Lily P's Fried Chicken and Oysters: what do users think?
Norm Zurawski: Decent place to grab a bite to eat. Service was good. Meal was fine, nothing amazing. I would go back but I would not say it's a must-eat kinda place. It worked.
Johny Osorio: Muy bienFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Brigitte P: The atmosphere was great with live bands inside and out. The service was okay, food was good. My partner got the Jamaican jerk wings and he didn't love them but did like them. Not super vegetarian friendly as a fried chicken restaurant, but there are options. I got the house salad and brussel sprouts and both were pleasantly surprising.
Lance Li: A pleasant surprise in the office district of Kendall Square. The story behind Lily P’s fried chicken and oyster sounds enticing and I walked in to see how can fried chicken and fried oyster come together. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough space to try their fried oysters. The highlight of the meal was the Nashville hot fried chicken (half bird, 4 pieces). It’s very juicy, tender, and full of flavor, the battered crispy skin literally falls off of your mouth, and more importantly, they were able to keep the chicken breasts tender as well. (I have had very dry ones). Another surprise was how small the buttermilk biscuits were, but delicious!Fries were a bit too salty with the ranch, black pepper honey were a bit too sweet.Otherwise, this fried chicken shop tastes even better than the (in)famous Popeyes friend chicken sandwich.
Daniel Wang: Great fried chicken in cool ambience and fantastic service!!! Our chicken was delayed so they brought us some cornbread muffins in the meantime. They happily replaced my friends drink because he ordered the wrong beer. Will def be back in the summer!

Chris Gerry: Lily P's offers good oysters, mediocre fried chicken (tasty batter but too oily), and great sides. The mishmashed decor and atmosphere are puzzling – it's not clear what vibe they're trying to set. Kendall has many better options within just a few blocks. If you have your heart set on chicken and cocktails, Shy Bird will likely provide a better experience.
Olivia Jacobs: Jake is the best bar tender I've ever met. I've been coming here for Bluegrass Tuesdays for a while now, and I love to see Jake behind the bar. He is friendly and efficient and just really an excellent service person. He deserves a raise and a promotion. He seriously makes the night so nice for us at the bar. Thank you Jake.
Jessica Julien: Chicken sandwich was 50% batter and 50% undercooked meat
Conrad Osmond: All HAIL the 🐔 SANDO 👑I dare you to find a better chicken sandwich anywhere.. unfortunately they reduced the heat on the spicy sauce..still the 👑 of the chicken 🐔 sandwich..
Will Miller: We listened to a good bluegrass band and had a tasty fried chicken sandwich and salad. Seating was a little tight. Get there early. Great place to hear up and coming bluegrass bands.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Paola Amador: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Devin Currie: When a group pays for a private area to avoid covid and you fail to even slightly police that space and let random groups in, one star
David Rysin: Fun spot with various games (cornhole, giant jenga, etc..) occasional entertainmrnt and great food and staffFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes …More
Florence Bergmann: I attended my first Bluegrass Tuesday at Lily P's and loved it. What a wonderful new home the Boston Bluegrass community has found! I look forward to returning again and again.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tariq Atiyat: Service was friendly and quick but the food is super low quality. Got a fried chicken sandwich and it had a big chunk of chicken fat in the middle, see picture!Food: 1/5|Service: 4/5 …More
Seth Holmes: Bluegrass Tuesdays at Lily P's is fantastic every single week. Great music, drinks, and food.Parking: The parking garage is a little tricky to find. They validate at Lily P's so it's free. There's only one open door to the underground garage after a certain hour.

