Vivo Apartment Homes: what do users think?
Milkyas Mogessie: Recently started living in this amazing place. Felt so welcomed, it is so neat and so peaceful. My favorite parts are the gym and the rooftop. Look forward to many more beautiful years to come.
Keefe Janke: I’ve been at Vivo for around 5 months now and it’s been a great experience. The facilities are always clean and the apartment units are beautiful. you cannot beat the area as it’s in the heart of east Cambridge, 10 minute walk from Kendall Sq T Station. If there’s ever an issue, the maintenance team is normally very fast to respond and will do anything to help you out (I had my AC unit replaced within a day of reporting it out of order). The leasing office people are great too, Tyler and Lauren are always trying to help.My favorite thing outside of having a gorgeous studio is the gym and rooftop area. I visit the gym almost every day and whenever I want to have friends over we go up to the roof. Here’s a photo of a sunset I saw from up there! Really enjoying my stay here so far.
alireza saeidi: I have been living in this beautiful place for the last 6 months. I am super comfortable and satisfied by everything here. It takes usually not more than a few hours to receive necessary service after online service request. The location is amazing in terms of having the immediate access to restaurants, gyms and parks and more importantly beautifuk Charles river. The facilities are really great to use specially gym which is equipped and not crowded at all.The building is always clean and peaceful. I recommend this place strongly to everybody.
Joshua Gershlak: I have enjoyed my time at Vivo so far. The building and location cannot be beat.
Song Zhang: Great apartments! Quite new and clean building with great amenities! Great managers to make the move in quite smooth!
Marisol Sepulveda: Can't beat location, staff is friendly and maintenance/building issues are addressed in a relatively timely fashion. This is my second time living here, and I'm satisfied with my choice.Only gripe is that parking is more expensive than neighborhood prices- was told that this is due to lack of availability but garage is never more than 1/3 full.Would overall recommend Vivo regardless!
Gonzalo “Monada” Anyosa: Pretty Nice. Kinda expensive but worth it if you stay in Kendall Square.
P Nguyen: Absolutely stellar place to live+ Great location+ Modern units+ Great amenities -- fitness center, rooftop deck + grills, Luxor package management, bike room, and more+ Friendly, responsive management team / service team+ Garage parking available for $250 per month+ Nest thermostat- My AC unit constantly broke- I lived in a studio, so all equipment came mini-sized (as specified up front), no microwave OOTB
Sylvie Verkaaik: I have lived at Vivo Apartment homes for three months now, and it has exceeded all my expectations so far. The building upkeep is great, with a friendly and attentive staff. I had two minor service requests which were attended to right away and followed up with in a timely manner . My apartment is beautiful and has laundry in the unit and has great window views. The roof deck is very nice and it made for great firework views on July 4th! We are looking forward to the completion of the gym and community room.It is a truly wonderful neighborhood to live in as there are so many activities to do within walking distance such as renting a kayak on the Charles River, renting a Hubway bike to make your way around town, the Science Museum and the Galleria Mall, to name a few. The apartment is within a short walk to the Red line and Green line, as well a few bus routes. We truly love the living experience at Vivo apartments!
Jennifer Sullivan: I am so happy living in Vivo. My apartment is modern clean and bright. The staff have always been responsive and pleasant to deal with. Any minor issues ( eg. elevator being serviced etc) are communicated promptly and resolved quickly. I can't wait until the amenities such as gym, retail space and rooftop are ready. Neighbors are very friendly because we're all so happy to be at Vivo!
Bryan Barkley: My family loves living in Vivo Apartments. The common areas are spotless, the apartments are gorgeous, and the staff is friendly and prompt. The location of Vivo couldn't be better. We are looking forward to the use of the on site gym and the roof top deck.
Olivia D'Ambrosio: I love living here. My unit is gorgeous and the maintenance / management teams are responsive, friendly, and professional. Once the building is complete with retail, a gym, and a roof deck, it will truly be my favorite place I've ever lived.

Lofts at Kendall Square Apartments: what do users think?
Rishav Anand: Writing this review 6 months into my lease -The apartment complex and the neighborhood is great, with easy access to grocery stores, parks, MBTA (red and green lines) and Charles river. Great amenities well complemented by a highly efficient management team (Geoffrey, Cole and Anthony). All maintenance requests are taken care ASAP, and the management team makes sure to send regular updates to keep you in the loop.Huge shoutout to Cole Bosio, who has been super helpful right from day 1.
Elizabeth Grice: Interesting, one-of-a-kind building with a welcoming + helpful management team. After looking in Boston and Cambridge, we fell in love with the Lofts at Kendall Square. Our leasing agent, Cole, was immensely patient and accommodating during our search process. He listened to our needs and was a true partner in helping us find our home--indulging my many questions and proactively sharing updates on specific units we were interested in. Overall, an immensely enjoyable and seamless process!
Eileen Yung: I have been apartment searching for the past two months, and finally, a friend recommended I check out Kendall Lofts. So glad I did. Within an hour of my scheduling a virtual tour, Cole reached out. He bent over backwards to answer every question I had over the next few days, whether I called or emailed, and was immensely helpful throughout the (EASY) application process. I've rented apartments in most cities on the east coast, and Cole's superior level of professionalism and responsiveness with every interaction speaks volumes about Kendall Lofts, and directly contributed to our decision to sign a lease with them. Also, it doesn't hurt that the apartments are beautifully constructed, are centrally located in a great part of Cambridge, and that as a tenant, you have access to a rooftop deck and their fitness center.
