Vitali Vashkevich: The quality of medical care was decent, hence 2 stars.The billing is how they rob people blind. I've provided my insurance information in advance and I was told nothing was outstanding before, during, or immediately after the visit - haven't even told me about the co-payment!They have followed up with the unnecessary procedures and billed me for all of them. In the end they send you a bill later with "PAY NOW!" terms and conditions. I ended stuck with the bill for MOST of my charges out of pocket even with my insurance plan.Bill too high? Don't worry - they can put you on the payment plan:"We understand that medical bills may be difficult to pay and do not want cost to be a barrier to you receiving healthcare. If you would like to set up a short or long term, no-interest payment plan."

Amery Burnham: I love my doctor here but even calling for an appointment often takes 20 minutes and can take more (I am currently 14 minutes on hold to speak to someone for an appointment). I also find appointments are often booking out 3 months ahead, so be warned. I had an urgent matter once and the staff either did not inform the doctor or there simply was not room in the schedule and I had to go somewhere else. Another time, however, the doctor had left word that they should prioritize my follow-up and they did; if you have something urgent it is likely the only way to get an appointment is to use the online site and reach out to your doctor directly.

Michael Fournier: I have been there twice and while I have great doctors and medical assistants, the front desk office is terrible. I will say Brianne was very helpful and competent, but there were major structural problems with how the front office works. They need more training and there needs to be more privacy. I could hear phone calls to patients with there full names and details. Also, there was a billing problem and they collected my copay after the appointment and not before. I apparently forgot to pay last year or they were having "training issues" and my appointment was dropped, but no one told me about the appointment or that a $25 copay went to collections! Really!?!?!

Lisa Ferretti: Bottom line: Dr. Raynam is great. Dermcare's corporate bureaucracy sucks. Details below if you want them.Dr. Raynam and the rest of the staff at Cambridge and the main location are friendly and thorough. I never felt rushed. All my concerns were addressed in a knowledgeable and respectful manner. Protocols are in place for staff and patient safety during this pandemic time.My dislikes:1) My appointment was made 6 months in advance. They immediately sent me a thick envelope of forms and information, which of course was misplaced long before the appointment happened. It would be better to send out these packets two weeks before an appointment. I scrambled to download and print the forms from the website on a friend's printer. On the day of my appointment, no one asked for them or for my insurance card; they seemed surprised when I handed them over. So why bother sending them at all?2) It would be soooo much better to be able to call the Cambridge staff directly instead of going through an alternate site. In the confirmation call a few days before my appointment, I had been told not to enter the building, but to call the main site when I arrived. On the day of the appointment it was a cold winter day and I came by bus so I had to wait outside in the cold. I called...was put on hold...eventually spoke to a staff person, who told me I could wait in the lobby. Such a ridiculous production.3) EDIT: I have since switched to a different doctor at a more convenient location, totally unconnected to Dermcare. I cancelled my Dermcare appointment through the website two months before the followup appointment they had made for me. Yet two days before that cancelled appointment, I received an appointment confirmation text.Dr. Raynam should quit Dermcare and open her own office.

Nancy Carlson: Dr. Raynham is a skilled and compassionate clinician. Her staff is friendly and caring. My first appointment in December was canceled but no one let me know. The person on the phone rescheduled me for March. When I let Dr. Raynham know about this, she rescheduled me for the next week. I would highly recommend this practice, but check to be sure your appointment is when it is scheduled, even if confirmed.

Richard Hassinger: First visit went smoothly and well. Staff were welcoming, efficient, and thorough. I received treatment recommendations and had all my questions answered clearly.

GE Torres-yap: Very friendly staff. I saw Dr Raynham give an excellent and understandable lecture about distinguishing between cancerous and non-cancerous lesions on the head and neck. When I had an unknown lesion on my nail I called her office. She knew exactly what my problem was! I would highly recommend anyone with a derm issue to see her.

Stephen Nock: I can confidently state that Dr Stavert was one of the best medical professionals that I've worked with. He is attentive, invested in the patient's interest and well-being, articulate in his own knowledge, and willing to research together when there's information he doesn't know on his own. I often feel that I have questions and curiosities that most patients don't think about, and Dr Stavert was keen to listen and explain what he could. I saw Dr Stavert at Somerville Hospital for several years between 2015 and 2017. I am no longer in Boston, but I am sure that his expertise is well-valued by others.
