Baert Marine: what do users think?
Tony Marques: Worse place to do business with very unprofessional and rude.
Scott Rieder: Very helpful to me as a walk-in with a very minor project
William Lho: Very helpful and always responded in a timely manner. Tim in service is the man always kind and helping customer fairly.
T J: Excellent service.
Ken Faubel: Bought an outboard last summer and an inflatable this year. Friendly folks and a nice selection of stuff including parts. Not cheap but that's boating.
Alex Cassie: 2 Stars, because they managed to hang a new engine on a hull. Passed that they apparently don't care. Tried to prime the fuel line and had an instant fuel leak. The engine oil was less than half full as well. Also, the electrical wiring was left disconnected from the battery and wiring brackets were left dangling. We found the spin on water separator/fuel filter was not tight. The steering wheel was not close to being straight. I'm now fixing all the problems on my friends boat and he paid through the nose to have repowered. Don't take your boat there if you care about it. Anyone with a little knowledge could do a more conscientious job. Considering they let a boat leave without the bilge pump connected and a fuel leak on a brand new installation, maybe they should not be servicing anything. Compare prices before you buy here. I called around and found much better prices on outboards and service. For what they charge your boat should be returned in better operating condition.
Lynn Logan: We recently purchased a used boat from this marina and had very smooth transaction, from initial inspection to sea trial to hitching her up to our truck for the drive home. Everything they said they would do, they did. We got an amazing boat at a fair price. Good people!
George Shashaty: Nice place for the wealthy not a middle class product boats pricey friendly service though knowlegable.
Brian F: I own a Grady White and have used Baert Marine for parts in the past. Can't say I ever had any issue with buying parts except maybe that their prices seem 20-30% higher than other dealers. However, they were closer than other Yamaha dealers so "was" what it "was". I don't go here any more, hence the past tense. Why the 1 star? Because there was no option for zero stars.Last year my nephew brought his Yamaha 2 stroke to them based on my referral. They seemed to take a long time and were off with everything they scheduled or estimated. Their service departments troubleshooting process was a parts swapping methodology for electrical and fuel parts. To be clear, my nephew brought it in for fuel issues and mentioned that he was interested in having the carbs cleaned and evaluation of the fuel system. By the time they got to the carbs they were already into the thousands with other parts and had not even run it yet. OK, maybe they are being thorough? They claimed the carbs were too bad to cleaned which was one of the most ridiculous and lazy things I have ever heard. I have seen some really bad carburetors over my time and have never found a carb so bad it could not be cleaned / rebuilt. They milked my nephew for 3 brand new carbs at over $500 a piece. I think it was closer to 600 each but after labor he was into this motor for almost $5K .... and they have not even started it yet. Claim was also that the carbs would take 2+ months to come in but then came in within 2 weeks and then they made him wait even longer to install them. Makes sense, they likely take better care of their elite customers and put everyone else on the back burner. Finally he got call to come pick up his boat and he was ecstatic. I went with him for this trip to make sure everything went well. Started it up and sounded ok. We were not 1000 feet from the dock and the engine accelerated outside of the throttle out of control, then died. Would not restart. Pulled cover off of outboard and saw one of the bolts from one carburetor in the bottom pan and another backing out / with a loose carburetor.Result was.... get this.... (because it shows how bad these people really are) - Blown head / piston and Baert Marine claimed that there was water in the two stroke oil that caused it and claimed zero responsibility/accountability for the loose carburetor. They even offered to sell him a new Yamaha engine and said that his was older and should be replaced. WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? I could not believe what I heard. I saw the carb hanging with my own two eyes. I was holding the loose bolt in my hands. When a 2 stroke gets water in the combustion chamber, it dies. You get steam as a sign just as this happens and it boggs down rather quick. When you mix too much air (such as when a carb is wide open and loose) the engine keeps going until it melts. Think about how a fire is supported and when you throw water on it vs some wind. Simple high school chemistry?Needless to say, my nephew got completely screwed from this dealership and we will never go back nor refer anyone there ever again. I hope they go out of business and I even made a complaint to Grady White about them. There are many better options out there. If you decide to still do business with them, I hope you have better results but to me their integrity is shot. Management ultimately decides how/if they take care of their customers and do the right thing. They did not.Find a dealer that is more accountable and will take care of at least their own mistakes. Trial and error methodology is also unacceptable. Test out all major systems then tell the client about the potential costs after an assessment. Even if a range. I'm sure that if he knew that the costs of repairing a 12-14 year old outboard could be 5-6K, he may have considered other options including a re-power.
Ed Cloutman: Grady white the BEST around
milo 04sox: They are great people who are selling great products. Thank you for the time you took with me over my purchase...
Bob Park: Very courteous, very quick service. Would highly recommend.
