Vester: what do users think?
Angela Krieg: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Sara Modiano: I tried the asian smoked salmon salad which was good, but a bit pricey. There is generally not enough seating at this location, but I would like to try other menu items.
Waseem Kawaf: Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Jade B: I have enjoyed the tuna melt at Vester many times but I’m frustrated that the service/value has gotten worse. I think it used to cost $1 to add tomato, then there was no option to add anything and now they took away the homemade potato chips all while increasing prices. They opened a second location in this timeframe…
Shiran Soholitsky: The coffee is great, there's a lot of unique different flavors.I didn't eat there, only a chocolate chip cookie (that was really good). It's a little noisy for people who want to come and work, but it's a really nice place to sit for coffee and grab some breakfast.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Isabelle Lippincott: Had the best turkey sandwich + americano for lunch and even better service! One of the managers, Chris, chatted to me about coffee beans and their flavor - he was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. The green goddess sandwich had delicious fresh pesto and exceeded my expectations for a quick lunch stop. 5/5 stars for the quality of ingredients and excellent service!
T A: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Melody S: I've gone here a couple of times now and I've thought it's about time to leave a review. I always get a yinyang (half drip half hk milk tea) with lavender and this place is one of the only where I can actually taste the lavender! Their food is also really fresh, but I've only gotten itonce.
Kelly McElligott: Great breakfast sandwich and delicious cookie butter latte with oat milk. Cute cafe and friendly staff!
C Calm: Breakfasts are great and tasty, but a bit expensive. Try their toast with egg, avocado, and smoked salmon. Also their cold pressed orange juice. It is a good place for lunch too. I love their tomato soup which comes with a toast. Not super happy with their tuna melt, though I am a fan of tuna melt in general. Also I wish some measure of calories in their foods is announced. Sometimes the toasts seem greasy.
Pedro Colón: Arguably the best coffee/lunch spot in the area. The prosciutto croissant, the coffee and the staff are great!! It is a bit expensive but worth it.Recommended dishes Croissant, Prosciutto …More
Emily N: The prices are crazy high, getting decaf coffee is weirdly difficult, and they can be slow, but man, their avocado toast is amazing. It has some secret magic ingredients that I can't replicate at home, I swear.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Avocado Toast …More
Sarah Lu: Local cafe with a sophisticated ambience. The drink offerings are diverse and unique. The chicken caprese sandwich was delicious. The matcha latte was okay but not a stand out. A bit pricey but a nice place to stop by and meet up with friends.
Samantha Gutiérrez: Vester is the place where we come as a group from MIT at least once a week. Their Chai and Matcha latte can not be beaten, and the cashier’s even know my name! Also, nothing like the croissant prosciutto + egg sandwich !Recommended dishes Croissant, Prosciutto …More
Erin Mulcahy: This has quickly become our favorite breakfast spot here in Kendall. For the past two visits, Chris has helped us to order and throughout our visit. He gets every detail right—even when we are asking for quads, changing milk, adding syrups, he always gets it all! The past two times our food came out before our drinks, which is awesome since we were so hungry. But Chris went the extra mile to walk our drinks to our seats so we didn’t have to leave our hot breakfasts. We appreciate all the staff at Vester and will be returning again soon!
Coby Lee: Beautiful coffee, amazing pastries and stunning interior. A calm environment surrounded by ambient noise, perfect for a solo date or with friends. Went twice in one day because of this!
Andrew Spencer: Great coffee and food - particularly the toasts! A little bit of Copenhagen in Cambridge
Traci Jovančević: Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Emma Chory: Best latte in Kendall! Vanilla bean latte is absolutely delicious. The staff are amazing— the customer service is bar none! Chris learned our names the first time we visited and always double checks on all the customers. Food is excellent- brioche egg and cheese breakfast sandwich is a fave. I’m also addicted to their rice crispy treats— especially the flavors Cinnamon Toast Crunch, fruity pebbles, and cap n crunch. Highly recommend everything on the menu.
lila aronoff: I have tried every cafe in Kendall Square and countless in Cambridge, and VESTER is my absolute favorite. The others seem to just exist so I don't get sick of it (if that is even possible). Everything is amazing and they always get the ingredient ratio right. Their lattes are actually hot which is a huge problem at other places - who wants a lukewarm latte? Their food is satisfying and energizing but not heavy. I would gladly eat anything on the menu but my favorites are the veggie breakfast burrito and tuna melt. The vanilla bean latte is the perfect amount of sweetness!

