Allston Auto Brokers: what do users think?
vinay kumar: They sold me a lemon vehicle back in 2015, it turned out to be very difficult to resell my car 6 years later and it was too undervalued because of that error on my car and no one was willing to buy my car because of that error. They did not tell me clearly there is an error history on the car and told me its a minor error. It was my first car and I am totally disappointed, beware and never trust what they say.
MR: Goncalves: The Best ......
Frank Alvarado: I buy a BMW X5 and lest that a year I had to spend over 2000 to fix it I had the extender warranties and they didn't want to pay not even one cent .went the car broke down the first people the I call was the people from the dealer and they tell me to call Continental and after continental tell me the don't going to pay the dealer tell me the they didn't pay because I supposed talk to the dealer first and then they talk to Continental to see if they can pay and because I pay to fix the car they cant give me the money back .the all reason I pay for the repair was because they refuse to give me the money back .is was a really bad experience .

City Motor Group / Boston Car Buyers: what do users think?
N Y: Fast and fair offers as always.
Riley Calzonetti: Great experience with City Motor Group. They were honest, not pushy and best of all, the whole process was VERY quick.
Kelly Michael Skelton: Highly recommend Mark and the entire selling experience with City Motor Group. They beat Carvana and CarMax on price AND customer service. Barely any waiting around when I had the car appraised by them and then again when I sold to them. A+
Anastasia Ryhanych: Sam was the most helpful, amicable person ever! Go in and ask for either Noah or Sam. They will assist you through every step of your car-endeavor!
Rachel Winer: Worked with Mark, he was amazing, professional, and straightforward. This was my first time selling a car and he made the process seamless and gave me a good offer. If you want a no hassle and comfortable selling experience definitely go with CMG/BCB!!
Aaron Li: Sold 2 cars there. Very nice and professional, also they give pretty much the best price I could find in town.
Diane Felicio: The process could not have gone more smoothly. Mark and Jessica were helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I got a fair price for my car immediately; there was no need to wrangle over pennies. I am in the process of moving and Boston Car Buyers made a stressful time a little easier.
Leah W: If I could give this group zero stars I would. I had my car assessed there and following that all communication stopped. I have reached out multiple times with no response. Terrible customer service, would not recommend.
Andrew Orent: Great experience! Quick, efficient and honest. Thank you Charlie!I recommend him highly!
Paul OBrien: They were awesome, got $1,900 more than highest dealers offer for trade in for a Lexus 350es
Noel Blair: Nice folks! Very responsive and efficient. Great experience.
Olivier Bruxelle: Highly recommend. Todd made me a fair offer and everything from my place which was super convenient as I didn’t have much time before moving out of the country.
Joanne Robinson: I had an excellent experience with Boston car buyers. I needed to sell my car quickly and they handled everything. I found them through Kelley blue book. They didn’t offer as much as I would’ve liked but the reasons they were not able to do so were solid. I made the appointment one day in advance, a very friendly rep met me at my home and thoroughly assessed my car, made an offer and then agreed to raise it a bit, wrote me a check on the spot, and had someone come over to take the car whenever I was ready, which was the following morning. Such an easy process, and frankly the time saved on the hassle of looking for and haggling with potential buyers was worth the slightly higher higher price I may have been able to negotiate. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
Jay Michael: I showed up without an appointment, I showed them the printed out appraisal I had just received from carmax up in Danvers that morning and how I was unhappy with it. Carmax swore they had the best price and no one could top their appraisal. Charlie spent 5 minutes looking at my car while it was raining and after plugging in a view items into his computer he eventually offered me 1,000 more than carmax offered. They were honest and answered all my questions, I never felt pressured. I almost didn't even go, glad I did, saved myself an extra thousand.
