Matt L: In a new world of disappointing customer service I am thankful for the service that I received from Charlton Well. The woman I spoke with to schedule my service appointment was very helpful and got me in very quickly for a nonemergency problem with a pressure tank. The day of my appointment they gave me a courtesy call before coming and they were actually able to come earlier. Tyler and his partner arrived and they were very professional, in and out in about an hour and nothing to clean up. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

lisa dibonaventura: We had no water and they came over and came to the conclusion we needed a new well. We went down to our town hall and paid for a permit that same day. My husband called to tell them we had the permit and start the contract for a new well. We ended up having another person check our well and lo and behold it was a simple fix! This was 3 weeks ago and we have yet to hear anything back from them as far as they know we are a client waiting for the contract with no water. Buyer beware! I wouldn't recommend them at all anymore. We have always used them in the past and always had good service I don't know what happened to this company.
thomas lalumiere (Riden8ked): Called once and spoke to the owner. He said he'd be out in a day or 2 to look at the property i desperately needed done after the well went dry. After almost 2 weeks, no call backs and i finally got a hold of Peter, who stated they would not be doing the job. Company never came out. Very poor customer service, would not recommend. Company was recommended by others, not sure if its the work load or what but stay far away from them.
John: I had lost water and called this company based on a recommendation from a neighbor. They were at my house over the course of a few days identifying and fixing the problem.The guys were very nice and accommodating to me asking a bunch of random questions out of curiosity and watching the whole process. Despite being in this unwanted situation, I had a positive experience with these guys and the work provided. Ron Simoneau: Built a new house after knocking down an old house that had been empty for 3 years. When restarting the well when the new house was completed had an issue where the pump would quit after about 10-15 minutes of running. Our builder called Charlton Well to check it out.Sorry I forgot the names of the men that came out but, they watched the pump run for a while and were getting ready to decide to leave when the pump stopped. They then confirmed the pump needed to be replaced. About 2 hours after they arrived the pump was replaced and they were on to the next job. Before they left they cautioned me to flush the well periodically and let it sit as much as possible because they had disturbed sediment on the sides of the well. Since we were not yet living in the house thought letting it sit would be easy. Turns out 5 days later still had an issue with pre-filter getting clogged and stopping water flow. Asked Charlton Well to come back out to discuss next steps. One of the original men and another met me at the house. After talking and observing both the pre-filter and final filters we decided to wait and observe. Turns out that was the right decision, we've had no issues since, and the pre-filter is still pretty clear after 4 weeks of living in the house. BTW, they did not charge for the second visit or the replacement final filter they installed.I would highly recommend using Charlton Well to anyone with well issues.

JR Nee: My wife and I moved to Charlton with our daughters in 2020, and we really don't know the town that well yet. Still figuring out the right people to call for different things. Woke up this morning with no water coming from our well.Long story short, it turns out that our 17-year-old pump was fried and we'd need a replacement.I called Charlton Well Company because their name was on the tank down in the basement. From the moment the office staff picked up until we had water flowing normally in our house was just about 4 hours. Amazing service from the nice lady on the phone to the two Ericks who came and did the work.I highly recommend them, not just for their lightning-fast service, but for their friendly and helpful employees. ANDY LOCONTO: I was having issues with the well and I was hoping to give a local company my business. I called 3 times 3 different days. I spoke to some older lady who answers the phone and unfortunately she couldn’t answer my questions, she said someone would call me back (3 times) After my 4th attempt she told me she was to busy and she works from 8am till 6pm every day and I should try a different company. Wow!!

Overnight, no water.Promptly at 8:00 am Friday morning of the long Fourth of July weekend I started making calls and Charlton Well put me on the list for the afternoon.Brian arrived around 2 pm. Friendly, considerate, personable - three first impression observations. Long story short, I killed my 6 year old pump.He had EVERYTHING on his truck to do the job in such a short time, was so thorough and maintained such a pleasant upbeat attitude on this very hot day. He was even able to add a lever onto my tank to make sure I didn’t make the same mistake twice. You could tell he took pride in his work.I’m so pleased with this company. I’m so glad they had coverage on a long holiday weekend and were able to fit me in. The cost of the job was more than reasonable, but Brian left a lasting impression,made the water work again, and hiring Charlton Well the best decision of all. Thank you!