Revival Cafe+Kitchen: what do users think?
Sammy Shalaby: Haven't been disappointed by anything I've ordered from here. Delicious and vital to the local community here in Alewife
Lenny Mendicino: What a great neighborhood gem! Each and every component they use to prepare these crafted menu items taste fresh as though straight from the farmers garden. Bread items are carb heaven, the biscuits, French rolls, sweet potato bread, etc. Yes please! The service above all rest, make this a go to each and every time. Friendly staff that are passionate about the food/ selections. Thank y'all!
Jessica P: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Patricia: I came here reminiscing about Crema and fond memories in that old cafe. I got a delicious and healing ginger steamer to help with my allergies and the nostalgic English muffins with homemade strawberry jam. There is much seating space, decorated with plants. Good background music selection, friendly and helpful staff, and a vibrant yet comfortable atmosphere.
Rami Farawi: There is a 5% “hospitality charge” if you want to sit down with your order (as opposed to to-go), but you have to pick up your coffee when they yell your name, then you have to put away your own dish in the bin. What’s the fee for then? Then there’s of course the tip they ask for too. Staff doesn’t leave from behind the counter. Doesn’t seem like “hospitality” to me. Just give me the water bill too while you’re at it.
Christopher Russo: One of the best breakfast sandwiches I ever had! A great place to start your morning right!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5 …More
Bal Kang: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lotMore
Daria Radulescu-Banu: by far best cafe / breakfast spot in the greater Boston area. NEVER disappointed. The crispy eggplant sandwich is to die for!!!!Recommended dishes Crispy Eggplant …More
Gwyneth Martin: My coworker and I hosted a private event here and it went phenomenally! The owner, Alec, was very easy to work with prior to the event and extremely friendly with our guests throughout the duration of the event. The staff working the event were also extremely friendly and accommodating. The venue is very cute and aesthetically pleasing. There were a lot of options for gluten-free and vegan options for food which was much appreciated. Overall, we had a very successful event and we will definitely be using Revival Cafe & Kitchen again in the future.
Nathan Lowry: Best coffee in the Cambridge area and excellent service.
Matt Bemis: Recommended dishes SandwichMore
Aaron Tayte (Tayte): I wanted to love this spot, but honestly was a tad underwhelmed. The Golden Crema Latte was about $5-6 USD but was loaded with a little too much cinnamon/spices and had no real taste beyond that. The "Ms. Sweet Potato" wrap (about $10) was also disappointing. It needed some gorgonzola cheese, extra dressing, avocado - anything to help it feel more unique and satisfying. It was essentially just a cold potato + some greens thrown into a wrap. The atmosphere/music also left something to be desired.Great service, though!Parking: A parking lot is available at the back of the building.
Esat Gok: Better version of StarbucksFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Sarah Marie: Any hot food comes out saturated in grease, but there are a few decent things on the menu. However, recently they have added a 5% junk fee on top of their already increased prices, and I'm over it.
Hrudya Viswanadh: Absolutely love this place! We go there more often than we should, but we just can't help it.Love their coffee and sandwiches. Try their Crispy Eggplant Sandwich and any of their seasonal lattes! My absolute favorite is their housemade almond butter. Simply delicious!
Raymond D. Crookes: One of my go to restaurants! Great breakfast, lunch, and pastries.

Cicada: what do users think?
Al L.: Recommended dishes Charred EggplantMore
Alex Khitrik: Delicious food and great vibe. Nice outdoor seating that even includes a sand area where kids could play. Lots of interesting furniture and fixtures.Had the spicy salmon bahn mi and it was fantastic. Great variety of drinks beyond coffee too.Make sure to come before 3pm. I think if you arrive before 3pm you can continue eating and enjoy the space even while they are closed till 5pm, just can't order more.
Hassana: One of the few places in Boston worth eating at. Delicious creative food. It gets really busy so the service isn't always fast or polite but I take that as a good sign of how on demand the place is that the wait staff is a bit overwhelmed. They have some great vegetarian options and the drinks were good. It's a bit pricey though, but I guess they have to pay rent
Francesca Gordini: Hands down the best cafe in Cambridge and surroundings!Vietnamese coffee is also much better than the typical coffee offered in most places: finally a cafe where I can comfortably order coffee that isn't too acid to the taste and can be drank black! That's a big win!!First: the ambience is warm and cozy. The choice of jazz music makes it extremely special and provides a very comforting setting: it keeps good company while not being intrusive or distracting if you're stopping by to read and study.A big hit on nice days is their hidden patio! It offers different seating options and is just as exquisite as the inside.Second: food is exquisite. I particularly love the black rice bowls in all their combinations. Wine list is expansive for such a small place and it offers a nice selection of items that are quite researched.Third: service is typically extremely polite. Be mindful, it's a cafe not a restaurant so you're supposed and encouraged to do some of the service leg-work, such as cleaning after yourself. I don't mind such policy, and it confers a good level of responsibility to the patrons. Again, it's a café, not a restaurant.I'm bummed that some of the food options have been reserved for dinner only but I can imagine the reasons behind that and will live with that choice, although I hope they'll find some middle ground for those in the future.
