Eileen Terrill: The other day, I called Underwater Poolmasters (UPM) about a problem priming my pool pump. What a surprise that Steve (the owner) answered the phone!! Although I know he was very busy with customers, Steve patiently answered my questions and gave advice to resolve the problem. As we talked, we realized that my family has used UPM for almost 30 years! I can still remember the day Steve came to educate me about the pool operation. Over the years, Steve and his crew have been incredibly helpful with information, troubleshooting, service calls, and reassurances. I feel like I am very knowledgeable about maintaining our pool because of Steve’s tutelage—-he’s a marvelous teacher! (Pun intended!)We’re very lucky to have UPM service our pool. The swimming season is so short, and we are able to take advantage of each Sunny day thanks to Steve and his staff at UPM!!

I stumbled upon Underwater Pool Masters after calling numerous places near where I live (south of Worcester) over the course of many weeks, I guess my pool situation was not attractive enough for them. I am a new pool owner and knew nothing about pools so I was of zero help. I'm about 40-45 minutes away from Underwater Pool Masters and I wasn't sure they would even consider it. They did, and they came out as fast as possible, fixed my leak, fixed my pump, educated me on everything I need to know, and got my pool running. Fast and efficient! Thank you Steve and the team at Underwater Pool Masters, you guys ROCK!

D. Doherty: If I could give them negative stars I would!!! We are new pool owners and were looking for a local pool company to work with as the place we bought it from was out in Pepperell. Not only did they give us the wrong opening date but when my husband called to complain they told him it must have been his hearing as to why there was the wrong date given! They then told me once I filled the pool all the way up I was good to run it. Not knowing how to open it at all we didn't realize that there was no DE in the filter. (That's not included in the opening package) our pump was leaking (not due to the lack of DE but because of how they installed it) they then told us that was another service call. They came back to "fix" it after we complained again and ended up messing it up again . I will NEVER use this company again. We basically paid $265 for them to dump all the leaves in our pool, take the cover off and connect the components . I recommend Snyder Pools if you want good quality people and service, we have since switched to them. Don't waste your money on the services here. It's a joke.

Extremely knowledgeable, they use the newest technology to test your water and generate a "to do list" which is easy to follow. Underwater Pool Masters has all the chemicals and supplies you need at reasonable costs. Steve is nationally accredited and offers training courses to other professionals and takes the time to teach his customers! Over-all the service was above and beyond what I expected! Do yourself a favor and visit the store with your water sample, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Steve and staff!

Rocio Dooley: I would have rated them zero stars if it let me. STAY AWAY FROM UNDERWATER POOL MASTERS! One of the worst experiences I have ever had. I have used Underwater Pool Masters for years to open and close my pool. I have also used them to purchase products. Up until this year I have always had a great experience with them. Apparently, they now let their service guys (ERIC) do their own scheduling. Well, Eric never showed up on the day he was supposed to open my pool. Then I was rescheduled to a week later. Again, Eric never showed up (no phone call or anything). When I called yet again to see what was going on, I was told that they can't even get in touch with Eric to find out where he is or what is going on with his appointments. I asked if I would be scheduled for the following day since this is now twice that Eric never showed up to my house. I was told that Eric's schedule looked full for the following day and that he would most likely not make it. Are you kidding me??!!! How was my pool not a priority at this point? I was bumped twice with no phone call or anything and yet I was not going to be squeezed in? Completely insane. How do they even think this makes sense? I called again the following day to get an update and nothing. They couldn't tell me when Eric would be out to open my pool. I then left a voicemail for the owner, Steve. Waiting for his call back and explanation. How could he let this guy Eric ruin the reputation of his business? I can't wait for an explanation....

