Ashley Ngo: I don’t recommend bringing items of this place unless it’s quick small repairs for low value items. Communication was clearly a problem with my experience where they had told me to “tip toe” to mimick my heels (first red flag) and where i had made them aware that i was wearing three inch heels with my gown and they agreed, but the dress came back embarrassingly short, and went above my feet barefoot. I came back and they had assured me they had no blame and they couldn’t do anything about it. Will not be coming back or recommending to anyone. Sajed Chreim: Ahmad is an absolute boss. You can tell he has a passion for his work every time you walk in. Extremely polite and because he knows you'll probably be back and do more business in the future, he has repair and altered multiple times before free of charge and extremely quickly. His suits are solid quality, obviously you're not buying $1,000 suit but at the same time it is still good quality that end up fitting perfect. Let me tell you now about the fitting, once he has your size down its to a T. He understands exactly how to fit and tailor in shop suits and suit brought out of shop. Extremely professional and high quality service. Would recommend to anyone needing suits that aren't going to break you bank or any repairs or alterations. Marilyn Flores: Convenient location, decent alterations, awful customer service. The proprietor insisted to my student that she pay him in cash even after she said she didn’t have any and acted affronted during the whole exchange. Then he accused me of lying about having already paid in advance for alterations for the dress I was picking up (had to pull up the evidence on my bank app.) No apology once he realized he was wrong. I said his behavior was rude, so he refused to alter my student’s dress after saying he could rush it for prom. Honestly a ridiculous experience.Service:Alterations

Elizabeth Prest: I brought my wedding dress here for alterations in 2021. After the first alteration the dress was still so big that I had to hold the dress up to keep it from falling down. When I said more needs to be taken in he said that “No! It’s perfect!” I should have taken my dress to someone else right then. But unfortunately I didn’t. He even went so far to tell me what I did and did not want to look like. I knew exactly what I wanted and he argued with me. When I got the dress back for the final time, I called the dress store and cried saying I’m going to need another dress because mine looked so bad. He closed the plunge so poorly I had a giant thick seam up the middle. The hem of one of the layers was cut with a pair of scissors (edges were not sewn for a clean look) and was so jagged, I needed to pay another seamstress to fix it and properly sew it. The new seamstress was shocked at all of the other poor alterations. Unfortunately my dress was not completely redeemable, and I wasn’t super happy with it by my wedding day, but I didn’t have a choice. I regret my decision to come here every time I look at my dress.Service:Alterations

Michael Josephs: I took some shirts and pants to this shop recently. I am not sure what some of the negative reviews are about. My experience was excellent (and some close friends also have had very good experiences) and the price was very reasonable. The shop seems very busy, so that might explain why some of the timing issues existed. Rice Sq came highly recommended by friends and my experience was good, so just thought I’d throw my two cents into the mix. 5 stars from me!
Lisa Thuot: Brought her my daughter's Halloween costume with a zipper that was off the track. Rather than informing me of the cost before hand, she spent 6 minutes fixing it then charged me $50 bucks. Shady as they come ill never go there again. A respectful business would have said "zippers are $50 are u sure"? Theif.

Sharon Hoffman: The staff here were working really hard to get customers served. Unfortunately there were a few people ahead of us that were indecisive . The staff handled this with such patience like they were the only customer. Just as my order was up and the manager was waiting to hand it to me a women insisted on his attention to complain about an ice cream cake from Valentine's day. He addressed her immediately then briefly excused himself to hand me my order. A GREAT team.

Dino Zhidro: Absolutely perfect! The staff there is great and you can tell that they care about eh quality of their work. I went in about a week ago to have a pair of pants tapered, they helped me choose the right amount of taper and cut me a fit that felt great! I'll be sure to always go there when in need of a good tailor.
