lemon: Its just resold clothes from target and shien or wherever else. Nothing is really truly vintage and the rack hasn't changed in months.

Elena Musella: My best friend and I came to Salem to attend the Endless Night Vampire Ball at The Hawthorn Hotel but the costumes we rented in the mail didn’t show up on time so we called The Costume Company the day before the ball! The owner answered right away, got us an appointment the next day, hours before the ball, and was an amazing help. We loved the whole experience working with her from start to finish! It was so much fun wearing the costumes, she pulled some ahead of our visit so we could go quickly, the costumes are SO comfortable, such high quality and fun to wear that I never wanted to take it off. That night in Salem, we got interviewed by 3 video news stations and everyone on the street and in the party complimented our costumes and wanted to take pictures with us. We even got nominated and came in 2nd place for the costume contest! We splurged for the more expensive costumes and it was 100% worth it because it made people in Salem just so happy and excited to see people really decked out with such beautiful and authentic costumes for Halloween. We think everyone attending a Salem Halloween event should get their costumes here. We love her 💗
Eric Sun: Had a party that was Bridgerton themed. Contacted the Costume company via email and got a very quick response. I arranged a time to look at clothes and there was already a selection laid out. Then I rented for the weekend and returned it on Monday. Would highly recommend!

Paul Kelley: service here has been better lately. Last year while still under the pandemic situation where not many people wanted to work here I am thinking, we were treated terribly. After watching us go through items and pick them out, the cashier tells us that the register is closed because the store is closed and wouldn't let us buy the items. The manager just seemed like he didn't want to deal with her probably because it was the only help he could get at the time. I did not come back to this place for a long time because of that but looks like whoever that was hopefully doesn't work there anymore

Kathryn Raymond: Ordering balloons makes no sense at all and the staff couldn’t care less. They insist that you must order online or come in to store. Online ordering is completely disabled four balloons for this location and they are saying the wait time for balloons in store is 45 minutes to an hour. That is absolutely outrageous. When I asked the person over the phone given the wait time is there anyway to place my order (happy to pay ahead) so you don’t physically in the store for one hour waiting on six latex balloons she said no and couldn’t care less-what about people with injuries or disabilities?! Or a life? Get with it party city!

Timur Rustamov: They really have some crazy stuff there as well as more traditional items that you would expect to see in a party shop. Really a little bit of everything, with good space organization (each aisle has a theme/color scheme).

Xf Yin: We went there on Friday to get things bought for my son’s Sunday birthday party. The man on checkout kindly offered to let us pick up the balloons on Sunday morning so we would have nice and big balloons for the party. However when I went there around 11am on Sunday, they were so busy with other orders and I waited for 10 minutes for no one helping. The young girl who’s preparing the balloons told me they have more than 300 balloons ahead they don’t have time to get mine ready. I don’t understand why they put online orders even before the order placed a couple days ago in store. If I know the situation earlier I would not choose picking up at all. I ended up taking the balloons home and blew them all by ourselves. It’s such disappointing experience. Hope they have more stuffs on weekends and have some kinder stuffs as well.

Most personnel is very nice and attentive without annoyance. Young people work there and it's fun to interact with them. What's strange is that girls didn't give you a sec. of their attention. As the matter of fact after observing who is available I chose a young guy because of his facial expression,when girls wouldn't look me in the eye and acted like I'm not standing right in front of them waiting to get helped.

I go to pick up my order and they can’t find my balloons, when they finally find them they aren’t blown up and to top it off the manager told me they ran out of helium. She asked how soon I needed the balloons and didn’t even know when they would have helium. Terrible! Balloons are a very important part of any event and they should know that if they have an order scheduled for pick up - they should reach out to the customers letting them know there is a delay! Just terrible service .

I set a pair of eyelashes down on the counter because I didn’t want them anymore and she rudely demanded the lashes from the shelf I placed them on them ripped them out of my hands and walked away. Then she proceeded to checking me out with an attitude and kept throwing things around including the items I was purchasing. She was a short black girl with glasses and a hat on. I don’t know why she decided to be so rude but it was a horrible experience when I’ve never had one like that prior.

