Capoeira MdP - Dance Complex: what do users think?
AJ: A very welcoming group and excellent instructors
Satomi Ginoza: Checked this place out 3 years ago and am hooked! Steep learning curve but then you get hooked. Love the energy, the community, and it’s an AMAZING workout.
Neheet Trivedi: Mestre Chuvisco and Mandingueiros are fantastic. I have loved training with this group for a long time. Great training, great community, a serious workout, and my game has seriously improved. Good for beginners and advanced alike.
Natalia Kelley: Capoeira mdp is an amazing group! The are very involved in the Cambridge/Boston area and truly care about what they do! The group is extremely welcoming to beginners and seasoned capoeiristas alike. Many members have practiced together for a long time which promotes a very comfortable, familiar, and fun group culture. You’ll get a great workout and have the opportunity to learn about the music, culture, and energy of capoeira. You won’t regret practicing with this group!
Beth: Great school! They have multiple locations around the city which run 6 classes a week right now. The vibe is very positive and the critique is thoughtful. There’s a ton of rooms in the dance complex - so make sure to check which room class is in each day because it varies.
Spylberg Moreira: Hands down, the best Capoeira school in the area of Boston. MdP Capoeira has such an amazing and friendly environment that makes you feel like you are at home. The training is great, intense, and fun all put together. At the very end, they have their daily "roda" that blows your mind away with such great energy.
liv ocelot: Awesome capoeira group. Love them as my family

Christopher Pegues: A great introduction to the Brazilian art of capoeira
Taboa’s Nature: Beautiful performances and beautiful family! This guys are terrific at keeping the community together and caring about the students.I will recommend to anyone and everyone to try one of their classes.
Beth: This is a great school! The folks are super welcoming and have a really positive vibe. I’ve found the feedback is good and thoughtful. A tip for the Windsor St place - the entrance is behind the health center and the class is generally on the basketball court. Changing is in the restrooms.

Capoeira Angola Quintal Boston: what do users think?
Felipe Marques: Excellent teachers Gafa and Gigante! Great respectful students, outstanding cantigos (songs) and instuments. All techniques are in Brazilian Portuguese. Took my first class here and I'm staying. I also noticed they are very respectful of the whole Capoeira community as a whole and as a Brazilian, I really enjoyed everything about them. Reasonable price, they respond if you get in contact, 100/100 experience!
Magdalena Georgieva: I've been a part of this group for the last five years, and love every moment of it. I started absolutely accidentally, curious about this Brazilian dance-fighting, and stayed for the people, the fun of singing and playing music, the purposeful movement, and the contact act of learning. Today I'm proud to say I can do a headstand, take someone down, and sing in Portuguese.
Rachel Kronberg: When I found CAQ on Facebook and took my first class, I was just excited to learn Capoeira. I had no idea that I would find a group of people that I now consider family.CAQ makes me look forward to Sundays and Wednesdays, which i never thought was possible.Gafa and Gigante are thoughtful, patient and incredibly fun teachers. The other students are fun, kind and encouraging. In the course of a class you might sing off key, play a drum off beat, fall on your butt and end up covered in sweat - but you’ll laugh the entire time, never feel judged and leave class already excited for the next one.As you advance in your Capoeira game, you’ll learn a ton of strategy and game theory. It will completely change the way you move your body and how you understand the world around you.CAQ isn’t a group to visit to once and never return. It’s a passionate and beautiful community that deserves your whole hearted investment.I hope to see you in class!

