Ian Tracy: While the flowers and accessories were delivered on time (thank you for that), they unfortunately did not look particularly healthy upon arrival, and ended up wilting within 3-4 days despite feeding and watering daily. These were not an inexpensive investment, so unfortunately I was disappointed that the recipient could not enjoy these as much as I would have hoped. I wish others have better luck here...
Scott Siegler: On me and my wife’s first Valentine’s Day as a married couple, I wanted it to be extra special so I ordered roses from here to be delivered to her office that morning. While I appreciate that the order was delivered on time, I was disappointed in the quality we received. Some of the roses were already dead at the time they were delivered.Update: After seeing my review, Kate from Winston Flowers reached out and went out of her way to ensure an upgraded arrangement was delivered to our apartment first thing the next morning. We appreciate the excellent customer care from Kate!

I was completely pleased. And the woman who took my order on the phone was very efficient and kind. Definitely a five-star experience.

Sherry Reddix: I ordered a light pink peony bouquet for my graduation, but when I received it, I noticed most of the flowers were white and the way it was wrapped was with a large excess of plastic, making it look bridal and also awkward. I expressed my discontent with the owner and he appeared combative that I questioned the quality of the bouquet but also incompetent, unable to fix the bouquet because he physically didn’t know how to make it. Luckily, I was reimbursed for half of what I paid ($50 of $100) but I had to fight hard for that refund. I promise you, Trader Joe’s would have delivered an exceptionally better bouquet for a quarter of the price and without the attitude. PLEASE DONT SPEND ANY MONEY HERE.

Wenqing Liu: I have Lotus Design as the florist for my wedding in 10/2017, and I am so happy I made the right decision! On our first meet up, Jimmie generously set up all kinds of flower arrangements(bouquet, centerpiece, boutonniere, etc.) according to the pictures which I emailed him before. Other florists won't do this - they only set up arrangements for trial after you already paid the deposit. He even gave me a small flower arrangement to bring home after our first meet up, and these all happened before I paid any deposit! Two weeks before our wedding date, we had a final meet up with Jimmie to finalize all details about our flowers. This time, he set up even more arrangements, including the huge standing vase arrangements for our outdoor ceremony.On our wedding day, Jimmie delivered our bouquets & boutonnieres in person to our hotel room , and saying congratulations, which is a big surprise! All the flowers for our ceremony were so pretty and in great shape. Our local guests were luck that they got to take some of the centerpieces and cocktail hour flowers home. We took home the 2 huge flower arrangements used for our ceremony, and the flowers lasted for a whole week!With such great flowers and service, Lotus Designs' price is certainly on the lower end, and Jimmie made sure we followed our budget - he never oversell any flowers, and if a flower is too expensive for the season, he would point that out and offer alternative flower suggestion. We spent $2500 on our wedding flowers, and if we go with any other florists in the area, it would be definitely over $3000.
Maura McGovern: Jimmie created the most amazing florals for our wedding this past September 2017. He not only worked within our budget but worked with us to translate exactly what we were imagining into reality. We live out of town and he was flexible and met with us whenever we were visiting Boston. He is so knowledgeable and used his expertise to provide advice and recommendations. We were able to re-purpose the flowers used during our ceremony for our head table. I have had so many guests from the wedding ask us who did our bouquets and centerpieces. Jimmie really is just absolutely incredible and we can’t say enough great things about both him and our wedding experience!

Hope Milne: We were blessed to be able to hire Orly and her team for our entire wedding weekend! She created a custom design plan and worked with us from the beginning to understand our vision and bring it to life. We asked for wild, untamed design elements that weren’t traditional. We gave requests like, “we want texture, we want people to want to touch it, we want nothing symmetrical, we want to embrace our surroundings” and then let her run with it. What she and her team created was something out of a fairy tale. When we met for our floral trial she listened and adjusted as needed. She created an entirely different aesthetic for our rehearsal dinner, while still managing to maintain an overall cohesive vibe for the weekend. Her work helped bring the outdoors in and she embraced designing for our outdoor winter ceremony without any complaints. She was flexible and super comfortable to work with. Everyone on her team was a blast to be around and I will 100% be hiring them again. If you want someone who treats florals with the approach of an artist, this is who you need to hire.

The person taking my order was oddly very rude to me, and even hung up the phone in the middle of our conversation before confirming the delivery. The details he did share werent even accurate (said it would not be a cube, but a 12-14 inch white vase) and ended up delivering 3 flowers in a cube. For the price point and quality, not worth it at all. Wish I had used a different local company!
