Shira Frager: Decided to drop in on my way home from work for the first time. There were a lot of great supplies but bad customer service. I asked the employee for help and initially he came over to point me in the right direction, but upon approaching the front with follow-up questions, I noticed *both* employees were on their phones- I asked for help, hoping I could get clarity on measurements of the items. The employee handed me a ruler and proceeded his phone activities. Very unprofessional. I walked right out.

Jenna Sunshine: Love this place. Dishes, glasses, house wares, utensils, party supplies... The list goes on. One of my personal favorites to get there is unique bowls of all different sizes from different countries that are painted in bright colors.
Dan M: China Fair is such a great spot outside Porter Square! So many affordable kitchenwares and gadgets. Lots of things I didn’t know I need. The basement is a little sketchy but great prices and especially comes in handy before the holidays or after moving into a new spot!

Tom Gould: It's an eclectic store. Great for inexpensive glassware and china, kitchen tools, plastic storage, and for paper goods and plasticware for parties. May it live forever! Not open on Sundays most of the year.
Laurie Singletary: Great spot that has been there forever for excellent prices on kitchenware. Also an excellent selection of party plates, etc.
George Nelson: Amazing. You have to appreciate this place for what it is. If you come here with high expectations of getting everything on your shopping list you may be disappointed but otherwise it’s a great place to shop. The cast iron selection is excellent! Good selection of glasses and other random table wears.

Adeline Sire: In this day and age it is lovely to find a mom-and- pop store--and a giant one at that--that sells fairly priced items for every day use. Not just China, but kitchen tools, kitchen essentials, cutting boards, coffee machines, glassware, containers, large pots, quality knives, etc. They also pack your items for you. I just love the place and its large space.

Robert Swenson: Staff is very helpful. Store has more than you can browse in a day, covering woodworking, carving, drawer and cabinet hardware, and resin casting.I don't live nearby, so I try to stop in whenever I am in the area. Really great place.
Sinan Goknur: I took two workshops so far, Eric’s cuttingboard class and Palo’s kumiko course, both were excellent, highly recommend. If you like to work with hand tools only, don’t miss kumiko!

erica redner: I went in not really knowing how to describe what I had and didnt take a good picture, but I had the old hinge (no longer made and was broken). I felt really dumb because what should have been an easy fix was, in fact, a mess. The gentlemen who helped me were awesome. I showed them the old hinge and described the cabinet door and placement. They told me what I needed was no longer made, but showed me the newer way of doing it and how to install it. I finally got around to doing it. Cabinet fixed!
