House of Chang: what do users think?
Thomas Laub: 4.5 Stars. This could be 5 stars if they get the smaller details as well as they do the big ones, like the food, which is spot on for quality and preparation. They also serve sushi which was excellent; they just need to remember it’s Japanese when serving, not Chinese. The serving details are different. Perhaps they’re a bit out of practice for dining-in with the pandemic and all, but their friendliness makes up for the small misses. The aesthetic in the dining room was done by someone with a very good eye. I’m told it’s the owner. It’s nearly perfect.

Donna Hersey: Was very disappointed. I ordered Suan La Chow Snow supposed to be on a bed of bean sprouts but on top of soggy lettuce. No bean sprouts. Wonton soup was like a bowl of salt broth inedible. Steamed dumplings ahh! Oh and the fortune cookies were like rubber. So basically every dish I bought were boiled wontons not a dumpling.
Trish Ng: Great little neighborhood spot now serving delicious sushi in addition to classic Chinese dishes. The best scallion pancakes to start off your meal. The sushi was so fresh and beautifully presented.Vegetarian options: Many options available and they will make special dishes if requestedKid-friendliness: Was quiet and had plenty of room for strollersWheelchair accessibility: Easy accessDietary restrictions: Adjacent table was ordering many gluten free items and they are very accommodating for food preferences and allergies.
James Poteracki: Absolutely incredible food and a good value. I have had their lunch special and thought the price was great for the variety of sides and entree that we got. More importantly the flavors were very well balanced and incredibly tasty. Beautiful atmosphere. I will gladly be coming back often.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Mark St: Still the best Chinese food around. Very nice family own this business. Always happy and smiling
Christopher Pearson (Chris): Got food for a 2nd time here and for the price I wasn't too impressed. Too bad since I heard raving reviews.(I never "ate" any of the 1st order since my roommates devoured it almost instantly when I brought it home)
Josh Denault: Used to order here back when it was Lucky Garden... As far as I can tell, the food is very similar, and that's a good thing. We got the basics: noodles, potstickers, fried rice, beef with broccoli, and some sweet and sour chicken. It was that kinda night. This hit the spot. Will be back on occasion when my wife and doctor allow.
IamCadenz: Great Food. Order efficacy about 98%.If you need a vegan option, General Gao Tofu is my spirit food here. They know me up here as a regular now!Unlike many Chinese restaurants you may request your fried rice cooked without egg and what else you may not eat, diet wise. The food is always fresh and hot. The broccoli for my dish is always fresh and I appreciate them not soaking the broccoli in the sauce and leaving it on the sides 😇 nice and fresh.Always fresh for months of me shopping here. The staff is always friendly to me on the phone and when I've gone in person.I don't suggest using Ubereats to order from them. Support the business directly and order from them.
Eugen Efrim: All good! Just the meat we want a little more tender 👍👍👍
Ephraim Eugene: Poo poo platter was excellent ❤5 stars
Margaret-Ann Simonetta: Someone who loves authentic spicy Asian food, House of Chang and their signature dishes KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK! We’re originally from NY, where we take our Asian food quite serious, and HoC is hands down our favorite in the Boston area. Worth the drive, worth the wait, worth it all!!!

Steve: I ordered san bei tofu and yang chou fried rice for takeout, but wish I would have dined in as it's a very nice room, cozy and tastefully appointed. The tofu dish was great, the rice dish average.
David Ricaud: Fun and classic Chinese restaurant straight out of the 80’s. Spacious and quiet. Roommate and I had a nice three-hour dinner.
Donald: Terrible terrible service. EXTREMELY SLOWcame in at 7, now it’s 8:15pm and we’re still waiting!!!!
Antonio Cardoso: Rude people, I called to order over the phone woman was rude….
Juan Fernandez: Bad attitude from the waitress. I was greeted at the door with "we will be closing in 30 minutes". I'll tell you I'm a chef at an italian restaurant, and I will never in my life greet a customer with "we will close in 30 minutes" remark. Main dishes don't even come with white rice. A solid "will not return" restaurant. The chicken lo-mein doesn't even have chicken. It's a scam of a restaurant. Plus, the restroom smell is gross. The owner told me he has been doing it for 35 years with a rude and unapologetic attitude. Seems that in those 35 years, has not learned how to treat a customer.

