Paige Hart-Smith: Alla is the best! I can’t say enough good things about Alla or the whole FT staff. Everyone is encouraging, welcoming, and professional. In the past 6 months I have learned so much about my body and my fitness. I look forward to each session with Alla and appreciate her professional attitude and ability to motivate me at every session. The gym is clean, bright, and has every piece of equipment you could possibly need. I feel lucky to have found this place and Alla.

Very attentive to any areas of concern you may have (such as improving back pain). Also exceptionally motivational and encouraging. They know when to push a bit but also when I have reached my max. Lastly, they are a great resource in general for all health needs/advice. So happy with my choice.
Brad Nolan: Positive:ProfessionalismIn month 9 of a pandemic that has disrupted almost every aspect of life, including our activity levels, FT has helped me remain resilient with regard to fitness. I’m in better shape and am moving with greater fluidity than when this mess began, and that’s in large part due to the adaptability of the FT team.

Tia Zhan: update for the new location:Everyone here is nice and caring. Perfect personalized coaching, tailored to my needs all the time. Love Alla, Dan, Kathy, and of course JP who organizes and manages everything :) The new location is great also for orange line commute or biking as I don't own a car.I like that the personal training sessions are very private and motivating. All the personal trainers are so nice. My trainers Alla and Rob definitely know what they are doing, and they can quickly see my mistakes/weak parts and effectively guide me through the exercises. I've become a lot more confident in my body and soul. :) Thx!

Sara Trubiano: Joining Fitness Together has been one of the best lifestyle choices I've made. I have never been stronger or felt healthier. Every trainer I've worked with is incredibly professional, knowledgable and supportive in helping me reach my goals. The experience is truly personal and customized to help me reach my specific goals (even as those goals continue to change) and the trainers truly listen to my needs and wants and tailor workouts and nutrition/lifestyle advice to help me get to where I want to be.Kathy and Alla are the greatest!! :)
Sarah Quinlan: I joined Fitness Together after many years at BSC. I'm fairly motivated in regards to staying fit (with cardio as my strength) but the past 2 years at FT have given me a new, more positive outlook on weight training and what I my body can accomplish. The staff/esp my trainer has been the force in keeping my head strong not just my body!!!
margot mims: Super smart, educated and motivated trainers. I looked around and found nothing compares to this company. It's a gem.
Nancy Grigor: Jp is awesome and extremely attentive and knowledgeable about all aspects of fitness. He really is the best around. Fabulous! !!!!!!!!

Jenn Menzer Wellness: what do users think?
Ty Guinn: Thank you Jen! for an amazing training session in flexibility and meal prepping you really know your stuff and the tools that you have given me to continue to work on being the best version of myself are Priceless and I wanted to thank you once again you're amazing!#keepchanging lives!#pet lovers#dog lovers#love up
Dawn-Michelle Smith: Jenn is AMAZING to work with on so many levels. She made our weekly sessions so fun due to her funny, straight forward, no-nonsense style. She got my body "wedding ready" and I can still to this day do 12+ push ups, something I could never do before. She gave me endless recipe's and great "swaps" for sugar and other processed, bad for you foods. I'm now lucky enough to be able to Skype with her to keep myself on track. I get just as much out of it and look forward to it every week. She keeps me on track both physically and mentally and I can't imagine my life without her!
Desiree Rogers: I have worked with Jenn for over 3 years and she is a fantastic trainer! She is professional, knowledgeable, patient, allows for individual differences, conscientious, reliable, funny and very passionate about health, fitness and nutrition. She always asks about any new aches, pains, or injuries and easily adapts our workouts to accommodate any unexpected physical limitation. Due to my travel schedule, Jenn and I alternate between in-person and Skype sessions. Her flexibility to accommodate my travel allows me to maintain my 2x/week training schedule. I would highly recommend the Skype option for those with a busy travel or commuting schedule. From my perspective, there is no qualitative difference and the technology option takes away all the excuses, such as "I'm out of town", "having car trouble", etc.Jenn's expertise, style and variety of training activities means I'm never bored but always challenged. I had several goals when I initiated a personal training experience: muscle definition, strength, body toning, increased flexibility, improved balance--my time with Jenn has helped to improve all those areas. She has worked with me through a broken foot, sprained ankle, tender knees and strained neck!We all consider personal training for a variety of reasons and at different stages of our life. Although I'm in my 60's, I understand and believe in finding the time to take care of myself. I wish I had the discipline to strength train on my own, but I have shamelessly accepted the fact that I need the support. Jenn, through her personal training services, provides a quality of life that is extremely important. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone, at any age, who wants coaching and support in the area of health, fitness or nutrition.
Nancy Marcucci: Jenn has been my trusted coach and trainer for over 10 years. She gets to know her clients really well. Jenn listens and figures out how to motivate and push you to achieve your goals. She is a life long learner - so you get the benefit of that as she passes along her knowledge and expertise in both fitness and nutrition. Jenn is one of the most caring, passionate and dedicated coaches/trainers I have worked with and seen .. and yes she makes even the most challenging moments fun !
Kate DeForest: Jenn is a fantastic trainer and coach! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the human body and will work with you to devise the best training plan that takes any physical limitations into account while still challenging you to do more and more. If there's a weight loss or personal training goal you want to accomplish, Jenn will help you get there. Love her!!!
Laura Gray: I turned to Jenn when I needed to get back to the gym after taking time off to recuperate from 10 surgeries in 24 months. Jenn’s knowledge, grit and compassion were exactly what I needed to regain strength, balance and wellness. Jenn customized workouts to focus on core strength while considering my surgical repairs. She has a great understanding of wellness, both mind and body, and lives it every day. Jenn constantly challenges you while making sure you have fun. She is devoted to her clients and is a very motivating coach. She will help you find ways to fit more wellness into your life. Whether it’s nutrition, cardio, yoga, and/or meditation, Jenn will empower you with confidence and motivation to achieve your goals. I’m forever grateful to Jenn for all her help and support.
Stephanie Greenstein: Jenn is an extremely knowledgeable and trusted coach - and not to mention she will keep you laughing along the way. But, what I love about Jenn the most is her non-BS approach - she is honest and and intelligent and knows whats best, which makes her a great mentor and resource for men and women looking to reach their personal health goals.

American Academy of Personal Training Boston: what do users think?
B F: My name is Brian Ferris and I took the training course last summer. I learned everything I needed and more to become a trainer! I got a job shortly after graduating, and still have that job. My instructor was Mark Samara. He was great. His experience speaks for itself, but he was patient, knowledgeable, witty, and an all around great guy. I have recommended people to check this place out multiple times. I waited to give this review because I wanted to work as a trainer first. I am never caught off guard while working and I owe that all to AAPT!Thanks
Johnson Levels: An amazing facility for not only hands on training but in-classroom as well! Mark S. was my teacher while I was attending AAPT, I can't imagine what it would be like to have anyone else. He always made everyone feel welcome and safe, and is just a great knowledgeable person that you always want to be around. I'd also like to note that AAPT found me a job right out of school, I'll be working at a strength and conditioning facility next week! If you are looking to become a personal trainer I really wouldn't look anywhere else, it's been a life changing 3 months that I won't forget. Best wishes to all AAPT staff and my fellow grads...

The hands on experience they provide is so key to the learning and absorption of knowledge gained in every class. This is the biggest reason why I went to AAPT and it did not let me down. My instructor was Mark Samara - he is one of the friendliest people I have ever met and super knowledgeable guy who practices what he preaches. Stacey Schaedler Strength: what do users think?
