Andy T: The store is pleasant enough. Good beer selection. Good stuff for liqueurs. For the most part, there isn't too much to complain. I used to come here regularly.However, some of the management behavior is rather questionable. During the pandemic, when masks were in short supply, the store started to sell loose KN95 masks and hand sanitizer at ridiculous markups (something like $10 a mask), clearly hoping to price gouge and take advantage of a national emergency.Alcohol sales was already at an all time high during the lock down, so one must conclude that the price gouging was done purely out of greed. I cannot in good conscience continue to support this establishment, and will be taking my business elsewhere.

While waiting for my order i walked into albert's and oh what a pleasant surprise it was! He has an amazing curated selection of beers and wines that kept me looking around for a long while. It's a beautiful deceptively hidden little store!

Joshua Gerber: The wine selection, while small, is carefully curated. The beers are extremely varied and interesting. There is a huge variety that you'll find here that you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else.

Russell Elmes: This rating is based purely off of the fact that it easily has the best craft beer selection in the area. The prices here are not the best, but the selection is. They import beers from all over the country and even all over the world. They have a focus on some local brewers but offer selections from Europe, South America, Japan, etc. Most of the larger bottles are not refrigerated, but they do have a decent selection of 6-packs that come cold. Other than beer they do have a fair selection of wines and small selection of groceries, these sections wouldn't get a 5 star though.

Khera Douglass: You should know about wines if you go to this store. I'm not a big wine person but I was buying some for dinner with friends. I asked about Bourbon Barrel, aged Zinfandel, and the short woman with glasses, and two buns said we don't carry that. I had to interrupt her conversation with the other clerk to ask the question. I then had to ask where the Zinfandels were. She pointed them out and went back to her conversation... I would have loved for someone to ask me what I was looking for and help me find it. But, maybe the clerks are just there to take money and aren't knowledgeable about wine.

Thomas Vaccaro: Has more or less the bare essentials, with a few important products missing. One of the more expensive liquor stores in the neighborhood. The owner is unhelpful, too; and in some cases they have been rude to people I know in town. Plenty of options elsewhere.

On a rainy day, I went there to buy some wine but they refused to sell because I wasn't carrying my passport -- of course, I always carry the most important document I have when I go buy wine, especially in the occasion of a storm.When a friend (28yo) tried to purchase they also refused because the person saw him talking to me.Impressive the amount of red tape we face and the treatment we get.

Bharath Palle: This is an exceptional store, both in terms of its product offerings as well as the service. Sanjay is very friendly: whether you are looking for a cold soda, some ice cream, or frozen foods for a late night snack, he always provides helpful suggestions about the different products. This is helpful because the store carries a wide range of selections. A lot of thought has also gone into arranging the store: there is even toilet paper, milk, and miscellaneous household items to be purchased in cases of an emergency, which is again very useful since Cambridge stores tend to shut down quite early. All in all, I would highly recommend this store.

He also can help to recommend products you might like based on previous purchases. It's like having your own personal concierge service within the confines of a convenience store. 10/10. Siddharth Raju: Since I moved to the neighborhood last year, Norton's has been my go-to spot for all my alcohol needs. They've got a respectable craft beer selection, especially for a store of their size; I've been able to find pretty niche stuff from the west coast that I don't see in most other places. The owners are super friendly and seem to get along with regular customers. And they do tastings with local wine sellers on Saturdays (maybe Fridays too) which is great for expanding your horizons and supporting locals! Some of the beers are a little pricier than I would expect ( $13 for a 4-pack from Night Shift) but generally you can get 6-packs of classics like Fat Tire and 90-minute for under $12. Overall, prices are very reasonable, especially given that they have a super convenient location right on Mass Ave and their own private parking lot in a fairly dense business area.I think the previous ownership was perhaps not the greatest (it was before I moved so I can't personally comment) which is why you may see some less than positive reviews on reviews prior to 2019. The new owners, however, are fantastic and I wish them continued success in the coming years.

It's more boutique. They have a great collection of very select stuff in almost all sections. A great variety of beer and wines. Even their cheaper wine selections are carefully picked and are excellent.They even carry a small but good selection of cheese, dry meat, crackers etc.It is always a pleasant experience being there and they are very helpful.Bottom line, they really care about what they sell and they really care about their customers.