RedSox Fan: I could write a book with my recent bad experiences here. Shame on me for keep going back though. Really hoped they could resolve my issues but clear that they are not good at solving problems, only suggesting new parts and service time on the same problem.Issues: They take a LOT longer than they estimate, terrible communicators, overcharge for their services, and do not stand behind their work (especially their mistakes). To be clear though they did not used to be this way but over the last year or so, they have gone downhill. Heard a rumor from another boat dealer that they are struggling financially which may be contributing to their reduced quality of service. No matter the reasons, I am one Grady White boat owner that will never return to this place.
Molly Ruggles: professional, knowledgeable, well organized.
Thomas MacDougall: I bought a boat from Baert Marine in March of 2018. I spoke to them for the first time at the boat show in Boston and began what was a quick, professional, and painless, negotiation. I took delivery in early May and have enjoyed the boat since. I scheduled my 20 hour service and it was as easy and professional as the negotiation and delivery process. My expectations have been exceeded every step of the way. Baert is a top notch operation from sales through service, they model responsible professionalism in every aspect of their business.
Gina Belmonte: Excellent
Thomas Jevon: very friendly salestaff, excellent selection of boats and rigid inflatables

Kevin Coughlin: Worked with Rob throughout January and the Covid-19 crisis and we closed on boat recently. Rob was incredible with his follow up, follow through during the whole process. I would say service and communication was above and beyond my expectations. Rob Dorfmeyer was exemplary.

Danversport Marina: what do users think?
Brady Overman: Great crew
Scagguy 4014: A few some odd years ago, I had my Stingray wrapped and stored there. Then In the spring they were kind enough to take the carburetor off so I could clean it and rebuild it.Boat ran amazing that following season. They team is very knowledgeable, and couldn’t be more pleasant to deal with.
Uncle Ty: Friendly service, great facilities and staff that exceedes expectations.
James Schaye: Excellent diligent staff
BJ M: Great place to store boat. Very reasonable prices.
Michele Kuzmich: We love everything about Danvers Port Marina! This will be our fourth year at the Marina. As a member we have had the opportunity to enjoy countless functions and events. The facility is always immaculate. Their entire team works together to meet the needs of their guest. Dan and Billy do a fantastic job handling everything in regards to all your logistical needs for your boat. In the office Brian,Jim and Erin have been wonderful going out of their way to always accommodate us. We recently purchased a Scout from Brian, he took the extra time with all of our special request and delivered as promised! We would highly recommend Danversport and their amazing team to anyone !!
M K: Beautiful facilities, excellent, knowledgeable professional staff.
Jon Brideau: This place is the best!
Leo Castro: Marina is decent. Some nice people on the docks and cheap for the north shore. It is close to 30 mins of no wake with 2 bridges that may need to be raised for a boat. Docks are solid and maintained well, has shore power and fresh water. SERVICE Department is completely incompetent. We had to stop storing our boat for the winter here. When we would have it dewinterized there would have anti freeze in all of the fresh and salt water lines, the boat would be covered in muddy foot prints. One year THEY LOST OUR KEYS, when we asked for our keys back after wi ter storage, they told us we had them and that we must of lost them, 2 years later we got a call saying they had done some spring cleaning and found our keys, we never got an apology. IN SHORT-- the marina itself is nice expect for the long no wake zone but the service department is completely and utterly incompetent.
Kevin Donovan: My brother and new sister in Law had their wedding ceremony in late June. Beautiful locale and although we could not utilize the reception hall due to COVID the scenery and company combined for an amazing time!
Valentina Spagnuolo: Love it!!!! Party day and night 🎊🥂
CK FS: Working with Danversport has been amazing! I have had to reschedule my bridal shower twice now due to COVID19 and they never failed to find something that worked for me. They always answered my emails in a timely manner and were extremely professional. They truly showed how much they cared for me as a bride and what I was going through with having to postpone. They went above and beyond I really can't say enough how thankful I am that I chose Danversport and how wonderful every staff member has been to work with.
Joseph Dunn: Bought parts for my Yahaha outboard from Jim McKinnon.Jim took the time to explain how to winterize my motor. Friendly, helpfull service is hard to come by lately. Thanks Jim for being kind to a senior citizen.
Cynthea Michaels: I'm disappointed that they have gone all "function" and "pub style" dining. The food is equally as fabulous, but I miss the fine dining atmosphere.
Ben Weisman: I am a new slip holder/member this year. The team at Danversport is very accommodating and respond to emails quickly. All the owners of the slips around me are helpful and friendly. Convenient to get to and reasonably priced slips.
Reely Hooked Fishing Charters: Absolutely amazing place and great service department, these guys are awesome 👍
Eric Chase: It's one of the best marina's on the north shore
David Dennesen: I am a new customer at Danversport and thoroughly impressed with the customer service of Erin and Brian. Very accommodating and they engage the customers very well, they are very generous with their time and are focused on your needs. Great job and thank you.
Charlie Miller: Great Marina great location
Matthew Bergeron: Great people, very accommodating, and trust worthy. I bought my boat , maintain, and store it all at the marina. I would highly recommend Danversport Marina for all those reasons.
Doug York: great food, bit pricey