Sinha Capoeira: what do users think?
nancy jimenez: We love the environment, the learning experience and the passion with Mestre guide the kids in this Art. Our son ask every day if he is going to Capoeira!! And we tell him not today sadly. We are happy see how he enjoys class and at the end we see him tired but happy, energetic and with the sense of community!!!
Marloes R: My son joined Sinha Capoeira in 2018 when he was 7. I was looking for a place where he could burn off his energy through acrobatics and rhythm, but not gymnastics and not dance.I have known about Capoeira for a while and thought it might be a good fit for my high energy child. It was! After every training the kids are drenched in sweat, had acrobatics, gymnastics, dance, martial arts, learn some Portuguese, learn about culture and rhythm and discipline. Also, there is an interesting combination of art and discipline, rules and self expression, technique and creativity. It stretches you to develop and learn more deeply. It's all co-ed. Empowering young children, boys, girls, anyone. Working with different ages at the same time. Newcomers of all ages join. The academy is inclusive and welcoming.5 years later...we are still here. This class was a pillar of sport and social connection during COVID.And the best part, there are performances and shows, they are easy to attend, there's no complicated sign ups, no extra costs. There is a sense of community and having a good time! It's also a perfect cross training for many athletic programs. We combine this with soccer and it's a great combination.
Rita Kraner: Excellent school. My son loved it (and makes us drive 30+ minutes). Highly recommend it.
Graham Jones: Sinha is a beautiful school and wonderful community. My kids have been attending for several years. Sinha promotes not only physical fitness but also confidence and creativity. They learn a martial art, but also the language, music, and sense of tradition that goes with it. The annual graduation ceremonies are absolutely spectacular!
Natalia K: My 13-year-old daughter has been practicing for 5 years here. Capoeira is not just a competition for her, it's a beautiful art and a place of cooperation. The people here feel like one big family. Everyone is always willing to help, support each other and share their knowledge. Thank you, Mestre, for this unique community.
Devyani Choudhary: I joined Sinha Capoeira in Feb 2020. A month in, lockdown began. I can honestly say that half of the credit for my mental sanity goes to Mestre, and his persistence to teach through the pandemic remotely. The capoeira community at Sinha challenges my physical and mental abilities, and I am thankful to have found em :)The group is fairly diverse in terms of age, nationality, gender. You can see flags of so many countries displayed in our school, representative of the national diversity.Unless I have to move to a different state, you will find me training at Sinha!
Naomi Azar: Since stumbling into this school for a community class this past Halloween, we have found ourselves devoted students and a family changed for the better. Both myself and my 2 kids (ages 6 and 10) are enrolled and take classes 1-3 times per week. Each class offers something new and a sense of personal growth. If you are looking for more than a hobby, you have found the right place. If you are looking for a community, you have found the right place. If you are looking for tradition and music and connection to culture, you have found the right place. If you are looking for a Mestre who leads from the heart you have found the right place. If you are looking to train in capoeira, look no further.
Sylvie Lorsolo: Sinha Capoeira is a great place for both kids and adults. My daughter started there a year and a half ago, and it was so great, that I decided to practice too! Everybody is nice, helpful and non-judgmental. Mestre is strict, but in a good way: He makes you really appreciate all the values encompassed in the teaching and practicing of Capoeira. I found this place by chance, but I am staying by choice. ❤️
Mark Szretter: Our six year old has enjoyed Sinha Capoeira’s classes very much. And the sense of warm welcome and community they have created is singularly special. Highly recommend to any parent of little ones!
Elias Boroda: All that is great about capoeira you will find here at Sinha. Mestre knows how to teach all skill levels, advanced, beginner, kids or adults.
Amadeus Cavalcanti Salvador de Alcântara: Great Capoeira school! Mestre Chuvisquinho is passionate about the art he teaches and welcomes everyone to learn Capoeira and be part of the community.
Matthew Wilkinson: This is a great studio. The teacher is amazing w kids- I’m sure the adult classes are good but I only know it as a parent. My kids love learning here- great community feel- excellent teaching- and very motivating.
Anton Molokov: Amazing capoeira school for kids and adults!

Capoeira Gerais Boston: what do users think?
C Edwards: I love it. I met new people.they made it I could do. It was a great experience
Daniel Jackson: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Raquel Cezar: Amazing! Coreba is a wonderful teacher highly liked and admire!
Michael Prentky: I've been training with Marquinho and Capoeira Gerais for 5 years now and it has changed my life. Marquinho, aside from being a Capoeira Master with 25 years of experience, is an incredibly patient, kind and encouraging teacher. The class is open to people of all ages, and has a nice mix of ages and genders. It's a great mix of working out and learning an incredible vocabulary of movements. The music is another amazing and special aspect of capoeira that's not to be missed. It's a really great group of friendly people of all different levels; no experience necessary. Come by and try some time (for free)!