AJ Bilyeu: We loved the place but unfortunately, had a really terrible experience with Geoff, the leasing manager, while trying to tour the unit. He didn’t show up for the appointment until the janitor called to let him know. When Geoff arrived, he was incredibly off-putting and straight-up rude to my girlfriend and her mom. He didn’t seem at all interested or happy to be showing the unit to them. For some reason could not even be bothered to have a civil and friendly conversation as he was touring them around and was trying to rush them through the tour. Was extremely cold giving one-word answers. This was off-putting enough for us to remove the reservation we had on a 2 bedroom unit. We’ve seen some nice apartments in nearby buildings that are more expensive, but worth not dealing with those types of personalities in the building management.
Carly Smith: Posting an update on my last review which Kendall Square Lofts replied to saying they would address my requests.I still have no reliable source of heat or hot water in my unit. I have received no form of compensation for the past fourth months of rent I’ve paid while this issue has persisted. Management continues to minimize my concerns and delay addressing my requests for compensation.I’ve had to involve the city of Cambridge to have inspections completed and have sought legal advice to formally defend my tenant rights.I feel taken advantage of my building and staff of Kendall Square Lofts.Additionally, we had a HUGE leak and flood on the second and first floor of the building this past weekend. Multiple residents were displaced into hotel rooms for multiple days. There are massive amounts of electrical and plumbing damage. The building seem very unsafe. Many tenants have requested to break leases early and move out over concerns for their own safety and the lack of oversight my building management. For anyone touring or considering living here, I sincerely recommend looking elsewhere.
Diego Gonzalez: My family and I enjoyed our time living in this apartment. Absolutely gorgeous! The leasing office were always welcoming and happy to assist. Incredible amenities and great location close to the river and the city.
TJ Faddoul: Although I did not end up signing here, Cole and Geoff helped a lot with the leasing process and tours! Also, in a great neighborhood/area
Xavier Ryan: Beautiful unique apartments, superb location, great service (Andrew and Giovanni were super helpful with my last maintenance request).
Mahdi Amachraa: The smoothest leasing process I have experienced so far. The leasing team is great and Christopher has been very helpful. And thank you for the complimentary MBTA card.
Umar Albalwi: Great place to stayWonderfull neighborhoodvery helpful and supportive staff Mr. Cole and Mr. Christopher
M L: I didn't end up leasing an apartment here, but I had a good experience with the leasing team - in particular, Cole was very responsive via email, professional, and helpful throughout the whole process. I needed a place to move into in under a week, and he worked over the weekend to set up a leasing agreement within 3 days of my initial contact with this place, which was on a Sunday.
Hannah Waxman: My husband and I toured an apartment at the Lofts at Kendall Square on Saturday, and these units are absolutely GORGEOUS. Incredible and long list of amenities, plus a great location. Our tour guide and leasing consultant, Cole Bosio, was super warm and welcoming and made us feel instantly at home in this gorgeous new building. I can't recommend Cole or these apartments enough. Do yourself a favor if you're on the fence and go check it out!!
Cuau Treviño: The leasing consultant who helped and guided us through the application process did a wonderful job in answering all of our questions and concerns. Cole Bosio is truly a great professional to work with. Looking forward to being part of this community soon!
Sirui Li: We had a terrible experience with the renewal process after we lived in lofts at Kendall square for a year, and it seems very clear that the renewal team is tricking us to rip us off. Before the 60 day notice, the renewal team (Alaina) gives us a price which is already very high, but acceptable, so we are asking if there’s room to bring it down lower. Alana was saying she will work on it and ask us to work with the management team to first remove the vacant tenant on our lease. So we went back to the management team, who took so long to remove the vacate tenant, and did not call/email/in any form contact us that they already remove the tenant. The leasing team, on the other hand, although they can see when the tenant is removed, never followed back up with us either, just to let us wait till the 60 day notice timeframe is over, and suddenly told us a even higher price than what they claim “will work on” before, after we call them back in ourselves. At this point we have no choice but to sign the new extraordinary high lease because the 60 day vacate time has passed, and it’s just so frustrating to us that we need to call back and forth with the renewal and management team (two different teams, hmmm) ourselves so many time to get an answer / move the process forward, and eventually be ripped off by the two teams because we trusted that they will work on the renewal offer so we did not submit the 60 vacant notice. It is totally the management and renewal team’s fault to not inform us whether they have done what they should do (e.g. remove the vacant tenant, generate the renewal lease first). What they did is just sit there and wait until the price is high :(---------------------------------------------------Update May 25:Despite their response "our Community Manager will contact you directly", no one from their office tried to contact us.
brian glynn: Beautiful property with great amenity spaces. Toured with Cole who was very informative but also made it personalized. Did not move to the area unfortunately but highly recommended.
Simon Fang: The Lofts are pretty amazing, especially the high ceilings. The team at the leasing office were super helpful (shoutout to Cole!)
Gavin Coleman: Great amenities, leasing team and literally next to the brand new park that just got built! Lofts at Kendall square is second to none
Shai S: The lofts are nice. I went to visit them in Nov. I loved the place. Unfortunately I could not move until the end of December. I was informed that if I give my $1000 for a deposit to hold the apartment. They said they can't promise the current rent price or that the apartment will still be available. So I was kind of disappointed 😥. The place was perfect for us. But that's the rules I guess. I tried to get the manager to call me so maybe we can work something out. But no one called and I also emailed the leasing office multiple times. So after a few weeks of trying I gave up. The day I would have been moving in guess what the apartment is still on the market. For only 60 dollars more than it was in Nov. I don't know if they were holding out hoping they would get more or what. But it was kind of sad that they expect everyone to be able to get up and move in a few days. Some people have to give 30 days notice to their landlords. But I guess it was not meant for us to live there. I don't want to assume it was something else other then policy or money but you start to wonder.