Mary Chung Restaurant: what do users think?
TB Chambers: Fond memoriesSad it closedYet all good things must come to an endMay God—Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost—bless you, Mary Chung, and family!
Sean Westgate: Sadly this restaurant is closed permanently from what I understand. We went a couple times in the last month which was December 2022. Farewell Mary and all your workers and family members. Thanks for the good food over the years!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ricky Wat: Delicious
Chris Lahey: If you like spicy food, try the suan la chow show. I don't, so I get wonton soup. So tasty.Update: Mary's is closing Dec 31 2022
Lydia Chew: 🚨 CLOSING SOON (12/31/2022) 🚨They've been a Cambridge Central Square staple for decades but are unfortunately closing shop at the end of 2022. They never reopened for dine in after COVID. I went to check them out, knowing that pretty soon the opportunity would be gone, and I was astonished to hear that the average wait time for orders was upwards of 2 hours. Their kitchen has been incredibly backed up and they don't take orders online or over the phone. I'm not sure if the massive wait is because everyone is trying to eat there before they close, or if this issue has been ongoing throughout the pandemic, but party after party left upon hearing the estimated wait time.I ordered the scallion pancakes. Since it was a simple appetizer, it was ready within the hour. It was indeed pretty good, and it was paired with a very tasty soy sauce. I hadn't had that particular combination before but quite enjoyed it.Vegetarian options: Most of their popular dishes have meat, though they can make some of them in a vegetarian variation.
Charles Griswold: Mary Chungs has always had great food, but sadly Ms Chung is now in her 80s and is closing the restaurant, end of an eraFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Haley Martin: ETA: I’m so sad to hear you’ll be closing down. I will miss you and you will hold a special place in my heart always.Mary Chungs used to be my goto and favorite place in Central. They must've changed a chef or recipes because it's just not the same. I've gotten sesame tofu twice now, hoping it would be better, only to get an extremely watery and oversweet sauce.
Lisa Santoro: Orange beef absolutely terrible. It looks like they peeled an orange and thew the peels into the container. Beef was gray and overcooked.
Grant Barthelmes: I paid $17 and got half of the amount I expected and usually get at Chinese restaurants. Then I open the bag and there’s no rice with the dish either! The quality was only okay.
Nancy Feng: Mary Chungs best restaurant
Passing Stranger: Food was very watery, sauces were extremely bland.
JK Ames: Honestly, this is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Or it was?Refusing dine-in service when pretty much every other single restaurant in the country has reopened is cheap and lazy. It seems clear at this point that they simply don't want to rehire wait staff and it has nothing to do with pandemic concerns.Quality isn't the same for takeout, and for me (I now only visit Boston occasionally - don't live here) basically makes it impossible to enjoy their food.
Annie Brown: Mary Chung's dun dun noodles are the best!
Sonii B: I was in Cambridge visiting my family. My dad wanted some egg foo young which he hadn’t had for awhile. I tried a few restaurants before Mary Chung’s said they could make it. When I picked up my order, I was asked how I knew they had egg foo young since it’s not on the menu…also that their chef can make anything he’s that talented. Guess what? It was the best I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot. I will definitely return.
Audrey Barnes: Mary chungs is the best chinese food in Boston. They are not reopen for dining as it is only run by the couple themselves. Mary has been a staple to the cambridge community for over 30 years. Thank you for staying open!! If your in cambridge you have to stop by for take out.
Veronica Wisniewski: It’s been 30 some Years since I’ve eaten here. So this is a nostalgia review. I now live on the west coast near Richmond BC where you can find Chinese food people travel from Hong Kong for. It’s that good. I’ve never found anything like the Soan la shoa choa and Dun dun noodles served at Mary’s. They were that good. Reviews suggest the recipes and preparation have been passed down. May the legacy continue. I hope that I will someday have the chance again.