Naeemah Smith: Super knowledgeable and Stacey's guaranteed get you motivated
Laci Weeks: I did Stacey’s Progress Not Perfection nutrition program and it was, hands down, the best nutrition program I have done! I am also a coach in the fitness industry, and it’s extremely difficult to find fitness professionals that will tell you the truth and provide great results! Even though the program was online (I live in a different state than Stacey), Stacey made it very interactive and personal. Stacey genuinely cares about the individuals she works with! I got great results with her guidance and have not only learned strategies for myself but for my clients as well. Stacey is the real deal!
Chanel Benoit: I started working with Stacey a little more than three months ago to help me get in shape for my wedding. I love her approach - I feel like I've (finally) found a workout routine that is sustainable and that I actually look forward to. Stacey keeps it fresh and challenging with workouts that change every so often, and she's taught me A LOT - from my posture and breathing to basic nutrition and how to put on muscle. Her personality + tunes are a plus. Highly recommend.
Susan Miele: I started training with Stacey about 3 months ago. She has converted me in this short time from someone who really “didn’t like” strength training to a dedicated 3x per week participant in her small groups and personal 1:1 sessions. Stacey takes the time to understand what you need to be healthier and stronger overall, ensuring correct form, and adjusting for your needs. Her progress over perfection mantra creates an open environment for me to build the functional strength I need to stay healthy as I age. Her great sense of humor, lack of judgement, and approachability make something that was formerly quite intimidating to me so accessible. I am grateful that I made that first appointment and look forward to getting stronger every week with Stacey’s hands on guidance and support.
Emily W. Matthews: Stacey has taught me so much! Her training is focused on making sure you’re doing the exercises correctly to avoid injury, as well as most efficiently so you’re not wasting any time or energy. I’ve never once felt injured after leaving her studio - she has actually troubleshooted various injuries I’ve had outside of the gym and worked correcting exercises into my program. She considers the whole picture, whether it’s breathing, self-myofascial release, nutrition, anything that makes your body feel good. You can tell it’s really important to Stacey that you understand what you’re doing and why. I was never into strength training before kids but now I love it and wish I had started with Stacey sooner.
Anya G: I started training with Stacey 4 years ago. Before I started taking her classes at South Boston Yoga I thought I knew everything about weight training, boy was I wrong. After a few months of her classes I decided to sign up for her personal training sessions and I could not be happier about that decision. I struggled with lower back pain and Stacey quickly realized that my horrible form while lifting weights was not helping the issues I had with my lower back. Not only did Stacey help me improve my form but she also geared my workouts around fixing the issues with my lower back. She helped me strengthen other muscles so that I stopped relying on my lower back to lift heavier weights. Any question or issue I may have Stacey has an answer for it whether it’s a different stretch, new breathing practice, or an exercise. She truly knows and understands the bodies of each individual client she has. Not only have I become stronger due to Stacey’s programs but I am also healthier, happier and more confident in my workout routine. I could not ask for a more dedicated trainer.
Raul Santiago: Stacey has taught me so much of what I know about diet and exercise. I spent so many years as a person that felt stuck in a body that NEEDED to be exercised and NEEDED to be restricted to a certain diet in order for it to work and look the way I wanted it to. It made every workout and every meal into a high stakes situation, and I found myself yoyoing between a “nice” and a “gross” body, and beating myself up over every food and exercise-related decision I made. I couldn’t make any of my strategies stick, because they ultimately placed too much stress and too much of a burden on myself to be sustainable.I started to work with Stacey with this mindset. Over time, she taught me how to make fitness and healthy eating part of my routine without letting it take over every fiber of my being and also how to have a healthier mindset when it comes to my body. On top of this healthier mindset and approach, I was able to achieve the progress and results I wanted! Her “progress not perfection” approach has changed how I approach my weight, exercise, and diet. One of the biggest things that I’ve gained through my time with Stacey is the ability to accept that not every bit of this fitness/healthy eating journey will be perfect, but you can always find meaningful signs of progress to keep you feeling strong. On top of all of this, she is an amazing person and trainer. She is so dedicated to her clients and works so hard to help us achieve our goals in a healthy way, and never makes you feel bad about your real life getting in the way. She is always understanding, but blunt and honest about what you need to do to get where you want to be and will always tell you the truth. She makes sure you not only focus on your workouts, but also that you focus on good recovery. Finally, you’ll never leave one of her workouts (whether in the small group or larger class setting) wanting more.I can confidently say that working with Stacey is the best thing I’ve ever done as part of this huge, endless journey that is fitness, bar none.
John Talanian: Thank you, Stacey, for nearly 11 years of training, nutrition coaching, support, and true friendship.I came to you having never used weights much less strength trained. I was just shy of a year out of rehab and scared to death about living life without my "crutches" and especially about working out despite being a varsity athlete in college. In a way that only you can, you were understanding, supportive, tough when you needed to be (pretty much every freaking workout!!), dedicated, and funny as hell! You always made me laugh; still do.In the time you've trained me I've gone from 217 pounds to a record low, as of yesterday, of 166 pounds. My body fat % has only been lower in college. I'm able to do anything you ask me to with a bar and weight plates, dumbbells, kettle bells, ropes, and even crank out 10-13 pull-ups.Your positive attitude towards life, even in the face of adversity, dedication to your clients (especially women), devotion to nutrition, excellence in postpartum advice/guidance, development of Smart Strength, countless entries into your blog where you open up your most intimate details of your life in the hopes that you may help even just one person, all combine to make YOU who you are. You've grown your business from nothing to a multifaceted business model that all revolves around helping another human. You are truly an inspiration to me and often times I recall some of your words of wisdom or tough love commentary to get me through a situation. I think all of your clients can relate to what I've said. You're consistent and unyielding in your determination to help others have a great life. All while being an incredible mother to Julia & Eva, wife to Anthony, and mom to your fur baby Tater.I'll miss my training sessions both with you as well as your AMAZING client base more than I can possibly express through words. You've assembled an amazing tribe. I hope to make some surprise visits to class when I'm able to get back to Boston. Until then I'll be sure to sign up for your Smart Strength program that I'll be able to do on my own on Martha's Vineyard.Thank you, truly, for everything.😊💛☀️🙏
Karen Bogle: When I started working with Stacey over 1.5 years ago, I was running about 5 miles a day three times a week coupled with spin classes. I liked being active, but as a result of my workout routine, I suffered from lower back pain and flexibility issues. I stretched a bit before/after running, but recognized I needed strength training to replace the bulk of my cardio workouts, Stacey helped me realize "less is more" and that strength training for me was key to addressing some of my issues to help make me stronger. Now I do strength training two times a week, walk a ton, supplement with a few spin classes and feel much better overall. Her motto "progress not perfection" is positive, motivating and manageable.I enjoy the morning workouts in a group setting. There's a supportive atmosphere in the gym. Stacey creates an individualized exercise program that I do for five weeks. Workouts focus on warm ups, and exercises that help strengthen my core, upper body, lower body and glutes!! She also offers the flexibility to fine tune an exercise or try something new during that timeframe. She offers advice to help me make needed corrections in my form and models the correct way to do an exercise to maximize the impact. As a result, my flexibility has improved and I definitely am stronger. In addition, I participated in Stacey's nutrition program and as a result I lost 5 pounds. I learned to increase my daily intake of protein which helped combat hunger. I also became more disciplined about cooking protein in advance for the week so it was easy to come home from work and pop something in the microwave to warm. A benefit, I became more aware of the importance of the mix of protein, carbs and fat in my diet.I highly recommend Stacey.