Fanny Zhang: Updating my comment (was 3 star). We left our Apt one and a half month earlier. We have been confirming the final balance and details with the community office since then. However, they are slow and clearly not familiar with the details. Early this week, we confirmed with email that we paid the last month’s prorated rent and that we should be able to get the full deposit back. However, we just got the check back with the paid rent deducted from the deposit. This company and the team is super unprofessional. We are very disappointed that our lease ended in this way. Also, be careful if you are considering the Equity Residential company’s apartments in Boston. One of my friends met with the same problem when moving out in another Apt owned by them.
Fanny Zzz: After living here for 2 yrs, I would not conclude my stay here as satisfied. Overall, the community is pretty clean but the laundry room is far way from building 3. The community team is kind in personality but the communication is generally inefficient and slow. Many times they don't answer your call (no one is there at office time) and you need to catch them in the office to get response and follow up with them again and again, e.g., on construction site noise, add a building sign on the 3rd street, ant control, move-out steps, etc. This is a pain for young professionals. But I do want to state that the maintenance team is nice but they are pretty busy around.

The Holmes Building: what do users think?
Megan T: We’ve lived here for 2 years in a 2B2B and wish to provide some objective reviews:Pros- Location is unbeatable, right outside the red line central T station, 30 seconds walk to the T. Most people here are MIT/Harvard students/researchers, some families- Tons of nearby restaurants, walkable to Hmart, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, living without a car is very convenient- Parking spot avail for $250/month, very spacious- Everything works super well in the apartment, maintenance is fast when needed but we have rarely needed to fix anything- Amazingly kind reception people and never lost any packages. They keep it for you and always greet :)- Newly renovated lobby and walkways is nice- Reasonable rent increases ($50 for first year, $110 for second year) in my experience but every apartment is different- We had a corner apartment with nice windows and sunlightCons- Amenities functional. The gym is small but has the basic equipment. Planet fitness and VIM are right opposite the apartment which is nice. They are renovating the common lounge now so not sure what it’ll be like after.- In my time here, Pilar has been the property manager but she’s since left. It’s sometimes hard to reach the property manager but totally fine over email- Located next to Mass Ave and the square, so can be noisy at night on the weekends/summer depending on where the apartment faces. I’ve found it to be fine and the location/price compensated for that
Chris McCulloh: We made multiple attempts to contact Pilar to inquire about availability, and neither she nor anybody else ever responded to us at all. Phone calls and e-mails from different addresses, nothing. If this is how the property property handles things pre-sale, then the reviews below saying they're terribly unresponsive seem quite legit.
Mia Chin Lee: This place used to really be great but the new property manager is making it insufferable. I have a group of friends in the building and we all without fail always hear her yelling at the workers, treating them badly, and making them do her work for her. It’s embarrassing to have guests wait in the lobby while she puts her own workers down.EDIT: I've lived here with continuous rent increases yearly. And now management raised rent over $500 overnight.
Alejandro MoVi: I like this building aparments Is very easy for The people live in Cambridge

The new stuff is welcoming, kind and helpful, always ready to help when there is an issue. This reflects the management style of Kaitlyn. Keep the good work.

Jordanna Monteiro: John was prompt and incredibly fast; he turned my heat and hot water back on in minutes (in 0 degree weather, I was super grateful).
Brian Young: John who helped with the apartment maintenance was super friendly and professional!
Meaghan Fahey: Now that I have lived here for 2+ years, I wanted to write an updated review.I just want to start by saying, my fiance and I have really enjoyed living at Windsor Cambridgepark, and it has been our home for 2+ years. We truly do feel "at home" living here.  I am going to highlight some honest pros and cons below to hopefully help anyone that is considering moving here.CONS:1. The amenity spaces are great and I love all of the outdoor space.  However, I will mention that the technology that is offered in these amenity spaces is horrible.  We cannot change the channel on any of the TV's, the common-area Wi-Fi is non-usable (which is not ideal for working from home and wanting to use any of the amenity areas to work), there is a large fee to reserve the clubhouse - something like $150 per hour, and on top of that you have to pay a "security deposit". I also want to note that we have mentioned the horrible Wi-Fi on multiple occasions to the office staff and unfortunately, to this day, nothing has been done about it.2. The parking situation is not ideal (to say the least).  You pay an arm and a leg to park in their garage that is infested with birds and your car gets ruined due to all of the bird poop, feathers, and whatever else falls all over your car.  We have mentioned this to the office team multiple times with absolutely no concern or follow up from them. Images attached for reference...3. Our unit could definitely use some upgrades. The appliances are old, the shower door is rusting, granite is stained. Also, the windows/walls in our unit are very thin and we can hear everything, even full conversations happening outside (we face the building entry), as well as all of the construction noises going on in the early morning hours (thank goodness for white noise machines!).4. Preventative maintenance is lacking.  In the 2+ years we have lived here, we have had one email about maintenance entering our unit to do preventative maintenance, and it was to change a battery. The building windows have never been cleaned since we have lived here in 2+ years.5. Driving anywhere from this location is absolutely the worst.  If you commute to work, I would recommend doing a trial commute during peak hours because you must have some serious patience to deal with this traffic.  On top of regular traffic - construction is CONSTANT here and there are always big trucks, loud noises, lane or full road closures.  So, commuters that drive, BEWARE.6. There is not really much within walking distance.  The location is great if you are into nature and using the bike path. However, if you are looking for restaurants, bars, things to do -- this area is very much lagging.PROS:1. The maintenance team is great, I really cannot say enough about these guys.  Whenever you submit a work order, they usually get to it the same day. They are always so pleasant and friendly.2. This building and area in general are very dog-friendly.  We love the dog-wash room at Windsor.  We use it weekly.  We also love that the bike room functions as a dog-play area.  Which is nice since there is no dog park as part of this building. There are also a few dog parks close by.3. The bike storage room is top-notch. Each bike has a separate "slot" (for lack of a better word) to slide your bike on to, while a lot of the other buildings in this area just have those shared poles that you lock your bike to.4. The layout of the "M" Floor-plan is perfect. We chose this community because of this floorplan, it feels like you are living in a house. I really love the built-in desk and the very large walk-in closet, along with the spa tub. The high ceilings really do make a huge difference as well.5. The office team does a great job with doing resident events. There is always something going on during the month, which makes it easy to meet new people and socialize.6. Also a shout-out to the cleaning crew - they work so hard to keep this building clean and it is very much appreciated!I hope this review is helpful to anyone looking to live at this community :)
Matt G: Wes was excellent for helping with maintenance issues. Timely, very knowledgeable and professional
W Du: Come to check the issue and install a new disposal for my kitchen quickly and professionally.