Minh Ta: Great Viet vibe with authentic Viet fusion foods. Some dishes are made with non-traditional ingredients (sashimi & smoked salmon for example), but the taste remains true and very authentic. For coffee, you can’t go wrong with a sea salt shaker! The owners and staffs are super helpful and friendly. Cicada will be my go-to for coffee, great food, and good vibe.
April P.: We dine in during lunch time. Food is good, ordered cured Salmon sandwich and cooked salmon pho salad. Like the sauce! Four star for the food! Not too much options for lunch though. But still interested to try their dinner menu.Casual place and the room is little packed when huge groups come in for ordering. Hope they can improve the flow for ordering process (but this kinda a CAM popular small places general problem. )
Gcc C: I had trouble understanding how that 4.6 average came about. The food was ok but apart from that, everything was terrible. The "sea salt" drink was wayyyyy toooo sweet while you can't taste any sea salt. The vibe is worse than a college cafe with college kids being over excited and yelling all the time. The restaurant was tiny and the seats were sooooo small. You also saw notice everywhere telling you all the do's and don'ts. Their favorite is "you need to bus your dishes" and not only was that written everything, They told me in my face too. Besides, you also need to order and pick up your food. Basically, you get zero service but you are still expected to tip. Staff was busy chichatting while people wait in line outside in the rain. I totally get the same condescending feel that other people wrote about these staff. In short, I regret going there. I could have gone somewhere else and had a much more decent experience.I WILL CERTAINLY NOT COME BACK!
AISHWARYA SRIVASTAVA: Recommended dishes Vegan Eggplant, Spicy Salmon Bahn MIMore
Todd Holmes: Tried out Cicada after listening to its WGBH interview 3/28/23. Amazing cold salted iced coffee and its pho salmon salad bowl were very delicious. The menu is very reasonably priced. Plus it’s a block from Central Square T, so it’s easy for the out of town MBTA commuters to get to.
Sabrina Boutselis: Recommended dishes Pho Noodle Salad and Sea Salt ShakerMore
Joseph Eun: Great coffee and a simple but excellent menu. Absolutely recommend the baked salmon pho noodle salad - the seasoning was light and flavorful and great to have with the cicada latte.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Phở Salad, Spicy Salmon Bahn MI …More

Yaritza Pena: UPDATE: I returned to Cicada and had a much more pleasant expereince this time around. The staff was warm and handled the busy crowd very well. I got to taste the cured salmon and duck confit banh mi which were both great. But the highlight of my morning was their coconut cream brioche - YUM! It was absolutely perfect - not too sweet and not skimpy on the cream. I look forward to trying their other tasty looking pastries - especially their passionfruit tart. Throwing another star up since my last visit.______________I was so excited to eat here, but the barista was so rude we just grabbed a coffee and left. I look forward to trying again another day - hopefully with another barista. The iced Sea Salt Shaker coffee was delicious though!
Lan Đậu: Expected more from the price point but was kinda disappointed by the mediocre quality from the limited selection. The duck confit broth was too salty and bánh phở was fresh but lumped together cause it wasn’t blanched beforehand. The sea shaker coffee I had was too sweet. It’d be better if there is someone who understands the ingredients quality checking dishes before they get pushed out.
Constance Chien: Just OK. Not worth the wait. Smug and pretentious servers. Service is nonexistent because it’s all counter service, so you have to run up back and forth to get food and plates and napkins. It took me 5 minutes just to get a paper bag to take my sandwich to go, and the servers seemed extremely annoyed at me the entire time even though I was just quietly waiting.Food is just OK. There are plenty of places with better Vietnamese food all over the city.I see the reviews about abusive management. Not surprised. The vibes of this place are off.
