Kennedy Moore: Cute little coffee shop local to Northeastern. They had outdoor seating all winter long with a cute little covered and heated area. The wifi was easy to access and the drinks were made pretty quick. The iced chai latte was watery, but their other drinks/coffees are good. Overall, a cute little place to grab coffee with a friend or do some work.

Nova Sarver: The design of this place is spectacular. It is cozy, bright, and not too loud. They have outlets and wifi if you need to get some work done. I got a cortado and a poppy seed scone which were both up to par. The only issue I have with this place is the music they are play is annoying in my opinion. It is like gospel guitar music... not my cup of tea. Especially to work to. Anyway, love this place definetly will come back... just with headphones.

Natalia Carollo: A cozy little coffee shop. Their chocolate croissant has more of a brioche texture rather than a flaky croissant but it was tasty nonetheless. The tea is lovely. The counter person was a bit grumpy when I inquired about whether they do a pot of tea or if my only options are a small or a large cup, so I'm hoping they were simply having a bad day. I'd love to return to try their sandwiches. The ambiance is very nice. The prices are very affordable.
Lana Shaban: This place is amazing I really don’t know what the negative reviews are saying. I’m not a coffee drinker so I wouldn’t know about that but I have their breakfast burritos almost everyday and it’s $7. Such an amazing price for Boston especially and it’s soooo delicious. All their food is amazing especially the Turkathon and it’s fresh and made on the spot. Their lemon scones are amazing too. My favorite place in Boston since I’ve moved there.

Betty Yu: Been coming here for years. Their seafood platter and Greek chicken kebab salad are my faves. The manager Sean is the nicest guy. Their tartar sauce is so much better than Clam Box.

Shaun Robinson: This is just an incredible store, especially for transit and map nerds. They have a huge selection of vintage maps, plus all the MBTA-brand apparel and knickknacks you could think of. They’ve even got old signs pulled straight out of stations and trains. A great stop if you’re visiting Harvard Square, which is just a few minutes south by car (or MBTA bus…).

J. F. II: I think like a lot of people who grew up in Boston AND rode the MBTA frequently AND are huge train fans, I have the same reaction: "How the heck am I JUST NOW making it to this store?!" First, note that the ACTUAL name of the store is WardMaps, but so many people know it by the website "MBTAgifts.com" that it basically goes by that name.Anyway, it's chock-full of just about all the MBTA memorabilia you could ask for-- from old schedules to big former actual train signs to, my favorite, train stop magnets, to, in "honor" of the COVID-19 pandemic, face mask with pictures of the various rapid transit trains on them. Since it's TECHNICALLY a maps store, it ALSO has some cool, mostly older maps of the Boston Area, plus some branded merchandise of the NYC Subway.Back to the magnets--WOW, CHEAP at $3.50! Where I've gotten them previously, Newbury Comics, charges $4.99, and the CambridgeSide Galleria cart on the second floor charges a whopping $5.99--and both their selections are limited to boot! I wouldn't be surprised if they had someone from each location just stops by WardMaps once a month and buys a handful and jacks up the price!!Cashier was really friendly and helpful too!

Wendy Law: I wish I had read the reviews before ordering online. The first order confirmation said up to 21 days for processing, but then when I contacted customer service, I got a generic response of “we’re extreme busy, orders taking 21 days or more to process” and they could not give me any other updates. It’s been almost a month now and still no update on delivery. 😡***Wow! After your response yesterday stating that my order would be shipped by the end of the week, now I get an email saying my order has been cancelled???!!! What kind of business are you running here!? This seems a bit retaliatory? I just wanted the products I ordered, never asked the order be cancelled! Horrible business! I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s office!***

Mo Shen: Horrible online customer service. I bought a birthday gift for a friend which did not even ship out 2 weeks after placing the order. I emailed them to cancel since it wouldn’t arrive on time. They gave a rude response as if I was at fault for not reading their FAQ about sale items (the FAQ made no mention of cancellations about sale items, and based on a few of the reviews below this store has no problem with randomly cancelling items even after an order is placed). Honestly, if they had just apologized and gave me an estimated shipment date I would have been fine even if they didn’t allow cancellations. But the customer service was abysmal, responses were obviously super low effort or copy-pasted, and still no update on when my order will even be SHIPPED, let alone delivered.

You get the BS canned answer that they cant do anything. The truth is that they can and they dont want to.Disputing this with my card company. Most of the recent reviews on this place are negative, I wish I knew that before. Cue the owner somehow blaming this atrocious customer service and bad business practice on me below. Do the right thing and process my refund and I'll change my review.UPDATE: After disputing the transaction with my card company I was able to finally get a cancellation notice and refund. I would advise anybody in the same situation do the same thing. They make it difficult on purpose.Bodega could be the last shoe store on Earth and I'd go barefoot. Never again.