Third Square Apartments: what do users think?
Thee Noble Surfer: The leasing office and maintenance staff are very friendly, professional and reliable. They really make Third Square Apartments a wonderful place to live and visit!Mike G-
Juan Ramirez: Don't expect emergency maintenance issues to be addressed. I have called emergency maintenance because I have no heat in my unit. I called multiple times and left messages with the dispatcher. Finally, the concierge was able to reach the emergency maintenance person on call but was told said person cannot come in. It is not the first time this has happened either. So my question to the property is, what is your definition of emergency maintenance and what emergency maintenance do you actually provide? Mind you, this is not a cheap property. They just could not care less about tenants once a lease is signed. I agree with the other reviews that the concierge staff is generally good.
Farbod Farshidian: The team was very swift in every aspect of the renting process. I had a great experience with them!
Viraj Shah: Best place I've ever lived. Clean, quiet, friendly and respectful tenants. Maintenance staff is nice. They hold community events. Really just an all around awesome experience. Reach out to Julia or Stephen. They really care!
Alex Pankhurst: Julia and co were incredibly kinda and beyond helpful during the moving process. Can't thank everyone enough!
Hirut Solomon: Third SQ apt is the best place to live. What makes this place the best is all team members who work here, like Kyle ( concierge service manager). he goes above and beyond. Always smiling and brings joy to residents. Thank you Kyle, keep up the good work.
Deborah Wooldridge: Love our place especially the balcony! The staff that works the entrance and our mail are the best. They know everyone buy name and apt no. It’s nice to have the dog run as well. The maintenance staff very good and responsive about any issues. The gym is awesome with 2 Peloton bikes too!
mansour el tayeb: Very professional and kind
Lori Hightower: I’ve lived here since 2019 and the staff here are thee best ever! I cannot say enough good things about them. Wonderful, caring people. Beautiful complex. Maintenance worker” LENNY” is the greatest! He goes above and beyond when he has to fix something in your apartment. Great guy too!! Also front desk gentleman are all absolutely amazing!!! I adore them all! Kyle is one of a kind and you will be grateful to come home everyday greeted by him. And leasing officers Amanda and Stephen are amongst two of the kindest people I’ve met. They are all so wonderful I can’t say enough!!!! God bless you guys you’ve changed my life for the better!❤️
Alp Rodopman: Great experience! Kyle and the team are always very helpful 😀
X W: Great apartment! Very friendly and responsive staffs, convenient location, and great floor plan.
Margo Howard: We’ve enjoyed staying there. One of the Concierge staff, Mustafa, is a gem. Nothing is too much trouble, and he thinks nothing of going out of his way to help. In my experience this is unusual, and much appreciated. Were I management, I would name him “Employee of the Year.”
Laurie Robinson: We lived at Third Square for a total of 3 years. It is an excellent location, building is clean, and residents are quiet. I think for the monthly rental rates, upgrades are in order of kitchens, bathrooms, and flooring. Kyle at the front desk is beyond helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. Most tenants stay about 1.5 years to 2, mainly because of the high price tag of rents in Kendall Square.
Kristina Strand: Incredibly professional staff, they really care.
Misha Nathani: What an absolutely fantastic building to live in! The amenities are superb and the staff is very kind and helpful. Our moving in process was made seamless. Julia from the leasing office and Kyle- the most popular person in the building, are extremely quick with their responses.
Mina Huh: Recently moved in, and so far its been great! Amanda C was super responsive while I was trying to secure an apartment on short notice, and Kyle C at the front desk was extremely helpful with getting me moved-in. Maintenance was super quick too!
Jeremy Soares: Great experience with the staff at Third Square. Worked directly with leasing consultant Julia C. during my apartment search. From the start Julia was extremely welcoming, very responsive and generally went above and beyond to help find an apartment that was a good fit -- would highly recommend. The building itself is in a nice, quiet and convenient location in Kendall Sq / Cambridge -- a few minutes' walk to the MBTA Red Line (subway), which gets you quick access into the city. Also standard amenities: gym, concierge, (indoor) pool, conference rooms, etc.
Scott Gaab: Outstanding staffing, great location, apartment and facilities extremely clean, and an all-around great experience moving in! Kudos to Amanda, Kyle and team for a job well done!
John Veytsman: Lenny is absolutely one of the best aspects of living here!