Henrik Toncic: Still the best, most flavorful Chinese food anywhere in the vicinity. Their sauces are sublime!!! Dumpling sauce, peanut sauce, duck sauce, everything. Good generals too. Thank you for so many years of consistent quality service.
Eli Hochberg: I ordered a beef dish and soup. The soup had almost no flavor, mostly just hot water and the beef was chewy. The food just overall did not have very much flavor.
Kyle L.: Been going here my entire life, it's still my favorite restaurant, period. Hands down. Enough said.

Dumpling House: what do users think?
Madison Wong: The dumplings were very flavorful and yummy. Only note is that the noodle wrapper was thicker than I would like.
Justina Molloy: Soup dumplings were phenomenal. Also tried leek and pork dumplings, szechuan chicken, and General gaos chicken. Food was served extremely quickly, it was pleasantly surprising. The place was packed which was a good sign. Host and hostess were friendly and attentive.
Erin Karpich: We saw the name, which was similar to a place we used to go to that closed in PA, and we had to try it out. They are a very busy place. Although they run it very well. The place was full with all kinds of people, nice to see, packed wall to wall. We tried the vegetarian spinach and egg dumplings, crispy tofu and the pan fried crispy noodles. The noodles were very crispy but not the tofu. The dumplings were beautiful, green and delicious. I would go back and try other items on the menu that looked and sounded delicious.
Danny Cohen: My favorite Chinese food in Cambridge! I come here at least once a month just to get my soup dumpling fix.
Simi: Ordered a smorgasbord of delicious food on Saturday, we arrived early for dinner (about 5) and already it was getting busy! Jackie Owens: Great dumplings, but also a wide selection of other dishes makes this a wonderful stop if in Cambridge. I went at 3 pm, but service was excellent even in the middle of shift change. I went for the soup dumplings specifically, but would explore most of the menu if I had the chance. Utensils and hand sanitizer are organized and handy for each table.
정신영: We ordered cold jellyfish(해파리냉채), mini soup dumplings with pork(소룡포) and crispy duck.If you're expecting mini soup dumplings like in Din Tai Fung, I don't recommend it. The dumpling skin is thicker and the pork is less juicy. But the Cold jellyfish is delicious. I never thought I would be able to eat this in the US. I will visit here for cold jellyfish.Crispy duck was not what I imagined. What I expect was thinly sliced duck wrapped in wheat cakes with vegetables, that is Beijing duck. However, this duck is a roast duck. But the taste is good.Their name is Dumpling House, but unfortunately the dumplings are the worst.😅
Jim Manning: So lucky to have this in our neighborhood! Good food, but a couple of dishes were disappointing.
G Frye: Their food was great. I liked going there when I lived in Cambridge. When I returned years later, the dishes were more saucy and oily then I remembered. They were busy, but the service was fast. They were able to seat our big party without any wait time on a week night.

Five Spices House: what do users think?
Phạm Đường Thư (Cath): I wanted to try some Chinese noodles soup, so I went to this restaurant. Most of the noodles were with meat, but at that time I only wanted something vegetable, so I asked for the hot and sour soup. The price was cheap (only for $9)! It tasted like an instant pack that I had in Vietnam :))) However, the noodles had too much oil. I love eating the Chinese seasoned soup but oil made me felt uncomfortable. Also, the waitress could barely speak English, so she did not understand what I asked, and I also did not understand what she said. Again, because the price was so cheap, I believe this restaurant is not that bad.

Thoughtful LIfecoach: Best place to go for any Asian products in metro-west area . Excellent customer.
Nicholas Bira: Overall pretty disappointed. Got standard general tso's chicken, and it was really bland. The presentation was nice, but the fry was really hard and unflavored. I ate the spicy peppers directly and barely felt any flavor or burn. Trader Joe's orange chicken has better texture and flavor, and at literally 1/4 of the cost. Also, rice is extra, which seems a bit much when you're paying $18 for an entree. Probably won't go back.
Narinka Guichette: I always go here when I want Chinese food. It is the best one I have ever had in Cambridge. I ordered the Lo mein vegetable noodles and shrimp fried rice. The food is very tasty and they give you enough to fill you up which is nice. If you’re looking for delicious food go to this restaurant.