But I soon realized “you get what you pay for”Opened my box to find one shoe box damaged. I ignored that part in my complaint because you can’t wear the shoe box. But the way my box was packed , was wild in itself. If a company is so busy that you must wait 21 business days for an order to ship , you would think said company would be invested in proper packaging.I checked the first box and found a clearly worn pair of shoes. Clearly worn with scuff marks, toe box stains , outsole stains and all. When I reached out I was told I can keep the shoes and get 15% off or return them for a full refund , and then make another order. But then at that point I must wait another 21 BUSINESS days for my shoes. All of this FOR BODEGA’S MISTAKE.Not only am I asked to be patient for extended shipping times , I’m also asked to tolerate and be understanding of Bodega’s poor processes and execution.Why is there no urgency in fixing your mistake ? Why is there no formal exchange process? Why no accountability, here as a business ?Whoever reads this be careful shopping online here. If you buy any sales items you’re not going to be treated like a regular customer 🤯🤯.

Blank Facee: DO NOT ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY ! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & NO PROFESSIONALISM!I ordered 3 shirts from them recently . In the initial confirmation email they informed me due to high volume order would ship within 21 days. I was fine with that… After about 4 full weeks(28 days) and not being sent , I contacted them to see if I could cancel my order, they told me I couldn’t because my shirts were sale items. Not ideal but this isn’t even my issue.. it gets worse.The issue is the items still weren’t shipped for another few days and all of a sudden they told me one of my shirts would be canceled & refunded.. they did process a partial refund. However, one email said a specific shirt would be canceled but the shipping info said that same shirt had been sent. From there I knew something was fishy but I had no option but to wait until my package arrived for final results. Upon receiving my package today ,I noticed they only sent ONE SHIRT.. I waited over a month for a package, which was almost 2 weeks longer than they told me , just to only receive 1/3 of what I originally ordered !! Never again!! This has been the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had .
DJ: Should've of read the reviews before making a purchase online regarding their unreasonable fulfillment time. Ordered my item a week ago (6+ business days), and it still hasn't been shipped out yet. WHY NOT PUT OUT A DISCLAIMER BEFORE MAKING THE PURCHASE THAT THE FULFILLMENT MAY TAKE UP TO 21 DAYS ( why on earth is this your online order policy? just stop doing online orders period if this is the case). Anyways when I reached out their response was "Thank you for reaching out DJ and for your patronage. Your last order is currently being fulfilled. You will receive an email with your tracking number as soon as it leaves our facility."..........that was four days ago.INCOMPETENT

Paul Keady: Leaving one star because I have to. Absolutely ridiculously rude bouncer. The bouncer randomly thought I’d been drinking so didn’t let me in, even though I was not drunk. Every single person that enters bodega has been drinking. I was disrespected and even when my girlfriend told him she was drunk he said she could go in but I couldn’t. The bouncer just decided to single me out for no reason, again I was not intoxicated. He would not give us an explanation and wouldn’t even let us speak to a manager when we asked to. I have never encountered someone so rude and entitled in my life. I will never go here again and I highly suggest no one else ever attempt to go here. I quite literally was completely fine and told I could not enter for no reason and was not even allowed to talk to anyone. I highly suggest you do not waste your time here

Joshua Parker: This might be a great place to shop “in store.” Please be warned though for all that read this - their customer service is absolutely atrocious. I’m not just being hateful when I say that it really shouldn’t even exist. They literally never give a personal response. It’s just automated garbage that is completely unhelpful. And I seriously wish anyone good luck buying from them online. My first experience ordering online was a 3 week wait period before waiting to ship. It never did so I finally cancelled. I tried again a few months later. Surprisingly, it went well. So I thought, I’ll give them another try. Well, same as before. Waiting for weeks on a shipment with no updates or customer service help of any kind. In a world that is substantially based on e-commerce, this kind of service is absolutely unacceptable. They need to do away with online orders and stick to selling in shop, I’ve heard the shop is a good experience.

Jonathan G. Westerling: Excellent store for "tea snobs" like me. Loose leaf tea with knowledgeable sales people. Best part is that the generous "sample" size bags are 10g, which is enough to make 3 cups. You can either 1) share a tasting with someone else and/or 2) take two servings to decide that you want to come back and take the plunge for a much larger bag. Thanks for being there!
Patricia Jibben: My favorite tea is Jasmine pearls. It can be brewed several times and has a wonderful smell while brewing.They have several varieties of teas both herbal and tea leaf blends. They have multiple sizes to choose from including a sample size. I usually get 4 oz bags and then try a new tea.Fun place to visit and helpful staff. Clean and well organized and the teas are always high quality.

You can get sample sizes of literally everything they have in there, and larger sizes for when you find something you really enjoyed. Everything is organized very neatly and in sections (black tea, white tea, oolongs, herbals etc) so it's not very overwhelming. If you visit while Jason is working there, you are in for a treat! His enthusiasm for tea is very infectious and he knows the answer to just about any question you might have - he is a fantastic salesman and very fun to talk to! MEM recently brought back carafes of hot tea samples for you to try while you browse. I love visiting MEM Tea and all of the tea I've purchased from here so far!
Toby Rockwell: If you're a tea drinker, this is Mecca, a place of pilgrimage. Vast assortment of tea of all kinds white green black pu-ehr and of course matcha. It's a great place to talk to the staff to expand your horizons on the tea front. If you have a couple favorites let them know you're inclinations you will come out with half a dozen new good friends in the tea world.
