ben Schuringa: I love your your buffalo chicken. The buffalo sauce is very tasty. the mac and cheese was fire.
Isaac Lasko: Very delicious meal and the staff were really nice. I will be coming back
Jonas Procton: Kind staff and delicious saucesFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Russell Gens: These guys do it like nobody else in Cambridge. The meat is exquisite, the sides simply slap, and the sauces are fantastic. Definitely going back
Jeremy Silver: This place is the best! When I had a snafu trying to bring food home to some friends and dropped the food, Tony, the owner, was SO kind and stayed open a few minutes after they closed to cook me up some more food for free. He and the whole staff were incredibly kind about it - and the food was DELICIOUS! Everyone needs to try this place.
Quentin Brandèl: Ordered a fish combination plate. Despite the small portion and the expensive price, I wanted to support the business. Once I tasted the fish and it was devoid of seasoning, I went back to the restaurant to ask if they could prepare the fish again with some seasoning. The immediate response I got from the female employee was “you can’t tell us that we didn’t use seasoning”. Her entire demeanor was disrespectful, and once I returned the same energy she attempted to gaslight me. I then asked for a refund. They then begin to say that they don’t offer refunds.I work hard for my money and I’m intentional about where I spend it. I support small businesses, and I’m completely disappointed. Why would I give my money to doesn’t respect me?!If you don’t know how to speak to customers you’re in the wrong business especially when your food is subpar…Bad food, bad service. Save your money. This is not authentic southern cuisine.PS: they aslo made some weird comment about the words cis and sis, not knowing that my pronouns are they/them.This experience was horrible. All I wanted was for the fish to be seasoned. I didn’t want my money back until I was approached with disrespect.
Khari Brown: Please open earlier waiting til 3 for lunch while at work is far too late.
Subin Lee: We spent $83 on our meal (Uber eats) and I would say we were fairly dissatisfied. I had high hopes for this restaurant given all of the wonderful reviews they had.I was expecting juicy, crispy, lightly battered fried chicken only to get hard, dry, stale chicken. Perhaps they were having an off day but it was just such a let down. The ribs were good but they were tough to eat.We both got the fried chicken and ribs platter with 2 sides and the beef and cheese patty (which was very good!)The only reason I might try again is because their flavor/seasoning is great.
Fay Chan: The jerk wings were cold. I repeat COLD, like they came out of a fridge and they were hard as if old (you can tell by how shriveled the chicken is even in the pic). Mac n cheese was bland. Rice & beans ok. Catfish ok. Only the collard greens were good. Chicken very dry idk how so many people like it. My husband and I both weren’t pleased with the portions either. Overall just not very good.
James Brice: The food was bland I ordered 2/24/23 Uber Eats order number #CDFE6 the Fried chicken thighs I ordered you could tell it was Fried in fish grease that was a Turn off
Shaba C: The best ribs I ever had matter fact the whole meal was was amazing!!
Tim: Best southern food around! But please bring back the chicken and waffles.
Olive Ber: Recommended dishes Cornbread Muffin, Mac & CheeseMore
Jan: Very tasty cake! We had the sweet potato pie and a vanilla and almond cake. Can really recommend to taste them!
Austin Stawiarz: Awesome people and great food! By far the best fried chicken in Boston! I placed an order about 45 minutes before they closed and the food was made to order and take out service was fast.Recommended dishes Chicken Wings Combination, Mixed Fried Chicken Dinner, Cornbread, Cornbread Muffin, Fried Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Fried Chicken with Mac and Cheese and Candy Yams …More
Jessica Winford: Delicious. We live far too close to this restaurant to have taken over a year to finally order. I ordered the fried wing combo with collard greens and Mac n cheese. The Mac was out of this world, very cheesy. And the wings, so much flavor. My husband had the smoked BBQ pork ribs and loved it too. They were so incredibly nice here as well, you can tell they treat everyone like family. Cannot wait to try more on the menu!
Ken Hewitt: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes BBQ, Jerk Chicken, Candied Yams, Medium Mac & Cheese, Potato Salad, Fried Chicken with Mac and Cheese and Candy Yams, Sandwich, Cornbread Muffin, Ribs, Sweet Potato Pie, Fried Chicken, Coast Chicken & Waffle, Collard Greens w Smoked Turkey, Mixed Fried Chicken Dinner, Cornbread, Fried Mixed, Chicken Wings Combination, Mac & Cheese, Fried Catfish, CatfishMore
The Whole Truth: Awesome experience. Great staff and delicious food. Worth the 30mins drive.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kristen Kelly: Did not disappoint! I am thoroughly impressed that they even allowed walkins the day before Thanksgiving within hours of them closing that in itself is amazing. The staff was really sweet. The food was amazing and tasted like home. This definitely will not be my last time here they found themselves a regular. I can’t wait to try what else they have.

Lily P's Fried Chicken and Oysters: what do users think?
Norm Zurawski: Decent place to grab a bite to eat. Service was good. Meal was fine, nothing amazing. I would go back but I would not say it's a must-eat kinda place. It worked.
