Jonathan Hummel: This place is amazing and I will absolutely be going back here for any watch or jewelry repairs I need in the future! I went in with a budget mechanical automatic watch with the hopes of getting it regulated (it was gaining 2-3 minutes per day). My hopes were low because several other places either told me they couldn't do it or that it would cost well over $100 (e.g. close to what the watch was worth) and that it wasn't worth servicing. I take it into Tatnuck Jewelers and the watch repair man serviced it right then and there in under 10 minutes. When it came time to pay, they didn't even charge me for the service! I was blown away. Fast forward 48 hours and I don't think it's gained or lost noticeable seconds, let alone minutes. The time seems to still be dead accurate. The improvement was night and day! This watch has sentimental value to me and while others scoffed at me for bringing in a "junk watch" this place serviced it politely, professionally, and quickly for free for the first time. I intend on going back here in the future and making sure they get some of my money for services/products because I am incredibly pleased with this positive first experience with them.

Service was fantastic and I got my watch back all set and working within 3-5 minutes. Service and staff are very very good and I will be coming back again!

I was told to check back in a week. A week later I went back and was told they couldn't fix it. Disappointing at best. When the man working there realized I was upset, he finally took the time to explain what was wrong with the watch and why he couldn't repair it.

He was quoted at $180 to repair a missing hook on a pair of 14k gold hoops. I was horrified and brought these to Maria. This repair was completed in less than a week and for $60. Liang Dzindolet: We had the most amazing experience with Pope Jewelers! We had gone to other chain jewelers and were extremely disappointed by their lack of rings to try on. I was only able to try on 3-5 rings that were only available in size 6 - it is really hard to judge if you like a ring when it only fits halfway on your pinky finger. We made an appointment at M. Pope & Co. Fine Jewelers and they had a wide variety of diamond rings. I probably tried on 20+ rings. If they didn't have the ring in my size, they were able to take a loose diamond from the back and place it on a "setter" which is basically an empty band they could place a diamond on. Michael and his team were extremely patient and kind. I especially appreciated Michael's extensive knowledge on the diamonds and what to look for in certain settings and materials in order to create the most stable ring. My fiance was able to design a ring easily and it was ready within a month. After the proposal, I needed to resize my ring slightly and they were able to do it in under 48 hours! The ring is so beautiful and even better than I could have ever imagined. We highly recommend M. Pope & Co. Fine Jewelers and will definitely be back to purchase our wedding bands!

Arthur Eisenberg: This just goes to show you. If you don't know enough of the business then someone will always try and legally steal a piece of jewelry from you. From the moment I walked through the doors I had a feeling that something was off about this place. All of the lights in the store were off including the lights in the jewelry cases. It was also very hot and muggy in the store. He was changing a battery for another customer and charged her 20.00 just for a regular battery. I was like hmmm that seems like a lot for a small battery. So after 25 minutes of waiting for him to finish small talk with the girl he was working with he said can I see what you have. I said sure here it is. Well what I have is a 1.85 ct Solitair diamond with a platinum setting that has a EGL Certification of $19,700.00 and it says SI1 I to J color. He looked at it and said well It's a tough diamond to sell no one wants a Old European Cut Diamond. I said ok that's understandable. He then said I would like to buy it but how much are you selling it for? I stated I was looking to get $7,000 for it. He laughed and said I wouldn't get no where near that amount. I said ok what would you like to offer me? He then replied with $200 dollars. I nearly lost my temper and said you are trying to steal this from me aren't you. I then took my ring back and told him I'm all set. He then said let me explain. I said there is no explanation for what you just offered me. The platinum alone is worth more than $200 dollars and the diamond alone is worth Thousands of dollars. Look if I was you I would never set foot in this store and give this scam artist a moment of your time. Protect your family and friends from scam artists like him.

Rehan Rasool: Called in to ask if they buy gold; the guy Markos gave me a price on the phone. Went in an hour later and it was the weirdest interaction I have ever had. Markos (owner) said that the boss is not there. I asked if I should come back tomorrow; he got flustered and told me not to as they have been trying to get out of the gold business for 4 years?? The shop clearly says "Cash for Gold" on the outside and I had called earlier to check. I said thanks and left. So strange and rude. Take your business somewhere else.
