Nicholas Serrano: Buyer Beware! Items in this shop are overpriced. We went this week to do some shopping and were interested in a small pendant. When we asked her to see it, she told us it was priced at $120, then "because it's a real sapphire" $125, "but I can knock it down to $112". We passed and actually went with a small ring for $45, "but that tag should say $60, but oh well". After getting back to the hotel, we went looking for other sellers of these same items and all other sellers had them priced at HALF the cost. The pendant was also a lab created sapphire which is cheaper than an authentic one. Overall, go to this place to look, but buy what you want online, not here.
Wouldn't You Like To Know: I had a bad experience with the woman, who I believe runs the place, I truly believe she is one the most smug patronizing naive people I ever had the displeasure of meeting. However as an Asatruar I loved a lot of the Norse related things there, but I highly don't recommend talking to that woman let alone getting a reading from her.
Heather Hays: My friend and I went here on our recent trip to Salem. Had to wear a mask ok im fine with that they may be at a health risk. Here is my issue and it is partly on myself for not knowing more but when someone comes in and you tell them you are selling them a clear crystal ball then sell them a clear crystal ball. Upon coming home my "crystal" ball is now purple no longer clear. Why is this??? After reaching out to some witchy friends and doing some research I find out I was sold a K9 photography ball. Now can it still be used for scrying possibly im still researching but to know and then not inform your customers of this specific information in my eyes is an out right lie.Now my friend found a necklace that called to her and she loves it however sadly this is my review and my advice for people planning on spending their money.... DONT there are much better shops with better ethics. And for the shop owner maybe you should list your store as both a metaphysical shop and a photography accessory shop. You know to be honest with people.

Also had to wait a really long time(because covid was still a big thing at this point so I understand) but all the signs the owner put up were kind of unwelcoming. The girl(who I believe is the owner) was friendly! There are definitely better stores, skip this one

Hearth Wisdom Store: One of my favorite shops. We visited with the owner 5 yrs ago, before we opened our shop in Texas - they were so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We did not have that same experience with some of the other shops in the area. We will always be so grateful for the hospitality we received here and encourage people to visit this shop first!

She’s very kind and helpful and even through in a few crystals for free after speaking for a while. She seems like a wonderful person and I recommend supporting her shop! On top of the great atmosphere, I had a reading done here and it’s was wonderful. She really took her time and explained things and gave me a lot of incite. Best reading I had in Salem! 100% recommend checking this place out!

I've never felt out of place here.I recently had a reading done with Ashley, and she was AMAZING!She was very nice, down to earth, and very easy to talk to (No BS and nothing cryptic. Very straight forward). She explained everything clearly, and I left feeling like a pressure had been lifted off my chest for the first time in a long time. I'm really picky about getting readings done, and I 100% recommend her.

She helped me understand the difference between tarot and oracle decks and even showed me her own deck.Then due to a problem with the register where I had to wait for a while, they gave me a free bag of crystals, which she chose after asking me what I felt I needed help with. Aimee Dumas: Crow Haven Corner is my go to place when I’m in Salem. It is so magical, fun and inspiring for the practicing or novice newbie. I stayed with the shop owner, Lorelei, at her LoveNest Airbnb. She is an amazing host and truly cares about making your stay as wonderful as possible. Both the Airbnb and shop are filled with gorgeous ornaments, candles, figurines and so much more. If anything, it gives you some great inspiration to decorate your own home. I felt so comfortable and enjoyed the overall ambiance! There are some doggies and a kitty. They are all so cute and friendly. If you offer the kitty treats, she will join you when you go to sleep. ; ) Lastly, Lorelei is a spot-on terrific psychic too. If anything, I’d highly recommend getting a reading from her. The whole experience was a nice retreat for me. I highly recommend! ; )

