Laura: Thought this place was authentic Vietnamese food, but its pho tai and egg rolls are def not. The rare filet mignon slices were overcooked and chewy. Broth lacked that beef bone je ne sais quoi. Egg rolls are the wonton noodle wrapper type at Americanized Chinese restaurants and not actual rice wrapper. Also the styrofoam container melted off on all the food, so there goes a few generations of fertility. #phthalatesAlso, woman on the phone refused to accept credit card payment over the phone. Must pay in person.

It was a pork vermicelli bowl. Very little pork in it, more fried than char grilled. Not good at all. Just before finishing a rat ran out from the back. I tried telling them but they seemed so uncaring about it. Definitely would not come back.

I have been coming here every other week as a regular for over 4 years and their quality has been consistent the entire time. It’s family run and they have always been super kind to me. Tracu: i ordered their banh canh cua and it was absolutely amazing and so warm and comforting. the noodles were perfectly cooked and the broth was really rich and they didn’t skimp on the crab meat. i also ordered an avocado smoothie and it was delicious. my sister got bun bo hue and nuoc chanh muoi and both were delicious as well. the staff was very attentive and friendly and even asked me if i needed anything while i was looking around. very affordable and would go here again.

John McNamara: Hein Vuong only severs phoand it has THE BEST broth out of all the Vietnamese spots in Worcester. I get the Tai Nam every time. I want to try other ones but I just love it so so so much. I usually get extra noodles and extra meat. It truly warms my soul and when I’m sick I always say a bowl of tai nam from here with heal me. It’s a family run business and it seems the younger ones in the family work as the front of house so don’t come in here expecting full service but they are very sweet and do a great job and none of it matters because this pho is so so so so good. 10/10

Morgan C: Some of the best pho in Worcester. A brilliant, clear, flavorful broth, rich without being greasy. Noodles just the right texture. I could have wished for a little more tripe and tendon in my soup (only a couple pieces each) but that was the only issue. Fast service, clean place, straight forward menu. They do what they do well.
Let's Go: We passed by the area and decided to give this a try. We were from Philly and used to Vietnamese food. This place did not disappoint. The pho was really fresh and the beef also. The soup was delicious. It's definitely top notch in my mind.There are two reasons why I only gave four stars. Price is on the high side. It's about 30-40% higher than Philly for similar quality and size. Secondly, the place has no decoration and ambient at all. Old stuffs and overgrown plants laid around. There's a paid phone, a real one, on the wall. When was the last time you have seen one? Nostalgia? The place is not just basic, it's unappealing.

Wendy Xie: This is small and cozy spot specializing in noodle soups. It was our first time here and we really enjoyed the whole experience.Food: ordered #4 and #11, pho came out quickly and piping hot. Bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime wedges and jalapeño slices were fresh and clean. Soup was perfect, not too salty and has that beloved beef pho flavour. Their raw sliced beef is thinner and in smaller chunks than other places, but is softer in texture when cooked by the soup. The medium size is an excellent portion for the average hungry customer.Service: two very sweet and quiet waitresses helped us with our order, drinks, etc. They were very gentle and efficient with their service.Environment: given the current situation, I wish their spoons and chopsticks were not self-serve on the tables. Napkins were brought out to us, which was nice, but it would have been great to have hand sanitizer more readily available for the guests. Mailee Spezzano: Ok so let me start off by saying I give them 4 stars for the pho and they’re pretty fast with bringing out the food. I’ve been here 4 times so far. HOWEVER, the customer service isn’t the greatest. You pretty much seat yourself, which is fine but then you order your meal and they don’t even ask if you would like something to drink. you are supposed to ask or else you aren’t getting anything. (Speaking from experience 4 x they didn’t ask until I did) Follow me, they don’t check on you after you receive your food. You have to try and establish eye contact in order to get your bill and even that barely works; you have to do the entire body turn with the stare and wave, like, hello you see me now? Or I just walk up to the counter then they come skipping. Oh and BTW FYI they only sell noodles and pho. No appetizers or other options. They do sell some boba but when I ordered today on a Tuesday, I believe the woman said it’s only on the weekends. They have other drink options though. Their coconut drink with slices of coconut is bomb.com. Small restaurant with about 7-8 tables. Oh and another FYI debit/credit $15 limit. Despite the customer service cons, I will continue to return because I really do love the pho and I’m sure you will too. Enjoy y’all ;)

Eric Ding: I'm kind of ambivalent about this review because the food is honestly quite good. I've been here several times and have really never been disappointed food-wise. Despite the general vibe and atmosphere clearly catering to a mostly non-Asian crowd (big bar in the center, trivia on Thursday nights, just generally not looking even remotely like an Asian restaurant lol, etc) the food is actually surprisingly quite authentic. Spice levels are also not at all toned down, which is also a pleasant surprise.My main gripe is the incredibly inefficient server we got the last time we were there. I understand that the restaurant was semi-busy, but we waited tremendously long to get water, order food, and get our checks (~10 min each). She spilled some soup on our table while bringing out the entrees and took literally 15 minutes to bring napkins. Empty entree plates sat on our table while she just dropped off dessert and left without clearing anything. She was very pleasant but the service was just incredibly lacking, to the point where I'm a little hesitant to return, especially since Worcester is absolutely not lacking in solid Vietnamese food. I would also add though, that all of the other times I've been here the service has been fine.