Nicole Rice: I could probably write a book about my experience with Stacey and how she has changed my life. But I'll try to keep this review short as I think many of us share similar stories about being unhappy with our bodies, with our lives, coming up with a thousand excuses for why timing isn't good or how xx fitness or nutrition approach is impossible, etc. So here it is and it's pretty simple: STACEY HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. And it's not just that I've lost weight and feel good - it's been changed to the core of my being. I started with the online nutrition program in January of 2018 and then started group training in April. And, months later, the nutrition program is MY way of existing. It's not some gimmick; it makes sense and it's doable and I feel a thousand times better and it is easy for me. I just do it, end of story. It's the same with Stacey's fitness plans. But really what I want to emphasize is this: Stacey models the type of behavior, commitment, vulnerability, humor, joy, love, strength, and support I want in my life. Stacey changes lives and I'm not sure she even knows it; she just does her thing, every single day, with integrity and energy and authenticity. And she does this through her classes, through her online programs and through social media. If you're not sure if she's the coach for you, just start following her on IG or FB and you'll be hooked within days.To summarize (I tried to keep it short but clearly I have a lot to say), Stacey has empowered me to get over my bullsh*t, to take risks (I bought a house in 2018 on my own!), to be vulnerable, to be open about my mental health challenges, to get outside more, to strive for better, to forgive myself for not being perfect (I got over that really fast after meeting Stacey), to swear more, and to essentially live my own life. She has inspired me in ways that can never be measured and I will be grateful to her forever for what she brings to my life.
ankita d: Stacey's mission in life is to help others feel incredible. She really commits to helping each one of her clients find their own magical balance of health, so we are all comfortable moving and shaking in our own skin. Stacey and I have worked together to revamp my diet so I can eat the kinds of foods I like, but still meet the macronutrient targets that my body needs. She has also helped me really embrace the "less is more" mantra of fitness. In fact, after six months of working out with Stacey (and zero time in the saddle), I CRUSHED my first Flywheel class, flying on torque of 41 when previously torque of 39 would kill me! And of course, I've seen improvements in my body - in fact, I've grown an inch taller thanks to all the core strengthening work Stacey's given me! Perhaps most importantly, Stacey creates an amazingly welcoming and accepting environment in her studio and a supportive community among her clients. We cheer each other on to lift heavier, go harder, and accomplish more. Even with 8 feet of snow outside, 0 degree temps, and the darkest February mornings, I actually look forward to my 7AM training sessions!
Karen Smith: A lifelong athlete, I started having back issues when I turned 40. After 3 rounds of PT, multiple visits to a chiropractor and 2 cortisone shots, I was finally feeling better, but was too scared to do much of any exercise for fear of injuring myself again. I wanted more than PT would give me, but I knew that I did not know how to make my exercise challenging and safe. That is when I found Stacey Schaedler, a strength and conditioning coach who works out of South Boston Yoga. Stacey listened to my history (L4-L5 disc issues), assessed my movement, assigned some corrective exercises and assured me that I was OK and ready to be challenged.Stacey challenged my pain, and helped me realize that even if I wasn't 100% I could still progress with simple modifications to stop the pain and build my strength. She challenged my idea of an effective workout and introduced strength work into my routine--body weight exercises I could do at home; kettlebell training to improve my core stability; and lots and lots of lunges (fire those glutes to protect my back!). She is also keen on building into our week rest and recovery days. The small group workout sessions are perfect for me. Everyone works on their own routine, but we provide support and encouragement to move through our workouts together. Stacey is always available, and will correct postures, make adjustments to exercises if needed and will ensure that we are moving correctly, in alignment and towards health. In the 7 years that I have worked with Stacey, I have dropped inches, lost a few pounds, gained them back in muscle and have realized how strong and able I am. My back feels pretty damn good, too!If you are ready to change the way you think about exercise; about exercise after injury; about the way you eat and the way you think about your overall health, I strongly encourage you to contact Stacey Schaedler.
Allison Jarmanning: Stacey is the best trainer I've ever worked with. She's not just making you work hard -- she's making you work smart. Her plans are personalized to your weaknesses and strengths. She motivates you to do your best. Each week, she pushes you to lift a little more, or make the moves a little bit harder. I highly recommend her small group training. Paired with her larger group classes, I feel stronger and better than ever. I'm so glad I found her!
jaclyn schelzi: After I had my son and was cleared at my 6 week appointment I was so anxious to lose the baby weight I jumped way too fast and aggressively into exercising again. Unfortunately this resulted in a pelvis stress fracture that significantly impacted my everyday life. I am so thankful I found Stacey as I navigate this injury and get back to a better, stronger me. Stacey is extremely knowledgeable , supportive and encouraging. She goes above and beyond- working with my PT and chiropractor to make sure everyone is on same page and treatment plan, checking in about my appointments and so on. She has completely changed the way I view and approach exercise in my life and taught me SO much about how to move safely in everyday mom life. I only wish I knew these things then so I was kinder and more gentle on my body. I will absolutely continue to work with Stacey as I continue to heal and when I am ready for baby #2 and beyond. I HIGHLY recommend new moms to reach out to Stacey and take time to allow your body to heal postpartum.
Michelle D: When I first found Stacey, I was on a mission to find a way to make fitness and exercise a part of my life. In college I was a D1 athlete, but I'm not what you're picturing - I was a coxswain for a Men's rowing team. Yes, that person that tells people what to do. I am maybe 100lbs soaking wet, and surprisingly shy and quite in a group. Once you get to know me, as Stacey has, however you would laugh at this description. After college, I went through a phase where I thought the solution was running. It was an easy and accessible way to workout - I could do it anywhere. But if I was being honest with myself, I've only ever run one 5k (with pressure from friends) and hated every minute of it.My boyfriend loves crossfit, but at my size and given what I knew from my college athlete days about how easy it is to get hurt, I knew that wasn't for me. I'd been to South Boston Yoga a few times before, and after reading some reviews on Yelp, decided to give Stacey's kettlebell strength class a try. Even in our early interactions, Stacey was the perfect balance of teaching and encouraging me to do more, while also sizing things down to my very beginner level. To this day, I can count on her to call me out when I'm taking things too easy, but also to know when I'm having an off day. She's always there to give me a modified version of the exercise when I'm struggling, using the wrong muscles, or just plan overthinking it. Not everyone is like me, but for me, Stacey also puts up with my millions of questions about how to do each exercise, and if I'm feeling a weird muscle, she takes the time to explain why.Over time I worked up the courage to ask about her Small Groups coaching and I only wish I'd done it sooner! I now train with Stacey and a bunch of newfound friends every Thursday morning. I love it! It's been over 2 years now (hard to believe!). I never have to think about, am I going to the gym? when? do I "feel like it"? And we have quite the community, which I feel is rare these days. We all have mornings we don't want to get up, but knowing that if I'm not there multiple people will reach out to me and ask why, combined with the energy of everyone once you're there, really does make it easier. We also buy packs of sessions and there's a (friendly) 24hr cancellation policy - these may seem simple, but they are enough accountability that it's much easier to show up each week. Plus, I always feel like my mornings are off to a better start on Thursdays when I see Stacey. If you told me two years ago, that any of these things were true, I would have laughed at you in utter disbelief, but now they all are:- I've done a completely unassisted chin-up- I have deadlifted over 100lbs- I own a kettlebell and love it- I've been to see Stacey every week unless I'm traveling or sick- I no longer have regular headaches / body-aches, and the rare occasion that I do, I know what I can do about themFor all these reasons (and many more), if you're on the fence about working with Stacey, give it a try - I promise you won't regret it. Start with a class, or meet her for a consultation. I'm sure you'll love her as much as we do!
