Andy T: The store is pleasant enough. Good beer selection. Good stuff for liqueurs. For the most part, there isn't too much to complain. I used to come here regularly.However, some of the management behavior is rather questionable. During the pandemic, when masks were in short supply, the store started to sell loose KN95 masks and hand sanitizer at ridiculous markups (something like $10 a mask), clearly hoping to price gouge and take advantage of a national emergency.Alcohol sales was already at an all time high during the lock down, so one must conclude that the price gouging was done purely out of greed. I cannot in good conscience continue to support this establishment, and will be taking my business elsewhere.

They have some high end, limited bottles and are always happy to find what you want. Great prices as well.

Siddharth Raju: Since I moved to the neighborhood last year, Norton's has been my go-to spot for all my alcohol needs. They've got a respectable craft beer selection, especially for a store of their size; I've been able to find pretty niche stuff from the west coast that I don't see in most other places. The owners are super friendly and seem to get along with regular customers. And they do tastings with local wine sellers on Saturdays (maybe Fridays too) which is great for expanding your horizons and supporting locals! Some of the beers are a little pricier than I would expect ( $13 for a 4-pack from Night Shift) but generally you can get 6-packs of classics like Fat Tire and 90-minute for under $12. Overall, prices are very reasonable, especially given that they have a super convenient location right on Mass Ave and their own private parking lot in a fairly dense business area.I think the previous ownership was perhaps not the greatest (it was before I moved so I can't personally comment) which is why you may see some less than positive reviews on reviews prior to 2019. The new owners, however, are fantastic and I wish them continued success in the coming years.

Khera Douglass: You should know about wines if you go to this store. I'm not a big wine person but I was buying some for dinner with friends. I asked about Bourbon Barrel, aged Zinfandel, and the short woman with glasses, and two buns said we don't carry that. I had to interrupt her conversation with the other clerk to ask the question. I then had to ask where the Zinfandels were. She pointed them out and went back to her conversation... I would have loved for someone to ask me what I was looking for and help me find it. But, maybe the clerks are just there to take money and aren't knowledgeable about wine.

Thomas Vaccaro: Has more or less the bare essentials, with a few important products missing. One of the more expensive liquor stores in the neighborhood. The owner is unhelpful, too; and in some cases they have been rude to people I know in town. Plenty of options elsewhere.
Julio de Barros: Not immigrant friendly.I am a 27 years old immigrant to this country. The only documents I have here are the government issued New York Id and my visa. On a rainy day, I went there to buy some wine but they refused to sell because I wasn't carrying my passport -- of course, I always carry the most important document I have when I go buy wine, especially in the occasion of a storm.When a friend (28yo) tried to purchase they also refused because the person saw him talking to me.Impressive the amount of red tape we face and the treatment we get.

Ben smith: Unfortunately I shop here regularly as it’s the most convenient place due to proximity to the supermarket. It’s easily 2/3$ mark up on liquor and not great beer prices. But I pay it happily - and am in there 3-4 time a week. Probably spend $100 weekly. What I would consider a regular customer. They do not care about the customer. They close early and lock the door 5 min before the posted closing time.. right before I went to walk in a grab a 6 pack (would take less than 2 min) the manager locked the door. Ignores my knocking, and then was a defensive jerk when I asked him why when he came out right at the posted closing time. Anyways - that’s the last time I will go there, and I’ll take my 5k of yearly business elsewhere.

Erich W: Good selection of beer and wine but abysmal, near criminal markup on liquor, especially whiskey. Plus, bottles are stored on their side, so you’ll likely pay, if you’re willing to, 500-1000% markup and then get home with a cork-rotted bottle. I boycott this place out of principle.

Mark Duddy: This spot is where I am from; I went to grade school on Rindge Avenue. The selection of Fine Spirits, Wine, and Beer is impeccable and the Prices cannot be beaten. My favorite L, or LQ, or Package Store! Ask for my Friend Rodrigo he knows all and you be very pleased. They now deliver as well, the minimum is $50. Most places require a $100 minimum; keep the old BRIDGE ALIVE👍

omar bensaid: Awesome staff and such a huge variety of worldwide fine wines and a satisfying service to a very demanding type of customers.They also have recycling system to return bottles and cans deposits, using recycling machines at the back of the store.They accept only the products sold in their store and takeglace + plastic + cans.

RM Fouche: The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and their enthusiasm for good spirits (both the liquid and emotional kind) is readily apparent. Cellar Wine has more wine in stock than liquor or beer, but each category is well represented nonetheless. The store has a relaxed atmosphere, which I especially appreciate when I am just looking for something to enjoy based on my mood.
Shandra Jones: Super nice, local service. Inventory is nicely assorted although they won't have "everything". But while you might not find a specific brand of interest, they can recommend an alternative that they do carry. I'll go back.

Hilary Fabre: I absolutely love the guys who work at Dana HillLiquor Mart. They are clearly knowledgeable about what they sell and they have a good selection of wine and beer. I mainly go in because they are so friendly to my dog Jasper. He drags me there as often as he can, to get a biscuit and to hang out with the guys. They are always happy to see us and we love to chat. In fact there is a regular group of dogs and dog owners who stop by. It’s quite nice too that it is right next to the Plough and Stars and The Mass Ave Diner which share outdoor seating. The whole scene adds a lot to our neighborhood. Just to know-they deliver. Whoever said that they are unfriendly is incorrect. Maybe one of them was having a bad day, but I can tell you it’s the friendliest liquor store in Cambridge.

bernard mcclamy jr.: They are pet friendly, all of the staff greet you with a smile and treat you like you are somebody,also they have a lot of different variety of wines red white as well as new type of beer that's made locally.

Reed Roberts: The Dana Hill Liquor Mart has a wide selection of both wines and beers. The staff are very responsive and helpful in providing recommendations based on a description of what you like or what the occasion is.
J Park: Asked for a Blantons bourbon and they said I have to buy another $99 bourbon with it because the one I asked for is scarce. I seriously do not understand how they operate. I would have bought Glanmorangie Signet instead if I were asking for something close to $200 expense.
RM Fouche: You'd never know it by the size, but the selection at Dana Hill Liquor Mart is quite diverse -- most particularly the beer selection. The staff is always friendly and knowledgable about their products.
