Lisa Shaw: Though I've been her many times and love it, last night my husband and I along with 2 of our good friends attended a Alejandro Fernandez Wine Dinner here for the first time and was excellent. It was so much fun and the hosts were knowledgeable, funny and sincere! They made us all feel like welcome guests in their home! The food, was amazing and paired perfectly with the wines! The staff was also top notch, especially the Director of Operations, Lisa, with her warm smile and attention to detail in all aspects of hospitality! We will definitely do this more often! Devdav Newar: A great Spanish restaurant in the heart of Worcester. Went on trying a lot of things and everything tasted so good and authentic. Every Tapas dish is good for 2 people so order accordingly. We ordered shrimp, lamb, pork and some veggie options. All of them tasted incredible. For the mains we got two portions of the Paella, one vegetarian and one non-vegetarian. They both tasted too too good. A great Spanish restaurant for a date night or a dinner with friends and family.

My drink , the passion fruit sangria, was perfect and it was a balance of sour and sweet not just all sugar.Bailey was an incredibly efficient server and everything came out perfectly timed.Our food was insanely good. We did the dinner for 2 for $90. Our 2 cheese board choices were duck pastrami and fried goat cheese. They paired perfectly together.We got 7 tapas including, croquettes, scallops wrapped in bacon, grilled octopus, mahi mahi, rice& cheese balls, chicken thigh, and the shrimp burger. Every single one was a slam dunk. The portions were perfect. My husband and I are foodies and we can eat and we left very full.We did get churros and the bread pudding and again both were very balanced on the sweetness. Nothing was overtly sweet.Can’t say enough good about the food, service, and atmosphere. We had a perfect dinner, and even though we live an hour away we will make sure to drive back.Parking: We found very easy street parking because it was a Sunday but they did say there was parking around back I believe. Just beware of the apartment parking across the street we heard they do tow.

Frederick Wright: Charming and cozy cocktail bar with very flattering lighting, great date night spot. Walls are hung with local art, mixologists are knowledgeable and friendly, and the drinks are quite polished. Food options are limited to charcuterie and cheese.

Paul West: On the positive note the craft cocktails looked great and you could observe the bartenders skill and passion for the craft. They have a very good selection of liquor and will likely have your favorite. There was no dinner menu as the description suggests! There is a selection of charcuterie and cheese plates. We ordered a small. Gouda plate. I love a good aged smoked Gouda. About an ounce of Gouda, nothing special and some probably Pepperidge Farm crackers. There was music playing, despite Bose style speakers mounted throughout it sounded like it came from an 80s boom box in the back. Now this may be due to the older track, unfortunately music recorded 50+ years ago do not have the fidelity our systems are capable of today. Go for the drinks.

He definitely knows his whiskey - Scotch/Bourbon/Canadian/Irish :Hardly you'll find a Yamazaki Single18 Yr in any good bar in any city (I saw it in one Whiskey bar in DC however they are consistently ranked in top 10-15 in the country). Yes - The muse has one.This is one place where you come in to have 1 or a few nicely made cocktails with some interesting condiments(Ask him about the cherries he puts in a manhattan or a Old fashioned). Maximum RobespierreXVII (Max): Great bar you need to check out if you're looking for something to do in Worcester. They have a great selection of whiskey's including Bourbons Ryes, Scotches, and even Japanese whiskey. Atmosphere was great, the bartender was very attentive and helpful. I will be back.

Loree Karagiorgas: We enjoy going here when we go to Hanover Theater. The drinks and food are good, although a little overpriced. We accept the prices in exchange that it is very close to the theater. The reason for the 4-star review is that they do not open all time at 6 pm. We went to the Hanover Theater on April 1st for the Donna Summer show. We parked at the federal garage around 6:30 pm. We planned on visiting this place for drinks. They were closed with not a soul in sight. We ended up going somewhere else. Just disappointed that they are not consistent with opening time.

The 2 servers walked by our table multiple times each, tending to the other guests, wiping down tables and focusing on their sidework. I must smell repulsive or something 😕 I won’t take it personally. Menu is pretty small for food, so if you’re coming here to eat think light noshing. Incredible whiskey menu, I’m genuinely disappointed I didn’t get the chance to get a glass, offering 1, 1.5 & 2 oz pours

The cigar selection was good, atmosphere great, walk in humidor was perfect. If your a drinker the selection of draft beers and hard liquor was phenomenal.

Leigh: Michaels has gone down hill as of recently. This is a place my friends & I frequent (weekly). As of recently the staff is not friendly and appear to be under the influence. The last two times they mischarged our cards. One for $100 and the other for $1,900. They laughed and said sometimes when entering the tip an extra zero may be hit in error- both times was with the bigger woman bartender. It took 45 minutes for them to attempt to figure out. Really disappointed as it used to be a really lovely cigar lounge.