Josh Zagorsky: I was looking to sell my 17-year-old car, so I filled out the appraisal form on the Kelly Blue Book website. KBB must have shared my info, because Boston Car Buyers then sent me an unsolicited email promising to beat KBB's offer. But when I went there, Boston Car Buyers used the KBB offer as a starting price and then deducted scratches, dings, age, etc. (all of which I'd provided during the KBB appraisal) until they offered me almost zero. I walked away and sold the car somewhere else for much more than the KBB offer.Nobody's obligated to buy a car for the Kelly Blue Book price, but Boston Car Buyers really wasted my time by cold emailing me with an empty promise.
Todd Pomeroy: Absolutely believe the reviews! With my lease ending soon, I started to look into buying my vehicle outright. I checked what the local market (car dealers, mainly) were selling Highlanders that were similarly equipped and good condition. Using very conservative estimates I determined that I had some equity in this vehicle. Not a huge amount, but around $1500, definitely worth my time! After my wife indicated her preference for a new vehicle, I decided to see what local dealers would offer to purchase the vehicle from me. I won't waste a lot of time describing my experience, suffice to say that I did not get satisfaction from the dealers, and in fact was pretty much lied to, right to my face, by two different dealers. After entering my vehicle info on KBB, Paul from City Motor Group contacted me, expressing an interest in buying the vehicle. I made an appointment for the next day, and Charlie met me in the lot at the appointed time. He quickly appraised my car, offered me a very fair price, and I was on my way after 30 minutes or so with a check in my pocket. They handled all the paperwork, the process could not have been easier.I cannot say enough about how refreshing it was to be treated so fairly, with so much courtesy and efficiency! I will definitely recommend BostonCarBuyers to anyone with a need to sell a vehicle!
Sims Mitsubishi: Really good experience we sent a customer there and the customer let really happy. Their process is fast and fair.
Ed “Bestbadcomp” Lyons: Thumbs up for these guys
Matthias Bahlke: I was hesitant that BostonCarBuyers would deliver as a number of their reviews seemed generic and from reviewers with only 1 or 2 reviews, but they were close and promised a quick turnaround: 30 minutes! Ha!Well it turns out they were ready to look at my car and were very quick to make an offer. The initial offer was definitely ready in under 30 minutes and all the paperwork could have been completed within the 30, but I had other offers and interest on the car so negotiated a bit. The convenience here is definitely in time it takes and the offer they made was reasonably fair (not enough to get me to move without some negotiation) and certainly not the low-ball I expected and was afraid of. They did not waste my time. I was willing to take a lower offer (compared to a private sale) in interest of the value of my time and I think we both left happy. Todd was friendly and reasonable the whole way through.I will remember this location and wouldn't hesitate to consider again if I find myself looking to sell a car without putting up with the hassle of a private sale!
Steven Chevoor: Easy to talk with. Sold a Subaru WRX. They like to buy clean cars.
Gerson Tigua: Just yesterday 6/7/2019 I went to take a look at a Toyota Corolla 2015 that I saw advertised on their website. When I arrived I met Spencer one of the Salesmen on site. Spencer is wonderful and went over all my options, answered any questions I had concerning the vehicle and even had the courtesy to bring my family some water for our visit. For the finalized of the car, we spoke to Alexandra and she is incredibly nice and efficient. The process was very fast compared to other experiences I've had before. I would recommend City Motor Group to any of my family and friends as the prices are affordable with reasonable dealership fee's.

Cambridge Honda: what do users think?
Shanice Nicole: Amazing customer service ! Anthony was great they fixed my car and had me in and out! 10/10 would definitely recommend! :)
Kieaux C. Kimmon: Joe is amazing! Also received fantastic service for my Civic.
Brendan: Update:It took this much just to get them to offer an "alternative", and you can see based on this response that they won't negotiate. They also neglected to reach out directly to me with this offer, which is a laugh because even if they did the vehicle in question is the cheapest car currently in their inventory. How exactly are you going to help me find a cheaper car if you won't bend on the sticker price of the cheapest car you have in stock? My budget extended to this price range of the vehicle in question, but I have found no evidence that the 10 year old car is worth 50% more than similar model years with low milage. I've checked out several comparable Tiguans, and all of the dealers (VW ones included) were open to negotiation. You might see that as a virtue, I would say its rigid and off-putting.original post:Used car prices are generally inflated by local standards. Completely unwilling to negotiate prices based on market value. Found a VW I was looking for and while the mileage was low the price was as much as certified preowned models several years newer,The manager scoffed when I made an offer below sticker on a 10 year old car. What kind of used car dealer doesn’t negotiate price? Very dissatisfied.I attempted to reach out one last time as I thought I’d give them one last chance, but completely unwilling to budge from their inflated sticker price.
