Roberta Bush: Very much enjoyed walking with our 6year old granddaughter around the farm. We saw sheep, pigs, peafowl, miniature donkeys, miniature horses, alpacas, and goats. There are some playground facilities there are well. Designed for those under 12 or whohave never seen farm animals. We enjoyed watching the pigs being fed. Verify hours of operation before visiting.

John Birkholz: Free little animal farm inside Green Hill Park. Very clean and well kept, not the kind of place you can spend 2 hours at, but definitely worth checking out of you are already at Green Hill.

Animal Adventures Family Zoo & Rescue Center: what do users think?
Ethan Nappen: Absolutely amazing place for kids (and adults too!). The breadth of animals is so wide and the staff are knowledgeable, easy-going, and engaging. Cassidy was our guide for the toddler tour and she was fantastic - she made a good experience into a great experience for our daughter!Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $31+ …More
MARDON ASHUROV: It was fun
bruce robbins: It is a cute small zoo. Not a huge selection of animals. They do have a lot of interaction exhibits with animals.Friendly and knowledgeable staff. And very cute sloths!
Kerrie Scibisz: WONDERFUL Experience!!! My sis and I visited on Saturday (I bought the "pick six" pkg as a birthday gift for my sister as both of us have always wanted to visit Animal Adventures) and we had Hannah as a tour guide. Hannah (I hope I am spelling her name correctly) was awesome. Very informative and let us ask a ton of questions, never rushed us and let us spend plenty of time with each animal, taught us how to pet them (each one is unique in handling and care.) We chose to see the owls, emu, kangaroo(s), foxes, kinkajou and wallaby. Hannah also let us take peeks at a couple of others as we were passing through. PLEASE keep in mind; this establishment is a rescue; they take unwanted, needy animals in constantly. They do what they can with the space and depend on donations for support and care. These animals were happy and content with their surroundings. Everyone had fresh water, clean bedding and clearly the staff/team cares about each and every animal here. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.I strongly recommend visiting Animal Adventures; such a unique and memorable experience! Thanks Hannah! :)
Suzanne Taylor: This place was wonderful!! My son and I went to the fox/kangaroo class and had a great time. It was awesome seeing all the animals and learning all about them and the ways they care for them. It is a labor of love!! I would completely recommend checking them out. This is a paid for private experience, which is worth it, but there is no age requirement. My class had a couple of very disruptive kids, that made it hard to hear and focus on what the teacher was saying. The little ones also don’t understand or know how to respect the animals. But that is the parents/guardian’s responsibility, in which they unfortunately didn’t care.Nonetheless, 5 stars!!!
Whitney S: I love this place! All of the staff have been friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Our guide was Michelle, who was just amazing! Thank you for the wonderful experience!Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More

She made sure that the whole family felt included, not just the kids! The extreme tour was well worth every cent. Thank you Lisa and Animal Adventures for creating such a memorable experience for my family and I!

Alexandra Toner: First off, I applaud Animal Adventures for what they're trying to do; to give unwanted or unreleasable animals a home, to educate the public about them, and to give people the chance to interact with some amazing creatures at a reasonable price. And it looks like the animals are well fed and cared for (Soloman the tortise and the spotted pig had QUITE a spread for breakfast). That said, this zoo's facilities leave a LOT to be desired. The website looks great, but it doesn’t make nearly as good a impression in person. The whole place is pretty dingy and sad-looking. Their main building where most of the more exotic animals are housed stinks to high heaven. But the lackluster appearance and smell wouldn't be so bad if the enclosures for some of the animals were better. The kangaroo and wallaby's cages made me very sad in particular; I know it's harder to provide for them in a colder New England climate, but those two deserved much bigger, nicer enclosures! The lemurs, koatis, foxes, and big cats deserve better too. More space and a bit more resemblance to their natural habitats.I heard one of the staff members mention that the rescue was hoping/planning to open a second location with more room. I sincerely hope this becomes a reality! Again, I applaud this rescue's mission, I just think it could be executed better for the animals.
Roxy W: There is a Zoo Church there. Very religious founders who use their animal shows to preach scriptures. For some this is a good thing. For many others this means you are not welcome there, mainly LGBTQ people and families. Look up Charis and you'll find a video of their story, judge for yourself.

Catherine The Black: Such an amazing day!! The guide for our "Extreme Tour" was so knowledgeable and fun. The $75pp for 2 hours was 100% worth it - my 12 y.o. and I had the best time! Leslie Rap: We did the "my first tour", and it was absolutely worth it. Its was $25 each. A private tour for our 3 yr old, the tour guide was super nice and let our son pet a bunch of animals. It's a great thing they are doing for rescue animals.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $21–30 …More

Jenny Lau: The largest zoo in Massachusetts and home to a larger variety of animals. We spent about 3-4hrs here and had a great time. If you love primates, this is definitely the place for you. It seemed like no matter where you walked, you were on your way to see some monkeys! The information plaques by the exhibits were very helpful and shared more details than other zoos might - from conversation status to threats to their population. An experience you can't miss is the Deer Forest, which allows you to get up close with and feed a variety of deer - bring some quarters! And, of course, don't miss the bat box by the entrance.Parking was plentiful and easy to navigate. As for tickets, it's helpful to purchase in advance to avoid long lines; sometimes the zoo offers online discounts. They have honor AAA and senior discounts!

J. T.: Very clean, feeding the deer was fun, staff was very friendly & my kids liked the playground. Unfortunately the skyline & zipline were closed. Also the little bear ride wasn’t running and there wasn’t any food like hotdogs being sold. Just drinks and icees. It was an ok day for what it was but we probably won’t go back.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $21–30 …More
Linda Sutton: Fabulous zoo with good landscaping and arrangement of animals. Could use better signage to various popular animals. Newly added are the snow leopard cubs (10 mos). Very rare in zoos. Great playground for pause in viewing animals. Eagle ride high above lions. Camel and ponies to ride. Can rent an animal themed scooter. Disability accessible with $38/day cart with basket. Loved and will go back. Free parking. Good restaurant adjacent so you don’t have just junk food.