Francis A: I’d only been here once about 7 or 8 years ago in a drunken haze with friends. Came back today mid day on a Tuesday and I’m happy I did. Place is amazing. Humidor is well stocked with a great selection of sticks. You actually make your purchase right inside of the humidor which I found super convenient. The bartender was very helpful in making sure I was set with my water and lemon without judgement. Sat all the way in the back alone in the dark and listened to Christmas music and the banter of the patrons out front having a great time. The vibe is great! I’ll be back soon!

Being a smoker myself i did feel they could use one more exhaust to pump out the smoke(after 9PM on a weekend) as it might get stuffy later in the night with more people.The people behind the bar was great andwelcoming. Didnt try their cocktails however they seemed to have a lot of good variety of whiskey.Thats what i had. yeah bourbon in a cigar bar. haha.Overall a cool hangout place esp if u like to smoke (cigars or cigs and they do also have hookah/ shisha). One of the places I try to go to check out some live music(yes thursdays - sundays) and just unwind.

Tristan LaLiberte: I was visiting for the holidays and my friend wanted to go here because it's one of his favorite places. They have a sign that's only state IDs but I figured they'd accept my military ID since it's federal and I had already used it at other bars on Shrewsbury street. Instead the bartender angrily told me "only state IDs. I've never even seen anything like this before" and threw my ID down on the table at me instead of handing it back to me. She then told me I could leave because she couldn't serve me. My friend was very embarrassed after having talked about how much he liked going there and liked the staff. He explained that she was a new bartender and they weren't all like that. Needless to say that's all I needed to know I'd never go back. I've never had that happen to me before. If you don't accept a military ID just say so and hand it back.The bar itself is also very dirty.

Meg: Love Armsby Abby. It's one of the best places in the area. Mac and Cheese is literally to DIE for and they have the best cocktails in worcester (I am a certified bar tender ;)). It's very busy because it's amazing - but make the trip. It is worth it. Recently I had an odd experience where they were putting time limits on several tables. I had a reservation at 6 and they put these time limits to 730 on our table (and other patrons) for "other reseevations". I have never seen this and found it EXTREMELY off-putting. The dinner date we has been looking forward to for over a week just didn't have the relaxation we were looking for. Disappointed in that. Food was still excellent!

Carl Cervini: Food is always spectacular! I do alot of take out and it's always piping hot and ready to eat. Ready for Prime Rib season. Bring it on.

Scott: We went here on a Sunday afternoon, the place was half full. The bartender Hanna was nice, attentive, and the folks in the kitchen came out to see if we were enjoying our meal. I got a burger with bacon and BBQ sauce, my friend ordered a burger with fried jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. The burgers were delicious, they were cooked perfectly medium with a pink center and very juicy.The tator kegs were a surprise, I was expecting tots, these have bacon, scallions & cheddar.They have a big selection of beers and whiskey.Five stars and 2 thumbs up.Thank you Hanna and the entire staff.

Brenda Bombard: We were so excited to try Buck's after seeing so many raving reviews on social media and on here. Sadly, it wasn't at all what we expected. Our server was absolutely lovely. Perfectly professional! It was a Tuesday night and it wasn't very busy so you would think the food would be as fresh as fresh can be. Hubby ordered a beer and the "Hot Mess" burger. I had a delicious Margarita and "The Cure" burger. Each came with a choice of sides. Again, rave reviews encouraged me to order the fries and my husband opted to go with the Onion Strings. I included a picture of my burger. And at first sight I was in awe! You can see by my picture it LOOKED delish! That's where it ended. Ordered our burgers medium and medium rare. Neither came even close to those temps. Both were medium well. The meat was seasoned well and tasty but just way over cooked. Let's talk toppings! "The Cure" comes with thick sliced bacon, tater keg (which is supposed to be a large tater tot with cheese inside) a fried egg and Buck sauce. Here we go...I already mentioned the overcooked burger, so let's move on to deconstruction. The brioche roll was lovely. Fresh and buttery. The bacon was stacked and crisp and perfect. When I cut into the Burger to release the golden yolk I waited for the "run". And waited. And waited. The egg, even though it looks perfectly sunny side up, the yolk was hard. Didn't budge. As if it were cooked earlier in the day and then cold held until it needed to go on the burger. That was disappointing. The yolk running and blending with the beef is the only reason to put it on. The tater keg was lost. There was only one of these kegs that was flattened to the point of it being hash browns under the egg and no sight of cheese. The Buck sauce had no flavor. After all that the fries were the most disappointing, believe it or not. The were dry, over cooked, hollow shoestring fries. Over seasoned with season salt. It was as though they were cooked ahead of time, held and refried to heat them back up. Being a chef for 30+ years I don't always expect perfection, but, I do expect edible. Our whole meal, which was as mentioned, the two burger plates, one margarita and two beers, came to a total of $70 including the $20 tip for our amazing server. We probably won't be back. Too many rookie mistakes for a place billed as the best burger in Worcester. Big doesn't always equal better people! Remember that!

Chris Whitehouse: If no stars was an option I’d be giving it.Will never be back, called before I drove 45 mins. Said they would be open well past. Get all the way there with 4 others to watch pats game drink and eat and the door was locked. Ridiculous.