Donna Hill: Easy to get a quick appointment. Work completed promptly
Isabella Sosa: Here again for a service on my car and service is amazing per usual!! Always so professional and friendly! They make sure to explain everything to you. I would 1000% recommend coming here! Anthony from servicing gives excellent customer service!
Katie Robinson: Really great customer service.
Sub creature: Heard my friend had a terrible time negotiating with these guys. WhT kind of used car dealer won’t negotiate from sticker price? Ok Boomers
Brendan Connors: The manager scoffed when I made an offer below sticker on a 10 year old car. What kind of used car dealer doesn’t negotiate price? Very dissatisfied. They made no attempt to suggest an alternative car in my budget and were rude and dismissive.Used car prices are generally inflated by local standards. Completely unwilling to negotiate prices based on market value. Found a VW I was looking for and while the mileage was low the price was as much as certified preowned models several years newer.I attempted to reach out one last time as I thought I’d give them one last chance, but completely unwilling to budge from thier inflated sticker price.
Jason Bender: Joe P has always provided absolutely amazing and friendly service. Feels like family!
Ian Lane: Glenn and others always do a great job of explaining what is needed and providing honest and transparent feedback. Very trustworthy.
Mary Sutherland: Just in for an oil change & tire rotation. Took exactly 90 min. as I was told. Friendly informative service. I was very early for my appointment.
Michael Carroll: Once again …. Great service and sales team!
Marin Braco: Do not buy a car from this business. I just purchased a car from Honda Cambridge and I am so frustrated with the process. At every step in the process the employees were unprofessional and poor communicators. Shockingly irresponsible and sloppy with a return customer making a big financial decision.
Diane bradley: The service department is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Jaleh Jalili: It was easy to make an appointment for oil change. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have done the service in timely manner.
Soheil Dowlatshahi: Great Service!
Jo Smolsky: They were very helpful, in and out quickly! Great customer service!
Conor Byrne: Fast, friendly and great communication
Deb Benjamin: High quality work, excellent customer service. I always take my CR-V to Cambridge Honda.
matthew medeiros: The whole team is awesome, they always take really good care of me when Im there.
Kristin Bray: Great service and communication. We’ve had a total of four cars serviced here over the last 20 years. Would highly recommend.

Arlington Auto Brokers: what do users think?
Camden Bauer: The owner, Amon, is very personable and made buying a car an extremely easy process. The car I was looking to buy had some minor issues and they were taken care of with no hesitation. Would 100% recommend this business to anyone looking for a used car from a reputable person.
Joe Johnson: Amon was very helpful and accommodating. Great doing business with you!
Dean Giardino: Arlington akto broker sold me a car we had a verbal agreement I offered them cash he said n you can pick it up on a couple days when I called to pick it up it was a cash deal they told me the car wasn't for sale the were giving I yo a cousin buy I could have another car s year older with more miles .That's called bait and switch. The car I bought is still being advertised.Normslly I wouldn't care but I called s job that's been waiting for me to buy a carWhen I told them the dealer cancelled they told me they could no longer wait and I lost the job.Anf Arlington auto brokers is still advertising the car I bought.they could of gave thiet cousin any car on that lot until they found h what he wanted.Very poor maybe even criminal business tactics
G M: The owner is the nicest and kindest car dealer I have ever had worked with. Fair and easy to work with.
Ryan Williams: Owner is honest and very helpful. Good vehicles at decent prices.