Laced Quality Kitchen: what do users think?
Brian Earl: Best onion rings in town, I've been to every place around and none of them even compare to what Laced can cook up. Unfortunately I have to knock one star off as their chicken doesn't come close to the magnitude of the onion rings.
Jalen Jimenez: This man makes the best fried chicken 🐔 n America!!!! Must try!!!!!!
Tony BeingReal: Delicious chicken WAS very tasty, but they’re closed down
Ilyas Salam: Got wrong order (got tenders and fries instead of wings and fries and onion rings). The tenders were really bad and the fries were barely acceptable.
Elaine Shiang: Wow, Laced is incredible. After eating their fish sandwiches on wheat bread on many an occasion which are amazingly fresh and filling, I decided to try something different: their chicken wings. I bought a dozen:4 with garlic Parmesan sauce, 4 with sweet chili sauce, and 4 with Jamaican jerk spice. They were MADE TO ORDER: hot, fresh, plump and arranged beautifully. The onion rings were an added bonus. I made a tasty choice and was very happy. And, plenty for tomorrow’s breakfast…I’m a fan.
Luke Ludington: Best chicken sandwich ever
Henry Zhang: Food is good, large portions, service can be slowDine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes Delivery: No Curbside pickup: No …More
Morteza Vahid-Ghavidel: The chicken tastes awesome. Cajun flavor is highly recommended.
shane smith: More variety and more sizes would be a plus . Also to note they're on the pricey side.
Reyes Reyes: 👎🏾
Mr. Jim Business: Order the wings and side, you can choose between fries, or onion rings, I chose the latter. The 8 pc wings were good and plump, not small tiny pieces that you find at the major wings restaurant that have wild Buffalo. These wings have a breading on them, but the whole portion sizes are big and fairly priced. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed
J Jax: Best spot in the food court. Quality food and service. I’m a regular here now.
Pulssar: The simple truth about this place is that within its simplistic design and white walls, it holds some truly delicious food, the chicken is clearly fresh, and everything is cooked to perfection. Never the less this does not hold it back from having flaws… First off, the wait is very long, it taking 15 to 20 minutes in order for me to get 8 wings and some fries, though I understand that this place is severely understaffed, it only having one employee in the entire place, this does not devaluate the fact that the wait is very long. But as a final, but not very severe complaint, is about the food at the front looking unappetizing, though not something that may repel me from coming to this place after tasting it’s food; it is most certainly something that will repel others from coming. To conclude, the food in this place is very good, it’s fresh, and in general, delicious, but it’s slow service and unappealing look (the food at the front and general decoration) might make people less inclined to eat at this place that serves very good food.
Vanessa Edwards: Best food in the mall. The wings are hot, fresh and delicious. The fries are bomb too.
Elijah Dabney: Nah the wings are excellent. Flavorful and huge.
Chloe Sanders: Best fried chicken sandwich EVER. Incredible quality, too good for a mall food court. i really hope this business does well and expands as big as they want to. Everything was flavorful and perfectly prepared.
jaylah nycole .: amazing shoes and great music
Maria Foot: Great place. Love the locations. Needs more Sbs from older Eras but still a great place. Especially the Cambridge location great place, people are great.
Sam Colmanetti: Amazing chicken! I've been addicted for weeks now
Shiba Rashada: The Mac and cheese is to die for it has a delicious creamy taste with a spark of spice love it love it love it
Cole Lewis: Not bad. Tenders were pretty, good juicy. Wings were okay, fries 6/10 but overall nice atmosphere but food and staff could do better.

Shy Bird: what do users think?
Febrina Prameswari: We were sat outside in freezing weather. The food tasted good, but it was cold within minutes, and we had to huddle together for warmthDietary restrictions accommodated Not sure …More
Anali Rodriguez: The food was absolutely delicious!! I got the ranch fried chicken sandwich, out of this world good. It was creamy, it was crispy, flavorful all at the same time. My brother had gotten the macaroni and cheese, it was tasty, very cheesy and creamy. Lastly, my mom got the chicken bites with a ceaser salad. The salad was okay, just a regular salad but the chicken bites were moist and crispy on the outside. With such a unique outstanding flavor. Was very impressed with the place, giving very millennial, the staff were super friendly and made me feel accepted.Kid-friendliness: The staff is very friendly and welcome to anyone!
Jess B: Hate to say it but McDonald's has better chicken.
Paula White: Great food and ambiance!Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Local Guide: They are adding a 4% "Kitchen Administration fee". Why don't they also add a fee for lights and AC. I resent this very much. Will find a different place to eat.
Mahesh Anand: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Katrina Nakhjavan: Chicken was ok. Cocktails were a little bland. But the cucumbers and cauliflower were really good.
Enrique Casillas: The whole chicken is incredible; unbelievably juicy and beautifully seasoned. Highly recommend the pecorino sauce.Recommended dishes Sauces, Rotisserie Chicken …More
Tony Pino: A+ spot. Love the menu. Terrific team. Some strong options to take away for a late night at work (the half bird with some greens) as well as plenty of things for a proper dinner. Gorgeous bar too.Recommended dishes Half Bird, Side Green Salad …More

