The half-inch table top I got from Boston Glass Group was beveled and had square corners that have all chipped in the first year of use. I assume this is from the vacuum cleaning hose. Although, I already had a long-standing relationship with a mirror guy in Boston, I decided to give Tom a try. I am glad I did!Tom has proven to be a reliable, responsive business partner. He gets back to me on the same day when I request a quote. He tells me when to expect delivery and always follows through. He always delivers a quality product, and if there is a problem Tom steps right in to correct any problem. Attached is a large framed mirror project that Tom and his team helped me with. I couldn't have done it without them! These guys are the real deal!

swetal patel: We ordered a 5K glass door from them, and the logo on the door was misaligned. There was no proof prior to printing. Tom did give us a discount and we paid another 1.3K to have the glass door with aligned logo replaced. The now newly replaced glass door again had issue closing and stainless steel hardware was damaged during the door replacement process. Fortunately, Tom sent his team again the following day to fix the issue. I suggested potential buyer to ask for proof before printing on the door as it was a very expensive and time consuming process to fix. I must say Tom did try his very best to fix the problem. He did stand behind his work, and I thus gave his company a 3.5 stars, but I do believe all these issues are preventable if he only accepts PDF or TIFF files (not .ppt, as it can misalign if one opens the files with different versions of ppt and slide scale) for the logo and provides customer with proof prior to printing. Who will be happy to pay 1.3K more and undergo all these headaches to have a door installed? Tom said he will return to replace the damaged stainless steel hardware.

Howard Hoffman: I am very disappointed with the job they did on my shower. They cracked my tile and my marble threshold which I had to have repaired at my own expense. The fixed glass panel is neither aligned with the tile nor with the glass door. I am going to have to have this all redone. $2000 down the drain.

They were also unable to figure out how to install the storm window and because it was in a tenant's bedroom, I needed them in and out quickly so ended up having them leave the storm window behind and hired someone else to install it later. Because the glass that GWW had put in the storm was too big, it broke when it was installed and needed to be replaced again. They get 2 stars because they were courteous and seemed to know what they were talking about when they came to do the estimate. Saw their van on the street, called, made an appointment, a very knowledgeable estimator came and did a very thorough walkthrough, explained everything, provided estimate right away. The house that we moved into had over a dozen of windows that wouldn't open or wouldn't shut. It was so bad that one of the windows almost fell out when opening. So, we were bracing for $20-30K new windows expenditure. These guys fixed all of the issues, including bunch of rotting wood for 10% of that! All windows work great now, they even painted them. Boston W: I ordered $36K worth of Windows April 21 and was told by the horrible salesman that they would be installed June. June 1, I called Pella Woburn and found out the order had not been placed yet and the horrible salesman was no longer with the company. After checking with the manufacturer, I was informed that my front windows would be ready June 29th; however, the rear windows not until mid to late October. I want the rear windows installed first which means the whole project will not be done until late Fall. I was told the delay for the rear windows was because of a national shortage of Vinyl. I definitely would have gone with another company had I known this in advance when the horrible salesman rushed thru my home measuring. He was constantly telling me how understaffed every area of his company is. The Installation Clerk was very nice and seemed to do her best; however, this is not a Company I would recommend. I will keep updating this Post as the project progresses.UPDATE: Jan 4 2022. My windows leak cold air. I have to wait a month for service. Caution before purchase.