Joe Sarr: Shopped online and they arranged a test drive quickly. Got me into exactly what was best for me, quickly with no run-around. Everyone involved in the process was greatExcellent servicesThanks amon
Ben: Amon has been extremely profession and helpful throughout the entire process.
Laura C. Marrero: Excellent customer service, warm, friendly and honest. Happy with my purchase, it’s been over 2yrs and the car is reliable and got it for an affordable price. Highly recommend, I will definitely return.
Ohta: Thanks to his professional service, only 10 days after I moved from Japan, I drove my own car and went to shopping with my wife and daughter. Although this is the very first time for me to buy a car in the US, I've felt no pressure through the negotiation. Rather, his friendly and attentive manner eased me a lot. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend Arlington Auto Brokers to you who is looking for a used car and great experience.
Armine Manukyan: ***DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP*** The owner is unprofessional, and sold me a lemon. When addressing the situation, he completely denied the situation and blamed my daughter. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy from this dealership.

Boston Foreign Motor: what do users think?
Danny Baer: These guys were great to deal with. Malad and Bobby were both very professional and personable without being salesman-like, which was refreshing. Probably my fastest car buying experience ever. And super easy to deal with on the trade-in side. Absolutely loved the ability to e-sign docs and wire money remotely instead of having to do it all right there on the spot.
Tom Macone: Little hesitant about purchasing a vehicle of this value at a smaller dealer but they quickly put my fears to rest.Real solid car, good deal & great people
Nathalie JeanPhilippe: For the first time I decided to shop around for a new car and not just walk in a specific dealership to buy one. I met Bobby in search of car shopping. He went above and beyond to ensure my experience was good. He was diligent, personable and professional. Acquiring debt is never a good feeling once you’ve sign off but Bobby Shah was extremely helpful and great to deal with. I will definitely recommend him and Boston Foreign Motor as a preferred option. The experience made a difference to me.Thanks Bobby
Ali Setarehaseman: Bobby was extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He was able to answer my questions regarding the vehicle and got me approved for financing and the paperwork signed in less than 24 hours. The car had to be shipped to Houston and it was in my hands a week later. The car is in perfect condition, exactly as advertised, and I am very happy with my RSQ8. Excellent experience all around and will definitely do business with Boston Foreign Motor again. Thanks again for the amazing vehicle
Charlie Silver: Spent my evening driving from Rhode Island to look at a Tesla Model 3. I had an appointment with Bobby who made me wait for 30 minutes. No big deal, we all run late sometimes. While I was in, a woman who had just purchased an Audi Q7 was there just a couple hours after picking up her car because her tire pressure sensor was going off. Although they fixed it, Bobby tried to blame it on her and said "you probably just ran over a nail after picking it up" to which she responded that she had driven it only once so far. Anyways, I was very interested in the Tesla I had found online as it was exactly what I was looking for, but after visiting the dealership, it was clear that this was not a place I would ever purchase a car from. Bobby was extremely unfriendly and seemed as though he had no interest in actually selling the car. He barely said hi to me and just led me over to the car, unlocked it, and then left and went to do something else. He did not ask if I have any questions and seemed angry at me for even being there. I have never felt so disrespected by a car salesman. I am young so that may be why he was not taking me seriously, but I showed up in a Range Rover and was actually looking to purchase a new car. I do not understand why Bobby was so disrespectful and unhelpful, as he very well may have had a customer if he hadn't treated me so badly. They seem to have a response back to all of the negative reviews justifying on their end and I am looking forward to seeing what their response to this is. Absolutely horrible experience. STEER CLEAR OF BOSTON FOREIGN MOTOR.
Greg McElroy: Both gentlemen there were very helpful and informative. They wasted no time and were straight forward in assisting me. They allowed me to take my time without trying to convince me to purchase. Each test drive was enjoyable. They have a great car selection to choose from. It might even be difficult to choose. Im happy with my purchase and this will probably be my first stop for my next car.