Mike Gormley: Barton Well & Pump has saved us twice. When the other well company in the area wouldn’t give me the time of day, Mike and his son came out on Saturday after Thanksgiving to make a repair and restore water to our house.Today, a Friday, I came home at 4:30 to no water. Called Mike at 4:50, and he came right over. Checked things and found the issue. Replaced it (luckily it was under warrantee) and got water back flowing.Honest, dependable, and gets the job done. I won’t use anyone else. You shouldn’t either.

Scott LeBeau: I called Darlings on a Wednesday with no water issue. I was told he would come Thursday afternoon or Friday the latest, for sure. Thursday came and went with no call. On Friday late morning I left a message asking him the time they will be coming by so I could make arrangements to be at the residence when they arrived as I was working. It is now Sunday and no one ever responded back to me. I found this to be very unprofessional and unacceptable! If he couldn't do the job or didn't want the job, he could have told me so and saved me two days without water. I called Advance Pump in Harrisville RI and they came right out, so do your self right and call them instead, I as you won't be disappointed !

Lindsay Albert: Darling's brother was contracted to fix the septic on the house I purchased, before the sale went through. Their truck hit the well cap on the property (visibly the cap was broken in half exposing well water to outside elements) and Darling's water well was contracted to fix the well. I was not aware that this was his brother until much later on. The day before the closing on the home (after over 2 months of dragging feet), Darling supplied my attorney with a receipt for fixing the well cap and a clean water test which essentially would now get me in trouble if I wanted to back out of the sale (because they did what I asked per the contract, "fixed" the well) unless I wanted to lose my deposit. Immediately after the closing I had the water re-tested, had an expert come out, and they said the well was still damaged beyond repair and water was loaded with bacteria and fungi. The water expert said that the cap was merely replaced, not sealed properly, and that the casing under the ground was not sealed. Darling was previously INSISTENT that there was no damage underground, he put the camera down the hole in front of me and said there was no leaks (likely to protect his brother's septic company). I called Darling back and he is refusing to help me, claiming it is not his responsibility since the house was sold, and he worked for the realtor who flipped the house. I honestly believe they falsified the water test results.Service:Pump repairs installation

Jim M: I had no water pressure Sunday night at 10pm. I emailed Dave and he called at 6am Monday morning and arrived at 8:30am. Dave arrived just out of kidney surgery and found out the problem right away. The connections from the switch going on and off all the time burnt out. He replaced quickly and was very fair and reasonable where other companies would have probably had me replace my whole tank. I would recommend Dave Darl8ng for future well repairs and installs.
Bill Walsh: Not sure how they are handling well pump service but they are terrible with water treatment. Have had an issue with my water and the system they installed is not working. November they ran a water test which showed high content of manganese which was supposed to have been cleared up with this system. I called was told I would be first on list and here it is The end of January. Good luck.

Bear 01571: Jim is awesome! Called on a Sunday when the well pump died. He came out an hour later to ensure it was the pump. Next day he was there with the new pump. Took his time to do the job correctly. Has a great personality and is very kind. I had called 7 other local companies, left messages and never heard back from one. Kendra: We had our well installed in 2005 when we built our new home. The type of pump installed at the time had a shelf life of 10yrs. Recently, our well stopped working. My husband called Hydrosystems and spoke with a professional and courteous woman who escalated the call and kept us updated. Hydrosystem was out the same day we called doing the repair! Everything was completed within hours. I typically don't write reviews, but Dave and Andrew were such a blessing to our family. Not only did they replace the pump but also re-wired the pump.
