Laura R.: I was here today and recently about 1 to two weeks ago, Josh and some other employees are very kind always, calm, and helpful. I have been coming here for years with my child. I have never had any complaints atleast not for a while. There are some new employees, one in particular. The 2 times I've come into contact with this "assistant manager" the attitude of this individual is unprofessional and disrespectful. This individual never greets me and is very serious and on the previous incounter was disrespectful making jokes and comments in my regards with another employee. I understand they were closing as I was entering a staff mentioned I may enter through the outgoing door, to buy one item since the main door was closed. I did. This bothered the assistant manager Liyah but this individual only conplained subliminaly several times after i was at the register making funny comments with a peer. if I spelled that name correctly. I can understand it was almost closing people were still checking out and a few last minute shoppers. If anything kindly ask me to leave and I would have understood. I assumed i was fine as i was about to enter i had permission to do so.But the disrespect, jokes, attitude, rudeness was uncalled for. This person continued back and fourth with the rude comments as I tried to relax and breathe through the uncomfortable situation and jokes and indirects with the coworker of this individual. As a manager this assistant manager Liyah was unprofessional and rude. I am ultimately a customer. So today I see the same person at around 4:00pm through 421pm and ask for assistance at self checkout, I tried to be the bigger person and put the past behind. I said thank you, the response was, "yup" as this Manger walked away serious. As a customer for years, I'm not going anywhere, but this type of energy causing tension, loss of customers, and thankfully I'm mature enough to maintain my composure and behaviors. Some people have health issues, mental challenges, and more and this type of treatment can cause bigger issues. If this individual doesn't like the job, why work in customer service, and worse as management supposedly leading by example 🙄

Expired items on the shelves The meat looks good on top with all kinds of nastiness underneath ( presumably for weight). The fact that you have to dodge panhandlers accosting you coming and going. I usually go to the one in Hudson now. It's like Lincoln St used to be. Avoid

One of 12: Did a quick run in to cash some cans and grab a snack. Everything went well except the self check out was giving me a hassle . The nice young girl there helped me. It didn't take her five seconds to have it resolved and I was on my way.I stopped at customer service for some West Boylston trash bags. The young man there was very nice. The bags were in sticked.... purchased four packs and was on my way.All around good stop.

Tom Cosgrove: Most expensive groceries I have ever bought in my life. Typically one or maybe 2 cashiers ever working. Even self checkout has ridiculous lines most of the time. Customer service is closed most of the time, and finding help in an aisle? Almost impossible. Well worth the $6 in gas to shop at Market basket.

pat jennings: We experienced a wonderful shopping trip today at the Worcester Ma store on West Boylston Street. Such a helpful staff and so friendly. A few years ago this wasn't the case but things have certainly changed!

I tried to pay with cash on my ebt card (not with food stamps, ebt cash, you can withdraw from the atm or buy anything you could otherwise buy with cash) and there was no reasoning with them. If they had a good reason to tell me "no" I would have accepted it. Out of principle (I had plenty of paper money) I went to Honey Farms next door where with no hassle I purchased my cats food with DTA/EBT cash assistance.If you enjoy rude employees who always seem angry and don't understand a basic function of DTA, don't even know that they give cash and accuse you of trying to buy catfood with food stamps when you trying to pay cash, this is the store for you. Over ten years I shopped there always letting such nonsense slide, I will just go to HF and I recommend that anyone who does not like rude and ignorant people do the same.

Adam Sslame: I went in there and the owner of the store did not care to get up off his chair to help me. When I ask for a part I was looking for, he tried telling me they do not have it. So I proceeded to look for the part myself and found it behind the counter. Now he had to get up, followed by attitude. this is not the first time I’ve gotten an attitude at the store from the owner. I also have several friends that have reported the same problem. Choose another line of work

Cher by Photography: Went back again today, actually. The service is really awesome. Someone had left their groceries in the parking lot and the Solution Center was quick to return the items to the cold section, in case the person realizes what happened. We always go here since it's close.

They have the best in-store sound system to hear all of the deals, it's better than reading a circular.. whoever does the sound in there he's doing it right!. They promote all of their deals and all of their promos perfectly and it is clear as day! That alone tells me it is a high quality store. My shop here daily for a reason. Great deals, great customer service and best local stop & Shop or grocery store, whatsoever around. Be sure to check into the audio that they have IN-STORE, it is EXCELLENT! Who is the music provider and or retail messaging service they use? I am very interested in using the same messaging++ service in a few of my stores as a trial. I really love everything about how this company does business. It is definitely one of the higher end Stop & Shop stores!