Jennifer Anne Gavin: Stacey is without question the best trainer around. She is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough at figuring out what poor habits are leading to your aches and pains and limiting effective exercise. She is super smart about post-pregnancy and women’s bodies and the importance of careful strength training. I always leave sessions with Stacey feeling better than I arrived. She is down to earth and keeps me laughing thorough my workouts. Even after doing PT, women’s health classes, adjustments, massages, etc, Stacey has taught me more about my body and how to support it feeling its best than anyone else. She has no other agenda besides helping you become the strongest, fittest and most confident person you can be. Given her awesomeness, she also has created a great community of workout buddies from all ages and backgrounds who are all equally friendly and genuine. Cannot recommend Stacey as a person and her approach enough!

Lifted Fitness + Performance: what do users think?
Lauren Creedon: It’s like working with a personal trainer in class form. Plus the owners create a really friendly and personalized environment. Been working with a trainer for two years and this felt like an automatic replacement without losing a beat.
Caitlin Costello: I finally found a gym that EXCITES me to go everyday! The people, coaches, and class setup have helped me feel stronger and more confident all around. Cant thank Pat and Mo enough for creating a clean, fun, and educational environment to help us all crush our goals.
Tara Lieberman: I've been going to Lifted for almost 2 years and I can't recommend it enough! Since moving to Boston in 2016, I've taken workout classes at boutique fitness studios all over the city and I can confidently say that Lifted's classes are my favorite by far. Pat and Mo are awesome trainers (and just great humans in general), who really take the time to get to know each of their members and push them to do their best every workout. Do yourself a favor and get the unlimited class package -- if you commit to going 3-4x a week, I promise you'll see results. I've lost weight while simultaneously gaining muscle and am now easily in the best shape of my life.
David Foster: I’ve worked out there for a few years now and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to better themselves!
Kacy Mullen: I’ve been coming to lifted for 2 years now and could not recommend this gym more! Pat and Mo are awesome along with all the other trainers! The environment is so friendly and motivating. And I am always satisfied with the workouts when leaving. I Would highly recommend coming to lifted!
Nathaniel Gopen: Great gym. The owners Mo and Pat and their team are very friendly, inclusive, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was unsure about the gym before my first class and they made me feel very comfortable and I’ve been going back daily since that first class. They are able to help train around injuries and their programs are based on functional movements and improving overall strength, agility, and health.
Faith P: When I moved to Boston I was looking for a convenient gym that I could go to everyday and create structure for myself here in a new city. I had been a runner all my life, and had never lifted before. My cousin had joined Lifted and recommended I try it! I tried my first class back in December and have been hooked ever since. The class environment is perfect for someone who has never lifted before. I feel extremely comfortable pushing myself in the gym, and Pat and Mo are literally the best and give guidance when needed. I have nothing but good things to say about lifted. It is the best workout I have ever been to and the community within the gym is amazing. I owe so much to Lifted, and my transition to Boston. If you are on the fence about joining, do it, I promise you will not regret it!
Frank Deroche: Great staff; super clean; great variety of workout options.
Kathleen Sargent: I love working out over the weekends as the club is pretty empty. Great staff and management is very member friendly.
Stephanie Mancini: Lifted is absolutely amazing. I usually get very nervous when going to a new gym for the first time and prior to lifted I hadn't worked out in almost a year. Pat and Mo (and the other trainers at lifted) were truly the most welcoming trainers who really want to help you get to your goals and get stronger. My anxiety completely went away right after meeting Pat and Mo for the first time. The entire environment is so welcoming and being able to have a structured workout in 40 minutes made it so easy to fit into my daily routine. If I didn't move I never would have left this gym and being a part of it for the past 6 months helped me so much physically and mentally as well.I honestly can't recommend Lifted enough and if you are reading this review because you are on the fence about joining I was once in your shoes and the only regret I have is not joining sooner!
Betsy Scherer: Excellent gym in Southie! My husband and I have been doing joint personal training sessions with Riley and love it. Also, a great value IMO - personal training for one person is $100 per session but only $20 more for two. Definitely recommend.
Naime Benitez: Lifted is the best gym in Southie!!! I moved to Boston and was looking for a quick and challenging work out class with both weights and cardio. Lifted was exactly it. I adore both Mo and Pat!! They bring great energy, positivity and motivation to each class. I always felt challenged and supported through each of my workouts. Highly recommend this fun yet challenging gym environment and community!!!
Julia Asselin: After Boston Athletic Club closed down for Covid (and never reopened…?) I decided to try Lifted Fitness, thinking I’d only be there for a month or two. Ended up staying for 8 months and only left because I was moving to CA, and I wish this gym could’ve come with me. So many positive things to say about this gym:•Pat and Mo are some of the best guys, they take time to get to know all the members•The circuit style of classes was different from what I was used to, but challenging in the best way. 40 minutes and DONE•Accommodating based on skill level or if you have injuries - trainers are always happy to suggest an alternative exerciseOverall, 10/10, 5 stars, whatever you need to get you to try this gym.
Tyler Garnon: Highly recommend Lifted Fitness. A great blend of strength training and cardio in a group setting which helps to keep you motivated!
Chris Fitzpatrick: I've tried so many group exercise classes over the years. Lifted is by far one of the best out there. It's such a great workout for all levels. The energy in class is great and showing up will put you in a position to get into the best shape of your life.
Lydia Harden: Best strength training gym in Boston! So glad I found them when I moved here.
Emma O'Neill: I’ve been to several gyms in Boston and this one is by far the best! The trainers are so helpful and take the time to go over each exercise as well as help with your form during class. They help you track your progress and encourage you to improve every week. The environment is so welcoming plus you get a great workout every class! Def recommend!
olivia checkosky: Amazing group of trainers and tough workouts that are so worth it!
Quinn Collins: I tried several gyms in Boston and Lifted is my favorite! It's more than just a good workout, it is a community. All of the teachers are super attentive, the members are nice, and the facility is clean. The class offering is really great and includes strength & cardio classes which make the monthly membership price totally worth it! I recently moved to the suburbs but plan on attending the Zoom classes when I can.
Brie Flaherty: Lifted is the best gym in Southie! I highly recommend joining - the trainers are great and go over every exercise - and will point out and correct you which is awesome! The environment is super welcoming and not intimidating, like other gyms can be. I am so glad I joined and once you try one class, you will for sure be hooked!
Katie Hansen: Hands down the best gym in Boston! I have gone to various gyms in the past and Lifted goes above and beyond offering a combination of strength and conditioning workouts that are both challenging and fun. Pat, Mo, and Shan are incredible trainers and make everyone feel welcomed! Sadly, I recently moved out of state and already miss these workouts! Will definitely be difficult to find a new gym that compares… If you live in Boston, I highly recommend checking out Lifted!

CLIENTEL3: what do users think?
Nora Elizabeth Sofia Gilligan: has quickly become one of those things for me. Movement of any kind has always been important to me, as much for the physical benefits as for a means of getting out of my own head. Most recently, I’ve been all over the damn place at random classes - everything from SolidCore to hot yoga to spinning. While I still like my ClassPass, I felt I’d hit a plateau with any real progress and wanted something with more intention. A Google search led me to C3 and I haven’t looked back since. There are a million things I love about C3. Here are my top three:--- The trainers are exceptional. Each has their own unique background and way of doing things and I can’t think of better people to spend 6am sessions with.--- I crave variety and C3 delivers. On any given day, I might be working on my pullup progressions, mobility training, or Wing Chun (a form of Kung Fu
Tyro Driver: C3 offered me consistent and systematic approaches to training and most importantly achieving personal goals. The coaches are friendly, informative and professional. I highly recommend this place.