Dr. Neal Robert Smookler: Kudos many times over to Underwater Pool Masters. I purchased a home in Hopkinton in 2011. UPM had performed the pool inspection that summer as part of the home purchase. I live in Hopkinton which is a little outside of their normal service area - so when another pool company left me hanging because this particular pool was "too much work" (it has a spa, heating system ) - I was truly stuck. I called Steve White (the owner who had performed the inspection) a bit embarrassed that I had even listened to the urging of my neighbor to go with the other pool company for the opening and explained to him what happened. He was as gracious and re-assuring as one might be. What a relief and what a class act. They came down, got the pool, spa and heater up and running without issue and without any complaints that it was "too much work". I am forever grateful. Steve, Phil, Eric and Lisa (I hope I am not leaving anyone out!) go so far above and beyond that they feel like old friends. I mean that. Little things...tile replacement, filter and pump issues, troubleshooting questions are never seen as an annoyance. In an era where service is not what it used to be, they're a breath of fresh air. They simply have a customer for life.

Peter Libutti: Incomparable professionalism, quality and workmanship.
Rick Coughlin: We have a Gunite pool that Ferrari Pools installed in 1983. After forty years it was showing its age (some small cracks and plaster wearing off exposing concrete) and it was time to be resurfaced. We called Ferrari and Tony Zagame came out to measure the pool and take some notes. He walked us through the several options available to us and we selected a pebble finish looking for the aesthetics and durability. The work got scheduled sooner than we expected and Ferrari's construction supervisor (Lacky) was incredibly helpful explaining what was to be done and ensuring the work was done efficiently and properly with minimal mess.. When the water was delivered and we found that the pool wasn't holding the water, a call to Lacky was all it took to resolve the problem (a faulty hydrostatic valve). Lacky knew immediately what the problem was and by the next morning it was resolved.A real test of a company is not when everything goes perfectly smoothly - that's what is expected. The real test is when a problem arises, how quickly is it resolved and what hoops does one have to jump through to get it resolved. In Ferrari's case, they were right on top of it and resolved it as soon as they were notified. W Y: Expensive with an extremely poor communications and costumer serviceWhen they call back (if you are lucky) they are pleasant, but it truly takes a good 4-5 attempts to reach someone …For the money you pay, certainly not worth it, very sad 😞Update:After the company’s comment on my review, I called the construction manager for questions, no answer, voicemail full, call the 1-800 number 🤦‍♂️I asked for the pool cover, the company installed the cover, no explanation, warranty form left outside in the rain, I was about to through it out when I read:“Fill and mail back in 30 days or your cover warranty is void” 😳 😳😳How am I supposed to know there is a form to fill out, if you left it on the floor, next to the trash, in the rain 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️Again, this company does good structural work however with bad service and extremely expensive prices! So you make your own decision 🤷‍♂️
Luke Jorgensen: Do not recommend: Scott C came out to look at my project rehabbing my pool. Charged me $350 to look that he said would be taken off the price once I accepted the work. Later emailed to say they were not interested in the job but that he was keeping the $350 because I paid for his experience to look and consider the job!?!
Shannon Frazer: Ferrari Pools recently renovated a 23,000 gallon free form chlorinated pool located on the South Shore and the results are stunning! I spent 6+ months researching pool builders. The final renovation included pebble technology as well as a conversion to a heated saltwater system. With these customer driven upgrades, Ferrari Pools still came in $15,000 less than a well-known South Shore pool builder who only offered a basic renovation. Ferrari came in on time and on budget.From the initial walk through to the design, construction and maintenance, the process has been simple and straightforward. Lacky goes above and beyond project managing with a careful eye. He has made the process easy and truly fun. The whole Ferrari Team is friendly, responsive, efficient, honest and hard working. This team produces high quality work and their attention to detail is bar none. The team is extremely skilled in their craft and extremely communicative. Helen Culver: If you are considering refinishing your pool, look no further than Ferrari Pools. Last September they transformed our pool in a mind blowing 3 days!! Lacky and his crew were a well rehearsed orchestra. There were zero hiccups and not a single idle moment in the 3 days they were here. Lacky was so patient in answering my questions, of which there were many. Very professional. We are so glad we did it. You will be too.
Maria Cincotta: Ferrari renovated my pool in fall of 2019 - it looks fantastic, and once they were ready to start my project, it was like clockwork.What I was most impressed with is the customer service from Lacky. He knows the business, and was consistently responsive, and reliable. If Lacky says he will do it, you can take it to the bank.Recently, I noticed I needed a small repair in the concrete. My immediate assumption was that I would never receive a return call, given that it's almost 3 years post project completion. Lacky is still with the company and was on site within a couple days of my call and is addressing my concern.
Suzanne Stavros: My husband and I recently had our 18+. year old pool and patio renovated. Ferrari Pools did an outstanding job! Al, Lacky, Diane and Keith were a pleasure to work with. Al & Lacky kept the project on schedule and Diane was always responsive to our questions. Lacky was great coordinating the pebbling, managing the job on-site, communicating with us to what was happening and when as well as coordinating with the company to fill the pool. Al was great with on-site management and made certain our pool was up and running properly. Keith and his team did a beautiful job on our patio! Keith is such an expert when it comes to patio design, we could not be happier! A great team who takes a lot of pride in their work, so very pleased!
Erin Cox: We just recently had our 30+ year old pool renovated with new coping and tiling as well as some concrete repair and replacement of a skimmer. It's never easy to renovate due to unforeseen conditions, but Ferrari Pools was willing to take on the project. Originally quoted back in September by the estimator Tony, work began this spring. One thing I appreciated is that they honored the original quote from Fall of 2021 even though I'm sure there were rising costs across the industry due to inflation and manufacturing lead times.Because we were a small job requiring multiple trades we were fit between other projects. Our project manager was Lacky, and he was honest, forthright, and communicative throughout the improvement from initial inspection to punch list coordination. Anytime we called or texted, he immediately responded. If there was an issue or question he or another team member would be our at our house that day for resolution. Lacky made sure the renovation completed in time for the summer season and has continued to be a resource for any of our pool-related questions.We are thrilled to have a fresh, new space and appreciate the relationship built with Ferrari.