As I reminisced upon the dank, piss filled, cheap beer watering hole that once held this domain, I was given a bounty of wonderful food, and a uplifting, fresh (one might say “mint-like”) atmosphere, it made me forget nights I had tried to forget many a year ago in the same location. This is no Blarney, and that’s a GOOD thing. Our dinner consisted of bao buns, bahn knot, bun bo hue, and chicken with sticky rice. Then finished with ube ice cream and a stellar matcha tiramisu. Chelsea A: We ordered crab ragoon, pan fried dumplings, spring rolls, bbq pork bao(to die for), number 30F, and the ice cream desert and everything came out pretty fast and Everything tasted delicious! You can tell everything is fresh and none of that frozen stuff. The food was so good I forgot to take photos of everything The service was also great! The place is clean and plenty of seating.
Paola Gutierrez: I came here with a group of friends recently, and it does not disappoint! For apps, we ordered the egg rolls, crab rangoons, banh knot, and bbq pork bao. Everything was super tasty! I had the Saigon breakfast banh mi, which was so good! My friends had sticky rice, which they also enjoyed! The drinks were also good and reasonably priced! Our server was attentive and personable. The food and drinks were delicious and at a reasonable price! We will definitely be repeat customers!Hint: eat the banh khot WITH the lettuce!

Jessica Hamel: Well first things first, the food, amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious.But for me, more importantly, the service was equally amazing. I brought my nephew and niece there recently. I don’t often take two kids out for dinner and was feeling a little anxious about it. They don’t have a “kids” menu but our waitress was so patient and worked with me on substitutions for my picky eater 4 year old niece. She brought her food out as soon as it was ready, not sure if the waitress could tell my niece was getting restless. The waitress complimented my nephew on how polite he was as well. Another waitress joke with my niece when she insisted on being the one to put down my card to pay. These may seem like little things but for someone feeling overwhelmed with two kids, they made our visit so enjoyable.

Rocio Payes: I randomly picked this place because I was nearby and the pictures of the spring rolls looked good. I didn’t even look at the menu or read a single review. I had no idea I was genuinely about to have the best pho I have ever eaten. I grew up with a lot of Cambodian, Thai, and Vietnamese kids and the spring rolls tasted like my best friends grandmas. The chicken pho was so good I was slurping the broth. I live like an hour away but I’ll definitely be back because I’m going to be dreaming about this pho.

The inconsistencies in the service, the freezing temperatures of our pho, the lack of actual service from the management after the initial complaint of subpar food was absolutely vile and contagious I could not finish the experience. Was not worth 170$ I paid not including tip for the unfortunate server. If I could put no stars I would’ve hit it twice.
Heather Snell: Nick, our waiter was the saving grace here, he was lovely. Food was great, kitchen a little slow, not terrible. Took family of 4 an hour to eat, appetizer and entree on a Tuesday night at 6pm.Then it goes down hill. Boba Station, snail's pace, halfway through our appetizer 2 drinks still not done by the Boba Station, bar drinks were out within 10 minutes, and before appetizer arrived. Several tables had dirty dishes on them, Boba station attendant didn't get the tables cleared until someone tried to sit at a dirty table. Then when drinks from Boba station arrived almost 25 minutes later 1 was wrong. Basically, all issues stemmed from the person running the Boba Station who wasn't clearing tables or completing orders.There is nothing to absorb sound in here and a loud person on the phone sat in the middle of the room.
John Powers: Went last night with my wife. We really wanted to love it because we want to support local businesses and we are trying to eat healthy. We love the shabu (hot pot) place next to Baba Sushi in Worcester and Kyoto in Holden, and my daughter recommended Pholicious so we gave it a shot! The wait staff was very friendly, but after that I really cannot say too many positive things unfortunately. The service wasn't good and the food was quite disappointing. We really wanted to love it, but I had to make myself toast and a smoothie when I got home. We won't go back :( unless the food improves. I hope it improves so the place can thrive in the future as it was too empty for a Saturday night.