They brought me to this Crow Haven Corner shop where they were picking out some goodies for their magical needs. Me personally, I am not to into it things like this to much, but I had an amazing experience! The front desk staff, Micaela was welcoming, upbeat and fun to chat with. The store really immersed you into a new world. But then, I found out that they do physic readings there. I decided to get one. I got to sit down with Charlotte who’s bloodline has a history doing readings for people, and wow was she phenomenal! Informative, direct, and was able to cover my personality traits, my health and well-being, career and love life. I was captivated by the experience which will stick with me. I highly recommend you check this place out especially if you wish to get a reading.

sabrina Bellini: I have been here twice so if I could put two reviews in, I would. The first time was awesome. I had so much fun I decided to celebrate my birthday in Salem a few months later. The first time, I did a tarot card reading with a house reader and he was great, very believable, very specific.The second time I went I decided to get a reading with Lorelei. It was a horrible experience. First, you pay 90 dollars for 30 minutes, you assume she is good with time since she was booked one after another, nope got me at 3:47pm when it was scheduled at 330pm. I go back there and it was a mess. Three dogs lying around the room with bowls. The room is cluttered you can barely walk which is a hazard. She couldn’t tell me a thing, was very vague. It was just bad, at one point she told me a male was around me who passed but couldn’t tell me more asked me if I knew someone who passed, I stated I knew a lot of people who died which is true in one year alone, 5 people I know died so yes you need to be a bit more specific. But she literally asked me to pick one umm that’s not how that works I been to mediums and they can recite more than a male who died young and likes music that’s all she gave me. At one point she got snappy with me so I snapped back because it was my birthday and if you can’t do your job that you are charging me 90 dollars for then pick something else to do. She also felt the need to constantly touch my hand which I’m not a touchy person I hate touching people and it would be long periods of hand over hand holding which was not for me. Really disappointing. I ended up at the omen down the street and got a reading done there wasn’t that great because I could tell the guy was tired and exhausted from so many readings but it was better.So two experiences at this place the house readers are awesome but don’t waste your money on Lorelei

MegsOnMain Street: Very cute little shop! Felt a bit “watched” while shopping… little signs everywhere stating “Our Witches Are Watching” so it’s not a secret. We purchased some beautiful palm stones- their book is practical & gorgeous!! I’d visit again as they were friendly & the shop is light & bright! B B: We went to the store in Salem for my birthday this year, and it was so cool. I bought the Furies candle because it smelled *AMAZING* and the entire thing is awesome. The wood wick is wide so the whole top of the wax melts evenly, leaving the top always nice and smooth. The wood wick also has a soft crackling sound almost like a mini bonfire. I absolutely love it and will be buying another!

Lauren Reyes: We came this week for the brim making class and it was SO MUCH FUN! Celia led our group through the history and art of broom making. She was so sweet and it was so obvious she really loves her job! The amount of seats available is the perfect size for this sort of thing. Enough comes included with the base price that you can make a beautiful, personalized broom; but my sister and I took full advantage of the extras to really deck ours out. all add ins are clearly priced which was appreciated. Even with the add ons I felt it was well worth the money spent for both the education and finished product. I can’t wait to come back to do the book binding class as well.
Rachel Cackovic: My sister is getting married soon so her and us bridemaids drove to salem for our bachelorette trip. I found this place and recommended it because it sounded cool. My sister made the appt and none of us were disappointed. All of our brooms turned out beautiful and it really was quite easy. I loved getting to be creative with it and add what I wanted. They walk you through the entire process and the staff were all super friendly. It was a really fun activity to do, highly recommend!
April DeRossett: I was in town with my sister's as a get-away. We were looking for some experiences and the local visitor's center referred us to a broom making class so we walked on over. We had to book the class through their online tool (which was super easy) at which time we noticed that they had a bookbinding class. This spoke to all of us so we did the bookbinding instead of the broom making. We had a great time. They gave us plenty of time to be creative and the atmosphere was relaxing. We each got to take home a one-of-a-kind keepsake. Great experience! Totally worth it!
Melanie Pool: Feeling crafty in Salem? Schedule yourself a class here!! I had the best time making a broom with a fantastic instructor. She even told me, " welcome to your new hobby". Um, yes! Obsessed!! The shop has numerous ways to let your inner crafty biatch go wild, from leather bound journals to dolls, and of course, besoms! Highly recommend. If you won't be able to fly your broom home ( haha) , the UPS store in town is very familiar and experienced in shipping them. Absolutely one of the most fun things to do whilst in Salem.