Sam McCrimmon: The team at Clientel3 are fantastic - a personalized, detailed approach to your fitness goals as an individual, conducted at what essentially is a private training space with excellent equipment. Alex's energy, enthusiasm and knowledge helped me to achieve goals and see results quickly, and set up a sustainable approach to progress that I can execute on my own to ensure I get where I want to be and beyond. The approach is friendly, professional and responsive. 100% recommend if you want to take your training to the next level and unlock new achievements!
Hannah Crosley: If you are searching for a great new gym with trainers that care holistically about you as a person, seriously look no further. As someone who travels frequently for work, I was very fortunate to stumble upon this gym while working in Boston for three months. I have trained with the very best trainers (Maura, Alex, and Addison) at Clientel3 and they have completely changed my mindset on health and fitness. Let me also preface this with saying that before starting here I have tried so many different programs (Orange Theory, Pure Barre, SoulCycle, kickboxing, etc) and never loved it or could stick with it. That changed when I found C3 - I genuinely can say that I look forward to working out with their customized plans targeted towards my body’s abilities and goals. On top of that, I have never felt judged for not being in the best shape, only encouraged to keep working. I leave each session feeling stronger, mentally healthier, and empowered to be the best version of myself. Thank you C3!
Kristina R: The staff at C3 are all amazing and I have really enjoyed my experience since joining! The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and supportive and you'll truly get a workout customized to meet your goals . The space is nice and clean and has really great equipment that will keep you from getting bored. I've gotten so much stronger since joining - they are the best!
Sophie Michels: C3 has helped me accomplish so many of my fitness and wellness goals with great personal training and a regimen tailored to what I want. Unlike many other gyms I've trained at, my C3 trainer is a great resource for answering any questions I have outside of our scheduled sessions about my diet and other forms of training. When some of my fitness goals changed my trainer quickly shifted our regimen to match what I wanted. Would absolutely recommend C3!
Jim O'Neill: I have experienced tremendous improvement in strength, flexibility, and overall well-being since working with Patrick at Clientel3. And they take COVID safety protocols seriously and have managed through the pandemic with a commitment to clients’ concerns, health risks, and need for flexibility. You will find the highest quality of training and a level of expertise that you don't find at any other personal training studios. The facility is top-notch and they offer a variety of areas of focus. From lifting to MovNat, you can focus on your training interesting and seek new challenges. The trainers here have advanced degrees and in-depth knowledge and clearly want to help you reach your goals. The trainers and clientele are very down to earth and accessible--you will find a growth mindset with no intimidation factor.
Tim Latham: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityC3 is the best! The trainers are knowledgable, caring and personable, the facilities are top notch and the location is great. I can't recommend this place enough!
Claudia Hankowski: Started working out with Chi (and other trainers) about 3 months ago and i cannot recommend them enough. Chi has not only helped me reach my goals, but has taught me a new way of life - I am overall healthier & happier, all while eating more and working out less. These guys are the real deal. 5 stars!
Elizabeth A.: I have only good things to say about my experience at Clientel3. It's been an investment, for sure, but hands down one of the best I have ever made. The training is highly personalized, following a thorough fitness evaluation and a discussion of goals. Whatever your level of fitness (I was a cardio queen who could barely do three pushups when I started), you will feel welcomed and supported. And you will experience real (visible + measurable) results that will inspire you to keep up the good work. I honestly only planned to train here for three months, but now I can't imagine leaving. The C3 team has become a bit of an extended family - I'd come in every day if I could afford it. I really appreciate the team approach - so each client benefits from the collective wisdom of all the trainers - and how invested the trainers are in their clients' success. The camaraderie is great. As for the space, it's super clean and fully equipped with lots of light and a great minimalist vibe. They nailed the aesthetics along with everything else.
Leah Ratnofsky: The trainers here are super knowledgeable and very motivating. After years of working out on my own and with other trainers and seeing no results, I decided to check out c3. I wasn’t too hopeful given my previous experiences, but this place is different. I’m finally seeing results and feeling stronger.
Courtney Scharneck: I really enjoy how much the exercises that I do at CLIENTEL3 challenge me to push myself. I have been training with Chi for awhile and I really enjoy the amount of thought and planning that goes into my workouts.
Millie deOlio: The 6-week Challenge was just what I needed to get me out of my fitness & food funk. Chi Bang and his kick ass crew helped me find my way back. I was given a strict diet to follow, and 3 days of mandatory time at Clientele3. Did I meet my goal? No, but that wasn’t what I was looking for in that short amount of time. I was looking to get the motivation and focus necessary to get rid of the #30 lbs that I had put on an already overweight frame in the past year. I started the Challenge right before the holidays, not easy but not impossible. I was definitely more aware of what I put in my mouth, and it was easier since alcohol, sugar, and certain carbs weren’t on my list of approved foods. For me, the salvation was the mandatory workout 3x a week. I would leave drenched in sweat, sore, and ready to pass out. What I truly liked most about those workouts, was the camaraderie among a group of people at very different levels of fitness working out together and cheering one another on, all sorts of shapes, colors, sizes, ages, orientations, and identifications working on ourselves. The trainers were all great, each one with interesting workouts and words of encouragement. I was incredibly out of shape, but I got better over the 6 weeks, and continue to improve, just don’t ask me to do sit-ups. The journey continues!
Ann-Marie Roberts: I went to Chi Bang Bodies as part of a challenge. With that said I went to my initial meeting with Yen Silva--an integral team member of Chi Bodies. I weight in and a full conversation with Yen about my goals. I weighed in at 198 lbs. Yen, then email me my meal plan, recipes and at homework outs called 7 min in heaven (loved that name) I got started right away. I've been on a weigh loss journey for sometime now and felt I needed a boost. The following week I met the other challenges at the Chi Bang Studios. I weighed in again and my weight had dropped to 193 lbs. My 5 lbs in one week weight loss was based on their meal plan and me trying a different work out. Needless to say I was stoked. The challenge got started all challengers are required to show up for classes 3 times a week in addition to working out at home/gym. I followed the meal plan (which required a scale) and did my Chi exercise and my at home/gym exercises. The meal plan BLEW it out the water. It took my journey to whole new level.I didn't reached my goal, but I gained knowledge. I am much more aware of what goes into my body. I am much more aware that I need to move to maintain my new lifestyl. I am much more aware of the energy I have to complete my task. I am much more aware of my form (very important when excising). Chi and his staff are experience and knowledgeable. After this challenge I am not able to go back to my old habits. For example I meal prep every evening for the next day. I have more time to sleep doing this. I understand that I have to go beyond cardio to achieve my goals ( treadmills and stair master are great but weights are you best friends to).I unequivocally, recommend Chi Bang Bodies. The staff go above and beyond to make sure I was challenged. I absolutely appreciate Justin Kompf (high five King), Patrick Michaels Jennings (the form king), Laura Alessi (The booty blaster lady), Carol Lee Butler (bad ass) and Denise Rodriguez (the hostess with the mostess). I cannot forget Chi ( he's the one that make sure you squeeze that final one of your last rep).Their approach is all about community, accountability and proper fuel.Although I did not receive my deposit of $600 back (didn't meet my goal as I mentioned) Chi is giving those of us that didn't meet our goal an initial credit of $300 towards classes or nutrition. Moreover, they've started a new program that the 2nd $300 will go towards. The new program requires us to go in once a week for 12 weeks. In this program they're going to give us a series of exercises to do on our own they'll show us proper form to complete the exercises. I am excited. I really miss going to the Chi Bang Studios.I had a lot of fun with my challenge. Thank you for all that I have gained. I have not gained any weight because of what I've learned from Chi and his staff.
