She doesn't have great customer service skills the way she talk to me, you would think that she thought I was stealing. I am way too educated to be taking things that does not belong to me. A person should never look at someone because of context of their skin.

V: I have been shopping at this specific location for 10+ years. They have a wide variety of shoes for both men and women. It’s always organized & the staff are friendly. FIRST FLOOR: Men & Women sneakers. SECOND FLOOR: womens heels, boots & Clarence section. If the escalator going down to first floor isn’t working. There is an elevator & stairs to lead you back down. I ordered a pair of boots online for pickup at this location for the first time and wanted to ask a few questions regarding the pickup. I made three different phone calls. The first one was put on hold forever (10 mins+) and never heard back. The next two calls got picked up and hung up immediately without saying anything. This is super rude. I totally understand that they are busy. They can just leave ignore the calls in the first place. So, I didn't have to wait for them.Anyhow, due to its prime location, I will probably shop here again.

I thus thought I’d get a Bex in 7 and the Spence in 6.Olive kindly and wisely advised me against this, and patiently explained the reasoning behind why. She instead suggested models and sizes that would actually suit my anatomy, for healthier and more comfortable long-term fits. It turned into a scene and that's why I'm writing this review - completely mismanaged and unprofessional staff. Uncomfortable for everyone around.Do NOT shop here. Staff care very little for the customers and it was extremely clear the job is only a paycheck to them. Shocking.

Sharony S: Giving 3 stars because we tried stopping by the store on Saturday, 7/23, mid afternoon and they were closed. There was a sign up that said the store was closed for the rest of the day. There was still staff inside. Not sure what happened, as it would've been nice for an explanation for why the store closed early. Then they're closed on Sundays and then Monday we were flying home. We ended up eating lunch at the restaurant next door and saw probably 50 or so people during that time try to get into the store and couldn't because it was closed. I'd probably call to verify they're open before making a special trip there.

e (e): Sales person in handbag department was extremely rude and aggressive. My mother and I went in yesterday looking for a new Longchamp bag to replace her old one. We were looking at other bags when we were approached by this woman asking if we needed help. We said we did not and that we were just looking around. She proceeded to follow us around which did not really bother us. What did bother me however was when we went over to look at the Longchamp bags. My mother had asked if there was anyway she could get hers repaired because it was still in good condition and it just needed some fixing up. The woman said that they did not do that anymore and the bags typically only last one year (my mother has had that bag for ten years or more) so we should just buy a new one every year. We both laughed because we knew that was just another way for them to get you to purchase more of their bags. The woman then said something like, "You are laughing but this is the cheapest bag we sell. We sell $10,000 bags here!" "Are you not going to buy the bag?" We said we were not and left. The people in the beauty department were kind and helpful.

Kiana Chanel: Only giving this review 3 stars because of an employee named Camryn she deserves 5 stars her aura and customer service was impeccable she was professional and personable felt like I was shopping with a friend the entire timeBut I had to return some items and my God it was DISASTROUS the customer service was disgusting no one is really at the registers in the morning customers are getting told the register they’re checking out at or making a return at is not online yet and to go find another register lol I was sent to five registers before completing my return then the employee tried to snatch the items out my daughters hand she literally reached over the counter and attempted to grab the items out my daughters hand until I told her I’d contact corporate for how wildly inappropriate she acted. She tore open the garnet bag and there was fur from the item I returned flying around very hostile and aggressive. She did apologize but my god it was busy in Bloomingdale’s Sunday morning.

Christine Nunziato-Bonenfant: I’m not a regular shopper and don’t often think about going to Bloomingdale’s. However, the Bloomingdale’s at the Chestnut Hill Mall in Newton has shifted my attention away from online Amazon outlets back to the brick and mortar. This Bloomingdales has plenty of open space, pleasant and knowledgeable staff and some honestly priced attire to browse through. Their current cashmere sweater sale is impressive with colors more beautiful than ever. And their dressing rooms are well sized and easy to use. Their return policy is effortless and service excellent.

Also, why as a customer did I overhear about employees stealing each other lunches? Should they not hide that? And why was there strange political jargon spewed in the parking garage (literal flyers put on people's cars)?Classist, ablest, and unkind policies for both customers and employees. Fire alarms had gone off not just once but twice in a week. Concerning behavior all around.

Alyssa Sierra: Walked here from the Andrews T stop. Walked through a REALLY sketch area just to buy a new pair of converse. Definitely will NOT be walking in this part of town again (especially by myself, you want converse definitely bring a friend). Much like the other reviews, the staff was not welcoming and did really just stand around like mannequins). They weren’t mean or anything but didn’t go out of their way for “customer service.” However I know some people prefer not being helped. I got basic low-top black and white chucks, listed for $60. I paid $54 with the 10% student discount. I honestly think it was a really good price

Charisse Thompson: extremely unprofessional workers. tried to return shoes that were a size too small and couldn't even exchange them for the correct size. i would recommend never buying loafers here as well because if they're too small, the workers here will give you trouble returning them.

Jess Reyes: Ordered shoes to be shipped to my house. Both the heels were the sample display ones because they had been worn in and expanded, they were also dirty and scuffed up. Very disappointed I was going to wear them for a photo shoot and birthday celebration but one shoe for each pair is bigger than the other.

Jay Fisher: Their customer service is a joke. My 82-year-old mother, who WAS a longtime customer, tried to return a purse last week that she bought for my sister at Christmas, but she no longer had the receipt (the zipper on the bag broke within a month even after very little use). We were told if we brought the credit card statement in showing the purchase we would receive a credit. We brought the statement in proving the amount and date of purchase two days later, but a different manager told us a completely different story and said we had to call customer service OURSELVES IN THE STORE. We called and were put on hold. So there we are in the store on hold with a manager who was completely unhelpful and who had lots of attitude. Needless to say, nobody ever picked up the phone and the manager could not and would not do anything about it, which brought my elderly mother, who recently had open-heart surgery and suffered a fall, to tears. I hope Aldo is proud of making an old sick woman on a fixed income jump through all of these hoops to NOT get a $38.23 credit. SHAMEFUL! Think about that the next time you pass them by in the mall. (And I hope you do pass them by.)

X R: Emily the store manager is amazing. Went above and beyond the call of duty when helping me retrieve a receipt I’d thrown away for a return. Emily went out of their way to find the receipt (which id been told I’d have to go back to the store to get a new copy of) and email it to me. In between they also left me voicemails explaining the Situation and being nothing but totally positive and helpful. Seriously cannot thank you enough!!!!!Converse is lucky to have employees like Emily. Cheers to Emily!
