Mike Healey: EverPresent digitized two large photo albums from around the 1930's for me (200 pages, 600 photos). They were non-standard sizes and would not fit on the scanner I had at home. The pictures were glued to the pages, so I could not try to scan them individually. EverPresent was able to scan the pages whole (to preserve all of the context and writing), and able to separate the images into individual files for more typical digital albums. The physical albums came back in better condition than when I left them (the photos were all dusted off, bent corners unfurled, etc).The service took about 5 weeks total and was a bit pricey, but worth every penny. They did a truly outstanding job. All without the worry of shipping my albums to a foreign country, like many other companies that digitize photos.