Semirete Esheta: 3rd square apartment is the best place to live ever!! I have been moved since 2009 as very young age with fears. I find a dream place to live and satisfied with everything since then. I was alone when I moved and growing my family here beautifully, very safe to raise the kids and convenience for everything. you will gain so much comfort ,fun and satisfactions. you have always somebody looking after you for everyone safety to makesure no fear around !! you get everything you need for your comfort in .it's a diversity Residencial, "which is unique about"everybody you meet in the whole way, in theelevators, play yards, gym, garage etc are so kind, respectful and friendly. after long day life duites work & school ,come home is reall and you feel truly sweet home .The team members each department are so approachable, kind and helpful, lease office, Steven, Amanda front desk kayle ,Lauretta Mestofa, Amir and meantnace Lanny, those people's made 3 rd sq wonderful, etc ,so kind, wonderfull and helpful staff ,work hard make your life easier. I would be more proud with everything third square. i couldn't list all about 3rd square apartment greatness on this, but I highly recommend this place to check, who gets the apportynity to join you won't upset with your decisions!!! this fact !!👍Thank you 3rd sq management & team for everything!! looking forward many years to live at 3sq!Bestsemi
Coco Lin: Planning an out-of-state- move can be hectic, but the leasing team made the transition smooth and stress-free. Amanda really went out of her way to help me secure the ideal apartment. Can't wait to move!

Flats on First Apartments: what do users think?
Douglas Hollins: The apartments are modern and well-designed, if a bit small and short on storage space, and the appliances are way nicer than what you'd find in a normal apartment building in Boston. However, there is absolutely no insulation between floors. You will hear every step your upstairs neighbor takes, and each one will sound like a 20-lb weight being dropped on the floor. It's a shame because the building is otherwise very peaceful, and the neighborhood is really a nice place to live.Update: After four months of living here, I have to take off a star due to issues with the building services and the finishings in the unit. Just too many problems for what this place charges in rent.As far as the building goes:1) There's not a package room as is advertised on the website, and the package lockers have been down since late September, with no indication as to when they will be fixed. The building management blames the vendor, but they also haven't found any other solution to the problem. They just scatter everyone's packages all over the floor of the mail area, unsecured, and don't send any notifications when you receive something.2) The after-hours maintenance staff isn't responsive. There's not a number to call if you have an after-hours maintenance issue; you just have to submit a request through the resident app and hope someone sees it. I had a lock-out issue once, and, after waiting a half-hour for a maintenance person to arrive and then another 40 minutes for the person to try to unlock my door, I finally just went and stayed in a hotel for the night. As far as the units, the main window in my apartment is without window treatment of any kind. Management said something about them either ordering or receiving the wrong kind of blinds for that window and then told me I could provide the window treatment on my own. Not OK for what this place charges.Update #2: I can now echo one of the other reviews here. I've had packages go missing as well. Contrary to what the website says, there is no "24-hour package room". Management just lets packages be scattered all over the floors by the mailboxes, unsecured and unorganized. Not even a basic level of competence on display here.
Misha Fop: The apartments are spacious and bright and most come with a balcony. The location is amazing - close to Charles River and it’s very walkable with a lot of public transport. However, there is an issue with people smoking indoors although it’s supposed to be a smoke free building. The smell comes into our apartment and it’s been a constant frustration since moving in last July.
Hailey Vincent: Maintenance staff are friendly and responsive. office staff are great and super attentive. However, there were and still are many issues upon move in. It seemed like there was no final walkthrough of the apartment prior to renting it out. Walls are thin so noise can be an issue. Perhaps with better checks in place and more insulation this place would be great.Update: after living here for 7ish months it is way overpriced for what you get. Not only are the walls thin, the doors don’t close because of misalignment. We keep finding more and more things that are broken/poorly put together despite this being a brand new complex. Upon move in our heating/AC was broken and blowing out both hot and cold air which drove our electric bill up. This took awhile to fix and no resolution was made by leasing department. Don’t get me started on the package situation, I have had multiple packages which have gone missing due to the poor mailroom setup. We paid for the package locker which was broken from move in til recently the amount of space in locker is not equivalent to the amount of people who live here so locker is not utilized despite the payment made.
Jimmy Sui: Apartment facilities are all pretty nice and new but the noise isolation is pretty bad I can constantly hear running water showering stomping from the people upstairs
Sohayb AB: Prices is just unexplained ! The monthly rent for studio starting at $3000 !!!!!!!!

Linea Cambridge Apartments: what do users think?
Zhanat Zhapparov: We love the apt, neighborhood, people, location, everything but admins like Amarah. We needed to move to a new apr abruptly. Contract early termination is usually 2 months' rent however, after following her advise, we left on Aug 18, 2022 we ended up paying almost 4 months till Dec 1, 2022. Unless you pay, Amarah blackmailed us to send to a collection instead of giving a rational explanation. To some extent, I blame myself for listening peope like her to follow "Ńext Occupant policy." We would be better off if we paid 2 month's early termination fee.*Maintenance guys like Orlando are great. Thanks, Orlando for all your services.
S V: Arguably the best rental in North Cambridge. We lived for 6 years in a 2 bedroom ground floor unit which had an attached patio. Location of the unit and the unit itself was almost perfect. We throughly enjoyed our stay and if not for a move due to job relocation, we would have continued to lease at Linea. Many thanks to the maintenance team at Linea, especially Orlando and Weberson who responded to any and all maintenance requests quickly and efficiently. Made living at Linea a breeze. Office staff was also cordial and professional in all our interactions.Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable stay and we will totally miss living in Linea Cambridge.