Johny Osorio: Muy bienFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Brigitte P: The atmosphere was great with live bands inside and out. The service was okay, food was good. My partner got the Jamaican jerk wings and he didn't love them but did like them. Not super vegetarian friendly as a fried chicken restaurant, but there are options. I got the house salad and brussel sprouts and both were pleasantly surprising.
Lance Li: A pleasant surprise in the office district of Kendall Square. The story behind Lily P’s fried chicken and oyster sounds enticing and I walked in to see how can fried chicken and fried oyster come together. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough space to try their fried oysters. The highlight of the meal was the Nashville hot fried chicken (half bird, 4 pieces). It’s very juicy, tender, and full of flavor, the battered crispy skin literally falls off of your mouth, and more importantly, they were able to keep the chicken breasts tender as well. (I have had very dry ones). Another surprise was how small the buttermilk biscuits were, but delicious!Fries were a bit too salty with the ranch, black pepper honey were a bit too sweet.Otherwise, this fried chicken shop tastes even better than the (in)famous Popeyes friend chicken sandwich.
Daniel Wang: Great fried chicken in cool ambience and fantastic service!!! Our chicken was delayed so they brought us some cornbread muffins in the meantime. They happily replaced my friends drink because he ordered the wrong beer. Will def be back in the summer!

Chris Gerry: Lily P's offers good oysters, mediocre fried chicken (tasty batter but too oily), and great sides. The mishmashed decor and atmosphere are puzzling – it's not clear what vibe they're trying to set. Kendall has many better options within just a few blocks. If you have your heart set on chicken and cocktails, Shy Bird will likely provide a better experience.
Olivia Jacobs: Jake is the best bar tender I've ever met. I've been coming here for Bluegrass Tuesdays for a while now, and I love to see Jake behind the bar. He is friendly and efficient and just really an excellent service person. He deserves a raise and a promotion. He seriously makes the night so nice for us at the bar. Thank you Jake.
Jessica Julien: Chicken sandwich was 50% batter and 50% undercooked meat
Conrad Osmond: All HAIL the 🐔 SANDO 👑I dare you to find a better chicken sandwich anywhere.. unfortunately they reduced the heat on the spicy sauce..still the 👑 of the chicken 🐔 sandwich..
Will Miller: We listened to a good bluegrass band and had a tasty fried chicken sandwich and salad. Seating was a little tight. Get there early. Great place to hear up and coming bluegrass bands.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Paola Amador: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Devin Currie: When a group pays for a private area to avoid covid and you fail to even slightly police that space and let random groups in, one star
David Rysin: Fun spot with various games (cornhole, giant jenga, etc..) occasional entertainmrnt and great food and staffFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes …More
Florence Bergmann: I attended my first Bluegrass Tuesday at Lily P's and loved it. What a wonderful new home the Boston Bluegrass community has found! I look forward to returning again and again.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tariq Atiyat: Service was friendly and quick but the food is super low quality. Got a fried chicken sandwich and it had a big chunk of chicken fat in the middle, see picture!Food: 1/5|Service: 4/5 …More
Seth Holmes: Bluegrass Tuesdays at Lily P's is fantastic every single week. Great music, drinks, and food.Parking: The parking garage is a little tricky to find. They validate at Lily P's so it's free. There's only one open door to the underground garage after a certain hour.

Puritan & Company: what do users think?
Joe Cabral: What an amazing addition to the Cambridge dining scene. Maybe the best new opening in years. The food, which is amazing, is only overshadowed by the impeccable service. I'm officially obsessed.
Ben Jams: A thoroughly pleasant and delicious dinner. Service was excellent and the ambiance was cordial and proper.Every dish I tried surprised me in it's own way with a unique flavor profile that satisfied just about every taste bud of mine. The oysters were sweet and creamy. The mushrooms were crunchy and bitter. The carrots had a nice acidic bite. The chowder was actually more lighter than I'm used to but then topped off with a savory bite of bacon. The pasta was my favorite with wonderful texture and nicely balanced sauce. Dessert was very decadentThe only downside is that our server recommended the carpaccio. It was a very one dimensional dish and lacked it's own personality which every other dish had.Food: 9/10Service: 9/10Vibes: 8/10Value: 4/10
Babak Momeni: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
E V: We tried to have dinner there but unfortunately were rudely turned away. We were told all tables are reserved and there is no availability. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case since it was 6pm on a Wednesday and the entire dinning area was empty for the exception of 1-2 tables. Most likely this was their reaction to my 2 school aged boys walking in first ahead of the adults. I would not recommend the place, no food is worth unfriendly service. Definitely not a family friendly place. So that evening we ended up in one of the nearby Portuguese restaurants, where were greeted warmly and the waiter was nice and friendly with everyone in the party, the kids included.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all. No kids allowed.
Nayara Leite: The dinner, service, and ambiance were great! We visited to celebrate my wife's birthday, and everything was perfect. All the drinks we tried were delicious: lion’s tail, indio skies, and vieux carre. The dishes we most liked were the carpaccio and seared scallops. We will come back to try the oyster bar.
