Lucy Foster: M J Nicholls has helped us on two projects so far and did a fantastic job on both. The first was a very intensive dry well installation. They came back twice to repair/update a few issues with the installation, per my request, but it has been working perfectly ever since. The installation process was smooth and the result had been a lifesaver to prevent flooding in our backyard, which would in turn back up into our basement. The cost in doing so was reasonable and well worth it in the long run. (Photos show what the yard looked like before and after. I've also included pictures of how bad the flooding was in the yard)We also had them repair our damaged vinyl fence and the repair was done quickly, thoroughly, and seamlessly. Michael Perrone: MJ Nicholls installed a new set of granite steps and walkway, and we couldn't be happier. Matt was super responsive during the sales process, and they ended up installing a week earlier than scheduled. The crew was professional, the work is excellent, and they actually left our yard in better shape than they found it. (When they were cleaning up, they used some leftover loam and grass seed to fix a nearby spot where I'd just had a tree stump removed.) We've gotten a ton of compliments (now we just need to re-side our house so it look as good as the walkway!). We will definitely hire MJ Nicholls again.

The service for the main roads is okay, however the service to clear the driveways is slipshod at best. The recent snowfall is a perfect example of this complaint. I woke up to find my entire driveway covered with ice as a result of the poor work effort done by the technician. This is not the first time I have experienced this situation.

Joseph Maxwell: Mark and his crew redesigned and installed a new backyard for us. Most of it had been covered in rocks, old stone flower beds needed to be removed, and there was a lot of overgrowth. Mark was a straight shooter with the quote and what we were getting in regards to service. He was here every day with his team leading the operation. We had issues in the past with other landscaping companies where the person we talked to was not onsite for the project. Mark was onsite, and was operating the bobcat that needed to remove all the stone. He is very hands on and was available for questions throughout the installation and after they were done. Mark has a great deal of knowledge and expertise and was able to come up with a great plan for our backyard and execute on it. Our son now has a safe backyard to play in, which includes a play area in the back. I highly recommend his services.

Then they come back afterwards to finish it up. That makes it a lot easier to get out if you need to leave during the storm.They have a crew that comes with shovels and snow blowers to do our sidewalks, paths, landings. They also dig out around the dumpsters which is great, so the trash pickup can happen when the trucks show up.I find they care about doing a good job, which makes a big difference when you're dealing with the frustrations of a snow storm.

m santelli: We had MAS Landscaping do a yard clean-up on our home's entire yard end of August 2017. The yard was a mess, so to speak, after two years of little to no maintenance. The yard is quite cumbersome too, as far as it's landscape (large rock croppings, sloped back and side area, gravel, woodsy, brick walkway and large front and side deck areas). MAS did a great job removing all brush, leaves, fallen branches , excess lawn debri, pruning and trimming bushes/trees, and remove unnecessary ground plants and vines. Mark was professional and easy to work/communicate with. Him and the MAS Team were professional and it was obvious they took pride in their work. We only use MAS for a yard clean-up however I have no doubt that their other landscaping services as just as great. Thank you MAS for a job well done!