We also use Ferrari for opening/closing and service during the season, and their employees are knowledgable, meticulous and professional. Pool always looks great and water is clean. When fidelity pools tried to scare me with nonsense, Paul hands me a bottle of yellowtrine and says use this and brush it tonight. Then add 2 gallons of shock. I wake up to a clear and balanced pool. If youre looking for no nonsense, no fear mongering, and just honest help and assistance, these are your people.

This year I had my first mishap with them in which they schedule my pool opening, confirmed that a crew would be coming to my house in which I took time off of work to be there and when I get to my house at the time they were supposed to be there no one shows up, since no one called me back I gave them a call and was told no one would show up, I was upset and was told by Paul the owner that "the world isn't perfect" I was upset because no one called me and I had to call in to find out.Fast forward two weeks later after they finally opened my pool I put an order of a heat pump, gave the owner my card # and was told they needed a $400 deposit to which I agreed, two days go by and my card isn't charged, knowing their level of organization I called it and spoke to a woman that got my card # again and charged it later that day, I was promised that this would be installed within three weeks, those three weeks go by and I am not given an update, once again I call after a month of the initial charge and ask and was told that the pump is in a truck on its route to Massachusetts, it should be in the state through the weekend and I would be given a call early the week after to schedule this installation.Well I was given a call today and this woman on the phone said she is calling to schedule but cannot give me a time frame, could be anywhere between 9AM-6PM, mind you this is a week day and for a system like this someone needs to be home to learn how to manage it, I proceed to ask her if someone can send me a video of it and she said the installer who will be working on it cannot do that so she put me on hold to find a solution, she comes back on the phone and says that actually she made a mistake and the heat pump is still in Florida, I then ask her If i was lied to, she immediately transfers me to Paul that like always answers with an attitude in goes on to lie about what he just told me otherwise three days before.If you made it this far, my advise to you is stay away from these people, they do not know how to treat a costumer, lie to your face and are unapologetic about their mistakes, horrible company from top to bottom.They have lost my business and I am sure I will not be the last one.