Shanghai Fresh: what do users think?
Lucy: Pork taste so bad
Jun Dai: Braised port with bean curd knot was as tough as rocks. Not recommended. Nothing to do with Shanghai food. Another cold dish was right from the freezer.
ch 17: Our family of 4 ordered 4 bowls of noodles and several side dishes, plus 2 desserts. It didn't take long for a side dish to come. We also thought it was pretty quick to ship. But I didn't expect that there would be a long wait. The first side dish has already been eaten, and a bowl of noodles came after waiting for a long time. After the child finished eating this bowl of noodles, we waited for the second and third bowls of noodles. What is unacceptable is that I have been waiting for my family to finish eating, and my noodles have not yet come, and no one told me how long I would have to wait. Not a single dessert was served. I didn't wait for my face until the last checkout, and went home hungry.
Hyewon Lim: The restaurant is extremely busy and the table is not clean enough to welcome the customers. These stars are only for the food. The food is great. But the service is the worst ever.Only one waitress covered the whole servings, answering the phones, cleaning the table and floor after customers leave there. The server was calling while our table made an order. So she made a menu mistake but she didn't apologize but argue the responsibility to us. We've charged for the wrong menu.Just go here if you are a food lover, not a people person. Or just try here through uber eats only. The waitress here is very rude and doesn't know how to apologize
Robin Salen: Food was decent but the service was horrible. The waiter was really disrespectful. And he forced us to put a 20% tip by voiding our previous bill…
Rholais Lii: Overpriced artisan dishesVegetarian options: Multiple vegetable optionsFood: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Phuong Nguyen: Very salty dishes. We had Shanghai crispy ducks, Chinese eggplants and fishes. The duck and fish dishes were terribly salty. We had to drink a lot of water during and the whole night later to get over it.Food: 1/5 …More
ZhenYu Hong: Definitely overpriced. The proportion of dish is very small. The rib is hard to chew.
Eric C: Irrelevant menuFood: 1/5 …More
Lisa Rosenfeld: Great food, least efficient delivery in Boston (on many occasions).
Andrew Scott White: Ordered online for two, and they said it will be a 25 minute wait before pick-up. After at least 25 minutes we go to pick the food up. We pay and they said just a moment for our food. It took another 25-30 minutes until our food came out. We asked a couple times about when our food would be ready and they just kept saying our food would come out next. This seemed to happened to all of the people who ordered pick up before us too, as we all watched the dine-in customers get seated and served before us. They supplied no utensils or sauces for the food. However, the food was quite good, but definitely not worth the wait.
Julie Yuan: The waiter can't be more rude. Feels like you were there to inconvenient him and he hated you for that. The restaurant is smelly and food is mediocre. This is the first time I have encountered such a bad service. There was no smiling face the whole time, as if you owed him money. It stinks and the food is not tasty. I don't want to be entangled with this kind of place. I gave a minimum tip of 18%. I will never go back to this place again.
Berk USTA: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Fried Rice, sesame chicken 芝麻鸡More
Hrudya Viswanadh: Ordered Takeout, so can't say much about the restaurant or service. It was well packaged and the food was good. The pork bao buns were soft and filled with pork, but without dipping sauce they can be a little bland.Sesame chicken was the best of all! Perfect balance of flavors. Not too sweet and the chicken was crispy! As for the braised beef noodle soup, it lacked the spice. The menu said it was spicy, but it was more in the bland side. Nothing some chilli Sesame oil can't fix though!
HTA Liu: Mediocre food, poor service, terrible atmosphere, badly overpriced.
bryan wright: Waiter was completely rude and dropped the plate on the table like it was a bother to him. Food was well below average. Will not return
Steve Long: Like other reviews mentioned.....very expensive food for very little proportions. Spare ribs were dry (very hard to chew) i would be embarrassed as chef if i served to anyone, tofu dish was tasteless and noodle dish had a foreign object! Very small establishment.....my man kept bumping aside to get our dishes on the table, we had to ask 3x for ice water. Way overpriced.....We were better off at the foodcourt 1 block over!
Woojoo Na: Szechuan style fried chicken, kung pao chicken, egg and scallion fried rice. Huge portion, and chickens were really good!