T Spencer: Great experience! This was the highlight to our trip. We enjoyed making the brooms and meeting other travelers. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it felt rushed. There is not a lot of time to figure out how you'd like to lay out the design for your broom you have to dive in and get it done because you're moved out the door promptly so the next group can start on time. (Which makes sense) If there's room in their business model to add an additional 15-30 minutes per session, it would be perfect.

v: I visited Omen twice in Salem, both at different times of the year in 2021 and 2022. The shop is beautiful and it stayed well kept and full - I loved the healing altar of Isis in the front left. I left a petition and offering and I’m happy say that health was granted for the person in need. Magic and doctors can work miracles together. The shop was clean and organized which was great. I loved the hall of tarot as well. They had every witch craft and occult book you can do want, including binders and books of shadows. There were tarot card, gris gris bags and so much more. They also have a wide variety of statues which was really nice. Don’t miss this place the next time you’re in Salem! Oh and visit their sister store HEX!

Rose Proodian: reading was pretty spot on expect for the fact that I got told I won’t be with the person I’m dating…? I did not ask for that information at all and left crying. The reader (shamar idk how to say it) could tell I was not happy with that being said and asked me if I wanted to see what the person in my future relationship will look like. I was very close to walking out but stayed. I visit Salem each summer, and will certainly return to him at Omen.
Vanessa Ellis: Always one of my first stops in Salem— it’s a great place for gifts and tarot readings. My friend has gotten a few readings with Debra Lori and was super happy with the service. Staff are super helpful with bookings too. The huge framed tarot prints are awesome decor and a great photo op as well!