Ken Helinski: Horribly bad operations and customer service. This location will close just like the Natick location closed years ago. Leslies has a struggling board with no experience in the industry. Failure soon to come plus Leslie's is in major financial debt again, stocks suck, etc. By Leslie's Framingham, decent run but the big boys take over Framingham now.
Cathy Schaefer: Go elsewhere. Service & attitude of salespeople has become quite poor. We dropped off our Polaris cleaner for service 3 weeks ago. They happily took it. Since then we have called many times to check on the status but the phone is never answered. We stopped by twice, but they were closed during their normal business hours. Finally got through today after letting the phone ring 32 times. It was answered by a very rude person. I asked about the status of my Polaris & was told she had no idea when it would be ready as they were waiting for a part. I questioned when said part was ordered, She wouldn’t answer that. I questioned whether she was thinking a few days or several more weeks. She very rudely responded that she had no idea. I asked why were we not told at drop off that the store would not be open their regular hours & that it would take several weeks to even look at it, again an answer dripping with attitude & rudeness. I suggested that the charge for the service should reflect the inconvenience of several weeks without our cleaner. Her response was come get it whenever you want & she hung up on me. I also never told her who I was & she never asked, so not sure she knew, likely just gave a standard answer “waiting for parts”. No one ever called to tell us about a problem with it or ask if we wanted it fixed. Perhaps depending on repair cost, we might have chosen to purchase a new one. We never okayed the repair.We have used Leslie stores for our pool products for 19 years. Never Again.

M Shuhy: Service is terrible. Never used to be like this. Supposed to open at 9am, the manager doesn’t show up to open it until 10:15am and doesn’t let people in until 10:30am. No explanation to the 5 people waiting, and rude/annoyed when people needed service. After all that, they are out of the pool salt that their website says is available. Never felt the need to write a review before but go to another location if you have the option.

Seeing as how I can get what I need TODAY instead of some time after the weekend *and* I get to ask questions to knowledgeable when something weird happens with my pool, the small difference is completely worth it to me.
Jaclyn Dutchka: We purchased a sand filter from there the beginning of last season. Had problems from the start and they ending up replacing it because it was “faulty”. By that time the season was over and we didn’t get to use the pool at all. Come this season, time to open the pool and the filter is still not working. They told us to have leak people come out and we did there is no leak. Then they have had service people come out to fix it all leaving saying it is fixed come to find out it is not fixed. Over the past two years we have done and bought everything they have told us too thru them and our brand new filter still does not work. Randy at the store has been nothing but amazing but the corporate office has been awful. I am not one to complain but they willingness to help us isn’t there at all. There is sand shooting from the jets whenever we put the filter on. They told us they will have someone come out to make sure it is a filter problem. What else would it be! So here we are with a big beautiful sand filled dirty pool with a brand new filter and no one is willing to help besides Randy. And he can only do so much... very very disappointed

My husband and I were in desperate need of a pool pump before Memorial Day weekend, and we got sucked in by "Gabriel" one of the salespeople to purchase a a brand called "Jacuzzi".At the time of purchase the promotional offer was "free instillation".. So we made our purchase on 5-24-19, and set up one month in advance to have the part installed by "their contractor".. The date agreed upon for the installation was set for 6-17-19.Randy the owner assured us that the part would be installed on 6-17-19.. I made sure that I entered all my information correctly into their computer system so there wouldn't be any hiccups, unfortunately little did I know it was going to be a horrendous nightmare..So as you might imagine the worst was yet to come...Our installation date of Monday 6-17-19 came and went without any sign of the supposed contractor to "install our Jacuzzi pool pump".. Add insult to injury I called Leslie's Pool Supplies the next day and was met by an unfazed nor helpful salesperson by the name of "John" who proceeded to tell me that my contact number was wrong (and didn't do squat to correct it after I repeated it twice)....Not only that but there's a discord between the contractor and Leslie's in which they say one thing and it doesn't get done...Let it be known that after all that hassle we finally got our money refunded, and will NEVER STEP FOOT into Leslie's Pool Supplies ever again... Schysters and swindlers based upon terrible customer service and misinformation... Stay away !!!

Geri Morazzini: My husband went to purchase sand we needed for our pool filter. Not one person there had a clue how much sand we needed. He asked 3 different people. One had no clue what he was talking about. One tried to look it up on the computer & couldn't answer him,. And lastly, the old man attempted to help but walked away without helping him. Very disappointed.
Cecilia: This place is great. I called the day before to confirm they had the floats I intended on buying and all were in stock. The store has pool and spa equipment, cleaning supplies and most importantly, really epic pool toys and floats! The manager of the store is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I will be coming back for my pool supplies.