When I asked for the specific item that wasn’t in the aisle she said they didn’t have it . I showed her there were 8 in stock according to the online inventory and she didn’t even offer to go look maybe in the back or anything just kept saying they didn’t have it . She didn’t look at a device to see if it was located elsewhere. Legit wasted my time and felt as though she just brushed me off. Drove to Avon and received amazing customer service

Melissa Defay: I had to leave a one star review not because of the balloons and the quality, because I actually think they do a great job with that but because of the so called manager’s awful treatment towards me this evening. I walked in to request 5 balloon bouquets and I could see the woman at the counter was so stressed trying to complete the tasks so I patiently waited. She took my order but was so tensed throughout the whole transaction so I politely told her I would be waiting in the car and would come back so they wouldn’t feel pressured with me standing around. I waited 15 minutes and returned only to hear her talking about me to a staff member saying “that lady in the car is definitely a problem! She didn’t pre-order and she just walked in!” She clearly did not see that I was standing there so she gathered all the balloons and was running out to bring them to me so I stopped her and said hi I’m right here! She shoved the balloons in my hands and was so nasty and said “yeah bye enjoy goodbye!” While she rolled her eyes. This is definitely not my idea of good customer service and am appalled that someone who is supposed to be a manager is treating paying customers in such a manner. Even a few customers that observed the whole thing had their mouths open with how crass she was. Get some class and a massage while you’re at it!

This location and their personnel were getting the job done. They took our same day orders and completed it within the time we were in the store. We noticed that they were taking several same-day orders and efficiently filling them as they came in with what they needed. I enjoyed seeing how they worked together to get the mission accomplished. The store was fairly neat upon our arrival. It appeared that they were also stocked up with seasonal items for shoppers.Great job!

It’s the type of balloon that’s clear on the outside with cut out shapes inside that are suppose to move inside. Well, with the high float, the balloon became cloudy and shapes inside stuck to the balloon walls. I was terribly disappointed and asked if I may select something else instead but they refused. They said that I would have to pay for the package … and the high float, which is literally all of it! What happened to customer is always right? Within reason of course. The $20 item (that’s $10 balloons and $10 float) caused them a bad review and a lower rating. The selection is very poor regardless so I doubt I will ever return.

Saim Irshad: I bought nye decoration on 12/30/22 and once I got a call from a few of my friends that they have tested positive and can’t make it to the party I went to return the decoration the next day. The manager of the store won’t give me a full refund with the receipt instead she offered me a store credit. This is unfortunate that this company doesn’t understand that what Covid has done. What will I do with the store credit. I should have been given full refund since the packing wasn’t even open . Very rude team at Burlington . The return policy states online as long as you have the receipt and everything it’s in the normal packaging it ok to get full refund . I explained about Covid but they didn’t really care about that . I did my return for store credit on 12/31. They should inform their customers about these situation. Never again shopping at party city . Awful experience

allie scott: Bought some fortnite decorations for my son's party. I have to say it was a very limited supply and a bit expensive. I think I will have to check target maybe. I hoped to avoid crowds but it was very overly crowded. The check out line ran all of the way down the second to last asile so I was unable to get to the items there. There were about 7 employees behind the counter. 3 on registers, 3 doing nothing, and 1 filling balloons. This store actually charged the lady behind me $1 to put balloons in a bag!

María Reyna: I usually go to this party city to buy a balloon for my baby so we can take a picture every month since she was born. Today I went to the store and it was completely empty at 4pm on a Thursday. At least 2 employees there but one of them told me I had to wait at least 45 minutes to get the balloon inflated. It literally takes 60 seconds to get this done but he refused it. This Party City is in route 1 in the middle of nowhere so nothing to do in the meantime so of course I left without my balloon inflated. Sad this is the closest to my house but I will try to find another place that I can get 1 ballon inflated without wasting the whole evening because they can’t get this done in 1 minute. He couldn’t care less.