Kelsey Girdwood: Quiet, calm, and full of amazing pieces. Book selection is great as well. The variety of cultural products, and representation were great to see. Quite a few one of a kind pieces in the Salem shop. The knives, and swords were to die for. Cards, minerals, and pendulums beckon you like you're in a pet shop. 5/5 will be back, and will absolutely be checking out the Omen in NoLa as well.
Abbey Watkins: Debra Lori is amazing! Had a phone reading and she was SPOT ON! So down to earth and incredible, she put my mind and ease and helped me to know what decisions to make! Couldn’t recommend her enough!
Justyna Gosch: I came in on the 31st of October (Halloween) shooting in the dark, trying to get tarot reading even though everywhere else was booked up and busy as heck.I’ve seen Omen as number 1 recommended on the internet and rightfully so. I was offered a slot which turned out to be only about 30/45 min wait! Was really pleased about that.It’s such a lovely store! I enjoyed going through all the wonderful things they had in there!! I even bought few things for myself :)Now on to the tarot reading… this is from a perspective of a person who believes in tarot, magic/energy etc. thought it was my first time doing one.Darleen was so lovely! Such a friendly person, who may I say blew me away with my reading. Knowing that people can lead tarot readers with some information, I simply said that I just want to know about my life, career, family and love and from there on she talked.And did she tell me things that are/have been happening in my life - with spot on time when that was happening.She talked about my brother who is significantly younger and off at uni, and those are the words she used.I was nicely surprised and loved every minute of my reading.Thank you Darleen!Do visit even if you’re not planning on getting a reading.
Noneya Beezwax: Went to the Halloween night seance that had a full crowd of about 50 people. Lori was our medium and although she was very nice, I didn't get the feeling of any true psychic abilities. She spent most of the time reading her friends (which she admitted to) and whispering their readings, and whispering a few other groups readings too. Others were given readings that the entire audience could hear. I didn't expect sitting for an hour listening to whispers. True seances aren't whispered. It was both odd and uncomfortable.Her redeeming moment was trying to give mini readings to each person there, because it was Halloween. That was thoughtful. However, my reading was completely off. She didn't capture my grandmother AT ALL. It was a generic grandmother reading, from a stereotype vagueness that certainly didn't portray the woman I knew. I couldn't wait for it to be over. The girls behind us were upset because she didn't read them, even though they raised their hands multiple times.Their signage for the seance was confusing. Went to mall door which had conflicting signs. Then went around to Essex St store entrance and heard multiple people asking where it was. They led us straight to the back entrance in the mall where we initially were. We waited there a long time without being allowed to sit down and get comfortable before the reading. Once inside, the outside noise and screaming from haunted house was very distracting. They should pad up the walls where the noise is coming from.Definitely wouldn't waste money on it again. This was supposed to be the highlight of our trip and ended up being a huge flop. It wasn't even entertaining, which was our only expectation of the night.
Amerie F-H: I went to a psychic at the psychic fare and it was well-worth the 30min session. The shop is cute, I LOVE the handmade leather bound journals and book selection.
Emily Lundquist: The séance was a complete dumpster fire of an event. The medium Julie Ann Thompson did not show up to her own event. The poor workers in the store had to clean up her mess, and were so beyond sweet. They made sure to take our information down to give us all a refund.My disappointment lies in the fact that this was the main event of our trip for Halloween weekend. This seance was planned for the busiest weekend of the year in Salem (Oct 30), and was a highly sought after event. We were left waiting for the event to begin for 30 minutes before we had to go ask the staff what the cause of the wait was for, and learn that she called in sick. Called in sick? For her own event that 30 people paid $50 each for? This isn’t something that happens everyday for people. We were excited to potentially connect with loved ones that have passed, and were instead ghosted by our medium.Extremely disappointed with how this was handled.
Alison Sorensen: Don’t sign up for a seance. Julie Ann Thompson didn’t show up on the busiest weekend of the year (Oct 30th) and left everyone waiting for over 30 minutes before the staff finally offered to refund us. It really ruined our night as we were hoping to connect with loved ones and ended up with a flaky nonexistent experience. We still haven’t gotten out money back. Julie Ann left the staff to clean up her mess she left by not showing up and it is very unprofessional.
Gianna Fabio: The most incredible 30 minute couples reading with Willow! In the couples reading she gave a mini individual reading to both me and my boyfriend and then combined it into a couples reading. She let us ask so many questions and she was so talented. Felt like someone was truly reading both of our minds. &now we can better our relationship with the advice :) Willow is the best !!
Tammy D: I have been going here for 20 years and the psychic Shalimar is the one I have seen for that long. She has continually given me readings with details that have come true. I am someone that believes in my own destiny and in my own truth and that I create my own path, however she does always seem to nail everything that happens.
Bridget King: I paid $90 for a 30 minute mediumship reading with Willow. While she was so sweet & kind spoken, my reading was so very generic. She went into a lot about grandparents and saying “they want you to know they are proud of you”. She wanted me to answer very direct questions, and when I said I would rather just hear what she has to say, she pretty much went blank and began rambling. It seemed that without me giving her specific info, she couldn’t steer the reading to say what I was looking to hear. It just felt very fake and forced. She was very sweet, but the reading was just so generic. I left very disappointed that I spent that much money.
_Lk 03_: While visiting Salem this October, I decided to get a tarot reading. It was beyond what I was expecting. It gave me clear, thorough, and astounding guidance into questions I’ve hashed in my head over and over again. Julie Ann was lovely and so gentle in our reading. A wonderful and cathartic experience!!
Miss Strickland: The Omen is awesome! Shalimar is a great palm and tarot reader. And Angela is a great medium.
