Robert Marquales: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I made an on-line reservation for a cab from my house in Cambridge to Logan Airport a day in advance for a 3:30 PM pickup to make a 5:30 flight. I was waiting in front of my house at 3:20 – no cab by 3:45. I was getting very worried, so I called dispatch. After four tries, someone finally answered the phone. I told them I was very concerned about making my flight, and asked how long it would be until my taxi arrived. The dispatcher told me that if I wasn’t in front of my house on-time, the cab would leave. I told him I was there, and that the driver had my cell phone number, but didn’t call. I asked politely how long it would be to get another cab, and the dispatcher told me “I don’t have anything, call another company”, and hung up.I was getting desperate, after trying several other cab companies with no luck, it occurred to me to try a rideshare. I downloaded the Uber App, and had a car in front of my house in five minutes. The ride was great, and I made my flight. I will never use a traditional taxi company again.After reaching my destination, I called Cambridge Taxicab for an explanation. Three calls to three different dispatchers each met with incredibly rude responses. It’s like they’re trying to kill their business.There is a reason why they get all one star and five star reviews. He told me it was "disrespectful" to ask what the fares were because Uber and Lyft were more expensive during that time of night. He said this cab service is something I need to use consistently without giving me any explanation and also hung up on me when I was speaking. I am also new to the city. Great to know that their "friendly and knowledgeable agents," as it states on the website are the exact opposite. I don't understand how turning potential customers away intentionally helps your business but hey you do you, no wonder cab services are dying out.

I got an email confirmation that they would be there for the scheduled pick up but no one ever showed up and I didn’t even get a phone call. Thankfully I had built in extra time and managed to get an Uber. DO NOT schedule rides with this company. They are unprofessional and can’t be trusted with something important like this.

Rob Ackman: I booked a taxi a a week in advance to go to the airport. The cab showed up the next morning. I told the driver that I needed the cab in 5 days. I sent an email and received confirmation that I would have a cab at 7am on the 26th. On the day of the 26th, no cab came to my house. I called the number and left a message. No one called me back. Fortunately, a neighbor gave me a ride to the airport and I made my flight. This company is a joke.

We learned this when our reserved taxi to the airport (at 4am!) never showed up, even though we got a confirmation email. So we called the listed number and reached a different company, which happily had someone available 8 minutes away, so my mother (barely) got to her flight on time. Does Cambridge Taxi Cab even exist?

Robert Self: This service is dependable as I have used it several times but the pricing for luggage is ridiculous. A Lyft/Uber from my house to the airport (5 miles) is $27, a taxi is $34, and this service is $131 because they charge you for bags.One time I had one of the drivers ransom me at the airport and demand I pay $30 extra because I had marked 2 bags when I booked but we had 4 bags (including personal bags). There is no extra cost or effort required to take 2 more bags, they are just nickel and diming which results in a fare 5X a lyft or taxi.

This service is especially great because they come with the size car seats we requested already installed. They have infant, regular, and booster options.

Boston Airport Express drivers are consistently safe and courteous, and need little direction to get to my destination.Communication is responsive, fast, and comprehensive. I get both an email and text detailing my reservation, which contains all the relevant details, so I can easily verify that no detail was missed. I then get a confirmation of the driver's name, along with a description of the vehicle and license plate. The driver then contacts me via text when he arrives at the airport, to give me the pickup location. At all time I am confidant of the status of my reservation/ride as well as my ability to contact the driver if needed.Prices are reasonable. Yes, you can probably get a cheaper ride from Lyft or Uber (depending on surge pricing, etc.). But I've had friends miss flights due to Uber drivers not showing up. So is it worth saving a little money, to have questionable reliability from random drivers? That is a choice for each individual to make. For me, I would rather pay a bit more for peace of mind.This service has modern mini vans in nice condition. Free bottled water is offered during the ride. Child seats are available for a small additional fee. Massively useful for travelling families.Overall, I highly recommend Boston Airport Express.

The taxi has always been at the scheduled spot, waiting ahead of time. I have found them to be reliable & timely, which is what matters if you are trying to catch a flight. I do recommend.

We don’t recommend this number at all, we think it is illegal operation; we refused to take it, so be careful. after I read another reviews sound right ,RIP OFF! Do not use these guys. They have several websites and several numbers that all ring into the same dispatcher. They will quote you one price for the trip, then raise the price $50+ when the cab picks up the party. When you call the dispatcher back, they won't answer the call. The guy who posted below is right, there really is no Somerville Taxi. This is a total scam.