D. Roberts: I participated in a challenging 6 Week Fitness Challenge with Chi Bang Bodies. The staff, Denise, Yen, Laura, Carol, Justin, Patrick, Matt, & my ChiMonster Chi, are all fantastic people who like myself, are humans. For 6 Weeks, they dedicated themselves to approx. 80 strangers of all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels and I appreciate their commitment to myself and everyone else that participated.Upon my initial conversation with Laura, I asked questions that she was not afraid to answer and gave me honest answers that coincided with the information obtained at my initial interview with Yen. I was lucky enough to meet Carol during my interview & fell in love with her body, I was like, damn, I need to be trained by her.....LOLMy 1st class was tough but I almost died during my 2nd class, not really, but I did feel like I was going to puke...TMI, I know. Anyhow, I yearned for more and loved the variations of exercises in each class. I learned proper form, exercises that I can do on my own at the gym or even at home. Best of all, I learned how to determine what and how different foods benefit me and my #chibangbodygoals.I didn't give the 5th star because in the very beginning, I felt a little uncomfortable to inquire more in depth information regarding my individual meal plan. However, I am a vegetarian and was really limited with my options, so that made life a little more difficult for me. If I wanted to lose the 20lbs in 6 weeks, I had to make sacrifices AND those sacrifices definitely made a difference in how I looked and felt.I was motivated by the staff during fitness sessions, within our Secret FB page, & surprisingly..... while I was on my overseas Holiday Vacation. My only regret is that I cannot afford to continue to workout with them but I would recommend ChiBangBodies to anyone looking to make some REAL LIFESTYLE CHANGES. I also met some really cool people that I hope to continue a good friendship with. Everyday I think about them and pray that I can still make them proud.....BOOM!!!!!!
tanya tandon: If you want to get duped and lose $600 do the 6 week challenge here. They hand you a generic diet plan, tell you that it’s an achievable goal to lose 5% body fat in 6 weeks and then when it’s over, they say ooops it was actually a very hard challenge. The people who run this place are totally unethical. However to give credit where it’s due, the instructors are wonderful and very knowledgeable.
Celeste Myers: The Highlights:As a 46 year old with zero formal fitness training - Chi Bang Fitness got me acclimated to what it means to adapt a healthy lifestyle. They provided me with a food and fitness regimen that was instantly actionable. After participating in the fitness challenge - within 6 weeks I lost over 19 lbs and am well on my way to a new, healthier me. I felt so great and was so inspired by my results from this mere snapshot in time - I renewed for 12 months. The facility is well equipped, CLEAN, contemporary and convenient to get to by car or public transportation.Chi Bang and his instructors are phenomenal in terms of expertise, ability to connect with their clients and pushing them while making them feel comfortable in enhancing their abilities. My Experience:When I first came across the opportunity to train at @ChiBang Bodies I instantly thought 'I am way over my head and out of my league'. But something inside clicked and I recognized that this is what I've been searching for: someone to tell me what to do and how to do it in order to get my fitness on the right track. With this internal competing dialogue going on I attended the info session at the impressively appointed facility. The atmosphere says 'elite athletes work out here', but the community that is @chi bang and his team, that operates says 'we can help you reach for your goals. We're here for you.'I still had some trepidation about my ability to function in this environment - but the one thing I know for sure from life experience is - most times you don't know how good of a swimmer you are until you wind up in over your head.Chi, Carole, Patrick, Laura, Justin, Matt, Yen, Denise - are just an amazing group of people that care about the work they are doing and the folks they're doing it with.
Ramen: When i left the the challenge i was a little dissapointed. I felt like i failed. I wanted so bad to loose the weight and beat the challenge. I realized and even knew beforehand 20 lbs is A Lot of weight to loose in 6 weeks with normal maintanable weight loss being 1 to 2 pounds weekly. During the challenge I worked out 3 days at clientele, 4 days at my regular gym and not seeing much weight loss but noticing and feeling the shrinking process of my hard work. i feel like my hard work was being measured incorrectly which in turn made me feel like a failure because i was not seeing the pounds drop as expected and instead was seeing a fat and inches loss instead of a pound loss. Which in turn made me feel better about myself and my hardwork. (These are different things when lifting weights and not having cardio based workouts. Like hiit bootcamps do.)I used the challenge as an opportunity to workout at clientel cause quite frankly i knew i could not afford to workout there other wise . Anyways i continue today 3 weeks later, using the meal plan i felt best fit me and im seeing weight loss and muscle definition and im grateful for the opportunity and the reset in my errors of eating. i left with new exercises i use at the gym and feel better about my progress that continues way past the challenge. The challenge was just the right push i needed and im grateful. The staff is knowledgeable and wanted us to succeed. I am succeeding but at my own pace. Today i weighed myself this morning and i was surprised. Since i left the challenge ive lost 5 more pounds in 3 weeks. Total 9 pounds. Which is normal and healthy and makes me feel fabulous. What bogs me is only loosing 4 lbs during the challenge. I did follow the meal plan guidlines. Maybe my body had to detox and reset me for continued weightloss. As Chi said, Every Body is different. The challenge was an ambitious goal from the start. Im not sure how many people were actually succesful because those results were not published for us to see and even my own pictures and results have been kept from me even though i asked for them and was told they were working on it and then a post said that we needed to write a review in order to get them. Which i feel like i paid for given i didnt technically win the challenge my money was kept so that didnt make for a good ending. There were certain things along the way that i felt could have been better. The classes had large class sizes. 1 trainer running large classes when we started with two. Too much weight lifting not enough high intensity exercises. This is not a bootcamp gym, its a boutique personal training studio. I thought i was going to recieve more personal type training but got bootcamp style that left something to be desired for weight loss goals. In conclusion, i had fun with the whole experience.Anyways. I hope everyone is still making progress and feeling better after the challenge and are using what they learned and gathered to continue on their fitness goals. :)
Allison Archambault: I absolutely love working out here. Gym has Jacobs Ladder, Battle Ropes, turf-style flooring, sandbags, punching bags, TRX bands, and many other implements of sweet, sweet torture. Some conventional, and some not. Spotlessly clean facility. And most importantly, the experienced, knowledgeable, massively-positive and supportive trainers to deliver the good old fashioned ass-kicking you need. The team of trainers here are highly informative, attentive, and PRESENT. Always watching form and making corrections. Sometimes the littlest nuances making a huge difference in intensity.😅After my first 6 weeks of training here I’ve lost 3% of my bodyfat (23.7 to 20) and went from a size 6 to a 4 though my glutes are higher and mightier than ever. 🦍
Charlene Guillot: I was a 6 week challenger. I joined the program 5 months after I delivered my daughter and I was struggling with my image. I was very skeptical in my abilities to loose the amount of weight that was expected but I took the challenge seriously. Over the weeks I pushed my limits, enjoyed more and more the toughness of the workouts and the mastering of the exercises proposed. I learn to eat the right food amount and the most important point is that I feel better. I am glad I participated to this challenge, I have more energy and I know i am able to loose the weight I want to.My major criticism is that the gym is only open for the classes so you need another membership for the cardio training.I want to thank all the team for their help and effort, wish you all the best.
vilda cea-perez: I had an amazing experience working out at Clientel3. The coaches are really nice and definitely will make you work a sweat . They go the extra mile to get to know you and sit down to talk about reaching your main goals. They send motivating text messages daily and weekly and check up on you to make sure you are not fallowing out from your goals . Their meal plan is very easy to understand and to fallow . I would 100% recommend this to anybody that is serious about losing weight or getting in shape to get in contact with them . I guarantee that they will make you work your ass off every time and you'll definitely will not regret it .

