Chelsea Kendall: This is one of my very favorite stores. The products are high quality with fun and interesting scents: I especially enjoy the cedar sage shampoo, the frankincense and myrrh body butter, and the lavender rosemary solid lotion bars. They take care to only sell products they believe in and which they are confident don't have any harmful ingredients. Plus the staff are super friendly, nonjudgmental, and happy to help with tricky items. Overall, a great store with an important mission!

Albert Gnadt: You fill up your own bottles with personal cleaning products, and they even have some donated containers for the taking. Naturally I chose to get shampoo in an oregano spice bottle, that way I can crank up the water temperature, shake it onto my head, & wiggle my arms to pretend I'm a fancy Italian dinner in the shower.

A lady nicely asked about conditioner recommendations to which she responded "um ya I mean they're all good" as if it wasn't worth her time. Towards us she was freaking out about us having mask which is no longer required but fine if they prefer that, so we asked for masks she hesitated about giving us them and then just said she'll grab whatever we need so we don't come in (what in the world, as if we aren't even welcome in the store) then she gives me one and practically throws the mask at my sister and it ends up falling on the ground and she sarcastically says "oh sorry" when she did it on purpose just to be conniving! We will never be back because of her horrible attitude!

All their products are high quality, unpretentious and useful - you don't feel like they are pushing junk on customers for the sake of profit. Yes, maybe their products are a little more expensive than standard grocery store products, but this is not the fault of Cleanland - organic products cost more to produce, and compared to other organic household products, I've found that Cleanland is actually less expensive. Love that they are making low waste accessible for all. Wonderful store and owner.

Can be a bit pricey compared to buying standard products at a chain grocery, but good to support local shop owners and a great mission.You can bring your cleaned jars and bottles in for them to repurpose for other customers and bring your own for refill (or purchase one there).

I love being able to bring my own containers (and that there are upcycled containers for people to use too) and they've got a great selection of really well-selected brands. I first tried HiBar shampoo/conditioner bars from a recommendation here and now swear by them. And I love the dish soap blocks too. A great spot in the community.

Charles McKenzie: This is one of the two low waste shops I've heard about in the Boston area (I haven't visited the other yet) and my experience both visits was pleasant. I heard about Cleenland from the newsletter I get from my compost service.The first time I stopped by just to check the place out. I somehow lost my mask (they weren't required anymore at the time but better to be safe i think!) on the bike ride there (COVID life, right?) and they had extras which I appreciated! Staff is pretty friendly; had a good conversation. I explored their inventory and ended up picking up a few items. They've got a decent variety of home and personal care products with minimal packaging. As you would expect of a low waste shop, for most liquid products, you bring your own container. If you don't have a container they've got jars available just in case!I stopped by a second time for a shampoo bar and found one I might like. They explained that they're working with a small business to get shampoo bars that work well for black hair (the struggle, haha) and asked if I could share my experience with them after using the one i bought so they could stock things that work well and people like. We'll see how that goesA good place to visit if you're on or considering the low waste path!

Not just China, but kitchen tools, kitchen essentials, cutting boards, coffee machines, glassware, containers, large pots, quality knives, etc. They also pack your items for you. I just love the place and its large space.

The contractor who did the installation (Mike) was also very efficient and professional. The turnaround is very quick (~5 weeks) and the quality of the final product is great.

Allison K was absolutely wonderful to make things right when they didn’t have what I ordered and Pras was THE MAN fitting a huge pick up order all in my car so I didn’t have to make a second trip!!! Kudos to both of them!!!!

Gina Stenhouse: This is literally the best Container Store. Exceptional customer service and should be a model for other stores. I am pregnant and I had a dedicated staff member assist me in my selections and carry them out to my car. I called another day to figure out which product I saw on display in the store and another staff member went to see what it was and provided me with the sku so I could order it. I have now spoke to 3 separate individuals on 3 separate occasions and each time I am blown away with their willingness to go above and beyond.

antoinette rodney-celestine: Not sure what to make of my visit yesterday afternoon. I recently purchased a new house and was looking for things to organize my place. I had purchased something online for in store pick up so I decided to check out in person what else was available in store while I was there. I was greeted by several staff members throughout my visit asking if I needed help. That was great. But, there was one employee that asked me if I needed help and I said, no. Later on while I continued to go through the aisles she approached me again after I passed by her chatting with one of her co-workers in one the aisles. She said, Do you need any help with anything? I said, no. And then I wondered why she was asking me again. So, I said, "You asked me that already." And then she said, "Yes, but you have been here for a while." I responded, "Yes, I am going down each aisle." I continued shopping but that interaction disturbed me. I didn't know there was a time limit on shopping at the container store. What makes this interaction strange to me, is that after she asked me the first time whether I needed help and I said, no. She saw me multiple times while I was going down the aisles. If I wanted help we both knew that she was within close distance of me. It seemed like she was suspicious of me because I was taking my time going through the aisles. Not a welcoming experience.

Unfortunately, I've been SO dissatisfied with service ...Staff not skilled, they are don't even know how to use a computer!!Well, I won't go there anymore.

While trying to organize the mess that is my shoe closet, I ran to the Chestnut Hill location... only to find there were no more shoe organizers (the specific ones I was searching for) on the shelves... but the team did not stop until they searched high and low in the stock room! Heather Thistle: I called on a Friday afternoon at 4:40 and the woman that answered the phone told me they may not have a rental available for Saturday but she would call me back. Within 5 minutes she called me back to schedule my Saturday drop off. The dumpster arrived before noon on Saturday. During the week I phoned the company to ask about specific items and whether or not they were allowed in the dumpster she promptly called me back and let me know the status of my items.I feel AGAINST all of the reviews that I have read, but this company was amazing, professional and definitely responsive. 5 stars!!!!Service:Dumpster rental

hua Fang: I used their service for roof debris. they gave me a price on phone call, when they come back to pick up the dumpster first time, the truck is too small and can't load the dumpster. then price went up double without weighting the container and need I paid it first. I paid it. several days later, they came back again to pick up the container, but they still send the small truck and can't pick up it again. they charged several hundred again and do nothing. then they require me to remove some roof debris out of the container (Actually the dumpster is only half full) I have to hired two guys to put some roof debris into the trash bag and took then out, (total 43 bags, more than 3000lbs). the third time they come to pick up the dumpster and finally delivery it. but left me 43 bag trash on my driveway. This time they required the fourth check and I refused. one month later, they send me a bill. I called back to this company. but the front desk and boss were both so rude. I complained the case, but they don't care. and several years later today they send me another bill plus 2% monthly later fee. It's more than thousand bill again. this company is really trash company. if there is a zero star review, this company owns it.Service:Construction debris removal