Lillian Marie: We have lived here for almost exactly 1 year and are renewing with our current apartment. Expected rent to go up, as it has all over the city, but the increase was not as bad as anticipated. The price is exactly what you would expect from a place with the convenience of being between two T stops.I have had only positive interactions with staff--Orlando (maintenance) is super communicative and fixed our broken dishwasher as quick as he could (which is saying something, given the supply chain issues this year). Inesita (leasing consultant) is a gem and always a pleasure to chat with. And other staff who handle everything from mail to decor to cleaning are always welcoming and friendly.Contrary to some of the other reviews, we’ve had really good sound-proofing, but I’m sure it also depends on which unit you have/how close you might be to families with kiddos. (We’re between floors and experience minimal noise from upstairs). It’s been very nice interacting with families and dogs in the common areas/outside occasionally. In general, the building manager addresses apartment-wide concerns (parking, repairs, incidents, etc.) reasonably quickly. So yeah, it’s a really nice apartment building in Cambridge. I’d definitely classify that as a luxury!
Aaron Rothbard: Lived here for 2 years out of necessity to be close to Harvard law……….. worst 2 years imaginable. This place is a poorly managed dump. If you call to try to fix anything you will be accused, belittled, and interrupted. Common area are swarmed by kids with parents who don’t even care. Below are pictures of how they leave the common area . Gym is amongst the grossest I have seen. Additionally me and my roommates and even some of our guests have left reviews and all have been deleted. For your own sanity and pocket stay clear of this place or any managed by nordblom
Hannah Borchik: We are really happy in Linea Cambridge! The property manager and maintenance manager are great and very responsive. We like the sense of community and the closeness to the T and walking trail.
James Quinn: I would like to thank the leasing agent Emily Miller sooo much for all her help. My girlfriend and I just moved into Linea from out of state and we couldn't be happier! Emily took the time to hold our hands through the process and answer all of our questions. She made a confusing and stressful situation a breeze. Thanks, Emily!!!
Rags Gupta: We moved in about a week ago and are very happy with the decision to move into Linea. We love how calm the building is with trees and lawn viewable through our windows while being right on the Linear Park for easy access to Davis Sq and Alewife. The communal space is great with residents using the 2 BBQs and outdoor seating on summer evenings like this. It feels familial and like a nice community. We were worried about noise based on the other review but it hasn't been an issue. Yes you can hear the odd steps from time to time from our neighbor but nothing like what the other person described. Lastly, I can't say enough good things about the building management and staff, especially the manager and handyman. They've been nothing but friendly, professional and super-responsive to our needs.
Sad But True: Sadly, I agree with everything that Ugly Cakes said. The noise issue is exactly as described and VERY real.
Mary Campos: I have been so pleased with my experience at Linea Cambridge! From the first day I met the property manager, she has been professional, organized and accommodating. She made our moving transition so simple. Since moving in, we have loved the building, the neighbors, the employees on site and the outdoor space. We also love the neighborhood - close to everything yet extremely quiet and green. The bike path is a great convenience, too. So glad to have found this place to call home.
Ugly Cakes: My husband and I had a TERRIBLEexperience with this place.1) the Property Manager is THE WORST!! When you bring an issue to her she will blow you off and hope you go away. When you don't she will insinuate that you're crazy and to get over it. When you don't she will say you're just being sensitive because you're new parents and must not be getting any sleep. She made us feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable after we started bringing issues to her attention to the point where we did not even feel comfortable walking past her office or through the building as she gave us a "go to hell look" every time.2) THE NOISE! I can't state this one enough. When I tell you that it sounded like a stampede above you anytime someone walked across the floor I am not exaggerating. The walls would shake, the fixtures would rattle, and you felt like Godzilla was walking around up there.the staff ultimately challenged us to a noise test because they assured us there was sound proofing and that there was NO sound problem. 2 seconds into the test and the Regional Manager's face said it all. To top it all off the structural engineer she brought with her to the test even verified there was no sound proofing.3) This is a LUXURY building. Well I didn't know that a fitness center that was only open from 6 am to 11 pm and a dog wash constituted a luxury building.I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company in my life and thank the heavens every day that we got out early. There are much better communities out there in much better locations so look at those instead - trust me, you won't regret it but you will regret renting here.

Axiom Apartment Homes: what do users think?
Troy H: The apartments are affordable for the area. The street is relatively quiet outside of an building being renovated. The location is close to the red and green line with dining and a grocery store not too far away.
Kyle Diederichsen: The apartment itself is lovely, exactly as the pictures show. Water pressure is amazing, having laundry is awesome, and most of the place is well designed (albeit with a few minor complaints about kitchen cabinet pinch points). The windows are thick enough to block most noise outside and its really nice to have new everything. The 1 bedrooms are small, but with efficient furniture it fits two of us very easily. The management is extremely responsive and friendly, and my only service request so far was dealt with fabulously. My only big complaint is the area of the apartment is decidedly industrial, so if you open the window it is noisy, even aside from the construction across the street. And worse the big pharma buildings nearby keep their lights on all night, its amazingly bright. Some decent curtains fixes that problem though. Overall a great place to live, and for moving cross country the leasing process was really nice.Edit: I have to lower my rating after several months, mainly as a result of the tofu factory next door which has an immensely loud truck stop by around 6:30-7:30 every other day. If you are an early riser this building could be fine, but this delivery truck is infuriating.Edit Edit: I left Axiom in November after 3 years (moving cross country for a job), and now that I’ve gone through finding another apartment and reminding myself how nice Axiom was- I have to come back and give it 5 stars again. The building is just so well designed- entrance doors wide enough to easily fit things, two elevators, central heat and air that you can control from your phone, locks that don’t require a key, laundry that has a totally separate door, extra closets, sinks with extending faucets, little lights in the hallways that make it feel nicer than many other places. I could go on- we really enjoyed our time at Axiom, and our noise issues were substantially less on the north side in our second unit. That tofu truck really does suck.My one complaint to leave is that the short term renewal rent was obscenely expensive, though admittedly we couldn’t find any cheaper option.
