I booked through you guys you should at least give me some kind of refund rather than run around.This is another review similar to mine posted by somebody on different site.They're great until a flight is canceled and you're owed money. Vivek: They are scammers. For change of dates on our flight, they asked us to pay cash via ZELLE. For one of our tickets they made us pay 800$ and mentioned that's the amount airline is charging and nothing is charged by Alanita. They denied sharing an invoice from the airline either.I called the airline and got to know that for this specific change they charged only 500$ (including penalty). Now the airline says that I need to work with Alanita to iron this out eventually makin us pay more.Never booking with them again.

archana kurra: Worst experience.They caused so much inconvenience by letting us know in the last minute about cancellation of connection flight from Delhi to Hyderabad, not even trying figure out how to help the customer inspite of charging so much expensive ticket. Even when the problem is from their side they didn’t even in put minimum effort at least try in a different way . They are irresponsible and trying to exploit the customers . We have spent total 6000$ for 4 tickets now they cancelled all our two and fro tickets from Detroit to Hyderabad and trying to exploit us by demanding more money for tickets knowing that we would not be able to purchase tickets any other way 1 day before travel and these tickets were planned so ahead

I was about to lost 700$ just because of those guys for their poor service and I talked to directly airline and they booked my tickets , waived off the amount for reschedule and return the extra money to my wallet and those guys were asking me to pay extra amount , So please be aware of this agency. Susanta Kumar Sahoo: I had a really bad experience with Alanita travels and I wouldn't recommend them to my friends and family. They are not reliable & transparent at all. They are cheaters.Until you make the reservation through them, they are all very friendly and try to be very helpful. After that they try their best to scam you and take additional money from you.They hide many things from you during the booking. They won't tell you the ticket they are booking whether it's refundable or nonrefundable.For instance, I had to reschedule my ticket that they booked through UA. When I reached out to UA they said it's through some agent and they won't be able to provide any information.So when I reached out to the Alanita representative, the person was very rude and not helpful. On top of that they mentioned tickets are nonrefundable ,but they said they will help with rescheduling and I have to pay the fare differences. When I compare the ticket price on the UA website , it's comparatively low what the agency is asking to pay.When I tried to further explain my case, the representative was rude and hung up.I generally don't write the reviews in google, but the experience was so bad as well as reading other reviews in google confirms the same. I want to make sure others don't have an impact like me and hence I wanted to drop this note.Please suggest if there is any way I can file a fraud case against them.

Rohitash Saini: Worst Service and Cheaters- I bought air tickets (emirates airline) through an agent from alanita travels, due to personal emergency I had to cancel the tickets, I called them and enquired the process, they asked to me pay penalty of $750 for cancellation through zelle transfer which I have sent them by Zelle, then agent mentioned that you will get entire refund from airlne of $2727.04 in two weeks of timeframe, in 2 weeks airline refunded partial amount and deducted another $600 from $2727.04,have been trying to reach out to Alanita travel through email and phone, they don't respond to any email I have sent them multiple times to get my refund, over the phone they just take my phone number and say an agent will call you back but nobody calls me back.they are so customer unfriendly that after selling tickets don't bother to listen customer, no response in email or taking over the phone, for selling tickets, getting money they will follow up multiple times in a daybut later they don't even talk to customer.they have charged the cancellation penalty to me but nothing paid to airline so airline charged me again, since these tickets are booked from Alanita travel , airline doesn't want to entertain me directly. now for two tickets,they have charged me $750 (Alanita travel) $600 (Emirates airline) which is almost 50% 0f my ticket expense. when I was checking on emirates site , in no situation they charge 50% of cancellation, also to add that tickets were cancelled on 23rd Nov. 2022 in afternoon, well in advance of travel plan ( 29th Nov. 2022 at 10:30 PM EST).I need my refund of $750 as ticket cancellation charges $600 already deducted by airline, I also believe Alanita travel is asking customers to pay through zelle so somewhere they are manipulating of taxes as well. it's kind of scam of charging double for ticket cancellation and not paying proper taxes to IRS.

With a large group (20+), Sylvia was incredibly adept and flexible and able to adjust quickly to changing logistics and the varying preferences of group members. (Thrown in museums salsa dancing).It was endless.My personal feeling is, run to get a tour. Cuba is changing, quickly. It is a place, while being rehabbed, still remains in the past. Josh Newman: The Cuban Jazz festival, now, and it’s 38th year, is a must do bucket list trip with Colibri tours. Don’t walk but run to book a spot as soon as you can. Normally we don’t do package tours. But Cuba is a tough place to travel in and Silvia knows Cuba like the back of her hand. We stayed in wonderful Casas, went to excellent restaurants, saw the sights, went to beautiful beaches, toured art galaxies, hiked in the mountains, and most importantly had the inside track on fantastic music. This included private performances that were arranged just for us, fabulous seats at the regular events, and late night Jazz clubs where top performers were Jamming after hours. This was a tour that included the Havana Jazz Festival, and Sylvia had to navigate last minute changes to concert schedules and knock on effects over and above what might happen on a typical tour. They were handled professionally and with aplomb. This company knows Cuba! I expect to repeat this tour. If you are considering Cuba - BY ALL MEANS GO. And if you do go to Cuba, you must use Colibri.

I especially loved the opportunity to meet so many wonderful Cubans, stay in beautiful and interesting places, and enjoy ten great days filled with music and dancing.Cuba is not an easy country to travel to, and people from Colibri make it look not only effortless but also incredibly fun. They quickly answer questions before the trip and send the Cuban visas to your home address. They are well connected to artists, musicians, chefs, and local Cuban people. From famous Kcho (his work is in MOMA), Ares (created the poster for Obama's visit to Cuba), musicians from bands like Los Van Van to chefs at San Cristobal restaurant (where Obama dined in Havana). Our days were filled with great activities: riding through Havana in a vintage convertible, hiking and swimming in waterfalls in Trinidad, singing with Cuban bands, rolling cigars on a tobacco farm in Vinales. Our first few nights in Havana, we stayed in one of the most beautiful villas in the country, with the famous mural 'Three Monkeys' by Cabrera. We visited musicians in their homes and joined evening jam session sing alongs. Our host Wilfredo - who I affectionately called Freddie - was also one of our guides. He is as happy, kind, and upbeat a person as you can meet. And all of this at a great price, less than 1/3 the cost of other tour providers we considered. Now, when you found this company, all you need to do is immediately sign up for one of their tours! You will love every minute of the experience.

We enjoyed a tour of Lima with lunch at one of the best restaurants in the world, and a cooking class; went on to Cusco, which is a beautiful city with great architecture and shopping; hiked in the Sacred Valley, and then on to the incredible Machu Picchu by train. Sylvia is smart, generous, and caring, does her research, and always incorporates history and culture into her tours.