Aude-Marie Alem: I recommend for the full chicken rôtisserie, it is very tasty and big size, it feels to be at a family dinner which is nice.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Rotisserie Chicken …More
Cassandra Clark: Disappointing.*Brunch Review*For a place that is known for its chicken it’s got a lot of work to do. How is the rotisserie chicken dry!! I’d take Boston Market or the grocery store over this any day. They definitely have the sauces down - ranch, chipotle bbq, sweet and source. All good but necessary to cover up the dry chicken. The menu drew me in - overnight oats, eggs, yogurt, chicken and waffles. Something for everyone.Going with a group of 12 the only thing people were impressed by was the eggs. But the WORST THING was the service. I don’t think our order would have ever been taken or we would have ever gotten the check if we didn’t ask. It took us 40 minutes to place our orders. Our waiter blatantly ignored me when I asked him for a to go box (as he gave me a flimsy cardboard box for yogurt).Overview:Harissa bowl - Not very flavorful, pretty dry. Needs the hard boiled egg.Chicken nuggets- Good but on the same level as KFC but with more meat.Hashbrown - Nothing special. I liked that it wasn’t overly salty.Yogurt - Okay. Pretty sweet with not a lot of fruit.
Martin Riggs: Good food and very friendly and knowing staff in a relaxed atmosphere.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Tyler Crane: Great fried chicken sandwiches and beer
Martha Schick: Obviously you should come for the fried chicken, but the drinks and smoked salmon toast were yummy as well.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes SB Dunks …More
Matthew Daniel: Food was decent but their prices on the menu are incorrect and charge percentage kitchen fee without warning. Charge the correct price - it’s not hard
Margaret Wong: Great lunch spot! The fries are fantastic. Very tasty sauce on the chicken shawarma.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Rosemary-Black Pepper Fries …More
Glenn Pierce: Great quality in food and good service
Pack 50 Milk Street: I have a wonderful experience here at Shy Bird. We were seated at the bar and got a super good service. The burger here is delicious and I definitely come back to it. At the end of our dinner they gave us a complimentary mock tail which was super tasty.Thank you for a kind service, it makes my day wonderful.

Mitchell Hebert: This scam joint charges you a 3% kitchen fee without telling you. Do not support places like this under any circumstances. Tell me up front so I can walk out before spending a dime.
Sabrina Arguello: As a fellow southerner, this place tasted pretty good. It brought me back home through the atmosphere and community like feel. Only complaint was a bit of a dry brisket but overall satisfied with the meal! Also, excellent whiskey selection! This restaurant may have had the largest whiskey selection I have seen in Cambridge!Parking: Decent street parking near the area!
Will McGovern: Pulled Pork Sandwich was great and great service
J. Palmer: Today I ordered a pulled chicken sandwich with fries and let me tell you the bread was soggy, The chicken had no flavor and barely any sauce. For pulled chicken i had one massive piece of chicken nothing pulled about it. I also ordered the Sticky Ribs which must have stuck to the counter because it never came with my order. I thought that the Mississippi Mud would have been a great finishing touch as well. Boy oh boy was i wrong. And why the hell was spicy peanuts added to the Mississippi Mud I have no idea but I threw the whole order in the trash. I will never order from here again to spend over $50 dollars and not get the correct food. Or some food with some flavor is a big disappointment. This is not the place for BBQ just stay home and save your money or order a pizza either way don't make the same mistake i did... NEVER AGAIN
Traci Jovančević: Waited at the bar for over 15 minutes and nobody came to serve me. They weren't even busy, there was 2 other people at the bar.Service: 1/5 …More
John McBratney: This place should get more attention than it does. For a Boston BBQ joint, this place hits.Recommended dishes Sides, Mac & Cheese, The Cornbread, Pit Boss, Brisket Plate, The Wings …More
Kevin Barhydt: Well, if y'all love meat, this is the best place in town! We loved every bite. Soooooo much food, and incredibly fast service.I'm gluten free and the menu is extremely helpful (ask for the allergy menu - it's great!)We had fun, and will return again and again.5 enthusiastic stars✨✨✨✨✨
Hassan Chehab: Came back here for the wings and they were amazing. Probably the best wings I've had in recent memory. Plus the cornbread? Absolutely killer.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
cat: I knew this is a slopy bbq place when I saw there isn't even collar greens on the menu. Came here years ago thought it was mediocre but now it is beyond bad.We ordered many different items and everything tasted very dry, besides the brussel spouts that are completely soaked in oil. Ribs, fried chicken, turkey breast, mac n cheese, toast, etc. are tasteless and dry. Sides are all premade and super sloppy.Service was extremely slow and had very bad attitude. Parking is always hard to find.
KaLe E: Got delivery from DoorDash (I think from this location).Ordered the Pit Boss, came with:+ 3 choices of meats+ 3 choices of sidesThere were too many choices to choose from, but we got: burnt ends, ribs, brisket, mac & cheese, cornbread, brussel sprouts.Freaking delicious, but not so great for the waist. A bit pricey, but I don't have time to slave in the kitchen - so this works. Thank goodness Door Dash delivers.
Jerry Kampler: Took a class with a friend who doesn’t bbq much and had a blast. Bourbon ribs and wings how can you loose? Wings and ribs can’t be beat.Don’t forget the best cornbread there is.
Daniel Bergen: Does this look burnt to you? It looks burnt to me. And that's a $6 piece of cake? I zoomed too close, it was at most 3x3.
