The Farm at SummitWynds: what do users think?
Nathaniel Galloway: Recently stayed here and an Airbnb, which will receive its own review through the Airbnb site. The farm is beautiful, not in bloom but lavender far as the eye can see. A very friendly and well behaved dog. And a lovely lavender maze.
Jammie Glenn: Kiddos had a blast at Unicorn Fest! Pony rides, arts n crafts and of course the animals made the day. I just wish I could’ve seen the fields in bloom!
Nathalie Paez: We had our wedding ceremony at the farm this past August 2022 and booked with them almost a year out. If you're planning a wedding here be prepared to take a lot of initiative on communication, planning, and coordinating. It took a lot of time and constant checking in on our end for things to go well on our wedding day. Amy was sporadically responsive to text messages and emails and often did not get back to us for several days or at least a week later. Most of the stars for this review are for the farm itself because it is a beautiful location to get married and you can get so many great pictures. Be prepared to be very hands on and DIY with booking here - even on the wedding day itself there was a lot we had to take care of ourselves and worry about as the bride and groom. They are not as accommodating as we expected to be treated on our wedding day. One major thing is that the ceremony was in August and it was a very hot day. The bridal suite (which is very pretty btw) did not have a fully working A.C. even though Amy assured us ahead of time that it would. My bridal party, Mom, myself, and my hair and make up artists were all sweating bullets up in the bridal suite for 4 hours because the A.C. did not blow enough air or get cold at all. Even after pointing this out (myself!) to Amy she denied that the A.C. wasn't working and said that it is. I asked her for at least a fan to help circulate the air and she immediately said she didn't have one without trying to look for one. She didn't bring us a fan until the last 30-40 minutes. The non-working A.C. is only one of the many issues that happened leading up to the wedding. All this to say if you want a beautiful ceremony and wedding location that is affordable and unique this is the place. Be prepared to either do all the work yourself and be stressed or I would highly suggest hiring a wedding coordinator so you do not have to worry about these things on your wedding day and they can communicate directly with Amy from booking until your big day.
D H: Love it love it love it... We met the unicorns and it was absolutely amazing. Great experience
marylou knox: So we went to the Unicorn Festival, the farm is beautiful but it was way overpriced, you had to pay for everything extra except for the wagon ride and the bouncy house. We waited in line for over an hour for face painting - they only had 2 girls doing it and the pony rides were worse. They only had one pony and several kids in line to ride, we had to go back 3 times and finally ride for literally 2 minutes for $5. I’m sorry but when you have an event for little ones you and it’s sold out ypu need to have plenty of help and when you pay the kind of money to go everything should be included.
Meghan Morton: This farm is so beautiful and the owners are so sweet. I visited early this morning for a photography workshop and we were treated to Lavender Lemonade and homemade parfait using a delicious granola that used their own lavender. The owner was there all morning and was so friendly and welcoming. I'm looking forward to returning again next year. Such a beautiful place.
Rachel Dampolo: This location is beautiful, but it was not very kid friendly. I was there for a photoshoot with a photographer and the staff/owners(?) seemed very unhappy to have young kids there. The kids were not allowed to run (try getting young kids not to run around and have fun). The staff appeared very unhappy with the kids being there and were not very friendly.
Rick Campbell: My wife and I went for the first time last night. Please don’t listen to those negative reviews. Is was adult only night and was fantastic. I was never more relaxed sitting with a beer and taking in the views. We picked lavenders, did the photo booth as well as the butterfly release. The food truck was awesome and just sitting and listening to the music was the cherry on top of the Sundae.Tip of the hat to Marilyn for her advise and an animated conversation:)We are already booking for the unicon visit.
Rza Aghayev: I newer seen like that rough staff
Jess W: Oh my gosh. The Lavender Festival has something for everyone. The farm staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they take tremendous effort to create a fun and welcoming space, and the farm is incredibly well-appointed and vast.Lavender lemonade was delicious, photo opportunities were sweet and fun, store was great and had creative products, and the land, animals, activities, and plants were just breathtaking.I was disappointed to hear that the efforts of the farm owners and staff were occasionally burdened by guest misbehavior. We're so lucky to have the opportunity to visit working farms! I don't want that to go away because people can't behave and feel entitled to this space and its beautiful resources. To top off the visit, someone on the property has the prettiest piece of stained glass art I've ever seen!
Wynne Chase: Such a beautiful place!! The lavender festival & sunflower festival are both very enjoyable. Lots of pretty places. Great for photoshoots or just for people who want to see a relaxing, beautiful scene
Holt Murray: Such a great outdoor venue for music or just roaming around the farmlands. The band they had play, Mid-life Crisis is such a fun, rockin' band with a great playlist.
Krystal Ducharme: tried to go there for a sun flower festival and it was $20 per person just to get in regardless of age
Paula Belongie: I felt like I was at a wedding with all the beautiful Smiling Sunflowers all around. The scent of the Lavender was so relaxing and the Lavender Lemon aide was so refreshing. The entertainment was a joy and oh my goodness the views were amazing. This is working farm and I am amazed by the owners how they keep up with everything. I would recommend visiting and checking out the animals as well.
kathleen vautour: I have the opportunity to work at the Farm and feel so lucky to meet all the nice folks who visit. I like to offer tidbits on what there is to do to enjoy their time spent there. Enjoy the beautiful vista's, take lots of pictures, visit the animals, vendors, the barn with history and photos of the past then the gift shop with lavender themed products for sale. At the end of my shift, I get to talk to Amy about all the fun I had interacting with the customers !Hot days and rain on occasion happens, we do live in New England ! Love seeing many happycustomers enjoying their time !
Sarah: I highly recommend this place. The sunflower fields are beautiful and make for a wonderful afternoon. Marilyn was a kind knowledgeable farm worker who gave us the history of the farm, the family lineage and different varieties of sunflowers . Can’t wait to go back for the lavender fest .
Kim Mailloux: I visited this farm with a group to have some girl time and to enjoy the sunflowes. Beautiful farm with friendly staff. Seems like it would be a great place for families also, there were animals, henna, a gift shop, and other local vendors. I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back in the Spring to enjoy the lavender in bloom.
Amruta Bhende: waste of time and money
Mahesh Bubanale: The most overrated and over priced Sunflower fest. Please don't go by looking at pictures on their website (no chevy in field no bike in field and of course very less sunflowers) . Sunflower fest started on August 27 3 pm expectation was to have bright big many sunflowers but to add disappointment there were few sunflower and most of them were dried or small. Spent $60 as admission fee for 3 people and what we got as experience is nothing but disappointment.I will suggest people to go farm like Colby Farm where entry fees are less (way cheap) and having many sunflower that you don't have to search for sunflowers to have good pictures. Addition to all you have to buy everything - $17 per person + to have single flower pay $2 , lavender lemonade full of ice in small glass and little lemonade around it for $3.Save money and save time , go somewhere else for Sunflower fest.
Isac Vieira: Beautiful view. The buzzing of bees, the horses, and the Flora makes this farm perfect for a relaxing getaway! Our second day in and we love it. It’s on Airbnb.
Shannon Amore: So cute!