Yang Li: It's okay to order takeout since their food is okay. But don't dine in if you don't want to get poor service. The waiter looked inpatient when we were ordering food and ignored my request to bring the check. He stood at the table when we were signing the check. The minimum tip is 18% even for lunch but I don't think this waiter deserves it.
Fenglei Gu: Delicious Chinese cuisines.
Qilin Guo: Food is ok, while the worst service I ever seen

Rajesh Prabhu: Great place if you wanted to try dinner Chinese food. My office is right next to this place and I tried it for the first time. I got the scallop with garlic sauce and some spring rolls. The food was amazing. The brown rice was plain and didn't have any taste. It was empty at around 2pm. Customer service was great and it's in a great location. They have outdoor dining but it's closed for the season I guess. One star less is because of the person who was serving my food was coughing and sneezing and also was not wearing masks. I don't care if you wear masks or not but at least wear a mask if you have a flu during this covid time. I had to rush eating my food and leave the place. Hope my next visit will be better. 🙏🙏🙏
Daniel Suit: Very good and flavorful food here!
A Fan: My group and I enjoyed dining here. We felt welcomed and were not rushed to order immediately. The hostess and staff were warm and helpful explaining parts of the menu that were unclear to us.Do not mistake Royal East restaurant as just a Chinese restaurant. It is only partly Chinese with lots of Malaysian flair.Almost everything that my table and I ordered was delicious and perfectly spiced. The ONLY minus was the chicken curry dish. The chicken was evenly cooked, yet somehow tasted raw. The well-spiced sauce did not and could not cover the raw taste of any of the chicken pieces, which seemed to have not been at all pre-seasoned but just mixed blandly into the sauce. The television playing at the front of the restaurant was a bit distracting and almost took away from the ambiance, but the others at my table totally disregarded it and paid no mind. So, I guess it was just another "me" issue.I'll definitely come back and dine at Royal East for the courteous service, cleanliness, cocktails and delicious food. I'll just skip the chicken menu.Vegetarian options: There's plenty of vegetarian options.
Gordon ck: I from Malaysia but this food not good Flushing better than this store…Very bad
Kelly Cambridgeport: Royal East Restaurant in Cambridge serves Malaysian cuisine with some Cantonese mainstays that were part of the original menu from years back. Back in spring 2022, a large group of 22 people dined at Royal East for $75 each which included taxes and tips. There is no surcharge for the room reserved. On the evening we had dinner, the restaurant was at 20% capacity. The women's bathroom has two stalls of which one had an out-of-order sign. The grand total given to Royal East was $1,650.On the menu were the following items:• Appetizers (Roti Canai, Poh Piah, Halal Chicken Satay)• Bak Kut Teh (Herbal Soup)• Hainanese Chicken (deboned)• Dungeness Crab with Malaysian Chili Sauce• Beef Rendang• Pan Seared Whole Grey Sole Fish in Sambal Sauce• Udang Kelapa (Coconut Jumbo Prawns)• Malaysian Curry Tofu & Vegetables• Kangkung Belacan• Char Kueh Teow• Buh Buh Cha Cha (Dessert)The food was delicious. My issue is the quantity of the food provided to the group of 22, based on the $1,650 given to the restaurant. I have the menu prices and estimate quantities of the food. In many cases, the quantities I noted are a generous estimate on my part:4 Roti Canai 4 x $7 = $284 Poh Pian 4 x $8 = $324 Halal Chicken Satay 4 x $8 = $324 Bak Kut Teh 4 x $8 = $324 Halves of Hainanese Chicken 4 x $18 = $722 Dungeness Crab with Malaysian Chili Sauce 2 x $30 = $60 (high estimate)4 Beef Rendang 4 x $21 = $842 Pan Seared Whole Grey Sole Fish in Sambal Sauce 2 x $21 = $422 Udang Kelapa (coconut shrimp) = 2 x $23 = $464 Malaysian Curry Tofu & Vegetables 4 x $15 = $604 Kangkung Belacan 4 x $15 = $604 Char Kueh Teow 4 x 10 = $4022 Buh Buh Cha Cha (Dessert)-- 22 x $3 = $66 (high estimate)Retail amount of food provided: $654This means the restaurant collected approximately $1,000 for taxes and tips.If you are in a large group, rather than planning a menu with the restaurant, I would recommend making a reservation and then order from the menu once your group arrives at the restaurant. The total cost will be significantly less than if you plan a menu with Royal East. For Udang Kelapa, each person at my table had exactly one piece of broccoli and one shrimp. The Roti Canai was delicious, but two of them per table of 11 wasn't enough to go around. The Poh Piah is a veggie roll filled with steamed jicama and mixed vegetables in a wrap, drizzled with sauces. There were 12 one-inch pieces per table, which meant a small 1-inch piece for each person with one remaining piece per table. No rice was included in the meal which is strange for a menu that is salty and spicy. The restaurant was parsimonious with the quantities given how much it was paid. For $75 per person, we each could have individually ordered 4 or 5 dishes and have enough for taxes and tip.A group member pointed out that he was overcharged for a drink and the server shrugged and said the drink menu prices were outdated. The server had placed one water carafe per table and didn't replenish it until asked.