Aum Training Center: what do users think?
Michael Corrente: I didn’t want to feel like the pillsbury doughboy anymore! In all seriousness, I was feeling stuck in my fitness routine. I’m 57 years old, lead a healthy lifestyle and had been trying to maximize the results of my exercise routine. I felt I had reached a plateau and needed help to get more tone and definition - all with a routine that was manageable with my schedule. I did a quick google search and found information about AUM Training Center. I reached out and Coach Chris got back to me within 15 minutes of my inquiry. He let me know that they would be able to build a program to meet my fitness goals as well as fit into my hectic schedule. I have been going to AUM for the past 3 months working with Nicole and Skyler. I have seen consistent results from the personally designed training sessions. AUM has had an impact on my physical health as well as my mental wellbeing . They are such a supportive and positive team that I immediately feel better as soon as I walk through the door. The results have been better than I anticipated. I would highly recommend AUM to anyone interested in personal training services.
Laura Spencer: AUM was my very first experience in a gym with a personal trainer. I was unsure of what to expect, but Nicole has been amazing! I was feeling completely out of shape and was not finding much motivation on my own. I wanted to become stronger and healthier overall. Approaching 60 is not easy! Nicole's positive energy and encouraging ways has made a huge impact in my life. I feel energized and definitely stronger after a year of working out at AUM. I have also benefited immensely from the nutritional component of the program - using supplements to help in my daily life and becoming more knowledgeable about essentials in my diet has been so helpful. We recently gave our son a membership at AUM as a gift...best gift ever! He is making great strides in such a short time, it's impressive! I would highly recommend this program to any age group. It is the most welcoming and relaxing gym - small and intimate where you feel comfortable no matter what your fitness level is. You will be pushed to do your personal best and you will feel incredible when you do! But, the benefits go far beyond physical...your whole well-being will improve and strengthen. AUM has made such a positive impact in my life. Chris, Nicole and all the staff at AUM are truly special.
a derosa: This place is awesome. The general spirit of the atmosphere is welcoming, humble and wholesome. I received guidance 6 minutes into the intake process. They really do support your needs as well as desires in an all inclusive manner 🙏🏾❤️!!!
Kevin Hupp: I’ve never felt especially comfortable in a gym and have always wished I was in better/more functional shape. After a lot of stops and starts with lifting and fitness, I made it a goal to start with personal training in 2022! Researching around, Aum had tons of great reviews and I took a shot at the consultation. Chris was instantly engaging and helpful, he took care to talk through my goals with me and walk me through what I could expect if I started with Aum. I ultimately wanted to work on strength and aesthetics- I’m a skinny dude and my nutrition is adequate so I didn’t need to fully reaudit my diet but these are absolutely the people I’ll go to when I’m ready to upgrade there! I’ve been lucky enough to do a three month session with Nicole who strikes an incredible balance between being knowledgeable, motivating, and fun. My anxiety/embarrassment about not knowing what I was doing was gone in a session and I was EXCITED to come and train twice a week. I learned what it felt like to have a great workout and focused on my form and body awareness which have translated into results and success in my non-Aum workout. Sessions were challenging but never discouraging and I always left in a better mood than when I came in. The facility is well maintained and they’re always trying new/cool equipment, I was almost always the only client in the gym (which I loved since I got to pick the tunes!) and I never felt crowded or rushed. The team is flexible and proactive with session scheduling and the app works really well to track workouts outside of the facility. Highly recommend this place, just be mindful and transparent about your goals and they will work hard to get you there! A+, Aum has really improved my life!
Kuba Anglin: My experience at Aum has been fantastic! I started with Ozzy about two months ago and am already seeing substantial changes to my physique and strength. As someone who has never really engaged with strength training before, Ozzy has been able to quickly teach me many new exercises through effective communication and demonstration. Training sessions are really a highlight of my day, as Ozzy has made the experience incredibly enjoyable while encouraging me to really push my limits. I highly recommend Aum for anyone looking to improve their physical and mental wellbeing!
Daphne Dunn: Aum is a fantastic facility and place to train! I’m currently working with Osman, whoIs super professional, warm, encouraging and pushes me hard, but makes every session fun and different! The hour flies by and I’mAlready seeing and feeling positive results after about 12 sessions. The whole experience has been amazing and I would highly reconnect Aum to anyone whoIs interested in feeling great and improving their fitness levels at any stage or age!!
David Bau: Aum is amazing. I came in after recovering from an ankle sprain, completely out of shape, with the hope of losing pandemic pounds and avoiding more injuries. Coach Nicole tailored workouts for my goals - she is a very skilled trainer and in every session she has adjusted exercises pretty carefully based on where I've been specifically strong or weak or inflexible. The effects of two hours of weekly workouts were very noticeable very quickly, making me more solid on my feet almost right away, and then making me stronger all around over time. With friendly nudging and encouragement, Nicole has also been helping me develop a better diet and a more active lifestyle outside the gym. She tracks body composition, measurements, weight over time, and helps me track my diet. Over time that has made a huge difference. Over six months so far, I am much leaner, stronger, and healthier overall, and I have picked up a lot of healthy habits. Totally recommended.
Nora Kelly: Incredibly thankful to Coach Erika for all her guidance and encouragement over the last year. AUM has been a huge help getting me back on track both physically and mentally. As a former college athlete, I relied heavily on sports and teammates to stay in shape and hold me accountable. However, since graduating college seven years ago, I have found it especially challenging to find the joy in working out. AUM has given me that passion back. Erika has taught me so much about taking care of my body though exercise, mindfulness and nutrition. She has also helped me focus on strengthening weaker areas of my body from previous injury. My knees no longer ache the way they used to.I can’t express how thankful I am to AUM and the team. Would highly recommend to all. Easily the most supportive and thoughtful training staff you will find out there.
Roxie D: At the beginning of the quarantine, as I was about to turn 50, I told my friend that this was a turning point- either we needed to keep ourselves strong & healthy or we’d let ourselves go with no turning back.Although there were good intentions, I had little motivation to exercise with all the stress of work, childcare, housework etc. 24/7- not to mention a profound loss. I didn’t quite let myself go but it was definitely status quo at a not-so-great status. I had good intentions but couldn’t stay consistent. So much easier to grab a treat for breakfast or takeout for dinner and even more easy to sit on the couch and binge watch a show.Fast forward one year, with life seemingly going back to normal, I decided that I needed to refocus on myself and my health. At age 51 and running around after an 8 year old, I also need to keep myself fit for her and set a better example.I came across an IG ad from Aum Training Center and started an inquiry about their training services. Coach Chris called me soon after and had such a kind and engaging manner, I decided to meet with him to get more info and check out the studio. I immediately felt at home. Chris was completely down to earth, the studio had the warm energy of a yoga studio and none of the pretension of a gym. We had a great conversation about my experience with weight, fitness, yoga and running, then set realistic and attainable goals. Chris matched me up with Coach Ozzy who I immediately connected with because I got a very familial vibe from him. He was very flexible in scheduling as I had a very limited time window. He also provided me with delicious healthy recipes and reminded me that, rather than “dieting”, actually eating healthy meals is the key to success. Ozzy knows how to test my limits without pushing me so hard that I give up. One of my favorite things about him is that he is respectful of my own knowledge and integrates that into the plan. An extra bonus is that have great conversations too! Each workout is filled with music, laughter, and sweat!I started working out with him twice a week and being more conscious about food intake. Within weeks, I felt better, slept better and began noticing a change. Clothes began fitting differently and I had to start digging into the back of my closet for smaller sizes.Circling back to my friend, who has always been one of my biggest cheerleaders and greatest motivators. He will now be joining me at Aum and we’ll be working out together with Ozzy. Looking forward to continuing this journey and staying healthy together with a pact to never let the other let themself go! Thanks to Aum, Coach Chris and Coach Ozzy, who will definitely keeps us on track!