YoungJin Jo: The Axiom apartment provide us with convenient room and facilities such as lounge and fitness center, accompanied by peaceful and calm atmosphere. It is also placed at nice location so that we can easily utilize public transportation and approach to institutes (MIT, Harvard etc.).
Robert DiPietro: I would not recommend living at Axiom. For the price, you can find locations with better amenities, better upkeep, and much less day-to-day hassle. The good: Lauren, one of the administrative staff, is really kind and helpful. And the location is great; it's very close to the Charles river. The bad: Tenants are regularly subject to monthly hassles, subpar upkeep, repeatedly being ignored by management, and daily loud noise outside starting at 7am.Details:Staff: Lauren is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately though, many matters need to be handled through Tyler, who regularly ignores emails. I have sent Tyler emails on 4/14/21, 5/28/21, 7/3/21, 7/5/21, 7/11/21, 7/13/21, 7/25/21, 8/10/21, and 9/2/21. Tyler replied on 7/5/21 and 7/14/21.Location: The location is great – close to Kendall Square, and very close to what I consider the most beautiful portion of the Charles River.Amenities: If you visit, ask to see the gym. It is representative of our apartment: cheap and unmaintained. Management chooses short-term cost savings over long-term quality, with "star trac" equipment and squeaky treadmills due to poor maintenance. Also, take a look at the FITNESS ON DEMAND screen. It has been unlicensed for months, burning energy for no reason (the attached picture is from 9/4/2021).Unexpected fees: Other reviews mentioned unreasonable Luxer One fees, and management responded with a claim that Luxer One is a state-of-the-art utility that exists for the tenant's benefit. This is not true. I have lived in multiple luxury apartments with Luxer One, and every one except Axiom has paid the Luxer One fee for the tenant. It is more convenient for the building than for tenants.Hassle: Since moving in, our water and sewerage charge has been 10x (yes, 10 times!) what we have previously been charged, with no changes in daily activities (we are a couple with no kids). I alerted Tyler about this on 7/3/21 via email and also in person, along with a screenshot of false water activity while we were on vacation, and today (10/7/21) the issue has still not been resolved. Further, despite knowing about this, Axiom blocks our ability to pay rent due to "unpaid amounts" (water and sewerage), so every month we need to find someone in person to override system behavior, just so that we can pay our rent.Noise: Every morning, at 7am or before, a large dumpster pulls up right outside our window (apartments 201, 203, 301, 303, 401, 403, etc.) to shake large bins with tofu waste from the tofu factory next store. This is extremely loud. Picture attached. Further, again because of shoddy maintenance, fire alarms have gone off regularly, often during workdays and often for long periods. This is typically because of system configuration (e.g., maintenance being done on elevators) rather than actual smoke.
Shana Fielding: Axiom is overall a great place to live. The apartments are beautiful, common areas are always clean, and management (Tyler and Christine) are always helpful. The maintenance crew (Richard and Andy) are especially friendly. The courtyard is convenient and feels safe for walking our dog at night. The rent and fees are comparable to other apartments in the area, but the building itself is way nicer than many of the others. The walls are thick and we rarely hear noise from other units. Having 2 elevators in a small building is also extremely useful during COVID, since we rarely need to linger in common areas or bump into other residents.Update: Previously rated 4 stars due to construction across the street. Upgraded to 5 stars since it has wrapped up. There is still a smaller scale construction site across the street that has some noise, but it is much less bothersome.
Karmel Pierre: A little oasis in the City! Town and Country community living, in the heart of Cambridge midpoint Boston! Amazing location! Great community, staff & management! Close to public transportation and major city activity and historical sites within walking distance. Twenty-five to forty-five minutes walk to West End, North End, City Hall, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and Downtown Boston.
CS T: I have been calling Axiom apt home for the last three years. It is a lovely communities with Spacious living and bedroom, modern appliances. Axiom management team introduce a series improvement, such as lobby configuration and implement smart home capability. Having this smart home function, I don’t have to worry about leaving apt keys at home. I have organized 6 BBQ lunches at Axiom common area. We thoroughly enjoyed it and my friends only have good thing to say about this apt- helpful property manager and friendly neighbors. Thank you Axiom
Kaylie Barger: Great experience at Axiom Apartments. The management team goes above and beyond to ensure every inquiry is answered and taken care of in a very timely manner. I moved in without physically visiting Axiom first, and the management team made sure that I had the apartment that fit my needs. Also the apartments have high quality features (e.g. smart thermostats and door locks) and are quiet.
Rebecca Abelman: We lived here for three years. There were some pluses- the location is great and the maintenance staff always would come promptly. However, we had many issues with the building and would never recommend living there. To start, the pricing was outrageous. The floor plans of the one-bedrooms include the mechanical room into the square footage, making the small bedrooms even smaller than advertised. Second, each year the rent would increase by around 7%, even though for two of the years there was construction occurring across the street with loud noises starting at 6:30 am, including Saturday's. As AIMCO owned the building across the street, there was little empathy on this issue. There were hidden costs everywhere, including the package device that it the only way that packages could be received, despite the astronomical rents. Then, when we left, after paying for professional cleaning by Axiom we were charged almost the entire remainder of our security deposit (several hundred dollars) for a small amount of debris left in one of the cabinets. The amenities are middling with a gym that is never updated and interrupted by having frequent people on tours of the building. The front desk staff is occasionally helpful, although I had times when I would email them and would never hear back, so I would have to email them multiple times to get a response (as I usually couldn't speak with them in person as I work during business hours). There is high turnover in this role.Overall, the price was not worth the "convenience" of living there. Hard to recommend living here to anyone especially given there are several great new buildings in the area. The focus there is on new tenants, as there is little investment in the people who already live there.