Clas Linnman: Bough a car from these guys (Shaun) and the whole process was a pain. Car was more expensive that blue-book, and the seller had a ton of tricks to confuse me when negotiating the price.Car fax was not shown, then the registration took several weeks (I had to register the car in another state, but was told this would be a matter of days). While waiting for the car, they did not communicate what was going on, and when I finally got the car (about a month delayed) they lied about why they were so slow and blamed the DMV (records indicated that the DMV responded immediately, then papers sat on their desks for a week or more despite my repeated calls).I took the car to get serviced and inspected, only to find out that they had put cheap tires on that do not meet the inspection, so that is another 500 bucks! When I talked to the seller about these concerns, and told him I was not satisfied as he had madepromises he did not keep, he talked back to me and told me "you know you can´t always get what you want".Their business model is basically to buy lemons from California, only tell clients minimal information unless explicitly asked, and then add fees and fumble with papers as much as they can get away with.Stay away from these guys.Update: 7 years later. Car worked fine, but when I tried to sell it no dealer would take it as it has “Lemon law” on the title, so essentially no second hand value. Boston foreign motors did not explain this to me. Lesson learned.Regarding their comments below, my wife and I did buy a car from you in her name, and I am just not using my real name here as I am a professional and this is a review, not a formal complaint to your business model. The fact that you sold us a car with a lemon law title without explaining it to us (we were first time buyers and new to the US) just shows that you are not very serious about being a customer friendly business. Also, yes, tires on the car were approved, but as cheap as they come.
Michael Caffi: Milad Farahani was easy to work with and the cars were priced competitively. I opted for a newer model (Audi Q7) that had lower miles and still under warranty because it was the best price I had seen after looking for a couple of weeks in the greater Boston area. When I arrived for my appointment the car was ready to test drive and looked brand new inside and out. An hour later I had a deal, no games! Highly recommended if you’re in the market for a preowned luxury car.
Joshua Mclackle: The only 5 star these guys have is themselves making accounts. Look through all reviews throughly all these guys are is scammers. Be ware even stepping foot on these guys property before they start calling you names or making faces at you. Tried to negotiate the price on a branded title car that got sold to them for $15,000 is now listed for over $30,000 people check the car fax reports on the cars from these guys because they won’t tell you what’s wrong.
Ej Ora: “Sells 50 cars a month” kind of hard to believe when these people all have no clue what they are talking about when it comes to cars. They all have attitudes and laughed when we walked out of the building calling me rude names because I didn’t feel comfortable buying a car from these guys. Very unprofessional and should definitely have the place shut down and examined can definitely find some sketchy stuff going on there
Rizon Gfx Pretty bad: Terrible place to go rude salesperson has no knowledge and tries to sell hack job cars for full price. Very sketchy place be careful buying a car from there
David Girioni: Excellent experience. The car I purchased was exactly as I'd hoped from the online description and pictures. I travelled from Rhode Island after making an appointment with Bobby who was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. The no-haggling price online was very fair and made it easy to focus on the details of the transaction rather than worry about whether or not I was getting the best deal. Bobby was professional, responsive, and easy to deal with - I will be calling him when I'm ready for my next vehicle.
