinion(all i had was an emergency room visit and a follow up with a doctor who's far from me). It just felt gross, I don't like being spoken to in a disrespectful way. This is where my insurance is trying to send me... After that encounter I would never go here. Before coming to Dr. Desio I was having chronic knee pain for years since my first ACL surgery back in 2014. I never felt right post surgery. I was going to Dr. appointments to more Dr. appointments just being brushed off being told there is nothing wrong. I was then referred to Dr. Desio by a family friend. After my first visit I knew that I was in good hands, and that we would come to a conclusion.I ended up needing ACL revision surgery on my previously operated on knee. This was not an easy thing to hear, but I was told everything you need to know about the surgery and whats to follow. I was not left out in the dark about what was the next steps. Dr. Desio and his staff are so dedicated and compassionate towards their patients. When you go into the office, you don't just feel like another patient to them, you feel welcomed and ready to heal.

wendy k: not a good experience with this MD, basically told that she did not know why I was having acute pain, because the compression fx would have healed. also post visit note was not accurate she got the not only the dates wrong but did not document what she had told me correctly.

Malcolm Chumsae: Trying to reach them for days and it's impossible to get through to anyone in the office and they do not answer phone calls. After reading the reviews and seeing everyone else having the same issue I will be changing my pcp. (Sidenote the one and only time I was able to get through to anyone they were unprofessional)

The other posts that are up except for 2 that are positive reviews are coworkers employees and friends. This is them trying to build their reputation up.

She gives great care, I have never left there with a prescription without also being recommended supplemental treatment like vitamin recommendations, Dietary or lifestyle changes That have helped tremendously. When I first became a patient they were having phone isssues at the office. (Gotta love spectrum)! But that hasn’t been happening in a long time. I have had great experiences with everyone on staff also.

Tom Na: Everytime I go to see her she listens and if I have a question she will tell me what I should do and it usually works. She was the only one that told me that I have tendinitis in my thumb on my right hand and she was spot on with that. She gave me a cordason shot and it is helping to take the edge off and I did not even feel her giving the shot. She does a very good job and she is a very good doctor.

Sarah Stuczko: After my second yearly physical end of last year I got a bill even though it should have been covered. It took almost a MONTH of numerous calls just to get someone to look into it (voicemail weren't returned and twice they told me they'd call back and never did). Was told they have a different definition of 'yearly exam' and if you open your mouth about any issue your having, they charge you for a second appointment. They insisted I should've been told (clearly I wasn't or I would've had questions) and refused to to anything to help. The billing manager was especially unhelpful and kept making remarks unrelated to the issue, making it clear she wasn't listening to any of my concerns. The icing in the cake was that I asked repeatedly to speak to Diana Trister about the issue and was told no. Guess she's either too good or too cowardly to talk to her patients when they have a problem. Needless to say, now I'm looking for a new doctor, one that's not a complete sh*tshow and actually cares about their patients.

Tessa Podolak: I love this Doctor! She’s very upfront and honest, something I suppose some people can’t handle. I have some complicated health issues that most doctors don’t understand or know how to handle, but she knew exactly what I was talking about and how to help it.

No calls are returned, neither are there responses to emails or messages sent through the patient portal. My patient care suffers b/c of their lack of communication. I'm changing Doctors b/c of this problem.