Al Khalil: I have been rooting for this place since it opened and have been a regular living right around the corner. Their prices are a little high but I wanted to support a local small business. However, the owner is a bit of a jerk. I asked for change for a dollar, then he gave me a hard time in front of other customers asking me why I needed change. Then he told me they didn't have change without looking and being a bit smug. I went to wholefoods across the street and got change without issue. I won't be coming back. I also own small businesses and am surprised that they think it's a good idea to be so rude to customers.
Waseem Kawaf: Great locally owned cafe with good vibes and excellent service.

A4 Cafe: what do users think?
Jake Ramirez: The wife and I love pizza and wanted to try this place based on the other reviews. She had a small cheese, and I had a small pepperoni, ham, and bacon, and we couldn't say enough good things about how everything tasted. We ordered garlic knots as well, and they, too, were delicious. I ordered an Allagash White belgian style wheat to go with the pizza, and that hit the spot as well. Service and atmosphere fit the mood. Took our leftovers back to our hotel and ended up finishing our pizzas a little while later. We will be coming back next time we are in the Boston area.
Ronnie Mcd: pies are just ok. don’t get why they need to burn the crust so much. cafe is nice tho
Ananda Mishra: The pizzas were great. Would also definitely recommend their Brussel sprout salad. Good selection of beverages. The ambience brings more vibe to the place. Perfect for hang out and chill with friends.
Dario Camacho: It was a very pleasant experience! It was beyond my expectations, the pizza is fantastic, the Asian salad unique, the wings were deliciously hot and the beers were great! This is a place for family and friends and very close to the heart of Cambridge, MIT is around the corner, the patio is wonderful specially during the hot days and I will recommend it with my closest ones. The mood was very nice and the staff gave us a top service, just like a king!Very satisfied and definitely coming back again! Margarita Pizza omg! Very delicious!
Patricia Jibben: We dined in and had a reservation. My absolute favorite pizza is the mushroom with fontina cheese. Best pizza in Boston area.Recommended dishes Mushroom & Fontina …More
Judit Agràs Masdeu: delicious🤩 although they don’t have gluten free options for pizza

Sarah Wang: Coffee shop has an excellent vibe and the employees are so kind! I tried their banana bread and turkey sandwich. The turkey sandwich was excellent, and I loved the bagel it came on! Will definitely be back for lunch. Unfortunately, wi-fi is poor, so not the best cafe for working.
star star: One of the more popular pizza restaurants in the area, Area 4 offers a wide variety of pizzas with both classic and fun toppings. Service is excellent, and restaurant is very casual, generally noisy, with larger parties (not a good pick for date night, but good for going out with friends or hosting some event).Pizzas are good, but definitely very American-style. Don't expect thin crust or anything different, just classic thick crust pizza. I've been here on a couple occasions, and I'd say that out of all the pizzas I've tried, my favorite was the roasted fall squash. The appetizers are pretty good, especially the brussel sprout salad, which is nothing short of divine. Garlic knots are overhyped, as is the mac.The prices are a bit heavy (around 18 for a pizza with some more standard toppings), and I wouldn't say the food quite justifies it, but it's not a bad choice to satisfy a pizza craving.
Eoin Kenny: Probably the most reasonably-priced coffee shop around the area and some nice pastries.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Christian Samayoa: Went here for the first time for dinner and drinks on a weeknight. The waitress, Ksenia, was very attentive, friendly, and gave us good recommendations for food and drink. She recommended the Sherry-Maple bacon pizza and the prosciutto americano pizza, and both were tremendous. The GM, Joe, also came by our table and constantly made sure everything was good. Excellent service and delicious food!

Luke F: Pizza was perfectly cooked and tasted great. Sat at the bar and service was fast and polite.
Vasudha Sarawgi: We got the large prosciutto pie for take away and I asked the team to pack the arugula for the pizza in a separate container so that they would not wilt. The team went above and beyond. All the toppings were packed separately and they did not cut the pizza so I could reheat it easily. The hot honey is delicious I could bathe in it. Unfortunately no photos as the pizza was consumed too quickly. Definitely one of my favorite pies.
David Paligora: Great placeKid-friendliness: Very kid-friendlyFood: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mac & Cheese …More
Sophia Seliger: hawaiian pizza is so goodRecommended dishes Hawaiian Pizza …More
Ryan Turcotte: For brunch we love the Hot Mess a skillet dish you won’t find anywhere else with potatoes, cheese, bacon, sausage and eggs that comes out hot and steamy.I’d like to add the Belgian Waffle to my favorite list. Sweet, the outside is charred but soft on the inside. Mint, caramel, apple and a homemade whipped cream top it off.