Michael Feltis: Terrible experience. My wife purchased the car after we were told it had been driven several times and how it was in "amazing shape". Well, after the purchase and on our way home, a drivers side cv shaft starting clicking about 15 minutes into the drive, and 3 lights came on. ABS, Traction control, and brake light. I pulled over, and they did come and get it, not with a wrecker or flatbed mind you, but drove it back that way. (I'm sure that was good for it) and then told me they would get right to work on it, and apologized. Things happen, I get it, bad luck on my part. But from that point on, communication was TERRIBLE. After a few days had passed, I would text, and sometimes the salesman would reply the same day, but other times not get a response until a day or two later, if at all. Well, After fixing the shaft, the garage they were at couldn't fix the lights that were on. They took it to a "specialist" at a different shop who said the transfer case was bad and would need to be replaced. We asked where the car was exactly, (I mean at this point we own it, we have a right to know I would think) and the salesman would not tell us, just what town it was in. My wife asked the salesman several times through text if it was a new, used, or rebuilt transfer case, and he avoided the question every time. Claiming he didn't know what they installed and would have to find out and let us know. First of all, how do you not know as the customer of the specialist what he's installing? They are fixing what could be a several thousand dollar issue if it's new, or a several hundred dollar part if you just put a used one in. There's no way that wouldn't have been communicated before installation. She also asked several times through text if we could get a copy of the invoice for our personal records, price did not have to be included, just a copy so we know what work was done. The salesman didn't tell us that either and there was no paperwork in the car. About three weeks into this, my wife called the dealership and wanted to speak to the owner. The person on the phone was very rude to her, insisting he had to know who she was, and what she wanted, and then ended up hanging up on her! Anyway, long story short, they had the car for over a month before we finally received it. (Purchased Dec 10th, received Jan 12th)Aside from poor communication, side stepping important questions, eating up 32 days of my 90 day warranty, and being rude on the phone to my wife when she tried calling the owner of the dealership just to figure out what was going on, We will not be purchasing ever again from Boston Foreign Motor. Also, those 3 lights that came on and the "specialist" fixed with an "I'm assuming" used transfer case. they've come back on 3 different times since we got it 2 weeks ago. But there's NO WAY I'll be bringing the car back down there!
Quentin Alexander: Bobby made the whole process easy, hassle free and he was never pushy like other dealers. He was very accessible by phone or text when I had any questions. There was no sitting in an office for long hours processing paperwork, they processed everything virtually. So far the Acura I purchased is awesome and a pleasure to ride. I am grateful that I made the decision to purchase this car, it’s just what I wanted.
Nokuthula Sibanda: I highly recommend Boston Foreign Motors! The customer service I received was impeccable. When I walked in the door I had so much anxiety, since this was my first time purchasing a vehicle on my own Milad, guided me through the process making it easy for me to make the right choice. After signing the paperwork for my new vehicle I left confident and happy. Even after a delay occurred with getting my vehicle registered Boston Foreign Motors was able to reimburse me for my rental vehicle ensuring that I did not experience any inconvenience. Thank you, Boston Foreign Motors, I love my new car!
Marta Holbrook: Great please to buy a car and fantastic people to work with. I was looking for Tesla and found model 3 here that was very competitively priced. Staff was very honest and pleasure to work with. I traded my very old Acura and left with 2020 Tesla within 2.5 hours. They took care of my license plates, financing and even offer small car touch-ups. Highly recommended!!!
Wolfram von Schoen: Legit dealer with fair pricing and quality inventory. No pressure sale, great communication, and when my purchase developed a slight surprise quality issue the day after I drove home, Bobby and Milad took care of it without any fuss. I’d buy here again with confidence.
Kristine Glynn: Bought a beautiful BMW with expert help from Bobby. He was great and did all of the paperwork. It was so easy and LOVE the car!
Moe Om: Don’t trust this dealership or these guys and also don’t trust any CLEAN CARFAX REPORT they show u. make sure u check any car u like with professional body guy and professional mechanic.
Dean Meyer: My wife and I decided we wanted to find a Porsche Cayman, specifically Guards Red with either black or beige interior and with lower mileage. After searching on line, Boston Foreign Motor had exactly what we were looking for. We called and talked with Bobby and put a deposit on the Porsche. We did a partial finance on the Porsche and Bobby was both patient and extremely helpful going through this process. We wired Bobby the additional cash we were putting down and sent the check for the loan FedEx next day. Bobby facilitated an automotive hauler to deliver the Porsche to our house 800 plus miles away. We paid the driver cash upon delivery and now our beautiful red Porsche is now at home in our garage.Don't hesitate finding your dream vehicle at Boston Foreign Motor. Working with Bobby will make it a simple and memorable experience! Oh, and our dream Porsche was exactly the way Bobby described it to be, very clean and in excellent condition!
Jason Lacroix: Fantastic experience working with Bobby and felt no pressure. Was a very smooth transition out of a lease and into a BMW X5