Adriane Klein: I joined AUM last year following two major surgeries that left me with a complication that I wasn’t entirely sure how to navigate with regards to exercise. I was looking to learn how to work out with the new restriction while getting stronger at the same time which is exactly what happened while working with Coach Ozzie. My physical therapist had told me I would never be able to lift overheard heavier then 8 pounds and we easily quadrupled that in under 6 months. He definitely pushed me when I needed and didn’t take my complaints (which were often) when it came to doesn’t an excercise I didn’t like. AUM is a great facility and a really fun place to train. Everyone there is very encouraging in your journey regardless of if they are your coach. I learned a lot that I am able to incorporate confidently on my own which is especially useful following the future surgeries I will have to undergo. Highly recommend AUM and Ozzie to anyone and everyone!
Rozen: Ozzie is great and a very good trainer, the gym is good as well
Caroline Platt: I've been working with Ozzy since Sept. 2021 and my life has genuinely changed for the better. I meet with Ozzy 2x a week and complete an "off day" workout 1x week and I've lost 20 lbs! Ozzy gives me the accountability I need to lose weight the right way. Before going to Aum, I felt like I had tried absolutely everything and I was so exhausted. I now have all the resources available like meal plans, workouts and support. I feel more confident, fit, and overall healthy. I couldn't say better things about Aum and Ozzy!! If you're looking for a sign to take the plunge with personal training, let this be it!
Jen Cook: Nicole at AUM is amazing. It is hard to put in to words how she has helped me over the past year. She is truly an amazing coach. Superior. As a coach and as a human being. My journey this year has been focused on being mentally well and fixing old injuries that have plagued me.. The physical wellness happens as a result.Nicole has given me more support, motivation, and kindness than I could ever ask from a trainer. She pushes me to be my best, and work my hardest-even when I don’t think I have it in me. She is focused on my total well being, which is the special thing about AUM.I worked with Chris years ago, and knew he would establish a special place for people to grow in their own way with fitness. I cannot recommend this team more. It is an incredible place to find your best self.I cannot say enough about Nicole. She is amazing and has made such an enormous impact on my wellbeing. Cheers to AUM and Nicole!
Karan Jain: This is the best training centre and the best set of team available in Boston! I joined Aum with the objective to lose some pounds and get active in general. My personal coach, Nicole, was amazing and instrumental in making me work harder and make better health choices. I lost 30lbs and 10inches with personal strength training and proper diet plans provided by Aum. Coach Chris also tailor made nutrition plans for my diet restrictions (Vegetarian) and constantly kept me updating with new and local food options. Both Coach Nicole and Chris are extremely motivating and amazing at what they do.I highly recommend Aum Training Centre and Coach Nicole if you're contemplating your fitness journey!
Kellene Ratko: I have been training with Nicole at AUM since December 2019 and can honestly say that AUM Training Center has changed my life for the better. As a former athlete, I struggled to find a form of fitness that could maintain my interest and address my concerns about prior injuries. Before finding AUM, I would frequently bounce around to different styles of workouts and classes never really loving anything or finding my niche. I was referred to Nicole by a friend and client of AUM. Since my first session, I’ve lost pounds, inches, fat %, etc but what I’ve gained is even more valuable. During my 1.5 years I have gained knowledge on how to be more efficient with my workouts, how to appropriately nourish my body, and overall have walked away with a better appreciation for all the things my body is capable of. This is all due to the approach of AUM Training Center and the commitment of a coach like Nicole. Whether in person or via Zoom (during the pandemic or just traveling), Nicole has created custom workouts based on my goals and guided me through making healthier life choices. I could not be happier with my decision to commit to my health and am grateful for a coach like Nicole for guiding me through every step along the way.
Ketan Patel Coaching: Chris is a master of his craft and goes above and beyond for his clients. His support and guidance helped me achieve a new level of strength and mobility for my body. Chris has a wealth of knowledge that goes beyond body training that he incorporates with his training to shift your perspective on workouts/training and make it more enjoyable. He has made training more exciting and helped me get results. Chris is very personable and deeply cares about his clients and I would HIGHLY recommend Chris and Aum Training Center to anyone that is looking to get results!
Bijay Kumar: I have been training off and on for 15 years and have been exposed to wonderful trainers across the country. As an Aum client for a year now, I can say that Aum is the best training center I have been to and Chris Carrero is the best trainer I have had. He is disciplined and motivates you to put your best foot forward without added pressure. Chris tailors a training program to fit your needs and provides sound nutritional advice as well. Chris’s is mind and body training at its best! The Real Deal! And the results speak for itself. The facilities are clean and spotless and the equipment is cutting edge. I look forward to my sessions every week. Thank you Chris and Aum!
Hannah Grove: I have been working with AUM for just over one year and cannot recommend more highly. When I started I was stressed, not sleeping and frustrated with lack of progress in achieving health goals. I had the good fortune of being paired with Nicole, who is a truly awesome coach. She keeps me engaged, builds my confidence, stretches me to do more than I thought possible -- always as safely as possible. Although we have been training virtually for the last eight months we have not skipped a beat and in fact I have made more progress than I thought possible. Whether in person or via zoom, this is an outstanding team that delivers results.
Ashita Chauhan: I enjoyed all the workouts throughout my sessions with my trainer. I can feel the vast difference in my muscles, my strength escalated like never before which toned my entire body. The team (Chris and Erika) is amazing-responsive, helpful and professional. I worked with Erika and she is the best trainer I could ever have- always supportive, responsive, friendly, best at her profession and helpful.Highly recommended :)
Bobby Kelly: Coach Chris Carreiro has provided me with extraordinary guidance and commitment since I first entered his training center in February 2020. At the time, I was simply looking to get back into shape. Chris took me to the next level with his holistic approach - we immediately dove into the principals of weightlifting, nutrition, diet, and overall wellness in mind and body.In my first three months training with Chris, he coached me through a complete body transformation - and I lost 30 pounds while gaining a ton of strength and endurance! Chris kept me on track to my goals, coaching me in virtual sessions over Zoom through the Covid-19 shutdown. We are now back training in-person at the center and I could not be happier.Chris is a remarkable coach and I am so incredibly thankful for his friendship and commitment to my health. I highly recommend Chris and the team at Aum Training Center!
Kara Weiss: Chris is the best. What’s he’s created at AUM is totally unmatched. When I can to AUM I hadn’t worked out in months due to chronic injuries. Working out had become equal parts boring and nerve wracking as I kept acquiring new injuries. I wanted to get in shape and just as importantly, to stay injury free. Chris nailed it. I got into the best shape of my life and he tailored my workouts to work-around my wrist issues and that had been plaguing me. Moreover, he got me eating clean s d taking care of myself. The thing about Chris is he is he’s totally results driven. Your goals are his goals, and he won’t quit until you reach them. And by the way, he’s also just a great guy and a lot of fun. He also has a team of trainers he’s mentored and trained in his own style. I recommend AUM wholeheartedly.