Ian Goh: One of only 2 Malaysian restaurants I know in the Boston area (the other one is Penang Restaurant)

Jiaqi Duan: Really authentic and innovative Hunan cuisine - one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the US! The cocktails are also creative and tasty. It’s clear that much thought was put into every dish and drink.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Derek Thomas: Very very good place to have a lunch. Stylish environment and great food. Service was excellent too. I typically order very spicy food, do take their heat scale seriously. It’s as spicy as they say. I will be back!

Thomas Brady: Attended a private function here. The room was private, but still attached to the sounds of the restaurant. The waiters were attentive but not obtrusive. Dishes were passed around. Food was delicious.Parking: After 5 PM lots of street parking opens up in the surrounding two block area.
Michael Cerqueira: Very decent food and great spices. Recommended
Leopoldo Gracia: Delicious food and the place is cute, but definitely on the pricey side
Liz Guo: Best Hunan restaurant in town. Flavor is great and ingredients are fresh. My fav is Sumiao Tofu pot.
Paul L: Very authentic food!
Yanran Xu: Not bad! The crispy duck is delicious!
Han J (HJ): If I could give 0 stars I would. As a frequent customer to the place through online ordering, I found the food quality has been dropping recently. Especially, last night me and my boyfriend had dinner there, and then after we came home, both of us started to develop serious food poisoning symptoms like diarrhea and stomachache and therefore a sleepless night due to that. Bonus: there was a dead cockroach lying on the window mullion right next to me.
S K: Good experience.
Dan M: Got the dine out boston menu here this week. Although good portions and delicious food. 2 points off because I asked for mild chicken and my GF wanted spicy and they swapped them. Thankfully I can eat spicy but imagine if I couldn’t. Service was fair as well. I’ve come here before years ago when they opened and found it to be overly spicy as well. I realize it’s the style of cuisine however I asked for mild and my mouth was on fire — you can see the leftover chilis in my bowl once I put the rest of the chicken in my to go box.

Ivan Ang: It will be hard to find a place that has more authentic Mala Hunan food. For the real Hunan Chinese experience ask your server for "authentic spice" and send your taste buds on a trip round the worldFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Marek Michalak: Went as a part of Dine Out Boston. We ordered shrimp shumai (decent by a bit bland in taste) and spicy cucumber (more sweet tha spicy) as starters, their golden soup and the hot and sour soup (both were ok). The best part of the Dine Out menu were entrées - we got the popcorn chicken and the spicy cauliflower. We chose the cauliflower to be “authentic” spicy and the chicken to be “regular” spicy, but they seemed to be mixed up as the spiciest was definitely the chicken so look out for that! We also ended up waiting for rice a bit longer than expected, while the main dishes were already at the table. Conclusion - while the entire menu is long and can be a bit overwhelming, there are definitely some good dishes to be had there, but not everything is on the same level.
Yvonne Yang: Dine out Boston special lunch menu. Very delicious. Reasonable price.