Al didn't pick up his phone, nobody emailed us to say he wasn't coming. Nobody in the office answered the phone or the emails when we asked if Al was coming. We are now a week past the 1/26 date where nobody showed up. NOT ONE EMAIL RESPONSE FROM ANYONE! And, we cc'd several people, called and left messages asking for assistance. NOTHING! DO NOT USE PELLA!***Posted on 1/25/22Absolutely terrible customer service from start to finish. Our window installation get changed twice (and we were assured we would have them installed in August) They called a couple days before and told us that they won't be installing on the date. We again waited, only to be called a month and a half later and told it was postponed again (for an install that was supposed to be in two days)Communication was terrible, customer service was terrible. Non-response. ari hauben: It's been a tough road with Pella, I'm renovating my house and placed my window order in late March, I understand the current consumer climate and challenges companies are facing in delivering, so built in plenty of extra time for delivery. I was told it would be a couple months and that was great!We are now coming up on almost 5 months, some of the correct windows arrived as promised, but 4 windows were incorrectly ordered by the sales rep, three of which were too big, but I had to use any how at my expense, because the wait for new windows was ridiculous and one window showed up that was literally 4X the size of the window we needed and the wrong color and they wouldn't send someone to pick it up to get it out of the construction zone and at some point I was charged for everything, which later was partially refunded, but....Additionally and this is where it gets good, two windows still have yet to arrive preventing me from finishing two bathrooms and the cherry on top, apparently one of the trucks delivering Pella windows caught on fire and my three panel sliding door melted on the side of the highway, you can't make this stuff up, fortunately everyone was alright. But that was early June which is already significantly later then I was originally told and no real effort has been made to expedite a new door, or get me the windows. I still don't have clear information on when the missing items will arrive, just basic information.Look I get it times are tough, labor is low, demand is high and there's a pandemic, but I have not been able to get any updates of substance, communication with my rep is essentially non existent and no effort has been made to fix mistakes made on Pella's end, or expedite the windows/door that have not arrived.Where's this leave me....with a hole in my bathroom wall letting in all that nature has to offer, with two bathrooms and a kitchen that can't be finished until these windows and door arrive, costing me time and money, workers will have to come back after already doing majority of the work to complete flooring painting and etc. and worse, my parents who were slated to move in, cannot until this is done, because we can't get a certificate of occupancy. The lack of concern and effort shown by Pella is frankly just surprising, it feels like more than just a lack of good business and customer service, because after explaining the human side of this, still no effort was made to find some sort of solution to problems that were created by Pella.I think it's clear that Pella is not a company that is concerned with their small, independent residential customers, it's impossible for me to believe that these two windows and one door couldn't have been delivered by now if corporate culture put an emphasis on treating all orders equally and if someone just cared.

As for Brett Jackson, our sales rep, he has not been responsive at all. We were over charged nearly $400 and I still can't get a hold of him or anyone else who can help. Whether you call their main line or their installation department, you will get an answering machine, and leave a message only to have your call go unreturned time and time again. I am about to go to the Attorney General and any other resource I can find to see if can get my money back. Thank you Pella for responding and resolving our issues.Old review:I have no other option as I am in a helpless situation with the unprofessionalism of Pella. If I could give a negative star I would.We paid $4,200.21 for a door in 2021 and we still have no door and no communication from Pella.We had requested for a front door replacement in Oct 2021. An appointment was made and Morgan Field from Pella Natick came in. We had a simple request to replace the same door. There was no special requests. We were asked to call a contractor on the day of her visit. The contractor made the measurements and she promised door will be delivered soon. A door was delivered in Jan 2022.When contractor came to install the door he found it was 6 inches short. Our contractor contacted Pella and Pella refused to take any responsibility for the wrong measurements. They did not take the door back either.Our contractor stepped up and paid money for another door but this time the door was delivered in April 2022 with incorrect swing. The door was opening to left instead to the right. Pella driver took the door back and told us they will replace the door soon.After we contacted Morgan she said we need to pay for a third door or take the door with the wrong swing. We agreed to take the door with wrong swing which Morgan said she can send. But it is Jan 2023 and we have still not received any door and Morgan has stopped replying back.Basically it has been an year and half, paid full amount twice (once by us and once by contractor) and we still don’t have a door. Not even the wrong swing door.Pella is very unprofessional. We have been cheated, frustrated, loosing patience and are helpless at the moment. Please don’t ever do any business with Pella.

Anna Dvinsky: We ordered a patio door from Pella. It was really very very expensive. As soon as we paid, communication became very spotty. The door was not delivered on time and only after many attempt to contact them we got a reply with a different date. By than we decided we didn't trust them to install the door and had our carpenters do it. The door turned out to be low quality, not really straight, not exactly the right size and with HW that we didn't get the chance to choose although it was promised to us to be possible. Many of the structural issues we wouldn't have known if it wasn't installed by our guys. It would have just not insulated as well, maybe leaked, caused issues down the line with water damage and just not worked as well as it should. Pella did not reply to any of our emails or calls. Some representatives were plain rude. So we had our contractor contact them. He managed to get them to agree to redo the door. But after that they stopped answering him too. So here we are. Insanely expensive door, extremely poor craftmanship and unresponsive Pella. We don't quite know if they really are manufacturing the replacement, when it's to be delivered, how do we get the right hardware... NOTHING!! I would not recommend anyone to order from them. They are NOT TRUSTWORTHY and definitely not worth the money.