Charles Law: The food is ok. Expect to order salad and vegetables separately because the portion sizes are small.I tried: pumpkin risotto, orecchiette (short rib ragout), duck confit cassoulet, cheesecake, toffee cake, and creme bruleePros:- Ingredients are fresh and high quality.- The cook tried to be creative with interesting ingredients.- Mixed drinks are good and the bartender was friendly.- The duck was good. The Baylee's Creme Brulee was good (not too sweet). The short rib pasta was okCons:- I did not care for any of the other dishes. They were bland or the flavors did not work together.- The basil oil on the cheesecake did not work with the other flavors and the gelatinous cake texture was just bad.- The waitress was obviously annoyed when we did not order appetizers or vegetables.I regret choosing this restaurant and will not return.
je pe: One of my favorite place around Inman square food is good and the cocktails are niceFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Craig Mackiewicz: Great food, service and drinks. Waiter had excellent recommendations too.
Colin Maraganore: Absolutely incredible — if Boston did Michelin Stars (which they don’t), they’d have one. The ambiance, friendly staff, and relaxed vibe take this delicious and reasonably priced food to another level. A wine list full of oddities and variations is the cherry on top.If you have allergies, don’t panic. Call the restaurant the day of and let the host know which allergies you have. They will check with the chef to make sure it is doable, then the chef will personally modify anything he can to suit you. Not only is it modified, but it’s still delicious. It’s above and beyond.
Justin Mueller: Went here for Valentine's Day. The food was not undersalted. It was completely unsalted. Every supporting cast of side vegetables was bland. The cocktails tasted... weird? The steak was the right cook, but tough and clearly not cooked with enough butter. All of the salads were underdressed. Everything was too cold. The only thing that wasn't was the dinner rolls, which still took 40 minutes to arrive. You might think this is because of holiday crowding, but it really wasn't that crowded. The desserts were overly sweet and had odd, grainy textures. For the massive price tag, I was at least hoping for it to be edible.
Candace Adelberg: I can't believe I paid $18 for the fig and chevre toast, which used what seemed to use two small pre-sliced store bought sandwich bread slices. The little leaf salad was also disappointing. Overall the food is very overpriced for what you get. Great service though. And the desserts were actually quite good. For somewhere that charges a $150 reservation cancellation fee, I would have expected a better experience.
Andi Land: The food and the vibe were both excellent, but the portions were really small for the price. The service started out okay but then became pretty inattentive. Took 10 minutes to get a second drink order. Physically the restaurant is quite nice and I had no problem with parking. Overall it was a good experience but I wanted two entrees for the size of what they delivered for the price.
Alex Feyder: Awesome dinner. Had the tasting menu. Cannot say enough about the squid ink pasta w/lobster and the lamb. Everything course was fantastic
Joseph Badlissi: Excellent food. The rolls were to die for. Excellent Strip Steak and good salad. Worth visiting again.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Michael Hannon: This place is awful and the staff was incredibly rude. The last time I visited, I tried to order a glass of wine with dinner and was asked for my ID. I am 38 years old, so I found this incredibly surprising. I gave them my valid Canadian ID, but they said they wanted to see a passport. Um, who goes out with their passport? I couldn't provide a passport, so they refused to let me order a glass a wine. I've lived in the US for 6 years and in that time I have always been able to order wine with a meal at a restaurant. Again, I am a 38 year old professor and don't exactly look like I'm 19. I understand why you might want extra proof for someone who looked younger, but the whole situation was so absurd and insulting, especially because I was there with my partner to celebrate some good news, that we decided to leave without ordering food. Go to Barcelona or Harvest instead.
Justin McCarthy: I attended a new years eve tasting menu with my significant other. A credit card was required to make the reservation in advance at a cost of $85 per person, with a required 20% gratuity. When we arrived at 9:05 for our 9pm reservation, we were asked to wait by the bar for an additional 10 minutes. This was foreshadowing for how the entire experience would go. The staff was friendly, polite, and added a redeeming quality. The food was tasty despite extremely small portions (6 pieces of gnocchi... come on man). We had opted for several items that required upcharge. The only upcharged item that was even remotely worth it was the seafood risotto. All in all, this experience was not worth the money or efforts. It may have been an off-night for Puritan & Company, but somehow I doubt that based on the other Google reviews...
Edward Fleming: Good food good drinks friendly people but let's be honest it's all about that bread
Ilya Yurchenko: Very mixed experience. Poor service from our waiter. He served me and extremely watered down and unpalatable espresso martini. When I asked for a different drink he said « what did you expect? ». This set a really bad tone for our experience here. He also took butter for our rolls away before we were done eating. Food itself was good, though overpriced. Carpaccio was tasty but small. Same for the buratta, could use more salt. Fusilli was really good! Rolls were delicious. Swordfish Reuben was tasty but too salty. Overall would try them again, but ideally with better service
Zach Moses: Small well crafted dishes that can get a bit pricey for a weeknight dinner, but the food is well worth the price. Cocktails were phenomenal. The vibe is cozy and slightly formal/upscale.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Korapin Srisom: Reservations is recommend but still possible to walk in.The staffs are nice helpful. We arrived without reservations but squeeze us in as soon as there is open table. We start with roasted carrot that come with lemon yogurt is go well together. The best dishes that we like New England Ciopino and Fusili.