Min Cheng: The cocktail was great. The atmosphere was great too. Food was okay. For the prices, I had higher expectationsFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Dumpling Xuan: what do users think?
J Cha: A Hidden Gem that I wish I only knew for myself. If you are looking for high quality authentic chinese food, Dumpling Xuan is for you.My boyfriend and I have tasted the best and cannot go back to other chinese restaurants nearer to us.I highly recommend the peking duck and yang chow fried rice. The duck is cooked to perfection. Perfect seasoning, tender meat that melts in your mouth, and crispy rich skin. Wrap the crunchy juicy duck with little bit of sliced leak and cucumbers and top it with the brown sauce and there you have it. You tasted heaven. You can determine how skilled the chef is by how he cooks the fried rice. As you can see from the picture, that is textbook. Each rice should be fluffy and separate, glistening but not greasy. That masterpiece is what guarantees that the rest of the menu will be cooked to perfection.I would like to keep this place for myself but I will share this recommendation/ review for the greater good.Enjoy.
Patrick Neckermann: Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 2/5More
Ali & Stéphanie Makupal: All the food was great, with the scallion pancake beef rolls with spicy peppers being especially excellent.
Kenny K. Tran: Review for take out of Peking duck. Our 4 year old had that for dinner and vomited it all out later that night and had stomach issues the next day. Must have been old batch of duck. Recommend to use fresher poultry.
Michael Fournier: The scallion pancake (beef role) was great and I like tripe/tendon. It was cooked very well and the staff is friendly. The beef role is like a scallion pancake, rolled and slice on its side, with a beef filling. Strongly recommend.Recommended dishes Scallion Pancake Beef Roll, Dumpling …More
Sean McGreevy: Excellent food. Welcoming atmosphere. The owner Mei is very nice.
Bernise Luzincourt: 100,000,000/10 would recommend. I wish I have 2 stomachs to eat more. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! I'm shocked there's no lines out the door. It was phenomenal the flavor was so good! Good quality dim sum.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Wings, Scallion Pancake Beef Roll, Fried, Steam Dumpling with Vegetables 素蒸饺, Dumpling, Sauce …More
Tiffany Lewis: First-time ordering from here and got the Shanghai Noodles with Pork and Thai bubble tea. Both were awesome! The noodles were delivered hot and tasty, pork was super tender, too.
Steve McAveeney: Great authentic Chinese food. The owner, Mei, is nice and very welcoming to my family. Highly recommended.Recommended dishes Dumpling …More
Jesse Boyd: We had soup dumplings, spicy beef scallion pancake, and Taiwanese dumplings. All delicious and the staff were really nice. Very clean inside. We'll be going there again.
Sarah Smith: Better than your standard Chinese American fare. Excellently spiced Dan Dan and string beans! Best Jasmine I've ever had. If you order regular American Chinese that's what you'll get (house fried rice was very ordinary). but the more expensive items are a more gourmand experience.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Mark Whickman: Very enjoyable, absolutely melt in the mouth braised pork belly.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Fried Rice, Dumpling …More
cp: This place is off the charts, I've been here several times and it never disappoints. They take pride in everything they do, right down to the smallest of details. Egg drop soup? Usually it's an afterthought. Here it's rich, velvety, complex, and filling. Every dish is executed with the utmost care. Staff is pleasant, helpful, and efficient. By far my favorite Chinese restaurant -- EVER!
Yi Yang: The spicy hot pot is delicious 😋
Donna Hersey: Got the vegetable dumplings because Zoey’s was closed. Considering the name I thought they’d be great. Nah mushy
Scott Sullivan: Amazing soups and dumplings. Nothing has disappointed in the slightest on any trip. The service is always stellar and the sizes are perfect.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
David Yonan: The food here was nice, service was efficient and friendly, the prices were reasonable.I saw other reviews and there was a delicious looking noodle dish, but I didn't want noodle and got the ox tail soup. It was delicious, but pretty Spartan. I also ordered some Bok Choy which I promptly added to the soup. The "soup dumplings" were nice, although the "skin" was a little thicker, it meant they split easily and spill everywhere. For the price, I was happy. I would eat here again.