Vero Hall: We replaced 5 windows. The windows are fine, but the service was a Fiasco! Placed order in May 2022 with promised installation date for December 20th 2022. The week of the installation they informed us that the windows were not ready and rescheduled for Dec 30th. The night before installation day they inform us that the installer can’t make it and we get rescheduled. The next installer has a personal event and we get rescheduled again. In the end, after weeks of being rescheduled the 4th team installed the windows but didn’t finish the job and now we’re waiting for another crew to come finish up. In total, we got scheduled and rescheduled 5 times over the Christmas holidays, for Pella to install 5 windows.Pella, I paid premium price for premium service! This was not what we received. Mary Bowen: I am a property developer who has ordered from many other window vendors and I have never had this much trouble with windows. Pella creates beautiful high quality windows but this franchise has the worst service and unethical sales tactics. They rush you to place orders, they ordered incorrect sizes, and they didn’t deliver certain parts and made us pay for it. These guys failed to make it right on numerous occasions. They actually lied and said: we offer white glove delivery service and put the windows in the right room. When the delivery guy showed up, he said that’s not the case so our experience was chaotic. When you are spending almost $40K on Windows, you expect your vendor to take care of you. It’s not the case here. Usually I write positive reviews, but I was extremely let down. I recommend you find another establishment to help you order Pella windows... or just go with Anderson.

Patricia Plourde: Let me start by saying that during my home renovation three years ago I replaced all the windows and doors in my home with Pella products. I was attracted to Pella windows and doors because they offer blinds between the glass and these work really well when you have cats. I waited until last year to begin replacing my cellar windows. I replaced two of them and the plan was to replace the rest this year. Well, I’m hindsight that was a bad decision. I had another salesman come to give me the quote for the last 5 windows in the basement that needed replacement with awning windows. He basically doubled the prices from last year and then I found out that they are no longer including blinds in the same window I bought last year. Stunning, because now the windows won’t match (and just a year later). I reached out to the natick office and then Brendon contacted me to find out what happened. He took care of the pricing and we came to an agreement on that. He tried and tried to get the custom ordered with blinds in the right color but the company wouldn’t do it. Yikes, how disappointing is that after I spent over $20,000 on windows. So, I had to get the windows without blinds just to get the cranberry clad color to match the rest of the windows. I’m happy with the windows upstairs, in general, and they look great from the outside. Only thing I don’t like is that it’s difficult to open them because they are so tight. But, I take that as a good thing for energy efficiency. Brendan was an absolute pleasure to work with and very responsive to all of my inquiries. Would have given 5 stars if I was able to get the same cellar windows. Brendan gets 5 stars.

Monique Holley: I would not recommend this business. I ordered a custom door in late Oct 2021. Due to covid, I was given and installation date of April 4th, no problem. On April 4th, the installer shows up, removes my current door frame etc. only to discover that they ordered the wrong door! They put the original frame (which is now cut) back on including my original storm door. When I called to understand next steps to correct the situation, they give me an installation date of another six weeks out. There was no attempt to return as soon as possible despite the fact that I have been waiting since Oct. In addition, I was told by Jim Leonard that a 5% discount was the max I would receive for their error...and it gets better...my original storm door (that I purchased through Lowes years prior) has now FALLEN OFF THE HINGES!!! I CALLED AGAIN, which is now 4 days later, AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A RESPONSE!!!! This is unacceptable! I went to Pella to avoid mishaps with a Lowes or Home Depot thinking I would receive professional top notch treatment and service and I have received neither despite my almost $10K purchase!!!! I will be contacting the attorney generals office. BEWARE...they aren't who you think they are!!!!

Ron Fedele: Let me start by saying my wife and I LOVE our new, 8 foot slider. We got the mini blinds inside the glass and it is beautiful and very energy efficient. We ordered the unit in April and since it was a custom order, install was postponed 2 times and done in Mid June. We had some issues with what we thought were scratches on the inside of the glass which took another 5 weeks to take care of....turned out to be glue and cleaned up nicely. The Unit is fantastic, the install was excellent but the customer service in between was not all that I would have hoped for with calls not being returned and dates being changed very close to the scheduled date. Tom Corkery: I visited the Pella showroom looking for a specific window with an arch on top for a kitchen remodel. I tried the big box stores, but they were not able to help me. An Carlson: I had a very good experience with Oasis Shower Doors and Specialty Glass. I got initial quote responded within 2 hours after I submitted my quote request online. The onsite visit was schedule for the next couple days. Eric from the Peabody shop did the onsite consultation. He was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and even came up with an unconventional design to save us money. The total price was 20% less than all other quotes. We had the glass door installed about 6 weeks after the initial quote. I cannot be more happier.

The tile on our shower floor is not flat so we had a slight leak at the bottom (which we were warned might happen) but they came right out the next day and fixed it. While he was here he was able to take and repair a broken window pane for us as well (for an additional cost of course) but he made it very convenient for us. I would highly recommend and use them again.