Mary Salvi: If I go into "details" I'd write a novel with a happy ending. I should have written this review the minute I spoke with Tyler Sylvester, the building manager, this past August. He made a difficult situation calming for me while I was trying to move in. I had that one month to move during this covid-19 virus time: no one could come and help pack etc. My son did help getting boxes setting them up, then had to leave because he has a family & a prior commitment. So, it turns out the boxes were large and I could have fallen in trying to pack "everything" into them, while not filling them would be a stacking disaster (a whole other review of my hired moving company, Poetry Moving Co.). I got this apartment through a program here in Cambridge and this was the 2nd apt shown and I took it right away online. Best choice ever. Of course everyone is doing things from home, though Tyler was working out of the lounge area (made into an "office) on the ground floor here in the building. Finally, we have the paper work done with Tyler, or so we thought, and then we were told there was some form missing, which turns out wasn't overlooked after all if I remember correctly. We had our t's crossed & i's dotted. The evening of the LAST day of my tenancy Tyler calls and says an inspector is coming to inspect the new place!! When Poetry Moving and I arrive at Axiom, with a truck full of all my belongings, and no place to go but to move in, Tyler is on the phone, trying to reach somebody regarding a worsening of this situation: inspection has taken place, the CHA inspector now has to go and fill out his forms, and they must be passing forms, to send to another person!! Meanwhile, as building manager, Tyler is doing his managing duties. In a completely unexpected "surprise", he COULD NOT give me access to my apartment until he got the go ahead from CHA. He offered us water or coffee...your getting the picture right? He kept his professional demeanor while being compassionate handling this stressful moment which actually was not a moment; at least 2 hours of waiting -- and finally, "here Mary is your key to your apartment." In addition to Tyler are other staff I've met: Christine, leasing sales consultant, and the two crew maintenance people, Richard and Andrew. Maybe this review is timely: the week of being thankful.
Amy Roberts: So far I have had a great experience living at Axiom. It is kept very clean and organized, and the leasing team is very helpful whenever I need them. My appliances are high quality. The walls are thick and I cannot hear noise from neighbors. On top of all of this, the neighborhood is lovely. I would definitely recommend!
Song Zhang: Great apartment! Spacious rooms with affordable price! Quiet rooms with double pane windows! Love everything!Big thanks for Christine and Tyler, who answered all my questions (I did ask a lot of questions) quickly and patiently!
pamela infante: Staff is top notch! They made moving across the country less stressful even in these COVID times. The actual apartment was better than I had seen online and the move-in process was virtually contactless. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone.
annaincolorado1: I’ve lived at axiom for several months now. Since the move in, the staff has been extremely accommodating with my requests, and have stepped up whenever I need anything. The ammenidities are comfortable and homey. There is a dog park one block away, and several coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. There are fun events in the lobby every once in a while and the outdoor area is very nice and useful. The location is amazing and close to the red and green line. The Charles river is only a few blocks away. Would definitely recommend living here if you work in or near Kendall square.
Ragnar Larusson: Life at Axiom is gooood. The building is only three years old, and my apartment is modern and in good condition. The central AC is effective and quiet. The building is also LEED certified which lowers your energy bill. The location is good too. Short walk to the T, either to Kendall or Lechmere. My favorite part is how short walk it is to Charles river where you can chill and enjoy the view or take a nice walk or go for a run. Being so centrally located, one should not be surprised by some nice soothing traffic noise. The amenities are great. I use the gym all the time, and the courtyard is a great place to hang out. The people working at Axiom are the best. Always friendly and willing to help!
Heejae Cho: Nice apartment with new appliances and helpful staff. Small but nicely equipped gym.
Alan Malek: I lived in Axiom for about a year and half before relocating for a job. Axiom is one of the "luxury" apartment building in the Cambridge area (along with e.g. university park, 100 Landsdown, Watermark), is that there is an onsite maintenance staff, a front desk, and good amenities. In terms of build quality, the axiom apartments are very good: gas range/oven and great appliances. Very good soundproofing (I never really heard my neighbors) and central heat/ac. You can pay for covered parking, and there is a nice bike room, gym, and outdoor garden.Additionally, I have to commend the staff, who are always friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests are handled very quickly (they even put up my curtains for me), and I the move-out procedure was much more painless that I expected (which is to say, it was not painful at all). How many other building to you find with all 5 star reviews, anyway? Highly recommended.
N. Aronoff: The entire leasing experience at Axiom was terrific. Our leasing consultant, Hazim, walked us through every step of the process, introduced us to the apartment complex and explained the amenities and other aspect of living at Axiom. After moving in, I can vouch that everything Hazim represented about Axiom had proved to be true. Axiom is a first rate complex and community.
Hongtao Hua: The staff is great and the apt is new. There is also a decent gym but not crowded at all. Some people also do barbecue on the common patio space.
Ashley Smith: I've had a great experience so far with my new Axiom Apartment! The massive windows and natural lighting has been so wonderful especially during the darker winter months. The management and facilities folks have been fantastic helping us with anything that came up :)
Raphael Delgado: This was the easiest application process I've ever been through. The staff was amazing, friendly, and very helpful/flexible in meeting our requests for move-in date/time. Aimco has been the best property management company I have dealt with, and would recommend anyone to visit their apartment homes!
